I am using Jdev11.1.13 version
In our application we are trying to implement the custom framework classes for tuxedo calls.
Before we are implemented(Tuxedo calls) using the Datasource entry in Entity.
but right now we have to implement tuxedo calls without using the datasource approach.
can anyone suggest

I'm getting the same thing. I created a new Apple ID via the Internet (appleid.apple.com) When I go to my device to try to use it, I have to review it first and in that process, I'm asked for a credit card or iTunes gift card. There is NO 'none' option.
I work in a school district and we'd like employees to use their own apple ID for free apps which will allow them the freedom to explore apps without weighing down our tech dept with myriad requests for random apps. I deal with a broad demographic and many users are suspicious of putting personal credit card info on an Internet-based account.
However, it appears they are locked out of the store unless they have some form of payment on file. Even if they enter a gift card, what happens when it's used up? Will they get locked out of the store if they don't have a balance?
Anyone have a work around? If not ... APPLE Please update your support materials to explain this, or fix the bug.

In my application, I have to create a Streamsource object using the below constructor:

This is not at all a good aproach because evey time it is creating a new file.
So can anyone suggest a better aproach or idea or a simple code snippet so that i can create the inputstream without creating a temporary file.

Err, a StreamSource is a Source. Check the Javadoc. You can pass it directly to the transform.

If you are using file-based installation, you can install as non-root user and create domains as usual. You can use asadmin command available at <AS_INSTALL>/bin to do this.
ex: ./asadmin create-domain domaindir /tmp/justfortest adminport 4850 --adminuser admin domain_nonroot_test
Did you face any problem doing this in non-root. Unless you have write permissions in domaindir, you won't be facing any problem.

How to create window key without using the trillium option

Hi,
I am having some problems when trying to create using the window key generator module in ODI data quality.
I created a business data parser for cleansing my records. This had to pass thru 4 routines, the transformer, parser, window key generator and the matcher routines. The transformer and parser routines have run properly but they window key generator is asking me to specify the window key.( I created the rules for the window key. Like last 3 consonants of last name and 5 digits of some ID). But this is not getting accepted when i am running it and pops an error message.
I also do not have the trillium module integrated with ODI as of now.
Can anyone help me with this problem or anyone has faced the same situation and have tried a work around for it.

How do you create an array without using a shell on the FP?

I want to be able to read the status of front panel controls (value, control box selection, etc.) and save it to a file, as a "configuration" file -- then be able to load it and have all the controls set to the same states as were saved in the file. I was thinking an array would be a way to do this, as I have done that in VB. (Saving it as a text file, then reading lines back into the array when the file is read and point the control(s) values/states to the corresponding array element.
So how do I create an array of X dimensions without using a shell on the front panel? Or can someone suggest a better way to accomplish what I am after? (Datalogging doesn't allow for saving the status by a filename, so I
do not want to go that route.)

I'm not sure I follow all the icons. Is that an array (top left with 0 constant) in the top example? And if so, that gets back to part of my original question of how to create an array without using a shell on the FP. Do I follow your diagram correctly?

I simply wrote a key for each control, and read back that key on initialization. I simply passed in property node values to the save VI at the end, and passed the values out to property nodes at
the beginning. I've attached my initialize and save VI's for you to view. If you have so many controls that this would not be feasible, you may want to look into clustering the controls and saving the cluster as a datalog file.

How to create a DVD in iDVD6 without menu (there are several options)
1. Easy. Drop your iMovie in the auto-play box in iDVD's Map View, then set your auto-play item (your movie) to loop continuously.
Disadvantage. The DVD plays until you hit stop on the remote
2. Still easy. If you don't want your (auto-play) movie to loop, you can create a black theme by replacing the background of a static theme with a black background and no content in the drop-zone (text needs to be black as well).
Disadvantage. The menu is still there and will play after the movie. You don't see it, but your disc keeps spinning in the player.
3. Still quite easy but takes more time. Export the iMovie to DV tape, and then re-import using One-Step DVD.
Disadvantage. One-Step DVD creation has been known to be not 100% reliable.
4. (My preferred method) Easy enough but needs 3rd party software. Toast lets you burn your iMovie to DVD without menu - just drag the iMovie project to the Toast Window and click burn.
Disadvantage. you'll need to spend some extra $$ for the software. In Toast, you just drop the iMovie project on the Window and click Burn.
5. The "hard way". Post-production with myDVDedit (free-ware)
Tools necessary. myDVDedit ( www.mydvdedit.com )
• create a disc image of your iDVD project, then double-click to mount it.
• Extract the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders to a location of your choice. select the VIDEO_TS folder and hit Cmd + I to open the Inspector window
• Set permissions to "read & write" and include all enclosed items; Ignore the warning.
• Open the VIDEO_TS folder with myDVDedit. You'll find all items enclosed in your DVD in the left hand panel.
• Select the menu (usually named VTS Menu) and delete it
• Choose from the menu File > Test with DVD Player to see if your DVD behaves as planned. If it works save and close myDVDedit.
• Before burning the folders to Video DVD, set permissions back to "read only", then create a disc image burnable with Disc Utility from a VIDEO_TS folder using Laine D. Lee's DVD Imager.

Creating an Adobe .pdf file without using the Adobe printer

Is it possible to create a .pdf file by using Acrobat or Microsoft Word or any other program without using a printer driver? So far, when I remove the Adobe printer, I cannot create a .pdf file, as it is looking for the printer and printer driver. Not sure if I can use the CRMV_EVENT. Even I'm not aware how to use that. Let me tell what i am doing in the logic.
- implementing the logic in the badi order_save (method - CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE)
- get the header and item details using the FM CRM_ORDER_READ.
- get the status of header / item from the output of CRM_ORDER_READ.
- compare the status with the custom table (having info of hearder type, item type, status, tast id, task description etc)
- if status is different, create the task using the details from the custom table.
now i want to write the logic to implement the last step. Do we have any standard FM where I can pass the task ID and it will create the task? Please help.

How can I publish an App to a selected group of people ( not via App Store) without using the Adobe Content Viewer?

You'd have to sign up for an Apple Developer account and then gather all the UDID's (Apple limits this to only 100 devices) that you want your app to be installed on. Create your mobile provisioning profiles to include these ID's and then you could use TestFlight to push out your app and monitor who has installed it. Of course Testflight is intended for monitoring your apps performance but I'm sure you can get away with it if you use it to push you app. One thing to keep in mind is the mobile provisoning profiles are only valid for 1 year. Using new does not erase anything. There's nothing to erase. It's brand new. It creates a new instance, and whatever that constructor puts in there, is there. If you then change the contents of that instance, and you want to see them, you have to have maintained a reference to it somewhere, and access that instance's state through that reference.
As already stated, you seem to be confused between class and instance, at the very least.
Run this. Study the output carefully. Make sure you understand why you see what you do. Then, if you're still confused, try to rephrase your question in a way that makes some sense based on what you've observed.
(And not that accessing a class (static) member through a reference, like foo1.getNumFoos() is syntactically legal, but is bad form, since it looks like you're accessing an instance (non-static) member. I do it here just for demonstration purposes.)

is it possible to leverage existing HR Admin Services (HCM processes and Forms) functionality without using the Enterprise Portal?
1) Create an Adobe form and Interface using SFP
2) Set up ISR and Form Scenario
3) Set up Forms configuration to use existing Backend and generic Services
4) Set up workflow to updated Backend using Services
is it possible to do the above steps and not use the Portal? If Yes, how do we present the forms to the Manager, and provide different buttons that appears on the Portal by default?

Hi Saurabh,
your assumptions and findings (items can not be started from the backend workflow inbox etc.) are correct: These processes can not be started without the Portal and it is not intended to do this.
The above mentioned backend report are only forseen for implementation and testing purposes and not for productive use.
In addition to the fact, that you already can't execute the work items a lot of other features of the framework (Process Browser etc.) are only available through the Portal.

RPM - How to re-process prices without using the front end.

Hi all,
There is a way of re-processing prices without using the front end? For instance, using the front end, a new clearance is created state in rpm_clearance ‘pricechange.State.conflictCheckforApproved’ and changed for ‘pricechange.State.worksheet’ after the conflict check.
Now, I want to re-process the same clearance without using the front end. I’ve tried to change again the STATE to ‘pricechange.State.conflictCheckforApproved’ but no success. Any suggestions?

Can I create a radio station using the music in my iTunes library?

I have iTunes 12 installed on my 2014 MacBook Pro and late-2008 aluminium unibody MacBook. My husband and I share the MacBook and he wants to access my iTunes library because his is empty.
A friend told me that the easiest way to do this in iTunes 12 is to create a radio station using my music in my iTunes library. My iTunes music folder is just over 35GB in size (if that's relevant). Almost all of the music (>95%) is from my CDs that I've copied into iTunes over the years.
I would be really grateful if someone could tell me how I go about doing this because I'm afraid that I haven't been able to find any instructions on just how I go about this.

Here are other ways to share your library but it only works if you're both on the same network: Enable Home Sharing under iTunes/File Menu and read the iTunes Help entry for Home Sharing for additional info. It will allow up to 5 computers on your network to play and download items from your iTunes Library. Alternatively, you can enable "Share My Library On My Local Network" under iTunes Preferences which allows up to 5 computers to play any content in your library but without the ability to download them.
I assume you keep your iTunes Library synchronized on both computers. If you have it also on the MacBook, this Apple support document will explain how to share your iTunes Library with multiple users on the same computer. This is by far the easiest and always available without using the network.
