Child *********** scare in a popup

My son was on his MacbookPro and had a screen come up that looked like a government site of some kind saying pay me and we will remove the child *********** from your computer.  How can I protect against it?  The popup blocker is on. I don't know if it was a re-direct or a popup.

You will want to setup your kid with Parental Controls via System Preferences in an account they log into for their laptop.  That allows you to control all the content.

    JDev 11.1.2.1
    I'm using the code described here to launch popup from a backing bean.
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/oct2010-otn-harvest-183714.pdf
    How-to launch a popup programmatically from Java
    Starting Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.1.3, instance of af:popup can be opened using a Java method on the RichPopup object. The RichPopup class is the bean implementation of the af:popup ADF Faces tag. To launch a popup from a managed bean, you first need to get a hold on to a rich popup instance, which you can do by searching it on the UIViewRoot or by referencing a JSF component binding – which you create using the "binding" property of the af:popup component tag. To open the popup you then call
    RichPopup.PopupHints ph = new RichPopup.PopupHints(); popup.show(ph);
    It works fine except when the popup is inside a page fragment.
    In IE 7 I get the javascript error message
    "this.getDomNode().parentNode' is null or not an object"
    I have also tried the following code; that works fine except when the popup is inside a page fragment.
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    String popupId = popup.getClientId(context);
    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ExtendedRenderKitService service =
    Service.getRenderKitService(facesContext,
    ExtendedRenderKitService.class);
    service.addScript(facesContext,
    "AdfPage.PAGE.findComponent('" + popupId + "').show();");
    Any idea how to launch a popup in a page fragment?

    Since this is working for others I'm working on a test case to send to oracle.
    I'll try to give more information.
    Main.jspx
    has a region for Child.jsff using a bounded task flow.
    <af:region value="#{bindings.Child.regionModel}" id="r1"/>
    Child.jsff has a popup bound to backing bean and a button that calls java to open the popup.
    Child.jsff has its own set of bindings. It is not inherting parent bindings.

  • Window.opener problem in javascript

    Hi,
    I'm using a code for opening a clild window from the parent window. The child window contains some <input type="file"> elements. After setting the values of these file elements I'm closing the child window. But before closing I want to set the values of file elements to the file elements on my parent window.
    The code I'm using is as follows:
    "parent.jsp"
    =========
    function createWindow() {
    window.open("child.jsp");
    return false;
    <form method="post" action="display.jsp" enctype="multipart/form-data">
    <input type="button" value="Add Attachments" onClick="return createWindow()"><br>
    <input type="file" name="file1"><br>
    <input type="file" name="file2"><br>
    <input type="file" name="file3"><br>
    <input type="submit" value="Submit Form"><br>
    </center>
    </form>
    "child.jsp"
    ========
    function returnToMainWindow() {
    window.opener.document.forms[0].file1.value = document.forms[0].filex.value;
    window.close();
    <form method="post">
    <center>
    <input type="file" name="filex"><br>
    <input type="file" name="filey"><br>
    <input type="file" name="filez"><br>
    <input type="button" onClick="returnToMainWindow()" value="Done">
    </center>
    </form> The problem is when I'm setting the values of file control of child window to the file control of parent window using window.opener, it's unable to set up the values. Can someone rectify the problem in the code.

    It is impossible to set the value of the file input thing. But if they realy want it in a popup, then you can try something like this:
    -1. Put the attatchement list in a iframe
    0. Open the parent file with some with somewhere a unique id (like a session id or something
    1. Open your child page in a popup, give that uniqueid as parameter ("like child.jsp?id=<uniqueId>")
    2. Use regular file input things in that popup, and replace the 'close' button by a submit button
    3. Track the submit of the form, show a 'now uploading to server, please wait' message
    4. The child page sends the attatchements to the server, stored in a tempory folder named <uniqueId> (store it in the form as a hidden input thing)
    5. When the upload is ready, display some message 'files uploaded, close this window to return to your mail'.
    6. When the user clicks that 'close' button, close the popup and then reload the attachment-frame
    7. The attachment-frame just lists the files stored in that <sessionid> folder, and it seems like the user has added those files to it
    If you want i can create an example of it
    koentjepoppe
    note: if you add the date to that unique id, you know when that folder is created and then you know wich folders you have to delete if the user aborts his mail for example (then those files are still in that folder wasting space)

    http://www.****************
    BDC is the way to transfer data by writing a batch input program which can use either session or call transaction method.
    LSMW used to transfer data without/less code.
    What type of data we transfer using LSMW?
    LSMW is best suited for transferring master data.
    Actually BDC and LSMW are not comparable at all.
    for example LSMW itself can use BDC as a way of mass data transfer.
    BDC is a mass data transfer technique via screen logic of existing SAP Data entry transactions. It behaves as if you are manually making thousand of entires into sap system as a background job. And that is probably the reason why BAPI's are preffered over BDC's.
    On the other hand LSMW is a tool to facilitate DATA migration from other legacy systems ... It contains step by step procedure for data migration.
    Like Managing Data Migration Projects , Creating Source Structures , Mapping Source structures wid Target structures , etc etc
    LSMW internally might well be using the following techniqes for data transfer..
    1. IDOX
    2. Direct Input / BDC
    4. BAPI's
    LSMW is an encapsulated data transfer tool. It can provide the same functionality as BDC infact much more but when coming to techinical perspective most the parameters are encapulated. To listout some of the differences :
    LSMW is basicaly designed for a fuctional consultant who do not do much coding but need to explore the fuctionality while BDC is designed for a technical consultant.
    LSMW offers different techinque for migrating data: Direct input ,BAPI,Idoc,Batch input recording. While bdc basically uses recording.
    LSMW mapping is done by SAP while in BDC we have to do it explicitly .
    LSMW is basically for standard SAP application while bdc basically for customized application.
    Coding can be done flexibly in BDC when compared to LSMW
    see this and do accordingly

  • Problem window.opener.doSubmit

    Hello,
    We have one application, say with URL
    http://localhost/some_app
    This is not an APEX application.
    On this application on click of a button we popup an APEX page (with public access) and when user clicks on "Ok" button of this APEX page we pop the page down and want
    to refresh the original application page. We do this by following javascript function from the APEX page
    function close(url) {
    window.opener.location.href = decodeBIURL(url);
    window.opener.doSubmit('REFRESH');
    window.close();
    We pass the url of the original application to this APEX page as one of the parameters.
    This works fine as long as APEX page has URL of the form http://localhost:8085/apex/f?p=101:3, i.e. original application URL and APEX URL both have same hostname part (in the example above localhost ), but moment they are differnet IE pops up another window for original URL.
    does anyone know fix to this problem?
    regards, Yora

    It is impossible to set the value of the file input thing. But if they realy want it in a popup, then you can try something like this:

    5. When the upload is ready, display some message 'files uploaded, close this window to return to your mail'.

  • CRM Business Object BUS1006005 Not Showing In LSMW Object List

    I am trying to use Bus. Object BUS1006005 in an LSMW using BAPI.  I noticed that I need to generate an ALE interface for the object before LSMW can use it.. Can someone please help me with this?  When I drop-down on Business Object in LSMW Attributes, this object does not show on the list, however I noticed that Bus. Objects with ALE Message Types do show up.
    Kind Regards,
    Jason

  • Trying to understand Activation property from Taskflows and childCreation

    Hi !. I would like to know what would be the interpretation If I build a jspx with a popup and I put a task flow with the activation property set to deferred but with the childcreation property from the popup to inmediate ?. Thanklx

    Hi,
    "deferred" on a task flow only ensures the task flow is not initialized before it is displayed (in case it is initially added to a a hidden panel). The child activation on a popup determines when the content is fetched. If you set this to immediate then the content is rendered while the popup loads. If you leave child creation to deferred as well, then the popup renders and as soon as it does, the content is fetched with subsequent partial requests.
