Contribute rewriting urls with "|" in them

We have the following code in a template:
<a href="*|UNSUB|*">Unsubscribe From This
List</a>
And upon publish, Contribute rewrites it to either:
<a href=*/UNSUB/*">Unsubscribe From This List</a>
...switching "|" for "/" if it's not in an editable area, or
it rewrites it to:
<a href="*%7CUNSUB%7C*">Unsubscribe From This
List</a>
...if it is in an editable area
Is there any way to prevent this?

Have you tried using a SSI (f.i. PHP: <?php
include("file.inc.php"); ?> )

  • Rewriting URLs with .NRY

    Sorry I am not exactly sure what to choose with the options above.
    I was using ISAPI Rewrite but I think that is causing some issues.
    I was recommended URL Rewriter[ but I am not comfortable with web.config
    The rewrite is something like:
    RewriteRule /e-commerce /e-commerce.asp [I,U]
    So that when someone goes to
    www.example.com/e-commerce.asp - the URL is www.example.com/e-commerce
    I don't know if there is a good find and replace for this but I an VERY NEW to .NET
    So if someone can help me out, get me started, I would appreciate it
    Thank you!
    Corey

  • Why do I have to append URL with /index.htm on one KB?

    I have 7 different KBs I maintain on my webserver. I am using RoboHelp 7. For one of them, I have to append the URL with /index.htm, or it does not show the correct information. Examples of two of the KBs, and what happens with & without the index.htm appendeden
    I will happily provide any other information. I've been wondering about this for a long time, and it's finally driven me batty enough to ask. Thanks so much for any assistance. Greatly appreciate your input, this is a wonderful resource.
    http://wpa10suppliertest.am.mot-mobility.com/ opens a training KB for supplier information. See screenshot of the WebHelp Primary Layout:
    However, for http://wpa10user.am.mot-mobility.com/ if I do not append with http://wpa10user.am.mot-mobility.com/index.htm, I get no content, and the first skin I tried out. The settings are the same:
    http://wpa10user.am.mot-mobility.com/:
    http://wpa10user.am.mot-mobility.com/index.htm:

    Hi William,
    That makes sense - but I had looked at my IIS setups and they appear the same for all KBs, again here are settings for WPA Supplier & User. I created both the same day, the same way, and have compared all tabs which are identical. I can double check on how the DNS aliases that were set up, but they should have been identical as well

    Posting "Check the 'More like this'" area and not simply providing the answer is a great way to make these groups worthless.
    You're ignoring context.  On the old Apple Discussion Groups I never posted replies like that, instead giving people relatively detailed answers.  The new Apple Support Communities made things worse by introducing certain inefficiencies.  Then came Lion.  The flood of messages that came with Lion required a painful choice for any of the people who had been helping here: (1) Give quality responses to a few questions and ignore the rest.  (2) When applicable, give a brief answer such as the one that you found objectionable.  (3) Give up all the other normal activities of life and spend full time trying to answer questions here.
    People who needed help with Lion problems seemed to have trouble discovering existing message threads that described how to solve their problems.  I never posted the suggestion of "Check the 'More like this' area" without verifying that the help that the poster needed could be found there.  Even doing that, what I posted saved me time that I could use to help someone else.
    The people helping here are all volunteers.  None of them is being paid for the time they spend here.  They all have a life outside of Apple Support Communities.  It's arrogant of you to demand that people helping here spend more time than they already do.

  • Problem with WMS themes & Oracle MapViewer Version 11.1.1.2

    Hello, in my application I load the background raster from a external server using wms. With differents version of mapviewer 11 with a weblogic server (e.g: release 1, release 11.1.1.4) all it's allrigth, but when I change the mapviewer to release 11.1.1.2 I can't see the raster and I get the next error:
    21-sep-2011 11:33:10 oracle.sdovis.theme.WMSMapThemeDefinition setSrs
    INFO: Theme SRID set to 23030 for EPSG 82337

    SEVERE: MAPVIEWER-01048: Cannot load WMS map image.
    21-sep-2011 11:33:10 oracle.sdovis.theme.DynGeomThemeProducer prepareData
    I can understand why..., I don't know what's is the problem because differents versions of mapviewer work without problem on the same weblogic server (Weblogic 11 patchset R2).
    Anyone know if mapviewer 11.1.1.2 has a problem with WMS?
    Thanks for your answer!!

    although with Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer Version 11g ps3 (11.1.1.4) and 11g ps4 (11.1.1.5.1) everything work ok in my WebLogic Server: 10.3.3.0, with Mapviewer Version 11.1.1.2 I get the next error:
    29-sep-2011 13:25:53 oracle.sdovis.theme.WMSMapThemeDefinition setSrs

    I've seen that the wms external service works ok and returns an url with the correct image, but something wrong happens inside of mapviewer that don't allow generate the image....

  • Open URL with Dreamweaver

    I'm a webdeveloper who works with tons of different pages each day.  Many of these are sent as URLs by others in the organization, via email, etc.
    To increase efficiency, I'd like to use our testing environment to automatically open URLs with Dreamweaver.  So, basically, open a URL in the test environment (test.example.com/testing123.html), then have a link on the page to open that exact page with Dreamweaver.
    Question is....does anyone know a way to open a specific file with a specific desktop application from the browser??

    In Firefox, you can click file and Save Page As, then save the page as an HTML file. Under Tools>Options or Firefox>Preferences (Mac) you can go to the Applications tab and add HTML as a file type and select DW as the default app to open them.
    Personally, I'd caution against that because it messes up things that you really should be using Firefox or IE to open. (CHMs or application help files for example).

  • Linux: The tabs text color changes with the theme, while the menu text color is always black.

    Hello,
    When Firefox theme is changed, it usually changes window appearance, e. g. backgrounds, and sets corresponding text color to contrast with that background. It always used to be like this. For instance, I currently use Sunflower_01 theme which sets blue sky as a background. The tabs text is white, as well as the bookmarks. The white text contrasts very fine with the sky. But the menu items are awfully black, casting dark-gray shadows on the dark-blue sky. The menu remains black regardless of the theme I set.
    Of course, it's all fine without any add-ons (light background, dark text), but with a theme enabled, it looks not the way it used to be. I wonder if it can be fixed somehow.
    I use Mozilla Firefox 33.0 for Linux Mint (release 13, maya).
    Looking forward to your reply.
    Regards,
    Andrey

    Hello,
    Did you install from the repositories? I have found the same problem with Ubuntu 14.04, a workaround is to either use a userChrome.css file, or (in my opinion, the easier route) [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/ Stylish] extension with a new Style.
    See these articles about the userChrome.css file:
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/index.php?title=UserChrome.css
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css_Element_Names/IDs
    If you use the userChrome.css route, you may need to restart Firefox to apply the changes.
    See this article for Stylish:
    * http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1570945
    To add a new style in Stylish, click on the Stylish tool on your toolbar, then "Write New Style", then "Blank style". Or:
    * Tools (or [[Image: New Fx Menu]]) > Add-ons > User Styles > Write New Style
    Example code for either one method you choose (you can play around with the colours, but I found this worked nicely for my theme):
    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");
    /*change size, color, style of text in Menu Bar */
    menubar > menu
    {color: darkgray !important}
    /* Mouse hovering over menu */
    menubar > menu[_moz-menuactive="true"]
    {color: white !important;}
    /* Active/Open menus */
    menubar > menu[_moz-menuactive="true"][open="true"]
    {color: black !important;}

  • BackgroundColor is only supported by type 'mx.containers.Box' with the theme 'halo, spark'

    Hello:
    I just upgrade from Flash Builder Burrito to 4.5. After importing my Burrito project into 4.5, I got like 30 errors saying the following:
    The style 'backgroundColor' is only supported by type 'mx.containers.Box' with the theme(s) 'halo, spark'.
    I have been using backgroundColor through the project to set colors ... Is there a new property name? Do I have to start using CSS?
    The only option I had for theme was "Mobile Theme".
    I would like to be able to use backgroundColor with out rewritting all that code. Is there a way?
    Thanks
    Paul

    I used to have the prerelease "burrito" which I coded all the background colors using the "backgroundColor" property. I just bought the release version from the store and after I unstalled it I started getting the compiler errors releated to "backgroundColor".
    Where do I locate the "use flex 3 compatability" box?

    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
    If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
    You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
    You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")
