Class xyz is not in the class path

When I used:
<jsp:useBean id="blast" scope="session"class="hr.pbf.pnf.castorblast2.BlastOutput"/>
(or other class) , I get an warning: "The class hr.pbf.pnf.castorblast2.BlastOutput" is not in the class path ???

Hi,
The possible reason could be that class is not present in project class path.
Check the following location to make sure the project is configured with source and required libraries
- Project > Properties > Java Build Path > Source Tab / Libraries Tab

  • IPhoto does not memorize the export path

    Hi,
I imported some photos into iPhoto. Now I want to export some of them, one after another into a specific subdirectory.
The subdirectory I want to export the photos into is like this:
       .../Pictures/Subdir1/Subdir2/Subdir3
The problem is that every time iPhoto exports a photo it starts in ".../Pictures" and does not memorize the whole path! Between the exports I don't close/quit iPhoto so that it could "forget" the path! I have to go through the subdirectories every time that is a pain!!
This is something that is usually working perfectly in many applications. The question is whether there is a way to make this strange application (in many aspects) keep track of the subdirectory I am working in?
    Thanks!!

    Thanks for your feedback!
Well, I don't know what is going wrong with my iPhoto, but I always have the same issue!
This application is generally a bit messy, like you cannot turn off the face recognition functionality, but that's another problem of me as user...
So, let's see whether there are any other ideas out there...
    Thank you again!!

  • Af:commandImageLink not processing the aboulite path for displaying image

    All,
We are required to display an image in the UI. The image is not stored in the deployed ear file. It is stored in the "*<DOMAIN_HOME>\Inventory\images*".
    Where DOMAIN_HOME=D:\JUPITER_CORONA\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\DefaultDomain\inventory
I would process an image absolute path in the af:commandImageLink tag as follows,
    *<af:commandImageLink "icon=file://D:/JUPITER_CORONA/system11.1.1.3.37.56.60/DefaultDomain/inventory/images/equipment.png" text"equipment" shotdesc="icon" />*
The problem is that the above tag is not processing the above mentioned absolute path and displaying text "icon" instead of actual icon image. As per the ADF documentation the tag processes absolute path as well.
Can someone suggest as to where I am going missing.
    regards,
    Chandra

I was not able to get what you want very well, the situation is a little bit un-usual,
but for solution I suggest the below way.
write a servlet/JSP that return the image (it is like copying the file, read the image from absolute path and send it to the OUTPUTSTREAM of the response aslo remember the MIME and the write filter for the jsp/servlet that end with .jpg or any extension for the image.)
then in the jsf page write the below code.
    <af:commandImageLink icon="/jspOrservlerpath/servlet/filename.jpg" text"equipment" shotdesc="icon" />
your servlet (get the filename.jpg and then find the file and return it)
this solution is very common for cases that the file is not available physically such as when you want to read it from another place(your case) or database.
    I hope this help you.
I can send you the source for the servlet/jsp if you want.

  • Ftp connection: "Can not find the catalog/path"

I have had a Webserver operating on my old IBook.
I had it opened through my firewall, and everything worked.
Now I try to connect to the same iBook, but with an IP-adress that comes from turning on
Internet sharing on the Ethernet port of my iMac. I try to connect in iWeb, ftp server test.
But the iMac I do things on, cannot find the catalog, it says. (At least the ftp login seems to work.)
I have things in the path /Library/Webserver/Documents, and started my 3rd
home page in the subdirectory iMe, which catalog I created inside the Documents folder.
    Thankful for all tips!
    Best Regards,
    /Peter K, Sweden

As per usual, do not compond problems, mix them and then cry for help. And iWeb is not involved, yet.
    Start at the beginning.
Set up your network and make it work. Period.
On the remote computer where you want to have access, and publish your website, enable Remote login.
Then test it and find out where you end up.
There you create a folder where you want to publish your pages.
Put a sampe html file in that folder.
In the /Library/Webserver/Documents folder on that remote computer you create a symlink to that folder.
Open your browser and type the URL to the file.
TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST
    UNTIL IT WORKS.
If you do not understand it, search the interwebs or find a forum that deals with it.
Then, when it works, and only then, you may open iWeb.
To publish to that remote folder you created earlier, choose this setting :
The directory path is determined earlier when you tested the connection.
    You can also use filesharing.
Enable it on the remote computer and then mount the remote disk on your desktop.
Choose publish to folder in iWeb.
    iWeb doesn't care.

  • LSMW - Logical File Path not pointing to Physical Path

    Hi All,
I'm trying to upload some MIGO goods movement transactions through LSMW.  I'm to step 7, specifying files, and am getting the error "No logical file path has been specified.  I saw another thread which helped me, but I am still stuck after reading it.
Re: Error in Creation of Purchase Requisition through LSMW
I have gone into transaction FILE and created the logical file name MM_GOODS_MOVEMENT, and set the physical file as the .lsmw.conv converted data file as the above thread says.  I also tried using the logical path LOCAL_TEMPORARY_FILES for the converted data, but I get the error telling me that the path does not point to a physical directory.  I then tried creating my own file path, and setting the path to my desktop where the source file is, and the same error occurred.
Does anyone know why it is not recognizing the physical path maintained in the logical path?
    Thanks,
    J

    Thanks for both replies,
I have full authorization across all transactions in the sandbox system I am working in, so that is not an issue.  I filled the logical path field in the MM_GOODS_MOVEMENT logical file with LOCAL_TEMPORARY_FILES, as well as trying my own created file path, and I recieved the same error for each.  Here is how the config is currently:
    Logical File Path Definition:  MM_GOODS_MOVEMENT
    Syntax Group: WINDOWS NT
    Physical path: C:\Documents and Settings\jchanski\Desktop\<FILENAME>
    or,
    Logical File Path Definition:  LOCAL_TEMPORARY_FILES
    Syntax Group: WINDOWS NT
    Physical path: C:\temp\<FILENAME>
    Logical File Name Definition: MM_GOODS_MOVEMENT
    Physical file: MM_MM_MIGO_INVUPLOAD.lsmw.conv
    Data format: ASC
    Applicat.area: MM
    Logical path: LOCAL_TEMPORARY_FILES or MM_GOODS_MOVEMENT
Do you see any error with this Brajvir?  Thanks!

  • How to get the full path of the fmx's directory.

    Hi all,
I will ship my project to a customer. So I must install forms runtime at the customer's machine.
I put all of the fmx files of my project into a certain directory at the customer's machine, and I create a desktop shortcut of the forms runtime. In the "start in" field of the shortcut property I put the full path of the directory where I put the fmx files. And in the target field of the shortcut property I put after the ifrun60.exe the name of the fmx file which to call first.
Now , in one of my forms file I want to get the full path of this directory because I must call Ora_Ffi.Load_Library. And the library which I want to load resides on that directory.
So how to get programatically the directory where the fmx files reside.
I know that there is the registry entry FORMS60_PATH, but we plan to ship many projects to that customer; so if I use the FORMS60_PATH variable then there will be an error because there will be many directories. And the customer can launch many of the projects at the same time.
    So how to get it.
    Thank you very much indeed.

If you are using the d2kwutil library, then you can use the win_api_environment.Get_Working_Directory() function.
If not, I doubt that there is anyway to get it since the get_application_property(current_form) does not return the full path of the form as it used to in prior versions of Oracle forms such as 4.5.

  • Why do Analysis VIs need the full path to lvanlys.dll?

I've noticed that all Analysis VIs contain the full pathname of the lvanlys.dll that is being called.  This means that the .lvproj file lists this fully qualified DLL filename as a dependency of the project.  This turns out to be an issue if the same project is opened in both 32-bit and 64-bit LabVIEW - the pathname changes from "Program Files (x86)/..." to "Program Files/...", and the project has a "dirty dot".  Some other VI libraries which also call DLLs located in the resource directory do not use the full path name (for example, the Vision VIs and the Wavelet Analysis VIs are two I noticed) and their dependencies are stored in the .lvproj file with the property "NI.PreserveRelativePath" set to "true".
Is there a reason why the full path is necessary, and if not, can it be removed?  I've also notice that VIs calling lvinput.dll and lvsound2.dll have a full pathname, but haven't tracked through to see which others also do, or do not.

    Hi,
Licensing and toolkit development are reasons for whether the full pathname is being used or the property "NI.PreserveRelativePath" is set to "true". There isn't a way to change it. Also, most toolkits will only work in 32-bit LabVIEW. According to this KB, as of 2009, NI Vision is the only toolkit that can be used in LabVIEW 64-bit. You maybe able to solve your dirty dot issue by mass compiling.

  • When opening a pdf in Firefox from a website, the navigation bar disappears. I would like to copy the URL path to send to staff.

Using Acrobat Pro XI, Windows 7-64, Firefox 25. If I open a PDF from a website link in IE, the PDF opens and I can see the URL path where I can copy it and send to others. Opening the same link in Firefox does not show the URL path. I get the File, Edit menu but no URL.

Is the PDF opening in a separate (popup) window? Sites can alter which bars appear on a popup window, but the address bar should always be visible (that's the default setting). Could you check and make sure that hasn't changed?
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''window_o''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) If the '''dom.disable_window_open_feature.<u>location</u>''' preference is bolded and "user set" to false, double-click it to switch it back to true so sites are disabled from hiding the location (address) bar on popup windows.
