  • Copy/Paste images into Contribute CS3

We have been copying and pasting images from Word Documents
in Office 2003 into Contribute CS3 at my organization when
developing content. We have been able to copy/paste images from
Office 2003 and other programs like Paintshop Pro and SnagIt.
Since upgrade to Microsoft Office 2007 all image copying and
    pasting has stopped working.
Is there a known issue with this?
Does anyone else have Office 2007 installed and is able to
copy/paste images from a Word Document into a page in Contribute
    CS3?

It appears that the problem only occurs if you are copy and
pasting from something that hasn't been saved yet.
In Word I inserted an image from my hard drive and tried to
copy/paste it into Contribute and that failed. I then saved the
Word Document to my hard drive, re-opened it and was able to
    copy/paste fine.
Power Point, Snagit and Pain Shop Pro appear to have the
problem even if it's been saved first.
I was able to copy/paste an image from a Word Doc and
PowerPoint into MSPaint just fine. I was also able to copy/paste
between Office applications with out any problem. Snagit could
copy/paste into Office just fine and MSPaint.
This problem appears to be specific to Contribute CS3 but
    only from certain sources.

  • Copy/paste images into pages within sharepoint online?

There seems to be a workaround to use RadControl for this. (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/655c080f-ec1e-4e69-b082-d35973ee426a/copy-and-paste-for-images-in-sharepoint)
However, I don't think we can deploy custom app/binaries onto sharepoint online.
Is there other way we can easily copy/past images into pages?
    Thx

you cannot paste the images into sharepoint pages directly, Images cannot be rendered as HTML so cannot be pasted.
You have to upload the images into SharePoint then insert it on the pages /places you want.
or other work aorund buy the 3rd party tool which you mentioned.

  • Copy & Paste images to forms from the clipboard

    hello,
    Java Plug-in 1.6.0_33
Using JRE version 1.6.0_33-b05 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
    Forms Applet version is 11.1.2.0
Windows 7 64bitForms has successfully done the drag&drop, save image file images to javabeans then save & retrieve it from database.
Laf project has an example of table-block copy/paste from/to the clipboard feature. You can populate a table-block with the content of the clipboard (Excel, Word,...) and also send to the clipboard with the content of a table-block.
But a how about the copy & paste images to forms?
It is posible?Any one tried this one?

  • Drag/drop or copy/paste images out of LR into other apps?

    Hi-
First time posting here, I've been an Aperture user the last few years and am now exploring and enjoying Lightroom. One thing I can do in Aperture is to drag and drop or copy/paste images directly from it into other apps. For example, I'll take images from Aperture and put them into Powerpoint (so this is not involving Apple's Media Browser, as in Keynote). When I do this, the generated preview of the image (not the actual RAW file) is inserted into the other app.
Is this possible in LR? I have not seen a way to do it, and couldn't find anything about it on the forum. Or do I have to manually export each image before I can use in another app?
    Thanks, Adam

Ah, I've figured it out now you've confirmed it can be done. It looks like I have to be in grid mode in the Library, then I can drag and drop just fine, including RAW files (obviously converted to jpeg). In Aperture I could drag and drop in either full-view or thumbnail, and I was previously trying it from loupe or Develop view in LR.
Regarding Keynote vs PPT, yes I often prefer working in Keynote, but my clients mostly work in PPT, and there are still too many conversion glitches. Besides, I can pretty much make a PPT look like a Keynote, or vice versa , for example this one...

    Hi garynguyen,
premise doesn't provide this kind of oob function to copy and paste the image into SharePoint page directly, you may develop your own solution (or use third party solution) to ahcieve this goal.
For Office365 SharePoint online question, we have a dedicated forum as below, you can post there for a better assistance with more experts regarding this Office365 issue.

  • Word crash with sharepoint document and copy-pasting image from paint

Initially I've posted this to another forum but there the rec was to post it here as well.
I have a very annoying issue occurring in specific circumstances (but unfortunately for me that is my daily work), it happens when a document is stored on a SharePoint server. When I copy-paste an image from ms paint into word, often I get the message 'word
has encountered an error' but then I can continue, but every 5-10 times Word crashes completely.
When the error (not the crash) occurs, there is this nothing-saying error message stated below. Think of it.. my ‘floppy disk’ is not full, I have 8 GB of ram and I’ve all the permissions I require. The virus scanner is Symantec Endpoint
    Protection.
All systems are in a world-wide enterprise environment (>20.000 users) – So I guess from that side everything is configured OK.
There is a problem saving the file.
Usually this is because the disk or floppy disk is too small for the file or is full, RAM memory is low, or there is a permission problem with the drive the file is being saved to.
If the amount of disk space for a paging file is low, save the file to another drive. If the RAM memory is low, increase available RAM. If permissions to the drive do not allow you to save to that drive, save the file to another drive or request
permissions from the administrator to save files to the drive.
Note   This error can also occur if the computer is running a version of antivirus software that is incompatible with the Microsoft Office or must be updated.

    Hi,
What is the version of Word?
Sometimes the Preview Pane in Windows File Explorer may conflict with Word, thus the error message appears. If you have enabled the Preview Pane in File Explorer, disable it to check the result. For example, in Windows 8.1, Open File Explorer, click
View tab on the top -> Panes -> Click Preview Pane to enable or disable it.
If the issue persists, I suggest you collect the event logs to find the cause of the crash:
Press Win + R, type "eventvwr" in the blank box, press Enter to open Event Viewer. Browse to Windows Logs -> Application, check if there is any error about the crash.
You can send the event logs to our email address and we can help analyze the problem:

  • Paste Images Problem

    Hi all,
I'm having a problem pasting images from an external application to my java app. The external app uses the Windows clipboard to copy these proprietary images into a format that is not documented, but as I understand it, Windows uses BMP by default.
The problem is that when the clipboard contents are pasted into my application, the images are offset. Now, if I paste the clipboard contents into another application(Paint.net, Photoshop), this problem does not occur. If I save the pasted image from Photoshop to an 8 bit indexed BMP, reload that image, copy and paste, the problem occurs. If I save it from Photoshop to an 8 bit RGB BMP, reload the image, copy and paste, the problem disapears(no offset). If you don't have Photoshop, the problem can be replicated in the native Windows Paint program.
I've included a small program that demonstrates the problem, as well as two images. The correct.bmp image works fine, incorrect.bmp shows the problem. The are both quite large(1 ~ 5 mb).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

            frame.setVisible(true);

    };

I observe the problem, if I copy the images from the windows Paint instead of Chrome.
No, but they will be copying though the proprietary program they are using. It's the only way to get the proprietary images 'converted', so to speak. Can't your 'proprietary program' save the converted images to disk. If that is possible then you can set the icon of the label using the url of the saved image. I have just observed that if you set icon using file path of any of the 'correct.bmp' or 'incorrect.bmp', it displays it fine. However, as already said there is some problem with the copying using clipboard.
    Thanks!

  • Why won't copy/paste images appear in PDF (from Word 2007)?

I find all places in a Word 2007 document where content copied from Power Point 2007 and then pasted into a Word 2007 document does not appear in the subsequent PDF file I generate. White space of the same size as the pasted content appears in its place. Why is this happening and are there any suggestions to work around this issue? What is curious is the free PDF creation tool that you can use to generate a PDF within Word 2007 (by choosing file save-as PDF) does NOT have this same issue. I don't want to use Word's tool since it doesn't allow for the option settings flexibility I need to produce the final PDF.
I already tried saving the Word file as XML and then re-saving as Word .docx and regenerating the PDF from Acrobat: the graphics are still missing. I also tried in Acrobat Help> Repair Installation and then shut down/restarted my computer. Again, the regenerated PDF is missing the graphics.
Personally, I do not use a copy/paste method; rather, I use insert>picture>from file or paste special as a grphic file type. I know the same graphics placed this way come out fine in a PDF I generate from Acrobat. However, I support a bunch of engineers who make copy/paste a shortcut habit. I will have no luck telling them not to do this.
I appreciate any help with this.

Preferences in Acrobat reader under Page Display are already set to Show Large Images. I assume that is the setting you mentioned.
I don't know of any setting in Word 2007 that would make a difference. Does anyone else have work around suggestions?

One more thing is if i am developing the webpage using PHP then can i use JAVA APPLET and achieve this on the same page???Well, as you may know, PHP generates HTML output and applets are embedded in html pages.
The only tricky part is when the applet wants to send the image data to the server (otherwise it would be lost once the page is closed). You need to negotiate a suitable way to do that.

  • COPY/PASTE Images on canvas

I can import images onto my canvas from a file and they display just fine. However, when I try to copy an image/graphic from another form, the image does not display on the canvas. The graphic object name appears in the object navigator though. What am I doing wrong? TIA.

    Hi There -
I think you need to see the physical properties of the image which you copied from another form, generally they differ and that cause problem.

  • Copy/paste images from photoshop to illustrator

I often edit photos for print publication in photoshop and copy/paste them in to .eps files for resizing and use by our printers.
I have experienced problems with colours not being accurate/rasterizing after copying and also greyscale becoming lighter/having less contrast.
Can anyone suggest a solution or send me a link to good web resources explaining why im having these problems?
    Thanks
    Dave

The graphic is embedded, you loose most all ability to control color. Use file >> place and check the link box to place this as a linked graphic. Then the values you see in phothsop will be the values sent to the output device. Any color management you add on top of this is the only thing that would change the color.
Also make sure you have file >> document color  mode >> set to CMYK
With linking your files will be faster and take up less space on disk.

  • Copy Paste image in applet

    Hi,
I'm working on a Java picture editor (a JApplet), and I was wondering if there was a way to directly copy/paste an image onto a canvas of some sorts (ie, copy/paste directly to the applet). Is it possible, and how would it be done? I'm a little new to Java, so I'd greatly appreciate some insight!

    reproduced on 7-32bits
I've 10.000 customers on this platform, currently on adobe7/8/9, and waiting for this "go" to update.
Is it possible to have an answer ?
    Thanks.
