Convert AS code to a Class?

Hi, hoping someone can help.
I'm have some problems converting the attached AS file to a
Class.
Currently I add it to a movie using
#include "AS/motion_tween.as" and then call it using
mc.tweenMe("linear", "_y", 0, 100, 0.2);
Feels a bit clunky though. I'd like it to be a Class but it
throws up errors when I try.

I'm not entirely sure what you're attempting but I would
suggest simply
using Tweener, and ditching all of that code. The prototype
property while
still available is unneccessary and ugly...
import caurina.transitions.Tweener;
Tweener.addTween(myMovieClip, {_alpha:0, time:2,
transition:"easeoutbounce"});
So much cleaner...

  • Convert java code into UML

    hello,
    anybody knows a software convert java code into UML? Classes Diagram.
    for example JBuilder do that.
    // i use Netbeans.

    its not a speed issue although sometimes it can be painfully slow (but now slower that sun one). I constantly found myself getting into infinite error message loops (e.g. "incorrect input"... click ok... "incorrect input"... errr click ok.... "incorrec..." etc etc), and also it (relatively) regularly falls over. I tried to export diagrams as GIFs, and when I imported them into Word they looked ok, but when I printed them they printed negative!! I used about 100g of toner before I realised, and had to go thru all diagrams changing them to JPGs. Plus, I think the interface for 6 is a lot less intuitive than 4.2, and it's trying to be too feature rich. Personally I would never use it as a code editor as it's too big and lumbering. For me, it's a diagramming tool, but it doesn't even put pretty pictures as nodes on deployment diagrams!! I want pictures of workstations, PDAs and databases!! Only kidding...

    According to me just convert ths code to servlet and instead of displaying the image with BufferedImage just stream it (the image) to the browser. This will be useful to catch the general idea.

  • How to convert dll to a java class file?

    Hi folks:
    I have some DLLs in VB and C++ and I wanna to convert them to a java class file. Does anybody know if exist a sw or easy way to do it?
    thanks
    Autair

    Well, I believe you could write JNI to call the functions in the DLLs, although I wouldn't recommend it. (You'd have a non-portable, fragile result.)

  • What is the proper way to code a "wrapper" class?

    Basically I want to replace an existing Action with a custom Action, but I want the custom Action to be able to invoke the existing Action.
    The following code works fine. I can create a custom Action using the existing action and the text on the button "paste-from-clipboard" is taken from the existing Action. So everything works great as long as the existing Action extends from AbstractAction.
    However the Action interface does not support the getKeys() method which I used to copy the key/value information from the existing action to the wrapped action. So if you try to create a button from some class that strictly implements the Action interface the key/value data in the wrapped Action will be empy and no text will appear on the button.
    So as the solution I thought I would need to override all the methods in the wrapped Action class to invoke the methods from the originalAction object. That is why all the commented code in the class is there. But then the protected methods cause a problem as the class won't compile.
    Do I just not worry about overriding those two methods? Is this a general rule when creating wrapper classes, you ignore the protected methods?

  • How to restructure this code into separate classes?

    I have C# code that initializes a force feedback joystick and plays an effect file(vibrates the joystick). I have turn the console application into library
    code to make a dll so that I can use it in LabVIEW.
    Right now all the code is written under one class, so went I put the dll in LabVIEW I can only select that one class. labVIEW guy told me that I need to
    restructure my C# code into separate classes. Each class that I want to access from LabVIEW needs to marked as public. Then I can instantiate that class in LabVIEW using a constructor, and call methods and set properties of that class using invoke nodes and
    property nodes.
    How can I do this correctly? I tried changing some of them into classes but doesn't work. Can you guys take a look at the code to see if it is even possible
    to break the code into separate classes? Also, if it is possible can you guide me, suggest some reading/video, etc.

    Imho he means the following.
    Your class has performs two tasks:
    Controlling the joystick.
    Managing the joystick with a form.
    So I would recommend, that you separate the WinForm from the joystick code. E.g.
    namespace JoystickCtlLib
    public class JoystickControl
    private Device device = null;
    private bool running = true;
    private ArrayList effectList = new ArrayList();
    private string joyState = "";
    public string State { get { return this.joyState; } }
    public bool InitializeInput() { return true; }
    public void PlayEffects() { }
    private void UpdateInputState() { }
    So that your joystick class does not reference or uses any winform or button.
    btw, there is a thing which is more important than that: Your polling the device in the main thread of your application. This will block your main application. Imho this should be a job for a thread like background worker.

  • Getting the "code" of a class as byte array

    Hi!
    My problem is the following. My algorithm gets a Class object and it should return the code of the class as byte array.
    e.g. public byte [] getTheCode (Class forThisClass);
    I found out, that I can get an InputStream for a ressource, so that i can load my own classes like getResourceAsStream("my/package/MyClass.class"), but it should also be possible to get the code of the built-in classes like String, Integer etc.
    thanks, Ingo

    The real name of String is java.lang.String; perhaps you didn't use the full name.No, that's not the problem. The classloader of java.lang.String is usually the bootstrap class loader, and its Class.getClassLoader() == null.
    Class.getClassLoader() explicitly defers to the system class loader (not the bootstrap class loader) if getClassLoader() == null, The system class loader (the thing that looks at CLASSPATH, etc.) cannot load anything from rt.jar.
    So basically I think you're sort of SOL, unless you want to check for this condition yourself. I.e. first try your approach (using getResourceAsStream()), and if that returns null, go and open ${java.home}/lib/rt.jar, and walk it on your own.

  • Where can I get the source code for sun classes?

    Hello,
    When ever you download sun's j2sdk, the archive always contains the source code for the entire sdk in a zip file called src.zip except the sun.xxx classes like sun.awt.print.PrintDialog or sun.awt.font.FontResolver.
    For debugging purposes I need, if availabe, the source code of these classes which are not present in the src.zip.
    Please can someone tell me if theses classes are available as source and can point me where I can find it cause I am searching for it but can't find it on the net.
    Thank you
    Carolin

    Hey ChuckBing
    And your way is the only way, right? No.What on earth is eating you? Highly sensitive today?
    Where is the problem? There are two solutions of the question.
    The one link I posted points directly to the sun source download link. The "readme" explains, yippie, the sun sources are contained. Easy, isn't it?
    With the other one, you have to navigate at least through two other pages before you might find the link and only if you recognize that "Download JDK 5.0 source via SCSL/JRL" means the sun source code and not the sources contained in the JDK download. This is what I thought as I've seen this link the first time. Unfortunately there is no "readme".
    I prefer the easy way, I dont want to earn a doctorate. Ok, you can say dont "play the woman", but I'm a woman and a blonde too;-)
    But, let us stop the idle discussion here, please!
    Nevertheless, thanks to you and [email protected] for answering.

  • New Phone Cause Code 64 Error Class 2

    I just bought and activated my new Droid Incredible 2 when I tried to send a text message if failed to send. I looked at the details and saw that it said cause code 64 error class 2. What does this mean, and what should I do to fix it? Thank you.

        Hi naywah,
    I know how important texting is to users. I appreciate you calling *228, did the programming finish successfully? Are you getting the same error messages when sending the messages? Please confirm that you're using the regular texting application and not a 3rd party application. I also recommend you check the content being sent (ex: are you sending plain text or containing special characters or emoticans) and the type of signal arriving to the device. I look forward to hearing back from you to find how the trouble was resolved.
    Thank you,

  • Cause Code 97, Error Class 2

    I have had my Droid Incredible 2 for a little over a month.  Has worked perfectly fine until this morning. I can receive messages, but whenever I try to reply to them I get a screen that says "Message failed. Would you like to retry?" but every time I retry it still doesn't send. Then I hit cancel instead and view the details of the error.  This is where it says "Cause code: 97, Error class: 2". This is very frustrating and is there any way to fix it?

        Lets ensure your text messages are up and running, JulieDuffek. Have you cleared out your text messages threads? I would also suggest heading into Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > ALL > Messages > Clear Data.

  • Can I convert a proxy for a class that does not has any interfaces?

    Can I convert a proxy for a class that does not has any interfaces?

    Hi.
    I can hardly understand your question: what do you want your proxy (what kind of proxy?) to be converted into?
    All I can tell you is the following: Proxies created using java.lang.reflect.Proxy can only be created using an interface. This interface has to be implemented by the proxied object. So: no interface, no java.lang.reflect.Proxy.
    Bye.

    Hi Guys,
    I am new to this forum and have already tried looking for the resolution for this error but unsucessful til now. Actually we have photoshop cs4 installed in our server and we use it to create thumbnails whenever a PSD file is uploaded to the application.

    Please help me get this sort out since it is in production.
