Changing the RunAs account without reinstalling Workflow Manger

For SharePoint 2013 installation, I need to change the RunAs account.
is it possible to change the RunAs account without reinstalling Workflow Manger/SB Manager without complete uninstall? Even if I remove all servers from the farm, seems like the RunAs account is always in Management db, so RunAs account is pre-populated
with the old account.
Thank you

To change the RunAs account of the Service Bus, use following PowerShell commands:
Stop-SBFarm
Set-SBFarm -RunAsAccount Domain\Username
$RunAsPassword = ConvertTo-SecureString
-AsPlainText -Force
'<password>'
[RunOnAllNodes] Update-SBHost
-RunAsPassword $RunAsPassword
Start-SBFarm
Then open the Service Control Manager and navigate to Workflow Backend Service and change manually the account.
Restart the Wf Service.

  • How to change the primary harddisk without reinstall

    Hi,
I want to solve the following task:
Change the primary SATA harddisk to an new SSD in Small Business Server 2003.
    What I did:
I installed the SSD in to the system and made a software mirror. The two harddisk showed full synch.
    The problem:
When I removed the original harddisk to let the mirrored start, it didn’t. It says: “Ntldr is missing”
    What I tried:
I wanted to use fixboot; however Recovery console (nor from SBS neither from XP) didn’t recognize the partition fully. It recognized the Dynamic partition, but without letter and also didn’t find Windows installation.
I am looking for an advice how I can transfer the OS to the new disk without reinstall.
    Thanks in advance
    Péter Fischer

Server 2003 software mirror requires that you break the mirror if you wish to revert to a single disk.  Then, because the boot.ini refers to drive1/partition1, you will need to edit that.  The easiest way to test is to boot from a floppy with the
boot.ini altered, while keeping your original drive safe from harm.
Can you confirm that you don't need to load storage drives unique to that mobo or controller.... I'm guessing not since you used software raid.
How to make a boot floppy for Server 2003:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325879/en-us
Having said all that, you will gain little by having the system partition on an SSD drive, and SBS 2003 is out of support in April, so if you haven't made plans to migrate to something newer you might want to start those plans soon.

  • Changing the partition format without reinstall the Mac OS X

    Hi,
Does anyone know how to change the file system format of the partition without needed to reinstall the OS X ?
E.g. "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" > "Mac OS Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled)"
this link will give an idea of list of file system format available http://images.macworld.com/images/legacy/2006/10/images/content/pickformat.jpg
The main reason I need this is because of I wish to avoid reinstallation as it take time to install and update to latest patch...
I have MacBook with 3 partitions with formated to "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" on all 3 partitions. 1st and 2nd partition installed Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7, and created an image (by using carbon copy cloner) for each partition and saved it into 3rd partition as backup.
I tried to below but it doesn't help:
    1. Boot into 10.7.
    2. Erase the 1st partition 10.6, reformat it to "Mac OS Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled)".
    3. Restore 10.6 image that created previously.
    4. After restore completed, the 1st partition file system format back to "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)".
Is there's anyway to change the partition file system format without needed reinstall Mac OS X ?

Or is there any backup tool that it will only back file and folder level but not file system format ??
That what all backup tools do.
If so, then I can create a backup image of the existing entire partition file and folder only, then reformat the partition to case-sensitive, then restore back the file and folder...
Yes, that's what I'm suggesting. Be aware that it's a one-way conversion. Once you have a case-sensitive file system, you generally can't go back to case-insensitive without losing data. I hope you have a good reason for wanting to do this and that you know how to deal with the problems it may cause.

  • TS4020 I don't want to delete the secondary iCloud account? How do I change the primary account without deleting the old primary account!?

We want to change the Primary iCloud account on one of the businesses computers and all it tells us is to delete it. We don't want to because we're afraid this will also delete all the meetings and other things saved on this account. Can anyone tell us how to simply change and not delete. Or can you let us know if you do lose anything if you delete an iCloud account??
    Thanks

Never mind, I figured it out!

  • Change the iPhone account without current password

    Hi,
Recently, I've upgraded an iPhone to iPhone-6 for my mom, and all of apps and data were backed up and restored with iTunes. But unfortunately, as she can't remember her password for her account, nothings can be activated. After all of my tries, I gave up retrieving her password. So I create a new apple account. But unfortunately again, I couldn't log-out from current account because I don't know the old password. Really really frustrated!!!
Here is the question, how can I switch iPhone account by without current password?

You can't. If you are being prevented from logging out, that means Find my iPhone is on, and as an anti-theft mechanism, no one can sign out without the password. You'd be better off trying to retrieve the old ID. Call Apple: 1-800-MY-APPLE, and ask to talk to the account security team.

  • How can I change the icloud account without knowing password

I changed my use rid on all my other devices.. But this one my iPad mini. It still wants password for my old icloud id?

    Hi anniemarie83,
If you've recently made changes to your Apple ID, you may need to manually log out and log back in on your devices. You may find the following article helpful:

  • Can I change the email account on one of my iPads which my husband uses without effecting anything else?

I have a new iPad 3 and I want to give my iPad 1 to my husband but to keep some of my apps on his ipad(1) we decided that we will use my Apple ID for buying apps/iTunes. But if I change the email account on the old iPad will this effect anything else in either of the iPads?

    No.
    1. You can keep your account in both of iPad.
    2. You can sign your email in your new iPad.
    3. You can sign your husband's email in old iPad which is your Apple ID without any problem.
    4. If you and your husband want to keep personal privacy, please make sure don't use same cloud. Which means, your husband old iPad needs to sign his individual iTunes account (Apple account). The one also can sign your account for downloading your apps. After dowload apps, you better sign off. (You can sign in/off anytime for downloading purpose.) Second, better don't sync email. Close that function first where is under in "system" setting.

  • Changing the Reconciliation Account to Regular (Non Reconciliation) GL

    Hi there,
    We are on SAP ECC6.0.
We need to change the Master Record of a Reconciliation Account by making it a Regular (that is NON Reconciliation) Account.
The system is allowing us in doing this in certain cases and in some we are given the Error as:
Modifications to reconciliation account not permitted
    Error Message # FH110
We have already zero out the balance outstanding in all Vendors linked to this GL Account.
    Thanks
    Bob

    Hello,
It is not the question of making the balance to zero. Though you might have brought the balance to ZERO, but still they are showing as open items only in your system. Until and unless they are cleared, you cannot change.
After posting number of entries in the system, now try to change the reconciliation account to non-reconciliation account will have its own disadvantages and may affect adversely on your reporting. It suggested not to make any further changes. Make a new reconciliation and assigned the same to new customers or vendors or change the reconciliation account in the customer or vendor masters.
    Try to run F.5D
Please recheck your configuration in OBBW.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • How do i change the icloud account on my iphone to a different existing account

I have a business iPhone 5S on which the iTunes account is associated with the Apple ID I signed up for using my business e-mail. I signed in to iCloud with a personal Apple ID account to get some of my personal music onto the device. I have been trying to find out how to change the iCloud account to my business Apple ID. I'd like to be able to switch back and forth if I want. I have read several posts that advise deleting the iCloud account, but I still have personal devices I would like to continue to use with this Apple ID and iCloud account. The extent of the deletion is not addressed.
If I use the delete account under iCloud, does that delete it from the device, or does it delete it permanently? Tried adding my business email to the iCloud account, but it won't let me because it is associated with another Apple ID (duh). Am I stuck here?
    iPhone 5S, iOS 8.1 - just updated.
The only option under iCloud is "Sign Out"

Deleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud.  In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens.  Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device.  It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days.  When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question.  However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days.  When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload).  Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this.  If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account.

  • Changing the managed account to Admin

while trying to set the parental controls on my iMac 2006 (OSX Lion), it has changed my current User (only Admin Account) to a managed. It did not ask me for creating a new user account. after restart I realized that my user account is under parental controls and I cannot change them a the unlock button is asking me for a Admin user password and my admin has been changed to Managed.

  • |Running processflows without using Workflow??

    Hello,
Is it possible to run prcoessflows without using workflow, i don't want to depend on workflow to run it on schedules, we will use another schedular technology to run processflows.
But, is this possible and is there any package created in OWF_MGR database by workflow for each processflow to use it in running ???
    Thanks......

if you are going to use another scheduler then why not create a workflow within the scheduler for eg, if you using control M scheduler, then
all you go to do is prepare a workflow on ctrol M using the mappings from OWB and run it on control M. Either you create everything in owb and run in owb or just create the mapping in owb and run everything out of OWB why create a workflow in owb and run it on other scheduler. If you create a workflow in some other scheduler then you got better control over the processes running otherwise if will be difficult to handle errors and exceptions.
If you know what is process flow should look like then its much easier to create it on a scheduler if the software you are using is capable of doing it. I know for sure Control M and autosys are capable of doing it.

  • Change the mail account from POP to IMAP

    Hi All,
I have been looking around on how to switch a 10 years old email account from POP to IMAP for quite a while without success.
I've noticed that if I delete a POP account all emails are deleted, and despite all the backups I'm concerned even creating a new IMAP account and move back into all the emails.
    What do you suggest?
If I move all the emails into a local folder, are these email "disconnected" from the POP account so would I be able to delete the POP account without incur in a mass mail deletion?
    Thanks
    Andrea

Having Mail automatically change account type from, say, POP3 to IMAP is not going to happen, in my opinion. With it would come great risk of losing existing data between the cracks, and I don't think Apple of other developers will do that. There would be no one size fits all in the IMAP server world, and communication to change On My Mac mailboxes to folders residing on the server needs forethought.
Looking at it another way, it would be like moving your bank account from one bank to the other, via only web access.
The headaches are not the product of Mail or other email clients, but rather understanding the difference between POP and IMAP, and that many people do not understand those differences is demonstrated every day on this forum.
