Classical report field edit

Hi All,
I have written a classical report where my requirement is to provide edit for a particular field. For that i have declared as
WRITE: <FIELD-NAME> INPUT.
now i am able to edit this field but my requirement is to hold this field value at runtime untill i save it.
So,please let me know how to hold the value. Is it possible.

Hi All, need your help.
I am trying to have 2 classic reports on one page with edit fields like date, list values, text
I have noticed that the element indexes are the same f01_0001 have both first elements from both reports.
This is making my code go crazy.
Also i have a problem with Date Picker, if i select it as a column type for a first element in second report the icon shows up in the first report.
I think this is because of indexing, but... Classic Date Picker put the icon on second report but when i select the date, the values is populated to first column in first report
Does anyone have a solution for this problem! (for example change the indexing for second report)
DB is 11.2g

Hi experts,
For the component 'ICCMP_EMP_SRCH' there is a view 'BUPAEMPSEARCH' , which has 2 context nodes 'CUSTOMER' AND 'SEARCHEMPLOYEE' , i need to add the field 'NICKNAME' which is part of the 'CUSTOMER' context node on the search screen. Currrently all the fields on the screen screen are from the 'SEARCHEMPLOYEE' context node. when i did the configuration , the 'NICKNAME' field is greyed out . I have already generated the Getter ,Setter , GET_I, GET_M methods for the 'NICKNAME' field and the context node and controller class and context class are all active .
on debugging the GET_I method, i see that rv_disabled = 'TRUE' and the current = collection_wrapper->get_current( ) is returning empty value .
for this rv_disabled to be set false , the code below is not triggered since there is no value in current.

Hide Edit link conditionally in a classic report

Hi,
I am using Apex 4.1 and Theme 2.
I need help in hiding the Edit button for all those rows that has the "Active" field value set to 'N' in Classic Reports.
By the above means, i dont want users to be able to edit inactive records.
Each table and each report, I have the Active field but i dont know how to set this condition for the rows.
This field is there in many reports and many pages in the application and i need some solution to do this for all reports.

OOPs ALV report Fieldcatalog Editing a currency field

Hi all,
I have created an OOP's ALV report. I have made one of the currency field editable. when I am changing the value in any cell and go out of the cell(or move to other cell using arrow keys or click some were in the grid) it is taking '.' after 2 digits from the right.
for example if I take 10 it is converting to 0.10, if I take 100 it is becomnig 1.00, if I take 100.00 it is becoming 1.00. If I take 123.45 I am getting a pop up box with message "Too many decimal places"

The CURR field is the currency unit field in the table ITAB.
I am just confused with your answer. in my case the final internal table is T_CHKQTY1 shall I take that or anything else. I have taken WA_FIELDCAT-CTABNAME = 'CURR'. but the system is thrownig an error as The data object has no component with CTABNAME but there is a component called TABNAME.
Can you please currect me.

How to get add/edit button in classic report

Hi,
Iam trying to built a classic report,but here i need to have add/edit button.How can i achieve this in classic reports?
I know this add/edit button with a pencil on note will come through the interactive report.
But here iam trying to build a page same as the sample application Orders tab i.e. My Orders page.Here he created a classic report with alternating rows but has an add/edit button to it.How could that be achieved??
Can Anyone help me in this regard to built the My orders page including the add/edit navigation getting to order for items.How can tat sample application of My orders built?

One more doubt is

get all the modified entries and store them in an internal table and udpate them in to the required transaction or your custom table.

here u need to 2 performs for PF status and USER_COMMAND in the ALV parameters.
create a custom PF status and create push buttons and assign your ok codes in your PF status.

Create a ALV report with fields editable and entry to be saved in ztable

Hello Experts,
I have created the ALV report which has two of the fields editable. Now whenever user puts an entry in the ALV it has to be saved in the ZTABLE.
The report is displayed with editable fields but i'm not sure what has to be written in the 'USER COMMAND' subroutine to save the entries in ztable.

I have worked on similar requirement. You can do that on sy-ucomm value only and you have to call a FM and a method. For that end user has to click on a button which you need to create in the application toolbar. Say that button function code is 'SAVE'. Write the following code in your user command :

Sign for Quantity field in classical Report

Dear All,
As we know, in SAP, by default negative sign ('-') gets displayed after value. I want to display the negative sign before the value.
i.e. I want to display '1000-' as '-1000'.
I want this for classical report unsing WRITE statement.
Please suggest the syntax or formating option available or the way-out.

here is the format option:
report ztest.
Data: number type p decimals 2.
number = -12.
Write number using edit mask 'V__.__'.
Impüortant is the "V" at the beginning.

Calculated field in classic report

I am trying to editable columnin classic report and based on the values that users fill in that filed calculate value in another column. I have seen something similar on the forum but nothing really worked for me.
My report is based on sql query.

column3 from table
I want column2 to be updatable, and that column3=column2+column1

Querry regarding the classical report

I am developing a classical report for G/L account statement.
I hv kept Document No as a selection criteria.
In one particular document, der r three entries.....
one of G/L, Vendor and Customer.
Format is as follows....
Document No Fiscal yr Account No Short Text Debit amt Credit Amt
My query is I want to display the vendor code n customer code in the Account No. column wen evr the entry is 4 vendor n customer respectively.
For the G/L account it is displaying the right value......
but 4 vendor n customer it is displaying reconsilation acc. no.
Instead of which i hv to display the vendor code n customer code.
Plzzz help.....with the source code
