Coding "Add to favorites" links for Macs

We recentely got our iMac and I noticed that the "Add to Favorites" link on my web site doesn't work when I'm using Safari. The link worked, and still works, when I use IE. Is there a different Java code that I need to use for bookmarking links on a Mac, or is there no way to bookmark pages without using a keyboard short-cut or the Bookmarks menu?

It would appear that only Internet Explorer can make use of the JavaScript to achieve this:

I'm not sure why the other browsers don't allow it, but I'd guess it's a privacy measure to prevent unscrupulous websites from automatically adding bookmarks to your browser.

Thanx for this. I was also looking for the same. I will check this out and see if it is working for me.
I have few queries:
1) Changing this will update all the iView/page toolbars of portal..right?
2) Can we include some more property in the Options of the iView toolbar such as a "mailto" link or something as "Feedback" which wil open up the Mail Client.
Or something else, basically any new link with some functionality associated?
3)I did the same kind of modification of changing the properties files on the appintegrator PAR file where it shows the message of "No Usermapping done.." if you havent done the UserMapping for a System and then trying to access the iView based on appintegrator...uptill here.its OK..i can modify the text to display my custom Text. But my req. is that can i display formatted Text here?
Such as a messge in 2 lines or some bold word etc. If i press enter in the message,it still appears in a single line and with \n\t...\n\t also gets displayed

I put my old acrobat back onto my machine (from a backup made before reformatting) but it wants the box serial number. when I did that however, the replacement CS2 photoshop, etc, wouldn't work, so I had to install it again, but then, you guessed it - acrobat won't work again.

Disable auto-favorites link for Photo Stream

I recently started using iCloud Control Panel and to my surprise the program added a link to the photo stream to my favorites. I don't want that so I removed it, only to see it get set back as soon as I reboot my PC.
I hate this and I can't seem to find an option to disable the favorites link without having to disable the whole feature.
This is a (cut out) screenshot of what link I mean. It's under Skydrive.
Any suggestions on disabling this? Or is it a no-go and am I better off removing the tool completely?

If you are using separate AppleIDs with iCloud, you cannot share your main photo streams, but can create "Shared Photostreams" on each of your iPhones and regularely add the contents of your camera roll to the "Shared" stream. These streams can be imported on your iMac in iPhoto or Aperture, or viewed in the web.

Adobe used to have (discontinued a year ago) a program for printers called ASN whereby we could purchase and download all the latest versions and updates for the full suite CS4 for 2 Macs and 2 PCs at a very reasonable price. We could only download; they did not send box sets. Suddenly all Mac CS4 applications crash on our Mac. Adobe says they no longer support CS4 and won't acknowledge a place to download from their site (of course we have serial number). The other issue is that we are still running Mac OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger) on a non Intel Mac so an upgrade to CS 5.5 will not run on our computer.
Does anyone know where we can find a download of the full CS4 for Mac on the Adobe site? We paid Adobe and feel we should have access to what we paid for. Thanks in advance.

They go in <your hard drive>->Library->Application Support->Adobe->Photoshop Elements->9.0->Photo Creations->photo effects. After installing them, you need to delete mediaDatabase.db3, which is in Library->Application Support->Adobe->Photoshop Elements->9.0->Locale->en_US (or your location).
If you're using lion you will need to go to the Go menu>Computer to find the library folder.

I haven't bought from this company myself, but my (very skeptical and conservative) brother-in-law bought Microsoft Office 2010 Professional from them for only $96, and during the installation process it went to the "Genuine Microsoft" license verification website which passed it as a valid license and registered it.
Don't know why their prices are so low, but they seem legit.

Unable to download BB Link for Mac.

I have been trying to download the newest version of BB link and have been unable to. The download just stalls and never gets past 30% done. I have tried restarting my computer, different browsers still nothing. I deleted the old version of link off my computer because not matter what I tried I could not get RFA to work on my Z10 which has the lastest software update from Rogers. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
