Controlling the position of a vertical/horizontal slide position
I have an array of clusters storing test results.
Problem is, the slide stays at the top possition while the array gets populated, meaning the user can't see the last entry.
I've tried many properties to control the slide to move to the last position, but can't seem to find anything that works.
Anyone know of something ?
What slide? Are you referring to the up/down control that specifies which index is at the top? That's not a slide - that's referred to as the "Index Display", so please use the correct term. To set which index value is at the top use the "Index Values" property of the control, as shown in the following code snippet:
This sets index 3 to be the element at the top.

I added some vertical line objects into my report in design mode, but the position of them can't be determined until the run time. So I have to change the position dynamically, such as " lineObject.Left = 200; ........" . But I'm confronted with an exception, System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException, and it says that " The line object's coordinates are not valid. Only vertical or horizontal lines are supported.". Finally, can the position of a vertical line object be changed in run time? if can, how to do it??
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Vertical slider position not updated while displaying .pdfs with Adobe Reader X
When a .pdf file is opened inside Firefox 4 (beta/RC1), the vertical slider position does not update while scrolling through the document until the mouse cursor is moved to the slider bar (then the slider immediately jumps to the right place).
I am using Adobe Reader X.Here is a URL that will not save in Reader X:

However, if the last slash is removed or encoded as %2f (which should not be necessary, as it appears in the query portion of the URL), there is no problem. -
I am trying to create a simple animated gif in Photoshop. I've set up my frames and want to use the tween to make the transitions less jerky. When I tween between frame 1 and frame 2 the object in frame two goes out of position, appearing in a different place than where it is on frame 2. Confused!
Hi Melissa - thanks for your interest. Here's the first frame, the second frame and the tween frame. I don't understand why the tween is changing the position of the object in frame 2, was expecting it to just fade from one frame to the next.

How do i customize the states in a vertical menu bar?
i see that it is possible to change the states for a horizontal venu bar, but i can't get it to work for the vertical one. please tell me we can edit the states in a vertical menu bar.
valerieYes, you've hit a bug in Muse, that will be fixed in the next release.
The bug happens when you have a gradient fill for the default state, but no gradient fill for your other state. The vertical menu has this look by default. You can work around it by removing the gradient in the default state, or adding a gradient for the other states. -
I have a PDF with a diagram, I need to translate the text so I open it in Illustrator. The document opens up vertically oriented I try to put it horizontal to be able to read and change the text However everything I have done is not working The artboard does change, but the diagram stays vertical.....Please help I need to finish that for today..Please help
A PDF usually consists of one to an indefinite number of clipping masks inside each other.
You need to be very carefull with selecting stuff.
So you need to read the manual on how to select stuff and on the basics of Illustrator.
On top of that: because of the complex hierarchy of PDF files, it is kind of difficult to help you without seeing anything. -

For troubleshooting your issue, please go to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\ find your Web Application (represented by a port number), then delete an unknown folder created by sharepoint, namely vti_cnf from all the folders and sub-folders in
your web application.

Go to system preferences, click on Dock and then make sure magnification is ticked and the slider bar next to it isnt on minimun.

I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
This happens the same whenever I try to install.
To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
My plugin is still showing as out of date.

You said you have disabled all add-ons and plug-ins. This may be a repeat exercise but can you please test for the problem when Firefox is in safe mode. This disables plug-ins as well but also applies various other changes. See here for details:

If the problem still appears in Safe Mode then it may be that there is still some part of Hola that is causing the problem. You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

can't see attached file but it seems you need AxisRenderer. But rotated text is shown only using embed fonts.

I have read all of the discussions about headset echos, my echos are heard by the caller when I hold the phone by the bottom half. The echo disappears when I change my hold position. Anybody else having this problem? Fix?
Don't hold it like that. You're creating an 'echo chamber' due to the position of your hand/neck/face. It's not a technical issue. I hear this when I talk to my wife and she cradles the phone against her shoulder.
