Check Form for Errors When Digitally Signing?
Greetings,
I am using LiveCycle Designer ES3. The target version of my form is Adobe version 8.
My form is initially completed by a document generator, then forwarded to a reviewer. The reviewer will then use the form to document his/her determinations (approved, disapproved, etc) of the material the document generator submitted for review. Once the reviewer is done with his/her determinations, he/she digitally signs the document using the signature field created in LiveCycle. Once the document is signed, it is locked down and unable to be edited further.
Is it possible to have my form check for oustanding errors when the reviewer attempts to sign? Also, is it possible to not allow the reviewer to sign if errors are present?
Thank you in advance for your help.
To clarify, the document generator only fills out a few fields. The reviewer completes the rest of the form, so the reviewer would be the one making the errors.

I have checked “Search for text when I start typing” but it is not happening since your latest update. This is very important to me as I keyboard - not use the mouse. What can I do? Also, before the last update I could leave the window (alt+tab) and return and just type and it would type it is the search box. Now I have to take my hand off the keyboard and get the mouse three times for every search, slowing my work way, way down. What other flag do I need to put this back the way it was? Should I also remove the “Automatically check for updates” so that this will not happen again? Please, please help.
Hi CynthiaP,
You should look at the article [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Preferences_not_saved Preferences not saved]. It may just be an issue with the pref file!

Error when I sign in to the Convert PDF to Word feature
When I sign in to the Convert PDF to Word feature, after I enter my password I get a message "An error occurred while signing in" and the feature locks up, giving the same message if I use the "convert" button, can anyone help with this. Adobe Support sent 3 emails to reset my password all of which timed out before I could get to them. I have changed my password and it is still the same. Help please.
Hello Kathie,
Sorry for the inconvenience that has caused to you.
Please let me know if you have tried converting any other PDF to word with Reader.
Alos, please sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials. Click on 'ExportPDF' tab and upload the PDF that you want to convert to Word.
Let me know if this converts fine.
Hope to hear from you.

Creating a visible signature on multiple pages when digitally signing a PDF
When I digitally sign a PDF file, is there a way to make the visible signature appear on every page of the PDF at once, instead of just the current page? Specifically, I'd like to place a scan of a professional engineer's seal on every sheet of a PDF containing MEP drawings, in one step, as I digitally sign the file with Adobe Acrobat. I've done some research and haven't found any relevant information for this particular question, so maybe it's not possible? I'd like to know for sure, one way or the other.
Thanks much.
RobertThe appearance of a signature is something of no importance at all, so just stamp the pages first, then sign withou an appearance.

Making a subform appear when Digitally Signed
Hi,
how would i get a hidden subform to appear when the pdf is digitally signed, what i need to appear is:
form1.page1.subform6.SubmitForm.presence = "visable";
form1.page1.subform6.presence = "visable";You would have to run your code on the preSign event otherwise if the form changes after the signature is applied it will break the signature. Your code is OK except that it is visible not visable.

Form Field Error when similar names
In Adobe Acrobat X Pro, I receive the following error when I try to change the name of a text field from Company.BS.Condition1.Date to Company.BS.Condition.Date: "A field of a different type already uses this name. Please choose a new name for the field, or change the field type to match the existing field with this name." But, there is no other field with that name. There is a checkbox with a similar name: Company.BS.Condition I must use these particular field names, as they are being automatically populated by a program that is written to use these field names.
Sometimes while creating a form it's structures gets corrupted due to which some users face this difficulty. Here's what you can do fix the issue.
Print the form using Adobe PDF printer (installed with Acrobat) to create a flat file with no fields.
Open the form in Acrobat. Click on Tools-> Forms -> Edit.
Allow the form to self detect the fields.
Place the remaining fields like checkbox, signature fields and text fields.
Close the form editing mode and save the form.
For the Reader users, remember to read extend the form. If the all the users are using Reader XI then it's fine.
To Read extend the form, Open the form in Acrobat, click on "File" -> Save as Other-> Reader Extended PDF-> Enable Additonal features.
I am also attaching the fixed form for your reference.

Disconnect Error when Digital camera is connected
This is the third time now the Disconnect Error pops up when I connect and turn on my digital camera. After the error pop-up goes away, iPhoto asks if I want to import photos and all photos import fine.
I looked in Console to see if there is anything and I found this:
** (process:5105): CRITICAL **: gaimaccount_getstate: assertion `account != NULL' failed
2007-04-26 21:53:03.369 iPhoto[5747] * -[NSTextField setAllowsMultipleSelection:]: selector not recognized [self = 0xc1d1d30]
It all started after I switched USB cables, both are from Sony, 1 for the digital camera and the other for the digital camcorder. I tried the digital cameras original cable but I still got the same error pop-up.
What is causing the disconnect error when I always Eject the icon before disconnecting the USB cable?R.Bud.U:
Try reformatting the card with the camera. Not just erase but a reformat. I do that after every upload. See if that will clean up that error message.

Check disk for errors caused data lost
in the past few weeks i was hearing some weired sounds coming from my laptop, so a friend recommended using "check disk local for errors"
it took a few hours. but when it finished, i found out that i lost 7GB of data (movies,images,pdf.....) from my USER folder but disk c; didn't gain any free space, which means that i still have my files but they are hidden somewhere.
-could someone please tell me how to retrieve them?¿?¿¡¡¡This is an indication your HDD has bad sectors. This is the loss of the magnetic properties of the platter and cannot be fixed by Windows. Suggest you replace you HDD As Soon As Possible (ASAP).

Now that we have upgraded to DW8, having issues with yaromat
CHECK FORM
MX.....
the issue im having is my page is a simple form collecting
basic / general
information about a person
when i open check form within that page / form it has 2 or 3
of each field,
never seen this problem before.
So basically if i want to use the ext then i have to
customize each field
that i want required 2 or 3 times....
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the ext. but still
same issue.. i
have searched the page to see if maybe there was duplicate
code thruout the
page and nothing..I use Yaromat's Check Form behavior in DW 8 all the time. No
issues at all.

Check form for diffrent house bank
Dear Experts,
I am having a requirement to generate the check payment with diffrenet house bank. We have developed the check layout and we are having one payment method called "C".
Both the house bank check layouts are diffrent.
Can anyone suggest how to handle this scenario.
Thanks
AswinThanks Murali,
But it is a payment method for a company code and not for a house bank. Hence I can give only one form for a given payment method for a company code.
Now if I have more than one bank with preprinted stationery where do I maintain the next form for the specified house bank.
With regards

Two check forms for same company code
Hi
We are using two different house banks with in same company code. And we will issue checks from both banks depending on need. However check formats of both banks are different.
Question is how to set up different check formats as we can enter only one check form in FBZP by company code.
Any help in this regard really appreciated.
thanksclosed myself
