I successfully inserted check box in Order form now i want to make checked/Unchecked with the click event and i want to read the status of check box
How can i do this using VB.Net

I am implementing a scenario wherein which I need to get the checked items and process upon the user action. In the implementation I am not getting the checked values.
This is how I have implemented.
I have added a check box field in the Field catalog which is type c
* Item Layout for the Check box.
lwa_item_layout-fieldname = 'CHKBOX'.
lwa_item_layout-class = cl_gui_column_tree=>item_class_checkbox.
lwa_item_layout-editable = 'X'.
APPEND lwa_item_layout TO lt_item_layout.
After that I have tried to used this code to get the checked items.
 CALL METHOD tree1->get_checked_items
 IMPORTING
 et_checked_items = t_checked.
But I am not getting any values in the table.
Further I have tried to use the Event checkbox_change for the check box logic( I am not sure but I thought it is)
But the event is not triggering with this... Please Help me in this regard...

How to handle check box click in ALV grid

Hi Experts,
I use ALV grid using FM.
I have list of delivery note items with one custom field as check-box. When I check the checkbox, all other lines related to the same delivery note should be automaticaly checked.
Is there any event or function code, where I can handle single click to checkbox?

Handling Check box in BDC program

Hi Folks,
          I am developng a BDC for a transaction. The BDC has to pass four tabs in that transaction. Everything is working, but in the fourth tab, there is check box which need to be checked. But when the BDC program enters that tab..it throwing a error message saying 'No field with that name in this screen'. there are still some more check boxes in that tab. Is there any specific way to handle the check boxes...is there anything to add as extension for that check box field..pls suggest me...

Hi,
If you need to disable a selected number of fields on teh selection of a checkbox, follow the below steps.
1. In the get_p method of the attribute which is a checkbox, add the code to call the server event everytime the user selects or deselcts the checkbox.
2. Redefine the get_i method of all the attributes which should be disabled on the selection of the checkbox.
3. Retrieve the value of the checkbox attribute. if the value is abap_true(i.e. it is enabled), set the return parameter rv_disabled of the method to abap_true. This needs to be done in the method get_i_<attribute_name> for all the attributes.

How to handle the check box in the alv tree display

Hello,
in my ALV Tree Report i have a check box in the output.
I have one check box in the selection screen as select all .
if this is selected then all the check boxes in the output must be selected that is (X).
am using CL_GUI_ALV_TREE for this.
Please give me some input how to make that check boxes 'X' in the above mentioned case.

Handling Check Boxes in the selection screen

Hi All,
I have defined 3 Check Boxes in the selection screen and one box will be ticked as 'X" by default.
I need to put restriction so that only any one should be selected as 'X' whenever user wish to select.
Hence any time, when user selects a box, other two should be unchecked.
How to put this kind of control?

Urgent Help Required for Check Box in Table Column

Hi all,
Could any body help me to solve my problem?
First of all I have created a table whose one column is check box. The column of the tables are Name,Phone,ID,Address and a checkBox columns.In one view
the table will be found with data. I want to click on some of the rows(suppose there are 5 rows, but based on some condition I have selected the check box of 3 rows).
Next there will be a button(Supose SEND Button).
After selecting the check box I want to press that button and then a new window will come which will show two tables. one for selected rows(with the same columns name except check box) and another for Unchecked rows with the same column name(Name,Phone,ID,Address).
Could any body help me by sending the details and code?

Hi Sudip,
1) create custom controller and appropriate context structure there (dataNode(Name,Phone,ID,Address,Check))
2) create view StartView. Map data node from custom controller to node in view. Create table and bind context node attributes to appropriate table columns.
3) create view ResultView. Map data node from custom controller to node in view. Create 2 nodes (CheckedData, UncheckedData) with supply methods. Create filtering implementation in supply methods (add checked and unchecked node elements to appropriate nodes).
4) create new window with resultView as default view
4) in startView in button action handler put something like
     IWDWindowInfo _windowInfo = wdComponentAPI.getComponentInfo().findInWindows("Popup");
     IWDWindowManager manager = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager();
     IWDWindow _window = manager.createWindow(_windowInfo, true);
     _window.open();
So, just tried localy and it works.

How to disable check box (row selector) in a tabular APEX report

I have a tabular report with check boxes that gets populated by a SQL query. For certain rows, I want to disable (or not render) the check box, depending on the value of one of the columns for that particular row (if the value of a column defined as Date is less than sysdate, I don't want to display the check box for that row). I tried using the Conditional Display in the Column Attribute section of the check box, but I am unable to access this Date column which is being selected from a view in the source SQL. I used variable such as :name-of_column, V(':name-of_column'), but always get a NULL value for this Date column in the SQL that I am trying to code in the Conditional Display section. For this reason, my condition does not work correctly.
What am I doing wrong? Is my approach above correct?

I don't think you can handle this with a conditional display, as that works on column level rather than row level.
The way I see it, there are two things you can do:
1) an sql approach, where youo render the checkbox as part of your query using apex_item.checkbox, check the oracle docs for detailed info on the usage APEX_ITEM
You'll end up with a query like
select case when YOUR_DATE_COLUMN < sysdate
 then null
 else apex_item.checkbox2( p_idx => 1
 , p_value => YOUR_DATE_COLUMN
, <rest of your query here>
from YOUR_TABLE
2) an JavaScript approach in which you create a dynamic action that check your tabular form date column and, when necessary hides and disables the checkbox for that row.
First option is more robust, but will require a bit more work. Second option is faster to develop, but might have different effect across various browsers and browser versions.

How to capture check box click in ALV

Hi,
I have requirement in which after displaying the ALV out put, immediately when the check box is checked i need to capture it and proceed with further coding with that input.
Check box click is not getting captured in "USER COMMAND or LINE SELECTION"

If you are using cl_gui_alv_grid you need to register "change" event to catch the checkbox change.
you do so with this method of cl_gui_alv_grid class :
register_edit_event( i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified ).

Can anybody tell me how to insert check box fields in a htmlb: tableview in a sequence of rows in a table view. How to generate the sequence no for the checkbox inorder to know the row that is checked.

Problem in Creating Check boxes as a column in a table using MVC

I am trying to display a table format using the Model view controlers, with 1st column as a checkbox. if the user chooses some check boxes and submit the screen then i need to update the information in a custome table.
I am having a problem in creating the check boxes, also pls tell me how to catch the line items checked by the user in the table...

In the context tab , create 2 context attributes ca_attr1 and ca_attr2 of type WDY_BOOLEAN under a context node cn_node
now in ur Layout , bind the ENABLE property of CheckBoxGroup UI Element with this attribute ca_attr1
bind the ENABLE property of CheckBox UI Element with this attribute ca_attr2
create a action for ur Checkbox , for the OnToggle property of ur checkbox
in OnactionToggle , check if ca_attr2 is 'X' , set ca_attr2 to ' ' ( for disable)
this can be done by code wizard , press control +f7 and use read/set context attributes , use get_attribute and set_attribute methods
