Crash on Emulator (Motorola a1200)

Hi,
I use Netbeans, with many SDKs. One is the SDK of Motorola, using to develop application to Linux Mobile.
I need connect with server, but the emulator crash. With emulator of Symbian (S60) it works, but with this emulator not... the problem is in this line:
httpConnection = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(url);It crash in this line, and dont send any to the server. With S60 it send the parameters, and receibe correctly data...
How i solve my problem?
Thanks!

The code is normal for connections http, in the web exists...
This line, is in try/catch block, but it dont report exception... i dont understand..
I think that the problem is when the class Connection proccess the string connection, in this case is the URL.
How i have access to the description of class Conector?

  • MotoMing (aka Motorola A1200) with iSync

    It appears that the Motorola MotoMing (aka A1200) is not a supported device for iSync - does anyone know if there's a plug-in to rectify this or whether there's another program out there that will allow me to back-up my contacts and sync with the Address Book / Calendar functions on my mac?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Whether the Ming model you plan to use ships with the Linux OS or with Windows Mobile, there will be no iSync plug-in, as no support exists in the application for either operating system.
    iSync supports many Symbian and most Palm OS devices.
    Support for Windows Mobile 5 and earlier—and, soon—Windows Mobile 6 devices, is available from Mark/Space. Limited Windows Mobile support, including a beta release for Windows Mobile 5 devices, is available from Information Appliance Associates.
    Support for Blackberry devices is also available from Mark/Space, and from Information Appliance Associates.

  • J2MEWTK 1.0.2 and J2MEWTK 1.0.3

    I've installed version 1.0.3 and it runs well, but I want to know if I can use other classes for version 1.0.2, because it can for version 1.0.3.
    Thanks.

    I think he refers to the importing of classes placed in the "apps/libs" and "apps/<MIDLET>/libs" directories.
    and I suspect you are going 2 say no ;-)
    1 point i would like to raise with regard to j2mewtk 1.0.3 and its inclusion of the contents of the libs dir into the classpath.
    If you modify/replace a jar/zip file in the global libs dir, you have to delete all the classes in tmpclasses and tmplibs before any compiled midlet will use the new jar/zip file. Its incredibly tedious, and a cause of many bugs ;-(
    Also; i've found that recompiling a midlet that uses the old version of a global lib will infact replace the new lib file with the old 1 unless you delete the contents of tmplib/tmpclasses.
    example.
    I have a Midlet 'Defender'
    I also have a jar file 'Shared.jar' in the 'apps/lib' dir.
    If I replace the Shared.jar with a different version and recompile Defender (without deleting apps/tmplibs and apps/Defender/tmpclasses) Two things will happen
    1) Defender will compile using the old Shared.jar
    2) the 'new' Shared.jar in apps/lib will be replaced with the an Shared.jar - no idea where it is gettin this old Shared.jar from.
    ALSO
    an unrelated problem, but equally important.
    I have managed to write a midlet that works fine on win9x, but crashes the emulator in win2k.
    the error follows.
    'zayit.exe'
    The instruction at 0x77f8aa57" referenced memory at "0x00000034" the memory could not be "read".
    The memory address and instruction are the same everytime.
    Do you want me 2 post source?

  • Resizing Images in fly (while downloading)

    I have a program which downloads images in to File System and show it to the user, like an online album.The images are downloaded in multipart.Before showing the full image we first show the album (thumbnails).
    The problem we are facing is that the images downloaded are of very large byte length.To create thumnail of every images , we first create the image and then manipulate the pixels of the image using getRGB () to resize.
    But if the image is of larger byte lenght holding that much array or image crash the phone(Motorola V3i , )
    Do any one know about any reference we can look so that we can create the thumnail image from the byte array while it is been downloaded ?
    cheers
    Abhijith

    This option is already there.The problem comes when we are loading images from phone gallery,which were taken using device's native camera.
    When we create image for the thumnail creation the app crashes or shows out of memory.We are forced to show a message to the use that , the image is large and can not be shown into display.

  • Sony PDA -back-in-the-day

    Hello I have a Sony PEG-NX70U/V running on 4.1.0 and I use windows XP Media edition.  I use the Palm sync to update the Palm desktop for the calendar and my very extensive contacts / address book (including much use of the notes fields in many of my contacts).  I plan to get a smart phone soon (Android based if possible) and would like to know if I will be able to successfully sync all of my contacts to a new phone, which phone is the best to get and what apps and or bridge software will I need to completed the chore.  Last phone I synced was to a Motorola A1200 that runs on Linux (I think).  To get the A1200 to recognize my address book I deleted the Palm desktop and synced the Clie to Outlook on my PC.  Many of the fields in both the Clie and in Outlook got distorted, but over time I ditched Outlook, reinstalled the Palm desktop and cleared up all the errors.   Thankx for your time out there, cuz I an’t all that tecky.        Your alias, which will be your identity in this community. Just a little curious about your system and the old and new discs. How much RAM does your computer have? What kind of drive did you have before, and what did you replace it with?
    Is there any difference in RPM, cache size, ATA/66/100/133 etc. that might account for the difference in speed of the new drive?
    When an application needs more RAM than available in the computer, OS X will use virtual memory automatically as needed with space allocated on the hard drive. If you lack sufficient physical RAM, the hard disc may be more active than usual, and that might contribute to shorten the life span of the drive, if this becomes excessive.
    I wonder if the new disc OS installation has all the correct drivers for your particular computer's hardware? How did you get the new disc with the OS already preinstalled?

    I just got my replacement phone from Warranty. The phone was on for just 2 hours and it crashed. I was told that motorola knows about this "possible" issue. I got a new sim, hard reset, If it can be done I did it. They are now sending me the same phone again. Number 3. I would hope this one doesn't crash but I rather have a different phone so I can enjoy using my account. The phone's most recent error was today. " Unfortunately, the process com.motorola.widget.circlewidget3d" has stopped. At least the error message works and it's polite. I told tech this and they could not answer my question or help me other then "let's do a hard reset" My warranty replacement is coming on Monday. Let's hope this one works. Anyone else havinbg the same problem. it says "such and such as stop working" on all sorts of stuff! Help! I want my iPhone Back!

    I just did a google search on this issue. OMG, I got a ton of videos on this or similar issues. Each one says in some way to clear the cache, reset the data, etc. Why in the world would this continue to happen and they not do a fix that resloves this without having to lose or stop what your doing. This is a very long and constant issue it seems with Android phones as there must have been pages and pages of what I now call "Unfortunately"  So I am going to pray that Verizon helps me  out and gets me away from this issue and helps me go back to iPhone or try the Samsung.

  • ITunes crashes everytime I connect my Motorola SLVR

    When I connect my Motorola SLVR...
    SLVR says "Do not disconnect"
    iTunes attempts to update device and crashes with "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
    iTunes version is 6.0.2.23 on this laptop.
    Works fine on my desktop PC running previous iTunes version.
    Help!
    IBM ThinkPad T40   Windows XP Pro

    You should collect a crash log and send it to Apple so that the engineers can look at it.
    Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
    drwtsn32 -i
    And hit return.
    This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
    So, get the machine setup to collect crash logs, do the thing that makes iTunes crash. Send it to the Apple moderator as well as information about what version of iTunes you're using. Tell her Toonz sent you. It doesn't hurt to put the URL to this discussion thread, so that whoever gets it has some context.

  • AIR Native Extension Application Crash on Android Emulator when Extension method is invoked

    I have developed a Hello World Application using AIR Native Extension on Android Emulator and When i try to run the application its crashes. I was able to run same application sometimes back on Android Emulator on Mac. Right now I am using a Windows machine (as i dont have Mac anymore). I tried running same apk file which was compiled and running on Android emulator on Mac but it failed. Also i tried to recompile entire application from same code base but still it is failing. As far as i know Mac or windows should not play a part but still mentioning it out in the discussion. Also i tried running the application on various Android SDK version but with same results.

    Delete the package import at the begining of the code because that messes up the path and your emulator cant see the actual midlet code.

  • Soft key crashes program but works in Flash 8 emulator

    I am developing for the Nokia E62 in Flashlite 2.1 using
    Flash 8, The E62 is a Symbian S60 v 3 phone with a 320 x 240 pixel
    screen. The Flashlite 2.1 standalone player works fine on it but
    the phone comes only with a Flashlite 1.1 player. Flash 8 does not
    have a Flashlite 2.1 device profile available for the Nokia E62, so
    I am using teh generic Windows Mobile profile as it is the only one
    with the proper screen size.
    My program works on the emulator but when I test it on the
    phone, pressing the soft key crashes the program (my program quits
    but the standalone Flash 2,1 Player dos not die and I am returned
    to its menu fo choosing a movie to run.) In a previous version of
    the program, I was able to make the soft keys work fine on the
    phone so I know that the phone supports remapping softkeys.
    I am working in fullscreen mode so the Symbian system labels
    for the softkeys are not visible. Nonetheless, my past experience
    is that the program will crash if I do not use the fscommand2
    command:
    fscommand2("SetSoftKeys", "Menu", "Submit");
    Anyway, here is the code to handle softkeys which crashes on
    the phone when either soft key is pressed, but works on the
    emulator:
    fscommand2("SetSoftKeys", "Menu", "Submit");
    var softListener = new Object();
    softListener.onKeyDown = function() {
    var code = Key.getCode();
    switch(code) {
    case ExtendedKey.SOFT1:
    _root.gotoAndStop(3);
    break;
    case ExtendedKey.SOFT2:
    submit();
    break;
    Key.addListener(softListener);
    It appears that the phone crashes in the
    softListener.onKeyDown routine and not later on in the submit
    function.

    Thanks!
    What is the difference in how soft keys are used between AS 1
    and AS 2?
    I was publishing in Actionscript 2, but you are right, my
    code is AS1-style on the timeline, not AS2 using external class
    files. I wanted to publish as AS 2 to use strict typing in order to
    debug more easily.
    Except that in the snippet I sent, I declared
    var softLIstener = new Object() instead of
    var softListener:Object = new Object()
    and I did not do the type declarations in the function
    definition...
    So should I get rid of all the places where I did declare
    types and publish as AS1? Or do the declarations consistently and
    keep it AS2? If this is Flashlite 2.1, doesn't that mean I get
    Flash 7 - style AS 1 and not Flash 5 style? AS 1 prior to Flash MX
    is really limited and I don't remember it well. I thought AS 2 was
    backward compatible with AS 1 so that my hybrid code should work as
    AS 2. It does in the non-mobile versions of Flash...

    When I attempt to print to my cutepdf print emulator Firefox 9 crashes.

    Internet Explorer,  Firefox , Opera and Google Chrome are Browsers. Yahoo and Google, unless you are referring to Google Chrome are not browsers. The browser is what you need to change. there are three images below of three different browsers. You are probably using Internet Explorer. Switch to another browser for a test print.
    Google Chrome
    Firefox
    Opera
    Do you understand the term browser as an interface? It is a graphical user interface through which you connect to MSN and Yahoo to browse the internet.

  • Push Notification Background Task Crashes Emulator/Device

    I have a universal app for Win 8.1 and WinPhone 8.1. I have a background task triggered by push notifications, which has worked fine in my Win 8.1 app. I made the necessary changes as far as registration goes for the Phone 8.1 app, and as far as I can tell
    registration is fine. So I launch the app in the emulator, and send a raw notification using the 'Notification Simulator' tool. This does indeed trigger my background task JS file, but the emulator promptly crashes after displaying an error like "Network
    communication is no longer available" or some such. This happens even if I put a break point on the first statement of the background task script. I've also tried using a real push notification from my web service and that produces the same results (emulator/device
    crashing).
    I made a small test in which I changed my trigger type to a system event so I could manually trigger the background task via VS. Doing this, I was able to properly debug the background task script. So something is definitely messed up with the push notification
    trigger, but I have no idea what it could be. I've even copied my background task registration code to the 'RawNotifications Sample' app and that still works, so I know the registration code works. I've also copied the exact same code for the background task
    script from the sample app since I know that should work.
    The emulator crashing could be due to some errors I occasionally see in the background task, one of which is an 'Access denied' error when trying to access the
    'WebUIBackgroundTaskInstance.current' property inside the background task. Another error occurred when trying to access
    'ApplicationData.localSettings'. That one was something like 'failed to load state store'.
    If anyone can make sense of any of this that'd be wonderful. I can post some screenshots of errors, etc. later today for added clarification.
    Thanks.

    So I've done some more investigating and it turns out the
    sample app actually does not work as intended. When I thought it was working, I actually wasn't invoking the background task capability, but rather the
    pushnotificationreceived event on the notification channel. After running the part of the app that is supposed to run the background task on receiving a push notification, I get the same crashing behavior as my own application. Based on this,
    it would seem that Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview does not actually support background tasks triggered by push notifications.
    Here are some screenshots of the emulator after I try pushing a raw notification via the NSE.

    ALERT: java/lang/VerifyError: com/kelem/app/palm/Application.

    Ur Application is accessing a variable which has weak reference and its getting collected by garbage collector.I cant make out much from that but u can use println statements to get the values in the objects at different places , that way u will come to know where is the error.
