Cisco ISE - Authentication Bullet Not Appearing on a Starting Windows Machine Connected to IP Phone

I have this case and I would be very thankful if someone has the answer for !
When Wired AutoConfig service is enabled on a Windows XP (or 7) station that is connected to an IP phone, the "Additional Information is needed to connect to this network" popup bullet successfully appears when the UTP cable is unplugged and then plugged back in the network card or the network adapter is disabled and re-enabled or the switchport configured with Dot1x had a shut no shut.
However, the "Additional Information is needed to connect to this network" does not appear when the Windows workstation reboots and it gets unauthenticated!
Our customer finds it a hard task to instruct his "non IT employees" to unplug the UTP cable and then plug it back or do any of the above methods in order for the authentication bullet to appear.
Does anyone know how to configure the Windows machine so that the authentication popup bullet automatically appears upon machine startup?

Please note that the authentication bullet appears on a Windows PC directly connected to the switch.
The problem is when the PC is connected to an IP phone or takes too long to boot.

I've generate a certificate for ISE using Windows Server CA and replace ISE's self-signed certificate with the new certificate but authentication still failed with the same error message. Must I generate a certificate for WLC also? Please help me in solving this problem.

I have even downloaded it to a separate folder and ran the install with IE shut down completely. And Shockwave in ENABLED but in 32 bit .I have been trying to get this to work for about 3 weeks now. Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program.
If you need to open a local SWF file you will need the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to make the file association manually.

I have followed previous instructions to stop then start the device manager. I have even uninstalled then reinstalled iTunes, but no luck. Can someone help??

New Skype Emoji not appearing on Skype for Windows Phone

Posted here because I couldn't select "Skype for mobile" in the Windows 10 Edge browser... I've noticed that emoji like (Windows10) do not appear in Skype on Windows Phone. Instead, I see an empty white box. I also don't see the text of the emoji. Seems like an issue with Skype for Windows Phone where the app understands that (Windows10) is an emoji, but can't find the image to display.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit option only).
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know your password, or if you prefer not to enter it, just press return three times at the password prompt.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test will take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line "[Process completed]" to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report your results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

Cisco ISE IP Renewal not working

Hi all,
I am setting up a CWA with Cisco ISE to authenticate Guests and Employees by Web and assign them to Two different vlans. The authentication pass. The authZ Profiles are affected. but The IP address did not change according to vlan until I renew it manually from console ( >ipconfig /release >ipconfig /renew). I desactivated Java in browsers, I activated it again and added the IP of the ISE to the Exception List in Java setting but the IP address still not change automatically.
Any Ideas how to fix this Issue?

Make sure you have put a check on the VLAN DHCP Release option.
If you are using ISE 1.3 then your path will be,
Guest Access > Configure > Guest Portals > Create, Edit or Duplicate > Portal Behavior and Flow Settings > VLAN DHCP Release Page Settings.
This affects the Central WebAuth (CWA) flow during final authorization when the network access changes the guest VLAN to a new VLAN. The guest’s old IP address must be released before the VLAN change and a new guest IP address must be requested through DHCP once the new VLAN access is in place. The IP address release renew operation varies by the browser and operating system used; Internet Explorer uses ActiveX controls, and Firefox and Google Chrome use Java applets. For non-Internet Explorer browsers, Java must be installed and enabled on the browser.
The VLAN DHCP Release option does not work on mobile devices. Instead, guests are requested to manually reset the IP address. This method varies by devices. For example, on Apple iOS devices, guests can select the Wi-Fi network and click the Renew Lease button.
For ISE 1.2 version, you can find the same option on the Guest Portal settings.

Cisco ISE authenticating Ip Phone 7942

I am installing Cisco ISE soon and have a question. Why can't I authenticate Cisco IP phone model 7942 using 802.1x? I see that the phone has this option (it is not enabled). I am told that Cisco IP Phones must be authenticated on ISE by using profiling or MAB. This uses a costly advanced license to accomplish this.
Has anybody had any luck in this area?

I have successfully deployed 802.1x for wireless IP phones using MIC. The only real problem I have with this approach is the inability of ISE to authenticate the username from certificate against anything but an external database. As a result I have been forced to use a static endpoint group for the MAC addresses of the allowed phones to meet the organisation's security stance. Just wish EAP-TLS could go against an internal database.

Option for "Delivery by Highlighted Bullet" not appearing

In trying to have a bullet list appear bullet by bullet, and having prior item dim, I am not able to get the "Delivery by HIghlighted Bullet" option.... Only All at Once or By Paragraph ... am sure its a silly error on my part -- but can't figure it out. Rebuilt slide form scratch and can't get it to work.

How are you creating the bullet list? If you're using a standard text box, then the "By Highlighted Bullet" option doesn't come up for a Delivery method. You have to use one of the master slides that has a bulleted body placeholder. All of the supplied Keynote themes have a variety of master slides with bullets. Hope that helps.

I am trying to set up Sharing amongst several computers on my home network. I have followed all the setup instructions but after completion Sharing does not appear in my iTunes window (on any of the computers I've set up). There is no explanation why.

I have been trying to set up Sharing between two computers on my network. I did this once and it worked. However, when I try to set this up now the Sharing feature does not appear on the left side of the iTunes window (on either computer). There is no explanation as to why not. Is this a configuration problem, a network problem or what? Can it be fixed? I have tried turning sharing off and back on on both computers but to no avail. What am I missing? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
If, while searching through your past purchases, items are unavailable to download and show a "Purchased" button, they are still on your computer. It may be best to search your iTunes library by clicking Music, then use the search bar at the top right.
If you are completely sure the items are no longer in your library, try signing out of the iTunes Store, and then back in.
