Changing the size of a single movie as it plays

I don't know if this is new in Flash CS3 or not, but I just
started noticing it - web pages that are flash from top to bottom.
No matter where you right-click the pop-up menu tells you it is
Flash. And the whole thing resizes along with the browser's window.
How does one do this? And then to baffle my mind even further,
there is a site where the movie changes size - causing the browser
scrollbar to increase or decrease. I thought that you had to define
the movie's size and that was what it was going to be from
beginning to end. So if you click on a button, the text may be
twice as long - going off the bottom of the page.
I have nothing at all to do with this site, I think it was
presented in Adobe's Flash newsletter. But notice - it's all
Flash!! and if you click on a side button the browser scrollbar
changes (the movie changes size).

Someone please give me a clue as to how to do this!

This can't be that difficult. Someone must know how to do
this. Please help!!
I just can't figure out how a movie would fit in a browser
window and another page in the same movie causes the browser window
to get larger because the that page causes the movie's height to
increase.

In get method of your description column split the text into lines using <br> tag.
Something like this:

Can I change the size of a single page in cs3

trying to create a book cover template. I've setup my document margins bleed etc. I have 3 pages side by side just not sure how to resize the middle page (spine). Is it possible in CS3?
I tried creating a new doc with the proper spine width, and dragging that page into my main document, but it was just resized.

In CS3 you can have only one page size per document. I would make a new file with one (or two, if there will be printing inside the cover) page(s) that is the same height, but as wide as the combined width of front back and spine. I would set it up as two columns, with the gutter the dimension of the spine, to divide it into three zones.

Check, if you have a volume automation set on the software instrument track.
If the track volume automation curve is enabled, the volume slider for the track will move with the automation curve.
Click the automation curves disclosure triangle in the track header and disable the volume automation.

If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}

I know how to change the background of a page (wrench tool- document setup- add shape- change size to fit whole page - change colour - done)
but it automatically makes every page that colour not just one page, please can somebody explain how to make it work. Thanks

Thank you for the details setting a background color in Pages. When you click on Document Setup under the wrench tool, this sets the background for your entire document.
Alternatively, if you want to add a background on a single page but not for the entire document, you can just add a shape with the background color on that page. I also recommend locking the shape once you add it so that it doesn't move while you are trying to add other items to the page.
Follow the steps in this article to add a shape, change the size to fit the whole page, and change the color:

How can you move the orientaion of the left side menus so that they sit above a document when using word. If you have a single document open you tend to place it in the centre of the screen and the drop down menus are so far away.

I don't know of a way to change the size of the menu bar.
For the other, take a look at Menu Pop. I don't know anything about it. Just happened across it the other day.

How Can I Change the Size of My Home Page So That It Fills the Screen?

I have a PowerBook G4. Up until a couple of weeks ago when I opened Safari the home page filled the screen. Something has happened and now it fills only a portion of the screen. I can move the page around, change the size slightly by using the green button next to the minimizing button, but nothing I do will enlarge it to fill the screen. I have gone to View and Preferences, but find nothing to resolve this. Please help!

you can use CALL SCREEN 2009 STARTING AT x-cor y-cor ENDIGN AT x-cor y-cor to put the screen. You can change x and y coordinates.

Changing the Size of generated graph in excel report generation toolkit

Hi, i am trying to build a report generation vi for my Structural health monitoring system in which i need to export 3 graphs in to an excel report. The idea is to have the report on a single page, but when i paste them along with the ceiling and pillar deviation percentages, the report just exceeds the page limit. I wanted to know whether one can change the size of the graphs in excel? One can do it in word(tried that), but i dont want to use the bookmark option as it intend to put this up as a webservice in the next step. I am using LabVIEW 2009 Thanks.

Hi,
I haven't tried this myself, but looking through the report generation toolkit the "Excel format image VI" (in the Excel specific tab of the Report Genertaion window) looks to be the one you are after. The help entry for the VI says to: "Use this VI to format any type of image in a worksheet, including front panel images, images from a file, and graphs"

Dropping and re-creating the table is by far the best way (of course you need to unload the table's data to a flat file with ttBulkCp first and then reload it again afterwards).
a second option is to drop the column and re-add it with the new size but you still need to preserve the data first and put it back afterwards and this is harder for a single column than for a whole table. Also, if you are using replication you should exercise care when using ALTER TABLE to ensure iall replicated copies of the table maintain the same physical structure.

Trying to change the color of a single cell

hi, I am trying to change the color of a single cell when mouse moves over it, but couldn't do it. i even tried my own renderer, but it doesn't work. can anybody help ?

Here is what I am trying to do. I am displaying some data in a java JTable retrieved from a table in database. What is needed is when user moves his mouse over any cell in the third column, the cursor should change to hand cursor and possibly the background color should also change, to indicate the user that this cell is clickable. Can I change the size of a jpg in another jpg?

I have PSE 9 on XP with SP3.
My wife has a business card as a jpg.
On the right side of the card is a picture of a painting of a dog she did.
She wanted to change that picture.
So I used the Rectangular Marquee Tool to select the existing image and then deleted it.
Then I opened the new jpg in a second PSE window.
Did a Select/All.
Switched to the window with the card.
Did a Edit/Paste Into Selection.
Well, the new image went right into the spot where it should.
But I need to change the size of it so that it will fill that entire selection.
Right now it seems to be centered in the selection and about 1/2 the size I need.
Any ideas on how I should proceed? Or a better way to do this from the start?

Click on the move tool to drag your image into position.
Use the corner handles of the bounding box to scale - hold down the shift key to maintain proportions.
