1). mm.mysql.jdbc-1.2c must be a valid jar file. Presumably its full name is mm.mysql.jdbc-1.2c.jar. Can you unjar it successfully? When you do, is org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver.class present? I'm not suggesting that you copy Driver.class anywhere, just that you validate the jar file.
2) mm.mysql.jdbc-1.2c.jar should be in your .../WEB-INF/lib directory.
3) This is an old version of the driver. If this is a new project as you imply, why not use the latest version (same point applies to the JDK).

Create problem when compiling the servlet
hi,
i got a problem when i compile a servlet
when i try to compile the servlet, it shows that it could
not found the classes like httpservlet, etc.
means the classes of the servlet
i am using the j2sdk1.4.1 edition,
i had include the javax.servlet.*; in the program
please tell me what can be the problem & especially any solution for thatthe javax.servlet package and it's sub packages (javax.servlet.http, javax.servlet.jsp, javax.servlet.jsp.tagext) are not included with the Standard Edition. Facing the problem while executing the Servlet on Jserv Unix box
Requirement : To Upload the CSV file from client machine to the database
server's UTL file directory path and load the
contents of the file in to table by using PLSQL procedure.
Followed Process : 1> JSP page is used to take the CSV file as Input for
transferring to the Database server's UTL file directory
path.
2> SERVLET is called by above mentioned JSP which
transfers the input CSV file to the database server UTL
path.
It also called the PLSQL procedure which load the contents
of the file in the table.
File Transfer Method: Multi-part/Form-data
Web-server : Apache-Jserv
Operating System : Unix
Problem : After trying to upload the file from JSP, I am getting the INTERNAL SERVER ERROR.
Note : The above process has been tested successfully on TOMCAT5 server on Windows XP.

I am trying to move my itunes library from my old pc to my new imac, home sharing is on and I can see the shared library. My problem is that when I check the shared library to import it to my imac I cannot import it. Can anyone help me?
You need to transfer the iTunes Library from the most recent backup you made before the hard drive was replaced.
You can't transfer the full iTunes Library from the iPad back to iTunes.
There are third-party Windows applications that will transfer data from an iOS device, but they don't re-create the iTunes Library exactly as it was before. -
Since i got the new Iphone 4s it constantly drops calls. Apple have replaced the phone with another new iphone 4s but i am still having the same problem. I have checked with vodapohe that there is no issue from there end, given a new sim, still drops out

Our Environment is Essbase 11.1.2.2 and working on Essbase EAS and Shared Services components.One of our user tried to run the Cal Script of one Application and faced this error.
Dynamic Calc processor cannot lock more than [100] ESM blocks during the calculation, please increase CalcLockBlock setting and then retry(a small data cache setting could also cause this problem, please check the data cache size setting).
I have done some Google and found that we need to add something in Essbase.cfg file like below.

Possible Problems
Analytic Services could not lock enough blocks to perform the calculation.
Possible Solutions
Increase the number of blocks that Analytic Services can allocate for a calculation:
Set the maximum number of blocks that Analytic Services can allocate to at least 500.
If you do not have an $ARBORPATH/bin/essbase.cfg file on the server computer, create one using a text editor.
In the essbase.cfg file on the server computer, set CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH to 500.
Stop and restart Analytic Server.
Add the SET LOCKBLOCK HIGH command to the beginning of the calculation script.
Set the data cache large enough to hold all the blocks specified in the CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH setting.
Determine the block size.
Set the data catche size.
Actually in our Server Config file(essbase.cfg) we dont have below data added.
CalcLockBlockHigh 2000
CalcLockBlockDefault 200
CalcLockBlocklow 50
So my doubt is if we edit the Essbase.cfg file and add the above settings and restart the services will it work? and if so why should we change the Server config file if the problem is with one application Cal Script. Please guide me how to proceed.

NaveenYour calculation needs to hold more blocks in memory than your current set up allows.
From the docs (quoting so I don't have to write it, not to be a smarta***:
CALCLOCKBLOCK specifies the number of blocks that can be fixed at each level of the SET LOCKBLOCK HIGH | DEFAULT | LOW calculation script command.
When a block is calculated, Essbase fixes (gets addressability to) the block along with the blocks containing its children. Essbase calculates the block and then releases it along with the blocks containing its children. By default, Essbase allows up to 100 blocks to be fixed concurrently when calculating a block. This is sufficient for most database calculations. However, you may want to set a number higher than 100 if you are consolidating very large numbers of children in a formula calculation. This ensures that Essbase can fix all the required blocks when calculating a data block and that performance will not be impaired.
Example
If the essbase.cfg file contains the following settings:
CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH 500 CALCLOCKBLOCKDEFAULT 200 CALCLOCKBLOCKLOW 50
then you can use the following SET LOCKBLOCK setting commands in a calculation script:
SET LOCKBLOCK HIGH;
means that Essbase can fix up to 500 data blocks when calculating one block.
Support doc is saying to change your config file so those settings can be made available for any calc script to use.
On a side note, if this was working previously and now isn't then it is worth investigating if this is simply due to standard growth or a recent change that has made an unexpected significant impact. -

Hi All,
I am configuring RSS Viewer webpart to SP 2013.
But i am getting an error "An unexpected error occurred processing your request. Check the logs for details and correct the problem."
I looked for solution of this error. i got to know, we need to set proxy server in web.config file.
So, in order to resolve this i put the following set of code in web.config and save the file

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used RSS viewer web part in SharePoint 2013.
The RSS viewer web part uses authentication delegation and is using the current user's credentials to access the proxy. However, the RSS viewer only supports anonymous and Kerberos authentication. So if you are using NTLM authentication, the RSS viewer will

there was a problem connecting to the server...please check the share name..every 3 seconds. made computer useless. Lion. It only complains about one of my PCs that usually shares OK with the imac.
First, restart the Time Capsule by disconnecting the power adapter and reconnecting it. If other devices on the network can see it, you can skip this step.
From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
Click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the window and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. Click the Advanced button, then select the TCP/IP tab in the sheet that drops down. Click Renew DHCP lease.
Try again to back up.
If you still can't, open the Time Machine preference pane and delete the TC from the list of backup destinations. You may have to unlock the settings by clicking the lock icon in order to do this. Then add it back. -
The following error pop's up as an [OK] dialogue box after logging in the iMac,

As it happens, a connection to the Time Capsule is established usually, anyway. On occasion it doesn't.

Problem in retriving the realpath from the servlet
Hai All,
I am facing problem in retriving the realpath from the servlet.
I am using the following code in order to retrieve the path.
String prefix = getServletContext().getRealPath("/WEB-INF/classes");
The value returned from above code is null.
I am using Weblogic 8.1 server, and deploying my servlet as WAR file inside
the weblogic server.
Is this the problem with the weblogic server or with the code. Is there any way to over come this.
I need the path as i am implementing Log4j for the servlet and i have to pass the
configuration file in one of the function "PropertyConfigurator.configure(file);"
where the file should include complete path.
My configuration file is in WEB-INF/Classes directory.
Any help is appreciated.
