Compare / Difference tool by Oracle or third party

Is there any tool or option available using which I can compare the data/table existing in my Oracle database (on-premise) to the data/tables in my Oracle Cloud DB instance. I have tried SQL Developer with the ‘Database Difference’ option, but it just let me compare my local Oracle DBs and doesn’t list the Cloud DB under the source/destination drop down list. I have also the same with the Red-Gate tool for Oracle but that too didn't result in success.

The issue with other tools (and SQL Developer) is that you can only access the Database Cloud through RESTful Web Services, not SQL*Net, so access has to be specifically implemented for these tools. We already did some of the work for SQL Developer, which is why you have some capabilities with Cloud Connections, but we are moving towards full (within the limits of security lockdowns) SQL Developer support. I can't speak for the other tools, but since SQL Developer is in the same development organization as the Database Cloud, I would think it would hit there first.

We need to access SAP's Oracle database with third party tool with the help of dsn creation. For that we need to create 2 staging tables and need a new segment for these tables. Our data will move from SAP transactions to these 2 tables and we want to fetch this data via dsn into another third party S/W.
I am unaware of such kind of working, can you please help me how to create new segment and how to create dsn for accessing tables in this segment.
Our requirement is as follow.
The staging tables are required in the SAP database with user name and password. The user should have all access to the staging table only.
Requesting your kind help on this issue. Please suggest for further processing of activity.

Common way to integrate SAP (database) with third party Application is to use and implement SAP Connector (Java or .Net).
Using this, you can fetch the data from SAP database to use it in Third party application.
As per my understanding the method you mentioned, will void the SAP database license term.
So Please check before doing such configuraiton. Also that method is NOT recommended..

Sending data directly from BW To Oracle DW via Open hub Third party tools

We need to send data from SAP BW 7.0 to Oracle 11g DW. The requirement is to pass data through open hubs. So we wanted to explore the option of directly passing the data from BW to Oracle using third party tools. So i tried to gather information on the third party tools and came across list of APIs and some pointers on creating a RFC through SM59. But dont know how to do it or what parameters to pass. Could you please point me in the direction or list me step by step detailed instructions as to how I can achieve this?

If you wan to achieve monitoring from technical perspective, the way that was introduced by shivjansi might be the option.
If you want to check the entry of specific table in stand alone MSSQL to ensure the business process that use MSSQL
stand alone DB, you can use BPMon remote DB monitoring that enables monitoring of non ABAP/ non SAP that supported
by netweaver like MSSQL, Oracle, DB2.
By using this function, you can monitor the entry of your stand alone SQL server.
For example, stand alone SQL Server has some table that contains some error,
or there is application table and in one row that it indicates error or completeness.
Now if you want to check these error document or incomplete document in the DB,
you can use BPMon remote DB monitor.
By monitoring this, you can ensure whether there is issue in your business or not.

CCMS is the best way to monitor your SAP applications, SAP has introduced lots of things to encourage use of CCMS for system monitoring. You can Install agents to monitor your systems. If you have a CEN system (SOLMAN) then you can Install agents in all the satellite systems and monitor all the satellite systems from CEN. You can also monitor the availablity of the satellite systems from CEN using CCMSPING agent.
For checking the Performance of the system if you have only ABAP stack then you can use ST03N where you can get the graphical representations as well. For JAVA stack you can use Eclipse which is a tool from SAP.

Hmm.. program code a can be a third party tool, but what you describe is normally not called a tool, but rather a third party library.
Lets have an example.
Lets say that I'm building an IDE, and with my IDE I also deliver Ant and JUnit. Both Ant and JUnit are tools that haven't been developed by me, they are third party tools.
When I develop my IDE I want others to be able to write addins/plugins for it. So I provide an API that lets other call functions within the IDE.

IDOC to XI Third-party

Scenario : IDOC to XI to Thirdparty. ASYNCHRONUS.
Keeping the above scenario I know that we can achieve this without a BPM, but having the BPM serves the following important points from my experience
1) Exceptions, Alert and Cancel Process can be executed thru the BPM
2) If we want to Bundle the IDOCs then BPM can take care.
3) Initially, if we dont use the BPM and in the later stage if we want to use the BPM, then we need to reconstruct the Directory components fully. So, when we develop this interface, construct with the BPM, that will receive the IDOCs from R/3, do the Message Transformation and then send to the Third Party.
Am I in the correct direction? Whether it will affect the Performance ?If you have any additionl points please educate me . Thanks

there are so many ways of improving the BPM's
performance...
the best way is to set up the test scanatio as soon as possible and then use a test tool
(like loadrunner from mercury) and start testing
and optimizing
that's the proper way of doing such scenarios
if you follow this guideline I'm sure
you won't be surprised with the performance
on the production server
you can also create test scrips (catt)
you don't have to use third party tools
but with many third party tools it may be much easier
to achive

sd pepole has recived a sales order for material x
but in the sales order they have mentined the item category as TAS so by doing this the moment they save the sales order system will genrate a requisiton automatically with the account assignement category as third party so now it is th ejob of the mm pepole to convert that pr into po and that po is know as the third party po and when u do the dummy gr for this po then system will nto ask for the sloc as there is no stock updation for the po

We are using 11.5.9. I haven't used finance modules so far.
We are having a third party software which has different modules like Inventory, Sales, POS, Purchase, Payables, Receivables etc.
We would like to have the inventory/Sales/POS/Purchase details in oracle AP. For these, what are all the things to be considered like the below one:
1) COA between oracle and third party software should be matched.
2) Customers id and supplier id defined in oracle apps should be matched with third party software. If not matched, how can we map these to the previous data?
3) What are all the APIs to be used in order to pull data from third party software into oracle payables.
4) How can we export data from oracle AP into third party software? I mean, is there any basket where we can put our oracle AP data, so that this would be pulled by third party software.
Like these, I would like to know , Is there any points/consideration to be noted before doing interface.

Why would you spend money to purchase a third-party tool that will be, almost by definition, less secure than the tools inside the product you already own and paid for?

Oracle Third Party Backup tools

What are some third party backup programs that people are using with oracle these days? Also when using third party backup tools, do these tools shutdown the database while backing up? Does the Archive Log mode need to be enable as well? Not big on Oracle so simple answers would work.

If the database is the source of the problem, Oracle support is happy to help diagnose and resolve the problem, though you may need to provide a test case that doesn't involve the third party tool. It's certainly not a violation of any license agreements to use a third party tool unless you allow the tool to do something you're not allowed to do (i.e. access the AWR repository if you haven't licensed that access).

Faxing from Oracle EBusiness Suit with XMLP-Do i need any third party Tool?

We are having Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2 on Sun Solaris 5.8. We want to do faxing from our E Business Suit. I gone through the BLOG Entry for Faxing,where i found that i need to install CPUS. Can I installed CPUS on SUN Solaris? In the BLOG posted By TIM, it's wriiten there, that it can be installed on LINUX or UNIX only. Is there any way to installed it on SUN Solaris?
What is efax 0.9 software mentioned in user guide p.no. 11-38 for installing and setting up fax for CPUS.
Do i need any third party tool to do faxing from Oracle E-Business Suite.
OR if i am using XMLP for faxing then, it will take care of all the things, no need for any third party tool.
We are having XMLP 5.0.1 which comes by default with E-Business Suit 11.5.10.2.

SunSolaris is a flavor of UNIX so you can install and may even already have CUPS, get it to the latest version you can.
The efax soluition is an open source 'driver' if you will to enable faxing via CUPS.
You will not need anything else to do faxing from apps ... just cups and efax and your fax board of course.
