Hi All,

Compile Apps schema got errored out FAILED: file adinvset.pls on worker 1
Hi All,
While compiling the apps schema through adadmin i got the below error message
FAILED: file adinvset.pls on worker 1.
ATTENTION: Please fix the above failed worker(s) so the manager can continue.
i checked the worker log file below is the error message from worker log file:
Time when worker started job: Wed Mar 24 2010 18:11:45
Start time for file is: Wed Mar 24 2010 18:11:45
sqlplus -s APPS/***** @/u04/appldev/devappl/ad/11.5.0/admin/sql/adinvset.pls &systempwd 16 0 FALSE FALSE
Arguments are:
SYSTEM_password = *****, Total_workers = 16
Logical_worker_num = 0, Is_incremental = FALSE
Load_without_compile = FALSE
ERROR:
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
but we did not changed the apps password,i am able to connect both apps and system at sqlplus with out any issue,before running the adadmin all environment variables are set.
Please advice,Hi,
for password managment policy for the sys and system users for auditing purpose.
So we can not put the restriction for the sys and system users passwords containd atleast one alphabit,one number and one special charecter?You cannot, and according to the MOS document there is no workaround. You can simply change the system and sys passwords for now (with no special characters), and apply the patch then change the passwords back.
You could also log a SR to confirm with Oracle support if there are any workaround which is not published for public access.

If I specify a max of 512 or larger the server will not start.
The server has 2 Gig available.

Any thoughts?There are several entries for out of memory when running truss against the server start up script. They're posted below, but the server admin would like to know where he can obtain the 1.5.0_11 release for AIX. He said he couldn't find it anywhere.

I have a super quick question:
In a lot of sample Labview programs, I notice that the sub VI's are connected by the error out icons. For example, a simulate signal express error out is connected the graph that displays this signal by error in (with a pink wire). My program has no error out or error in connections wired yet my program runs fine. Does wiring these error out/in terminals create data dependecy? And is it a problem if my program doesn't have this data dependecy because it should?
Thanks
CamEven if you don't use them, include Error In and Error Out in all of your vi's to make wiring and data dependency easier. You can avoid using sequence structures by wiring Error In and Error Out in the order of execution desired. See top half of picture on how to pass the error straight through.
Also, you might not want to execute some code if there is an error. An example is readign from a file. If the file does not exist, how can you read from it? When opening the file, an error will occur since it doesn't exist (unless you specify create). In the read function, the error in determines whether to attempt a read or not. That way you are not creating a multitude of errors from one major error. See bottom half of picture.

XML Report Publisher program is erroring out
Hi All,
I've customized the AR Customer Statements.
I've created a data definition as "ARXSGP" and uploded the sample_output.xml of Statement Generation Program to it. Also I've created a Data template as "ARXSGPO" and attached the data definition "ARXSGP" to it and uploaded the customized rtf file "XXHCC_CLE_F_ARCUSBALSL.rtf" and set the default output type to PDF.
As I donot wish to call the XML Report Publisher program manually every time when I Print the Statements through Print Documents-->Statements.
So I've done the below customization in ARXSGP.rdf file ie; Print Statements Report which is an Oracle Report.
I've added the below code in After Report trigger.
=======================================
FUNCTION AfterReport
RETURN BOOLEAN
IS
BEGIN
Below code added for Customer Statement Case Study
DECLARE
l_req_id NUMBER := 0;
L_XML_LAYOUT BOOLEAN := TRUE;
BEGIN
L_XML_LAYOUT := FND_REQUEST.ADD_LAYOUT (TEMPLATE_APPL_NAME => 'AR', TEMPLATE_CODE => 'ARXSGP', TEMPLATE_LANGUAGE => 'en', TEMPLATE_TERRITORY => 'US', OUTPUT_FORMAT => 'PDF');
IF L_XML_LAYOUT THEN
srw.message(20001, 'Template is picked ');
srw.message(20002,'Concurrent request Id : '||:p_conc_request_id);
l_req_id := FND_REQUEST.SUBMIT_REQUEST('XDO',
'XDOREPPB',
NULL,
NULL,
FALSE,
:p_conc_request_id,
222, -- Receivables
'ARXSGPO', -- Statement Generate
'en-US', -- English
'N',
'RTF',
'PDF');
IF l_req_id > 0 THEN
COMMIT;
ELSE
srw.message(20004, 'Failed to submit request');
END IF;
ELSE -- Not L_XML_LAYOUT
srw.message(20005, 'Template is not picked ');
END IF;
END;
--------------------Code Ends----------------------------
SRW.USER_EXIT('FND SRWEXIT');
RETURN (TRUE);
END;
==============================================
After Printing the Statements through Print Documents-->Statements
Statement Generation Program is being called and later XML Report Publisher program is also being invoked.
But the XML Report Publisher Program is erroring out with below error.

Program is erroring out in production system due to transport being missed
hey,
we are having a issue where program is erroring out in production which works perfectly fine in dev. we are guessing because of transport is being missed to move to production.
what is the best solution.
is there way in SAP where we can overwrite a whole program with a current program in dev using a transport so that program will contain latest code. how to create such transport. i created using write a transport entry option in se80 where i recreated a workbench request transport which errored out as welll. what are other options.
thanksRamakrishna
Looks like this is for the tax line (based on the fact that it is trying to update the link_to_line_id). The issue seems to be from the duplicate interface_line_attributes for the two different lines.This leads to this query returning more than one row for the tax line when it is trying to update.
For two different lines, make one of your interface_line_attributes (in this query I see 1, 13, 14, 15) unique.
Thanks

Receiving Transaction Manager concurrent program errors out with INACTIVE, NO Manager
Hi,
We have an R12.1.3, 2-node (1 node Apps, 1 node DB) ERP system on Sparc 64, Solaris 10 Machines.
All the concurrent managers including Standard Manager and Receiving Transaction Manager are running fine.
When we are running the concurrent program Receiving Transaction Manager(RCVTPO), it errors out with Inactive No Manager error.
I am not being able to find any errors in the log files of CM or DB.
Could someone help me resolve this error. Its kinda urgent
Thanks.
MuneerPlease see the solution in (PODAMGR And RCVOLTM Inactive And Cannot Be Started (Doc ID 726158.1)).
Are there any errors in the database log file?
If the above didn't help, please run cmclean.sql and ccm.sql scripts.

I bought Adobe Design & Web Premium CS6 from an online store. I try to install the program but it pup out said to Adobe support manager. I try to key in the serial number but always fail. Could you tell me what should I do? Thanks!
using Google to read reviews, I would not buy from that site Google
added... click the google link I provided and do some reading about that site
When you buy from another site instead of direct from Adobe you need to check first to be sure the site is an authorized reseller (such as Amazon)
You are now going to have to get support from the place you bought if the serial number you were given by that site does not work
