Concurrent program no putput with Japanese language

Hi Guru,
I cannot see the concurrent program output when i run it htrough Japanase language.
But able to see the putput in English langauage.
Could any one help me.
RDBMS : 10.2.0.3.0
Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2
Thanks.

Hi,
Could you check the log file of the output post processor (you can find it with system administrator resp, application manager under the view log of the output processor process).
Probably there you will find a java exception with the reason for the warning
Hope it helps

  • Receiving Transaction Manager concurrent program errors out with INACTIVE, NO Manager

    Hi,
    We have an R12.1.3, 2-node (1 node Apps, 1 node DB) ERP system on Sparc 64, Solaris 10 Machines.

  • Having problems creating a zip file with Japanese language character names

    I have a bunch of files with names in Japanese characters (also Chinese, Korean, Spanish etc, but this will do for an example). The encoding is Unicode.
    I wish to be able to put them in a zip file, then extract them again using any old zip tool (WinZip,PKZip,7-Zip etc)
    Trouble is, every time I do it, the files inside the zipfile end up with garbage character names. The contents of the files are fine, though.
    I'm aware that there used to be a bug in the java.util.zip.* classes regarding character encodings (http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do;jsessionid=5bd4fe01ad8a7b4ec89afef5005da?bug_id=4244499) but as far as I can see it's supposed to have been fixed I have also tried the ZipOutputStream class from apache which allows you to set the encoding manually - no luck there either (just many different varieties of garbage characters)
    Test code below. What am I missing here?
    import java.io.File;
    import java.io.FileOutputStream;
    import java.io.FileReader;
    import java.io.IOException;
    public class ZipTest {
    static String uniqueFileName = "西 純.txt";

    } catch (IOException fe) {
    System.out.println("problem in file - exception " + fe.getMessage());
    public static void apacheZip() throws IOException {
    String encoding = "";
    File inputFile = new File(uniqueFileName);
    FileReader reader = new FileReader(inputFile);
    encoding = reader.getEncoding();
    System.out.println("Using Apache - Encoding = " + encoding);
    File zipFile = new File("apacheZip.zip");
    org.apache.tools.zip.ZipOutputStream zipOutputStream = new org.apache.tools.zip.ZipOutputStream(
    zipFile);
    zipOutputStream.setEncoding(encoding);
    org.apache.tools.zip.ZipEntry zipEntry = new org.apache.tools.zip.ZipEntry(uniqueFileName);
    zipEntry.setSize(inputFile.length());
    zipEntry.setTime(inputFile.lastModified());

    int c = 0;
    while (c >= 0) {
    c = reader.read();
    if (c >= 0) {
    zipOutputStream.write(c);
    zipOutputStream.closeEntry();
    zipOutputStream.finish();

    File inputFile = new File(uniqueFileName);

  • Can't access parameter of java concurrent program

    I'm trying to access a parameter value in my rtf template from the PO Output for Communication program, which is a java concurrent program. In my template I put a field with:
    <?param@begin:P_report_type?>
    but when I reference the parameter using $P_report_type it is not populated with the value passed to the program. Does param@begin work with a java concurrent program, or only with an RDF?

  • Concurrent Program outputs gettting merged

    Hi,
    We are facing a strange issue in our EBS 11i instance where the output of one concurrent program is getting merged with another program output.(i.e output of financial concurrent programs get merged with HR/Payroll concurent program output and vice versa). This is not hapeening foe all the programs but only hapeens for few specific programs.
    Has anyone faced this issue previously or can highlight the cause for this abnormal issue.
    Regards,
    Rupdipt

    Is this a cloned instance? Have you reviewed the contents of the output files to verify none of those output files from the source instance?
    If the above doesn't help then I would suggest logging a SR.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • Japanese Language Support for Jolt

    Hi All,
    We are facing a problem with Japanese language support for
    Jolt 1.2. Our present system configuration is as follows:
    Win 95 (Japanese) Client (using ASP) -> Win NT Japanese Webserver
    -> Tuxedo 6.4 (japanese) on HP-UX -> Oracle 8.0.5.
    Without Jolt, our system is running fine. But with ASP web connectivity,
    Jolt is returning garbage characters for the Japanese fields. We
    believe that this is because Jolt java classes will support only
    ISO_8895_1 encoding (?) while the
    one we want in our front end is Shift_JIS.
    Has anyone already written a wrapper class to get around this?
    Or is there a more elegant solution? Any sample code would be greatly
    appreciated.
