Code works fine while debugging only

Hello,
I have written code which creates un-encrypted file using GUI_DOWNLOAD than encrypt file using execute method of cl_gui_frontend_services, this creates two files one encrypted file & another without encryption.
After this I'm deleting un-encrypted file using file_delete method of cl_gui_frontend_services.
This works perfect in debugged mode while i run the program without debugged, It is failing to generate any file.
Also in that case y sy-subrc is also not changing.

  • MySQL query works fine for Debug mode not during regular run mode

    Hello fellow Java gurus,
    I'm very much confused at the moment. I have an Java application that populates and accesses a MySQL database. It's a little complicated to explain but basically I've got a few threads that manipulate it. The database itself can handle multiple client connections.
    Now, my first SQL query determines whether records exist within a particular timeframe, since one of my columns is a time of arrival (toa). This works fine in debug and normal run mode. My second SQL query is only executed once the first query returns true, which occurs 100% of the time. The second query is very similar, however, has the very weird behaviour of working the way I want it during debugging mode, but doesn't work at all during normal run mode. I really do not understand. I've tried running the 2nd query using the same connection and also a different connection as to the 1st query but it really doesn't make a difference to the non-working outcome.
    If anyone has any ideas as to as to why this is happening, please help me. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I am desperate at the moment.
    Kind regards,
    Mitch.

    Sorry everyone, I've been able to solve it. My boolean variables were being set to their opposite values! Silly me.... cheers anyway....

  • Airport express worked fine now shows only constant amber light ?

    airport express worked fine now shows only constant amber light ?

    A solid amber light indicates that the AirPort Express cannot get out of startup mode.....likely because of a power supply issue within the device.
    Try a Factory Default Reset as a last resort to see if that might help. To do this....
    Power off the AirPort Express and wait a minute or two
    Hold in the reset button on the Express first, and keep holding it for 9-10 seconds while you simultaneously plug the Express back into power
    Release the reset button after the hold period and allow a full minute for the Express to restart
    At this point, if the Express is operating correctly, the amber light will be blinking slowly and you can reconfigure the Express again.
    If the amber light remains solid after a few reset attempts, the internal power supply on the Express is faulty and the device will need to be replaced.

  • Why did my external HD monitor go blank after working fine while hooked up to a new MacBook Pro?

    Why did my external HD monitor go blank after working fine while hooked up to a new MacBook Pro? I have the Moshi adapter and HDMI hooked up to the 27 inch monitor. It was working fine and when I came back after lunch the monitor was blank but the MacBook Pro screen was fine. Could it be the adapter?

    could be, try powering down the mac, with the exmonitor connected and see if it is recognized

    Need some more info as to where this is installed and how.
    First thing to try would be to uninstall the solution and reinstall.
    Check the GAC for your assembly as well as web.config.
    If you don't see it in one of those places, something went wrong with the install and you'll need to start over.

  • How come IE works fine while Firefox crashes and hangs constantly

    IE works fine while Firefox opensn 1 web page then hangs, crashes when trying to access "source", does not render Windows Media Player content, update to 3.6.9 hangs in eternal download mode, then frazzles, on Windows XP with AMD processor and Firefox 3.6.8.

    I'm assuming SI_ID=716 is the Inbox where you're sending the objects.
    The issue is that you're not clicking the "Step Over" button fast enough when debugging.  If you click really fast, then you'll get the same issue.
    Workaround for the non-debug case is to count the number of objects you're sending, then when moving, loop till the InfoStore query retrieves the correct number of objects.
    You're not giving enough time for the Destination Job Server to send the objects to the Inbox - they're not there yet.
    Sincerely,
    Ted Ueda
    Edit:  I see you've identified the issue as well - note that the CMS job scheduling thread triggering interval isn't under programmatic control, so I'd still recommend loop-count-wait workflow.

  • Why does my javascript code work fine in all other browsers, but not Safari

    Previously, I have asked how Safari handles javascript trying to resolve a problem with a slide menu, (http://www.designoutput.com/testslide.html) being directed to validator. I have corrected as many things as possible and still have code work in other browsers. Why will my code work in all other browsers (IE 5.2, Firfox, Netscape, and Opera) and not Safari. It appears that Apple would address some of the problems that people are listing. Possibly, my problem is not with Safari, but my code, if so why does it work in all other browsers. Having more knowledge of how Safari accepts code or handles code differently than other browsers would be helpful. It would be nice if I could debug my code in Safari step by step to know where the problem is at. I'm just frustrated with Safari after working on my problem for over a month. Would be very greatful to anyone that could just being to get my code to appear in Safari (only a blank page in Safari, menu appears in all other browsers)

    correct:
    document.write(<font...><b>example</b></font>)

    the ilayer tag should only be in your NS (i.e. not NS6) code, but it too needs to be closed.

  • C# SCOM SDK agent install works fine from debug mode but disconnects when built from installer

    My team is writing a C# application that installs SCOM agents on the fly. I used the code in :
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh329037.aspx
    as a template. Which works fine and will consistently install agents when I run it in debug from Visual Studio. But when I build an installer (using InstallShield), calls to:
    "AgentTaskResult results = adminServer.InstallAgents(agents, configuration);"
    always result in a Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Common.ServerDisconnectedException. The agent install even shows up in pending management on the SCOM server (but this sits in pending management forever and is never processed). Calling managementGroup.Reconnect();
    and retrying the agent install still results in a ServerDisconnectedException. The application has no problem doing other things with the managementGroup object (from debug or running from an installer). It can create MonitorConfigurationOverrides and
    gets events out of an outbound connector. So it seems like the disconnect problem is localized just to agent install requests.
    I looked in the Windows Event Log and found an OpsMgr SDK Service Error:

  • Works fine in debug but not when published

    So I have simple navigation code setup to step through frames (I'm using Flash instead PowerPoint--too many pictures that are PSDs and illustrations that are AIs to do the conversions over to something PowerPoint understands).
    The code:
    stop();
    stage.addEventListener(KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN, slideNav);
    function slideNav(event:KeyboardEvent):void
    switch (event.keyCode)
      case Keyboard.DOWN:
       nextFrame();
       break;
      case Keyboard.UP:
       prevFrame();
       break;
      case Keyboard.HOME:
       gotoAndStop(1);
       break;
      case Keyboard.END:
       gotoAndStop(this.totalFrames);
       break;
    When I test it using the debug (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) it works fine.  When I publish it, the up and down arrows work but the Home and End keys do not work.  They do nothing, no error messages, nothing.
    Using Flash CS4 Pro 10.0.2.  ActionScript 3.  Windows 7 64-bit.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Nevermind.  That was stupid of me.  Have to disable the keyboard shortcuts or it doesn't work.

  • Real-Time Application doesn't run; source code works fine

    The short version is I'm programming a cRIO and apparently the RT code isn't running after being deployed and I can't figure out why. This is further complicated that I'm doing all this remotely and I don't have direct access to the unit since I'm 500 miles away. I'm working through a couple of other guys who know some LabVIEW, but neither works at the site so they have to explicitely travel out there every time I have a bright idea.
    I was out there a few weeks ago. During this time I created a simple cRIO code, since I'm new to cRIO, that allowed the user to move a control and change a graph. It worked fine, but I should note it did not have an FPGA component. After that I worked on the real code, which reads some sensors, displays the results on a UI and logs the results. This did have FPGA. I used it in the LabVIEW environment and it worked fine, but I ran out of time before I could complete a release version and deploy the RT as a compiled application. I sent them the release version later, my contact deployed it but got network stream errors when running the UI.
    After hours of looking at network problems and sending over debug versions, I tried creating a log on the RT level so I could see what was going on. The log doesn't even open, even if it's the first command in the code. I pored through the forums and found http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/cRIO-Troubleshooting-creation-and-deployment-of-startup/td-p/1956475... which took me in a new direction.
    I had my contact use the RT debug console and when he pulls up the RT front panel, it shows a broken run arrow. He clicks it and nothing happens -- no running, no bug list. If he pulls up the bug list manually, it's empty. Again the RT works fine if you run it through LabVIEW and not as a compiled real-time application. He also noticed that the Open FPGA VI was grayed out on the block diagram. No other icons are.
    So the problem appears to be that the compiled RT application is getting some kind of error but not telling me what it is, and it seems to be related to opening the FPGA. I've recompiled the FPGA and RT. I've had him recompile the RT himself, but not the FPGA because it would take hours. He's downloading everything correctly to the cRIO. The RT is set to run automatically. He's rebooting the cRIO every time he deploys the RT. They have LabVIEW on a computer there but it doesn't have the right drivers to run the code from the LV environment. I'm resisting having them install the dirvers because downloading big files is complicated there due to security restrictions and a lousy network connection at a remote site. Besides that doesn't solve the problem of the RT executable not running the same as the source code, which according to the thread above appears to be a thing.
    The latest thing I'm trying is that I sent him instructions for how to build a source distribution from the project I sent and try deploying that to the cRIO. Even if that works I'm not sure that's an acceptable solution because I assume running the VI rather than the EXE is slower, and they need speed on this project.
    I simply have no idea where to go from here. I probably need to get direct acess to the cRIO and I might be able to convince them to ship it to me so I can figure this out, but I'm not sure where I'd even start other than the standard voodoo debugging of "try stuff at random until something works". I'm open to suggestions if anyone has managed to solve this before.
    Code snippet of the first part of the project is attached, though I'm not sure how much good it will do. I'm really stumped and the client is getting frustrated with how much of the budget is going to fix this.
    Solved!

    Have you checked the cRIO error log? Usually I'd access it through the LabVIEW project (right-click on the target, don't remember the exact menu options and I don't have the RT toolkit installed on this machine to check), but it must be stored somewhere on the cRIO as well, although I don't know if it's in a human-readable format.
    Which cRIO are you using? What exactly do you mean by "debug console"? (This may be related to the cRIO - the newer ones have video out, although I don't know if that's what you're referring to.) With a broken run arrow, you won't get an error list unless you're running in the development environment.
    Have you confirmed that the software installed on the cRIO matches the version you're using for development, including patch level? Get someone to connect to the cRIO with Measurement and Automation Explorer, and get a list of the software installed on the cRIO.
    Sounds like the ability to connect with a remote debugger would be helpful here, if you can get the right drivers installed on the machine with LabVIEW that's connected to the cRIO. Make sure all driver versions match what you're using. Any chance you could then do a remote desktop connection from your work site to the remote LabVIEW machine?

  • Bar Code works fine in one App Svr, but does NOT work in identical server?

    We use the FREE3OF9.TTF bar-code to generate bar codes. We tested on this http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/7c901bc198.gif development environment and it works fine.
    Problem is, when we install the font and report in the live environment, which is IDENTICAL to the above dev. environment the bar-code does not appear. Only the number appears.
    If you change another font in the report and deploy, the report shows the new font in the live env., but only the bar-code font it does not pick up.
    I even tried font sub-setting in the app server but even that failed.
    In the app server the bar code is displayed if you use it in Wordpad.
    Problem is the App Server does not pick up ONLY the bar-code font (all other fonts it picks up)?
    What could be the issue?

    Hello
    have you rebooted the Windows server ?
    by default , the Reports Server is running as a Windows Service and Windows Services inherit resources defined at the boot.

  • E1200 Working Fine but DHCP only shows two of four connected

    Would appreciate a bit of educating.  My router is connected sucessfully with two computers via ethernet, one printer by ethernet and one Nexus 7 by WiFi.  However if I check Status | Local Network and click DHCP Client Table, I only find the two compujters identified.  Printer is no where to be seen but working fine on 121.168.1.140 and Nexus is working fine via WIFI butagain not shownn.  Tried to give them their static addresses but that killed so game up.  Been coding for years but obvioulsy know nothing about networking - appreicate and offereings.
    Ed

    Don't go crazy over this. The explanation is simple: it's a firmware bug.
    I've had this happen countless times. Sometimes devices do not appear at all in the DHCP Client List, but more often, they disappear misteriously from the Wireless Client List (accesible from the Wireless MAC Filter page) even when they are connected. If you want to make sure what's connected to the router at a given moment, it's best to perform a power-cycle before checking.
