Could not start cache agent for the requested data store

Hi,
This is my first attempt in TimesTen. I am running TimesTen on the same Linux host (RHES 5.2) that running Oracle 11g R2. The version of TimesTen is:
TimesTen Release 11.2.1.4.0
Trying to create a simple cache.
The DSN entry for ttdemo1 in .odbc.ini is as follows:
+[ttdemo1]+
Driver=/home/oracle/TimesTen/timesten/lib/libtten.so
DataStore=/work/oracle/TimesTen_store/ttdemo1
PermSize=128
TempSize=128
UID=hr
OracleId=MYDB
DatabaseCharacterSet=WE8MSWIN1252
ConnectionCharacterSet=WE8MSWIN1252
Using ttisql I connect
Command> connect "dsn=ttdemo1;pwd=oracle;oraclepwd=oracle";
Connection successful: DSN=ttdemo1;UID=hr;DataStore=/work/oracle/TimesTen_store/ttdemo1;DatabaseCharacterSet=WE8MSWIN1252;ConnectionCharacterSet=WE8MSWIN1252;DRIVER=/home/oracle/TimesTen/timesten/lib/libtten.so;OracleId=MYDB;PermSize=128;TempSize=128;TypeMode=0;OracleNetServiceName=MYDB;
(Default setting AutoCommit=1)
Command> call ttcacheuidpwdset('ttsys','oracle');
Command> call ttcachestart;
*10024: Could not start cache agent for the requested data store. Could not initialize Oracle Environment Handle.*
The command failed.
The following is shown in the tterrors.log:
15:41:21.82 Err : ORA: 9143: ora-9143--1252549744-xxagent03356: Datastore: TTDEMO1 OCIEnvCreate failed. Return code -1

  • TF215097: An error occurred while initializing a build for build definition : Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel

    Hello,
    We are facing an issue when triggering a new build using TFS 2013 Update 4, VS2013 Update 4 using TFVCTemplate.12.XAML template. All our other older build definitions just work fine but not the TFVCTemplate.12.XAML.  It seems to me that some certificate
    might be invalidated. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
    Thanks,

    Hi Mitul,
    Thanks for your reply.
    It’s strange, if your old build definitions can work using the same TFS Build Server, that indicate your TFS Server configuration is correct and can works. But only new build definition with default TfvcTemplate.12.xaml template cannot build successful.
    Please share your TFS Server detailed environment information here. And share your
    Build Service Properties dialog screenshot here.
    Try to clean the Cache for TFS 2013 manually(delete the content of the folder only, not the cache folder itself):
    Clean the Cache folder on Server machine. The folder path is:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Team Foundation Server 12.0\Application Tier\Web Services\_tfs_data.
    After cleaned, on Server machine, click Start and select
    Run… to open the dialog box, then input iisreset.exe and click OK, wait it run completely.
    Additionally, you can run the TFS 2013 Power Tools BPA to scan the installation of your TFS Server.

  • *** WARNING: Could not start service 80 for protocol HTTP on host MyFQDN

    Hi,
    I m configuring an external Sap webdispatcher to point to an ICF service
    I need to install it on Windows Web server where others web sites are running.
    I configured a specific ip for that on the Web servers and enter the DNS name in our domain.
    On the the pfl file I define :
    SAPLOCALHOSTFULL=<MyFQDN>
    icm/host_name_full =<MyFQDN>
    and specify icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80
    Each time I m starting it I received *** WARNING: Could not start service 80 for protocol HTTP on host <MyFQDN> .........
    If I m using another port (Ex:86)no problem with my FQDN.But if I m doing servername:86 it s working also.
    It s seems that the webdispatcher don t care about my FQDN.
    How can I have the WEBDISPATCHER pointing to this specific FQDN and not all ?
    Thanks,

    Hi Damien,
    You problem is perfectly logical : It's not possible to have 2 programs (IIS and web dispatcher) listening together on the same 80 HTTP port.
    There is no configuration that I know on the web dispatcher to tell him to listen only on one IP address.
    Summary : what you want to do is not possible.
    I had a similar request and I did the following.
    I use a Linux box with an Apache reverse proxy to select to distribute the HTTP requests on different web dispatchers. The rules depends from the called URLs.

    Olivier

  • WSUS Sync is not working Sync failed: UssCommunicationError: WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. --- System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote

    I know there are loads of posts with same issue and most of them were related to proxy and connectivity .
    This was case for me as well (few months back). Now the same error is back. But I've confirmed that FW ports and proxy are fine this time around.
    server is configured on http port 80
    ERROR
    Sync failed: UssCommunicationError: WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid
    according to the validation procedure.~~at System.Web.Services.Protocols.WebClientProtocol.GetWebResponse(WebRequest request). Source: Microsoft.SystemsManagementServer.SoftwareUpdatesManagement.WSyncAction.WSyncAction.SyncWSUS
    I've checked proxy server connectivity. I'm able browse following site from WSUS server
    http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx?sku=wsus&version=3.2.7600.226&protocol=1.8
    I did telnet proxy server on the particular port (8080) and that is also fine.
    I've doubt on certificates, any idea which are the certificates which we need to look? And if certificate is expired then (my guess) we won't be able open the above mentioned windows update catalog site?
    Any tips appreciated !

    Hi Lawrence ! - Many thanks for looking into this thread and replying. Appreciate your help.
    Your reply  ("SSL is enabled/configured, and the certificate being used is invalid
    (or the cert does not exist or cannot be obtained), or the SSL connection could not be established.") is very helpful.
    I've already tested CONTENT DOWNLOAD and it's working fine. WSUS Sync was also working fine for years with proxy server configured on port (8080) and WSUS server on port 80.
    My Guess (this is my best guess ;)) is this something to do with Firewall or Proxy side configuration rather than WSUS. However, I'm not finding a way to prove this to proxy/firewall team. From their perspective all the required port communication open and
    proxy server is also reachable. More over we're able to access internet (Microsoft Update Catalog site) over same port (8080).
    Any other hints where I can prove them it's a sure shot problem from their side.
    Thanks again !!

  • EHSM - Create Vendor - error: 'Could not find a document for the given key'

    Dear all,
    In the Chemical Approval Process I have attached a SDS document to the Approval Request. You can assign a Vendor to the SDS. As there are no (EHSM) Vendors currently available in the system I would like to create a new (EHSM) Vendor by clicking on 'Create Vendor'.
    This will lead me to the following Webdynpro Application: Edit Vendor (EHFND_UI_VENDOR_OVP).
    Only one field is shown in the Webdynpro named: 'Name of the Vendor'. After typing a name e.g. 'test', the following error message appears; 'Could not find a document for the given key'. See also attached document. This issue looks like a missing number range, however I could not find a EHSM number range for Vendors.
    How to solve this issue?
    More information:
    Software Component: SAP EHS Management (EHSM) Support Package: 3
    Process: Chemical Approval
    Webdynpro application: EHFND_UI_VENDOR_OVP
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,

    Hi
    babooraj
    This might be a problem with Windows Power Shell.
    The solution is to copy the folder: "PSWorkflow" from "C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\"
    to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules"
    Than everything works fine.
    Ps.: @Microsoft, please fix this problem in future versions.

    Hi
    Abhilash Francis,
    Could you tell us your scenario?  What's your project? Is it a WCF service?
    Looks like this is not a code issue.
    Just from the error information,
    it seems that you do not configure the service certificate very well so as to Server was unable to process request.
    I am not completely sure  what the real scenario is, but it might be a problem of that It is a WCF services application,  please check these following articles to configure the service certificate.
    If not, please feel free to let me know.

  • "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel"

    During the configuration of DUET_E , when calling the DUET Application from SharePoint, the following error is shown :
    "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority 'MYSAPNW702SERVER:8001'"
    I have already seen the Post :
    Error in DUET Configuration at SSL
    This mentions the error, but does not provide any answers on resolution.
    The DUET_E troublshooting guide suggests that the SAP Standard SSL Certificate is added to SharePoint Central Admin > Security > Manage Trusts
    This has also been done.
    We are using the Standard SAP SSL Self signed certificate - not one signed by an external CA.
    Can anyone provide any guidance ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Min,
    reading through your first post the problem might be the CN of the certificate. If you used the Wizard or the default way to create a self signed certicate, it is probably created with the CN server.domain (the fully qualified name of the server).
    However, when you created the BDC models the URLs pointing to the WSDL is probably only the servername (at least that is what I would assume after seeing your error message).
    Because of that SharePoint calls the SAP Duet server with the severname, but the certificate presented by the SAP system is not the servername, but the fully qualified servername. Because of that -- although SharePoint trusts the certificate -- the URL and certificate do not match and you get the error "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority 'MYSAPNW702SERVER:8001"
    If that is the case you have two options:
    1) you go to STRUST and create a new SSL certificate that has a CN of only the servername. Then you export this certificate and trust it in SharePoint
    2) or -- and this is the way I would recommend -- you try to adjust the URL used in the BDC model. Usually you get only the servername (and not the fully qualified DNS name) when you have not specified the profile parameter  icm/host_name_full. Which URL is currently used when you start transaction SAML2 or SOAMANAGER? If you have not yet set icm/host_name_full, then give this a try.
    Regards,
    Holger.

    This is the important error: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.
    Your SharePoint server certificate is invalid. You have to either correct your certificate or make your SSIS client machine explicitly trust the server certificate.

    I also have the exact same issue.  New IMac, installed LR, imported approximately 900 photos no problem, across the network from a Windows PC.   The import stopped when the network connection was lost.   Now I cannot import for the same reason "could not copy a file to the requested location".  I have plenty of disk space and i have permission to the needed folders.   I cannot even import from a folder already on the IMac.

  • Could not start Service Broker for database id

    I am getting this message in the SQL Server error log:
    Could not start Service Broker for database id: 10. A problem is preventing SQL Server from starting Service Broker. Check the SQL Server error log for additional messages.
    It appears even when the broker is disabled on the database.  How can I eliminate this error?
    Thanks!

    In that case you're gonna have to contact Microsoft support, perhaps provide a copy of the database.
    Typical reason why a broker cannot be started is that another database with the same service_broker_guid already exists in the instance (result of a file copy/attach or a double restore). However, in that case a message is given that states the reason.

  • Could not start Service Broker for database

    Problem:
    Could not start Service Broker for database id: 9. A problem is preventing SQL Server from starting Service Broker. Check the SQL Server error log for additional messages.
    The windows and application logs do not give me any for information. I have checked the database instance and found that Database ID 9 does not exist in the sys.databases table. Could this be the reason?
    How do I resolve it so that SQL Server does not try and start Service broker for a database ID that does not exist?
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hello Affy
    Solution/Fix: To avoid this alert, I have set the "Enable Disaster Recovery File Updates" parameter to 0 in the regedit at the below location.
    MY Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Engine\SQL Server

  • "Could not copy a file to the requested location." error

    Hi - I'm running Adobe Lightroom 1.4.1 (latest) on my iMac which is running Leopard's latest version. Suddenly I'm getting an error when importing to Lightroom. I have used different CF cards, so I'm sure it's Lightroom. Either one or two photos import (out of a large amount - this happens whether in RAW or JPG) and then it quits with a pop-up, which at the very top says "Import Results", and under there it says, "Some import operations were not performed." In the space below there's a header that says, "Could not copy a file to the requested location. (92)" (Not always 92, sometimes 200 or something else), and there is a triangle to expand and all the photo file names are listed below.
    Everything was running fine until yesterday, nothing changed. I have screen shots of the error if needed. Help??? Please! I have so many photos to import!
    Thanks for any help,
    Aviva

    Same problem here only with images burned to disks today, it is fine with images burned to disks 3 days ago. This is happening on two computers one is running XP with Lightroom 1.4 the other is running Vista with Lightroom 1.3. I can import one image at a time but no batches off DVD or CD disks, I have not tried directly from my CF cards. We have found a work around; download all images to temp folder on desktop then import into Lightroom after imported delete files in temp folder it works but takes a lot more time and space on hard drive.

  • Import Error: Could not move a file to the requested location.

    After importing with the move option I get "Could not move a file to the requested location." and a list of all the
    images. The images were all moved so the sync option finds them in the destination folders. It is just a pain to go through this two step process. Note this wasn't the initial behavior at first the process worked.
    Lightroom v3 (release copy)
    Vista

    Odd thing was this wasn't a problem when I first started using the LR3 release this has developed in the last few hours even after a reboot.
