Classnotfound exception when locking account

Hi All,
thought I'd post this here. before heading to support.
I recently noticed that accounts are not getting locked after the number of failed logon attempts has been exceeded. what I am getting is....

The problem is located in your opencard.properties file:
You have to include opencard.opt.emv.mgmt.EMVCardServiceFactory to your list of OpenCard.services.
My complete opencard.properties is as follows:

I was trying to list the applications in the card with the codes in OCF1.2 programmer's guide, but got a ClassNotFound Exception. Here is my code:

The problem is located in your opencard.properties file:

ClassNotFound exception, when load own Customizer

I have own BooleanCustomizer that implements DescriptorCustomizer, it's packed in the same jar as entity classes. It's registered in persistence.xml:

Customizer works fine out of container - JUnit tests from Eclipse and Swing app. But in JSF app running on Tomcat, I get exception:
oracle.toplink.essentials.exceptions.EntityManagerSetupException Exception Description: ClassNotFound: [jpa.util.BooleanCustomizer]
It looks similar as:
class not found exception - where to put custom session customizer?
Any solution ?

Which version are you using? A change was made recently to TopLink essentials to correct a classloader issue on session customizers.

Osgi workflowprocess gives classnotfound exception when osgi bundle is activated

I did create an osgi service that extends workflowprocess interrface using eclipse. I install the bundle that contains this service and then deploy and activate the bundle in day cq. However, on activation I receive an error stating that my class is not found. Please note that both this service and the referenced service(twitterservice that I created) gets registered and the bundle is activated, however, its unable to find the class SendMessageProcessAction on the activation of the bundle. Hope someone could assist.

PcdRuntimeException: unexpected lock exception when locking

The following error is faced while re-arranging the iViews in a page of a workset and saving it.
"Could not save page com.sap.portal.pcm.admin.ValidationException:save()of PcmAttributeSet failed! commit failed, set rollback only com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PcdRuntimeException: unexpected lock exceptionwhen locking".
This error is faced only for this particular workset.
Please suggest us with the issue.

Check in system admin lock objects if anything is locked
Close all browser sessions and try again
If that does not help try clearing pcd cache please note it willbdegrade performance do it after proper approvals

WPF report viewer throws exception when print button clicked when hosted on winform

When hosted in a winform app the wpf report viewer control throws an exception when the print button is clicked.
All the other buttons appear to work, any ideas on a work round?

The reason I am attempting to use this control is that the standard reportviewer causes occasional errors in citrix enviroments causing the citrix session to lock up. This appears to be a relatively common issue and the usual issue of both sides (citrix & crystal) blaming the other for the cause and me the developer needs to find a work round.
I've 'bodged' in an additional button on our app to export a loaded report to file as pdf then print it but this should not be the permanent resolution.
BTW glad to see the x64 dynamic parameter issue has been fixed at last, think I reported this over two years ago and again ended up having to work round it.

The project is called WPFReportHost
This loads a simple report when run then you can test the basic functionality of the viewer and all will work until you press the print button and then you get the application crash.
Have to improve my search technique when I googled for other people having this issue I didnt' find the link.
We've noticed the WPF viewer loads considerably faster and has better functionality than the winform viewer and hope that it might solve the citrix preview issue (yet to be tested).
So as a work round we've hidden the default print button added our own and call the report print directly as per below:

SQL Exception: A lock could not be obtained within the time requested

Hi Friends,
In one of my processes there is an automatic activity which reads some records from an excel sheet and loads them in a separated array of objects and then for each object in the array it creates a copy using Split-N. There are about 2000 records read which takes about 3 minutes to process in Fuego Studio. But, when it comes to process Split-N activity, it takes pretty long time... keeps processing the for loop for about 15 mins and then I get SQL Exception: SQL Exception: A lock could not be obtained within the time requested (Details below). In the meantime it processes close to 950 records.
In order to resolve it I tried increasing timeout interval in Server Preferences to 2400 secs changig default 1200 secs but no results.
To my utter surprise none of the logMessages get logged until Split-N activity completes.
Can somebody please put more light on this and suggest if I'm doing something wrong?
FYI, I'm posting my Split-N code and the SQL exception details.

I have seen your two posts and there are something you need to notice:
Where the ClassNotFound exception you got? From deployment tool or
application server kjs process?
Of course, you need not to add supporting classes to each ejb jars or ears.
1. If you use deployment tool to package your application, I'm sure you'll
fail to resovle your classes without supporting classes added to jars.
Please select Edit->Preference,in Classpath entry, enter the supporting
classes(packaged to jar files) location. This should work.
2. After deploy to ias, please edit the registry using kregedit which you
described in your posts.

Classnotfound exception in Studio

I have this entity bean that I have deployed in weblogic. I am now trying to use
the studio to create a business operation from one of the Bean methods. When I
click on Configuration->Business Operations, I get a Classnotfound exception for
the beans remote class.
To get around this, I placed the bean jar file in the classpath in startweblogic.cmd
for the domain. After this the problem went away and I was able to create the operation.
Question is, is this the right way to have WLI find the class? Since I have deployed
this in weblogic, shouldn't it be able to find the class files? What is the recommended
way or am I doing something wrong.

I am just trying to configure my machine for Endeca Guided Search. I am the steps given in Oracle Endeca Guided Search Getting Started guide. The section i am referring to is :- "Configuring the sample application on a single development server".
1. I have run the deployment template deploy script - No error
2. Ran initialize_services script from the Endeca Deployment Template - No Error
3. To run a baseline update script on the Data Processing (ITL) server:

Checked the value of com.endeca.mdexRoot in eac.properties. It's C:\\Users\\Aditya\\Endeca\\MDEX\\6.2.2 , which is correct.
Not sure what else to check now. Because of the above exceptions, not able to verify the installation with the JSP reference application. Get the below exception when try to test using host: localhost and port:15000:

Can anybody pls tell me how to configure security policies like account locking,
account expiry in portal application? By default, it has a 30 minutes lock period
after 5 retries. But if I want to set other values or want to unlock account of
a user, then what to do ?

I have read the SSO admin guide, and performed the steps for enabling SSL on the SSO, and followed the steps to configure mod_osso with virtual host on port 4443 as mentioned in the admin guide.
The case now is that when I call my form (which is developed by forms developer suite 10g and deployed on the forms server which is SSO enabled) , it calls the SSO module on port 7777 using http (the default behaviour).
on a URL that looks like this :
http://myhostname:7777/pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls_login?Site2pstoreToken=.......
and gives the error :
( Forbidden
You don't have permisission to access /sso/auth on this server at port 7777)
when I manually change the URL to :
https://myhostname:4443/pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls_login?Site2pstoreToken=.......
the SSO works correctly.
The question is :
How can I change this default behaviour and make it call SSO on port 4443 using https instead ?
Any ideas ?

Java.lang.ClassNotFound Exception whenever I include .send()

Everything runs fine, but when I add the .send(message); [it is in bold] I get a java.lang.ClassNotFound Exception.
It still compiles, it just won't allow me to launch the program in the emulator. If I take that one piece of code out, everything runs fine again. I've been messing with it, and searching for a long time in an attempt to solve the problem but I've yet to come across a solution.

Sun Directory Server: Disabling and Locking Accounts

Folks,
Have some questions about disabling and locked accounts on Directory Server v5.2. Seems like a password policy would be the way to go, but these are my requirements:
1. Automatically disable accounts for that werent used (password expired) in the previous two calendar years.
2. Automatically, on a nightly bases, disable accounts for which a temporary password was not changed in 30 days.
How exactly can I configure this? Also, this is Sun ONE DS 5.2...running on Windows 2003. :)

Your goals seem to be good candidates for custom scripts. AFAIK, the password policy comes into effect only when a BIND is attempted. It's not designed to walk the entries and disable accounts.
