Country dropdown list blank

Hi
I am trying to set up my Playbook for the first time. I have connected to wi-fi, set up time and date and when I proceed to the Agreement screen the country drop down list is empty (blank). I cannot proceed from here, please help......

I remember seeing this as well.  If memory serves me correctly, I had to go back and ensure my keyboard/language/region(time) settings all matched and then the country appeared.

    I copied and replaced the field name with 'country' in the java script related and in the html with script code. I remembered that I forgot to populate the country list in the action class earlier.
    But after doing that I get null in the dropdown. Trying to debug but unable to. the control doesn't stop at that breakpoint in the custom class
    I'm using country list with some other custom fields that are just input fields along with date fields that has calender options.
    I need only country list in my custom jsp.

  • Country DropDown List (Auto-suggest)

    I would like to create a dropdown list of countries that auto-suggests the countries as you type. For example, if you type in "A" , it will suggest all countries that begin with an "A", if you type "Au" ... all the countries that begin with "Au" will be suggested, and so on. Right now, my country dropdown suggests the country only after you click the down arrow and capitalize the first letter. Is there a way to automatically suggest the country as you type (so you dont have to click the arrow or capitalize the first letter). Thanks!!

    I would like to create a form using three level of dépendent dropdown lists.
    Some examples exist with States dropdown list depending on a Country dropdown list. I would like to have a third level City depending on the choice made in the second list. Thanks for your help and sorry for my English

    It does only change first region dropdownlist value, not others because both dropdown lists are in a Subform.
    Other problem is that it works only when All Country Dropdown lists are "DE". Means, first region dropdown list depends upon not only first country dropdown but also other dropdown.
    My requirement is, If first country Dropdown is "DE", only first Region Dropdown list should be fill, not others. And so on.
    Please provide solution that How can I change all dropdown lists of a Subform dynamically?

    You are assigning values only the first row.
    data.Daten.Daten.Daten.Data.DropDown.rawValue =  data.Daten.Aktion.DropDown.rawValue
    You have to use the assignment in loop.
    1. check number of rows in the table
    2. Assign values in loop
    // Use the internal table which you binded to dropdown for getting total rows.

  • Blank value added to dropdown list in Adobe Interactive forms

    Hi,
    I see blank value being added to the value list by default to dropdown lists in adobe interactive forms. The real issue is it's being added sometimes as the first value or last value in the drop down list of values which is inconsistent and resulting in Errors sometimes.
    Is there a way by which we can control the position of the blank value added by default(SAP or Adobe) to the drop down lists in adobe interactive forms .? Secondly , Is this a SAP or Adobe upgrade issue since we observed this issue only after recent upgrades ...?
    I am using HCM processes and forms and I am not adding blank value (space) explicitly in my coding of dropdown list values .

    The Web Dynpro framework generates a blank entry to the value set of the dropdown listbox if the Context attribute bound to the dropdown listbox is "nullable" (see properties of the Context attribute).
    The dropdown listboxes of interactive forms will be populated with exactly the same data (value sets) as the "native" Web Dynpro dropdown lisboxes.
    For SAP NetWeaver 7 EhP2, there's a Web Dynpro test application (WDR_TEST_ADOBE_ZCI) available, which demonstrates this: Start it and see the dropdown listboxes labeled "Datatype" and "Datatype (nullable)": Both are bound to Context attributes which are of type DATATYPE_D. The only difference is that one of the attributes is "nullable". The dropdown listbox bound to the nullable attribute contains the additional blank entry.
    Watch the native Web Dynpro dropdown listboxes below the interactive form: They are bound to the same Context attributes and contain the same value sets as the dropdown listboxes of the interactive form!

    I have a case where I want to add a blank entry in a drop down list box that is bound to a database table. I want the blank to be the default, then the user can select the bound values if desired. How do I do this without binding the drop down box to a prepopulated array?

    Go to the JSP source of that page and add
    <f:selectItem itemLabel="None" itemValue="0"/> before
    the line <f:selectItems binding="#{Page1.dropdown1SelectItems}" ....
    With this you can deselect the previous selection by selecting None from the dropdown list. You can also use blank spaces instead of None.

  • SSRS report - A single selection dropdown list converted to text box

    Hello everyone,
    We created a single selection dropdown parameter (City parameter) on a report. The data in this parameter is populated using MDX query. Also, it is filtered based on selection of another single selection dropdown list (Country parameter) of a report.
    The problem is when there is no cities for the selected country the dropdown list is gets converted to free type text box and user can insert city data in it. Why SSRS is not keeping it as empty dropdown list with no data?
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Regarding parameter settings on General tab for both the above parameters we did not select any of the following values, all these checkboxes are empty:
    Allow Blank Value ("") , Allow null value, Allow multiple values.
    I think it has something related to [Measures].[Amt] that we used in customer parameter. We are now trying to take other two parameters where we would be not using the [Measures].[Amt] to filter the data. Will update you soon.

  • How can I use a Dropdown list in a table col and only get the choosen key?

    I have chosen Cell editor = Dropdown for two of the columns in my WD table  (ordinary Table not ALV) .
    When the table is displayed the first time this looks OK, but if a user selects a value from the dropdown list, both the key and the explanation text is copied into the cell, and the cell column is automatically widened. I want to copy the key value only, and not the connected text. How is this possible?
    I started setting the table as fixed and setting the width on the column, but this was a puzzle I gave up since there are quite a lot of columns.

    Well , the problem is that in the dropdown list I want to see both the key value and the text, like you do in SAP GUI. Fex. if I would like to create a dropdown for langauges, factory calendar or countries, I want to see both the country code (the key) and the name of the country in the dropdown list, and then when user choose a line I would only like to see the keyvalue in the input field.  Right now I concatenate the key and the text into the 'value' in the valueset table.
    In some cases the user knows the key value better than the explanational text, and then it is good to show both values. But sInce I would like to save space in the table displayed in the view I only want to show the key values selected in the table (ex. NO if user choose Norway) .
    But maybe it is better to create this kind of input help as an OVS with no input fields .?

    I have 2 custom fields which are of type dropdown list on Accounts(CRMM_ACCOUNT) PCUI application details tab.I need to read the selected value of first dropdown list item,based on that second dropdown list will be populated.
    I know where to populate the dropdown list box,it is in FILL_DROPDOWN_LISTBOX.
    I dont know how to trap the selection made on dropdown list.
    PLease guide me on how to trap the dropdown list field selection value.

    Check what is done in standard for the fielf REGION which is inked to the country.
    Otherwise, you can do the following :
    - in field group customizing, for field 1, flag the 'send request' flag. So, when you change the value in this field via the dropdown, the MAC methods are immediately called.
    - Put the new value in a global variable (GV).
    - in the fill_dropdown_listbox method, get the value from this GV and based on it, filter the values for the dropdown of field 2.

  • How to extract data from xml field to dropdown list?

    I have designed a form and connected to a SQL server database using a web service. The XML data retrieved from wsdl connection is currently hold in a text field called 'XMLfield'. I need to extract the data such as 'PersonnelName' from XMLfield into a dropdown list. I used the following code and I do not get any error, but nothing come up and all my fields in the forms become bank when i click the dropdown list.
    I would appreciate it if anyone can help me with this issue.

    Hi Roya,
    I think the loadXML will override your form data, so blanking out your fields.  You could try loading the xml data at the xfa.datasets level (that is xfa.datasets.loadXML(form1.XMLfield.rawValue,0,1);) or using E4X to process the XML.
    Another option though might be more rework is to use the Acrobat SOAP api which will return you a JavaScript object so you wont have to do any XML work.

    In Web Analysis, Entity Descriptions are not displayed correctly in Combo box dropdown list when entity descriptions from HFM contains a dot(.)
    Example:
    'Entity A. LTD' becomes 'LTD'
    'Entity B Inc.' becomes blank
    It seems that everything before the dot is not displayed when opening the combobox.
    It looks like it is acting like the option to show short description for entities in HR where the parent-child relation is not shown. This behaviour I don't expect for descriptions. And in my opinion is not an option in Web Analysis.
    Does anybody knows the sollution or have seen this issue before?

    This is a known issue with combo box list of values.
    Please follow this workaround:
    - Remove ComboboxLOV on Deptno
    - Create an updateable transient attribute(Say Dname) of type String
    - Define combobox lov with following values:
    List Data Source: DeptView1
    List Attribute: Dname
    List Return Values:
    Dname - Dname
    Deptno - Deptno
    UI Hints: Display Attribute - Dname
    - Edit Dname(transient attribute) and provide following groovy expression
    oracle.jbo.Key key = new oracle.jbo.Key(Deptno);
    return DeptView1.findByKey(key, 1)[0].getAttribute("Dname");- Now, you are done and observe that Dname combo box lov shows Description even on selection and change in this combo box sets the Deptno value

  • Adobe Form Section is Not Showing When Value is Selected from Dropdown List

    Hello Experts
    We have this issue where an ADOBE FORM is embedded in a WEBDYNPRO APPLICATION. 
    When selecting a value from the dropdown field in the ADOBE FORM, some particular section in the ADOBE FORM is not shown.
    Here's the ADS and NW versions that we were using.  We are running on EHP5 landscape.
    - ADS - 7.3 SPS 3
    - NW 7.3 SPS 3
    PS. The same program is working in EHP4 correctly.
    Any idea on how to resolve this issue?

    This is a custom built form, the thing is we just upgraded our system to EHP5 and we are in the test phase. The same form works in system in EHP4.
    Based on the dropdown list selection, there are some sections in the form which are hidden previously will be shown now. when you change the country in the dropdown the new sections appear. The sections will not be visible before you select the couuntry from dropdown.
    Should I upgrade my Adobe live cycle designer version to a higher one?

    I was having some difficulty trying to customize this dropdown list to a format very similar to one of the dropdown options on ebay.
    The cell is blank and has a drop down. Once you click the drop down, you will find the following
    relaxed
    straight leg
    other
    When you click "other," the field box now contains the  text that reads " Enter a Specific Value." and you are able to add in whatever text you want in the field
    That would be great if there was a way in LiveCycle to do something close to or exactly like this.
