Clearing adjustments icon

If I want to clear all History and adjustments, I know I can "Clear All" on the History but how do I clear the "Adjustments" so the little icon on the filmstrip thumbnail image (+/-) "this image has adjustments" goes away, too?

The Lightroom Library module has more features and fewer bugs and works smoother than the Photoshop Elements Organizer. If face recognition is important, only the PSE Editor has that.
The PSE Editor has much more power than the Lightroom Develop Module; however you could use both, doing as much developing in Lightroom, and then sending the photo to the PSE Editor for more editing.
I guess the edits are saved unless something happens to Lightroom and the database gets corrupted or blown away.
This is an upsetting an somewhat misinformed statement. Any digital work, whether it is the Lightroom database, or your individual photos, or that Word document you created yesterday can get corrupted or "blown away". Lightroom is no different than any other digital media. The way you protect yourself is to make regular backups to a different physical media. With proper care, you should never lose your edits or your photos (yes, I know your house could get hit by a tornado, but that's an entirely different issue, and you protect yourself by having off-site backups).

  • How do I stop my MacBook clearing the icons off the desktop when I switch off

How do I stop my MacBook clearing the icons off the desktop when I switch off the machine?

    Hi Matt
After I create say a word document, file it on my desktop and then shut down my machine. The next time I open up the MacBook the file icon has been removed from the desktop. I can still retrieve the file in a folder labeled with the month I created it. But why has the OS removed it from the desktop and how can I stop it happening?
It happens to alias icons as well!

  • No longer able to clear Bookmark Icons

...using Cocktail or Onyx. Is this new to 3.0.4?
    Anyone else notice this?

    Cocktail does this...
Have you tried it (Cocktail 3.8.3) with Safari 3.0.4 in Tiger? The Bookmark icons are still there even after running Cocktail with "clear: Page Icons" checked.
Same with Onyx (1.8.3) and checking "Bookmark Icons" under "Delete" under the Internet tab in the Cleaning pane...
The icons remain -- unless it's just me --
    I'll try Tinker Tool next.
    Thanks,

  • HT1338 Hi, does anyone know how to clear a icon saying Microsoft Error Report?

Hi, Does anyone know how to clear an icon saying Microsoft Error Reporting?

Where do you see this icon?
What are you doing when the icon appears?

  • How do you clear history icons

Prior to iOS7 i could double click the bottom button on my ipad and clear all the icons running in the background...how do I clear those icons now?

Try again. If it still doesn't work try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button.

  • Missed calls - a missed call is shown on the screen when the phone is locked. I slide the icon an the phone calls the back to the missed number. The phone still show a missed no. It should clear the icon since I obviously noted the missed call. Any fixes?

Ok, a wish for the next iOS release, just a small anoying thing.
    Scenario:
I have a missed call, the screen is locked. The name of the caller shows up on the screen, I slide the phone icon and phone back.
When I've ended the call there is still a notification of a missed call, i.e. the same missed call that I just called back. To clear the missed call red circle icon on the phone icon (in the unlocked state and the notification on the locked screen) I must open the missed call list. Then it clears.
My wish is that the phone understands that it should clear that missed call after I returned the call since I have obviously noted it.
-> Is this something apple will update or is there a setting that I could change?
    /Erik

You have to return the call via the recent list or tap the red missed call entry in recent list otherwise even a hundred calls won't turn the balloon off.

  • How can I get rid of the "Clear Styling'  icon from RichTextEditor's history toolbar?

    Hi,
I'm a beginner in ADF and using (Jdev release 11.1.1.7).  I'm trying to use a RichTextEditor for simple editing work.
I need only the Undo and Redo buttons in the history toolbar.
How can I get rid of the third one (Clear Styling). Should be very easy, but just don't know how to access
    the individual toolbar buttons.
    Thank you very much..

  • Vocie mail icon won't clear

About 4 days ago, it wouldn't go away after deleting my new voicemail messages.  I have searched all of the menus and haven't found a way to clear the icon.  I even deleted all of my saved messages to no avail.  Anyone know how to clear the icon?

If you have an errant VOICE MAIL waiting icon on your home screen:
    * Call your voice mail and clear the message.
    * Call your BB from another line and leave a message. From you BB, call your voice mail and clear and delete your messages.
    * If the above fails, pull your battery to reset and reboot your BlackBerry.

  • Backup drive icons not cleared

Not sure whether this is a Time Machine problem or a Finder problem -- could not find any references in Discussions or Support.
The icons for "Backup of (my computer)" do not get cleared after each backup; as a result, I have an ever-growing list of these in the Devices tree in the Finder window. They cannot be clicked on to open or eject them. Running "ls /Volumes" in Terminal shows that there are no extra drives mounted under these names.
Anyone know how to get Finder (or whatever) to clear these icons when backup is done?

    Ken,
It seems to be normal for the first time you run Time Machine on the Time Capsule.
The next day, I did not have the disk image of the computer name nor did I even have the Time Capsule on the desktop. It does everything in the background after the first day.

  • Quick question:  clear jlabel contents holding icon

    Hi All,
I've been searching through the JLabel documentation and I've been trying to remove a JLabel's contents that displays an image.
// Here is the add code
    JLabel1.setIcon(myImage);
How would I remove/clear this icon? I've tried JLabel1.removeAll(), JLabel1.remove(), and even tried JLabel1.getComponentCount() but the component count returned as 0.
There's gotta be an easy one liner for this. Please help. Thanks!

Here's what the API documentation for JLabel has to say about setIcon:
    setIcon
    public void setIcon(Icon icon)
Defines the icon this component will display. If the value of icon is null, nothing is displayed.
The default value of this property is null.
    So the easy one-liner isJLabel1.setIcon(null);

  • How can I save my bin preferences so that the clip order isn't scattered in icon view every time I open it?

I've attempted to contact Adobe privately about this to no avail. They just sent me an email to let me know "we believe your issue is resolved and have therefore closed your case" but it isn't resolved. I want to open my bin and see my clips sorted in the order they are named without needing to reset the order preferences each and every time. I'm confident I could shave hours off of my edits with this as a saveable preference. Anyone have any work arounds?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the page that opens.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Try the action again. Post any messages that appear in the Console window – the text, please, not a screenshot.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.

  • Pen drive icon doesn't disappear

    Hi there,
I renamed a pen drive icon on desktop from "NO NAME" to another name by holding the mouse arrow on its name. Since then I cannot eject it.
I removed the pen drive and the icon is still there. Getting its info I see in the icon image area the rotating star looking for something continuously.
The icon is not listed in the finder.
    How can I remove it?

Sorry, I wrote the last message in a bit of a rush.
I had the same issue when I used MFE in that
I'd receive an email - resulting in the new messages icon.
I'd read the message on my remote system (and the read status would get synced to the phone), after which I could not get rid of the new message icon
In order to get rid of the icon you need to read an unread message, so my work around was to mark any message as unread (using the phone), then immediately read it, which cleared the icon.
It's been a while since I used MfE to I'm not sure what would happen if you also deleted the emails using outlook so that there were no messages at all in the inbox.

  • Service book icon - ATTN: cpt_Sweatpants, can you help?

Can someone help me?  I have a Curve, version 4.5.0.77, platform 3.2.0.51.  The service book icon has appeared on my home screen with the #2 beside it.  After reasearch, I went in to the Service book to "accept" so as to clear the icon, but all the Service book entries already have a check mark - none of them are waiting to be "accepted".  I have powered off and popped the battery with no result.  Any ideas??  Thank you.

Powering off your BlackBerry and removing the battery, reinserting really doesn't do anything.
Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
Once rebooted, if the service book notification still remains, check your main Messages folder. At the top of the message listing, press the U key to go to the first Unread message, and U again for the next, etc.

  • Badge on clock  icon

Why, after moving to iso 8 on my 5S, this there now a badge on my standard clock app icon?
It is showing 1 and nothing I try removes it!
(The phone has never been jailbroken)

I have the same issue.  I've tried removing all of my alarms, reinstalling ios8, and most recently updating to 8.0.2 and none of these have cleared the icon.

  • What is this icon???? Can't find it in any users guides

This icon is on my phone and I don't know what it is.  It is a black circle has an arrow pointing SW and on the arrow it has a red star.  It has a 1 beside it so I'm assuming it means I missed something as that is the area it is in where the missed calls show up.
    Hoping someone can help
    Thanks in advance

    Hi there,
That should be an icon indicating that you have an update to one of the apps you downloaded via BlackBerry App World.  To clear the icon, simply go to BlackBerry App World and sign into your My World.  You will see the update there.
    I hope that info helps!
