  • Creating Web Service in Eclipse with Axis and Tomcat

    Hi I'm quite new to web services. But I got a compiled class that i want to create a web service of. Since this class is compiled and lies in a package I can't just use the WTP and create a Buttom Up Web Service. So I created av wrapper class to this class to see if that would solve the problem, but i still get error messages that it's not JAX-RPC compliant. I've decompiled the class file I want to create a web service of and made a wrapper class with an interface around this class.
    package org.ejbca.core.protocol.ocsp;
    import org.bouncycastle.ocsp.*;
    public class OCSPResponse
    public OCSPResponse()
    resp = null;
    fnr = null;
    httpReturnCode = 200;
    errCode = 0;
    public OCSPResponse(OCSPResp ocspresp)
    resp = null;
    fnr = null;
    httpReturnCode = 200;
    errCode = 0;
    resp = ocspresp;
    public int getHttpReturnCode()
    return httpReturnCode;
    public void setHttpReturnCode(int code)
    httpReturnCode = code;
    public int getErrorCode()
    return errCode;
    public void setErrorCode(int code)
    errCode = code;
    public String getFnr()
    return fnr;
    public void setFnr(String fnr)
    this.fnr = fnr;
    public OCSPResp getResp()
    return resp;
    public void setResp(OCSPResp resp)
    this.resp = resp;
    public int getStatus()
    Something
    private OCSPResp resp;
    private String fnr;
    private int httpReturnCode;
    private int errCode;
    OCSPResp is an object from boncycastle, as i found out one of the problems is that OCSPResponse is a non Non-Built-In Data Type and don't just contain bulit-in datatypes.
    So can anybody give me a detaild input on how to solve this problem, including some hints on how to create a wrapper incase I've done something wrong.

  • Is it the same create web service in netweaver CE7.1 and create in ECC6.0?

    Hi.
    I have some questions about ECC 6.0 and netweaver CE 7.1
    1.  I want to test webservice in ECC6.0.
         At this time I have no this product, butI have downloaded netweaver CE 7.1 trial version (contains java edition).
         If I create web service in netweaver CE 7.1 trial version(contains java edition) environment, is it same as create
         web service in ECC6.0?
    2.  If I call this web service in netweaver CE7.1 from third party(such as JSP on another machine), is it same as call webservice in
         ecc6.0 from http client?
    3.  What relationship and difference between ECC6.0, netweaver 7.1 and netweaver CE 7.1?
    Thanks.

    Two comments:
    1) The generated proxy looks correct.  If you explore the generated code for the InputParams object and the Rowset object, they should represent the incoming and outgoing data structures for your transaction.  If not, and if you are returning an XML property type from the transaction, be sure that you have used the "Assign Reference Document" technique to tell MII what the structure of your outgoing document is (there are a few other discussion threads on that topic).
    2) Personally, I find it much easier to consume MII services from .NET code using a URL-based technique instead of a SOAP based technique.  Invoke the "Runner" servlet (see the documentation) and you'll get an XML document back, that will always be in the MII Rowsets/Rowset/Row format.  Also, it is "self describing" because it includes Column metadata information.  It is very trivial to load this into a .NET XmlDocument object and parse/process it.  In fact, doing a similar approach, I've been able to make MII services appear as ADO.NET tables/stored procedures to .NET code.

  • Web service consumer wizard in ECC 6.0 SP17

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create web service consumer using the wizard. I completed the step and click finish button at the end of the wizard. However, the process is just stop there and the main menu SAP Easy Access is displayed. No objects created.
    I can generate the object after clicking the finish in the wizard on ECC 6.0 SP15.
    Any idea on what can I do to generate objects so I can consume the webservice?
    Additional info: When I tried this on different system with SP17, I got message 'no vendor specified' after the wizard analyzing WSDL given in the url. No service provider object is created after that message is displayed. It is a success message (green).
    Thanks,
    Iwan

    Update: I had a brain ****... when selecting Create -> Web Service, there is an options for Service Consumer, which I thought this is how you generate the proxy. Actually I need to select Create -> Proxy Object. When I select the proxy object, it works just fine. A class is generated.
    However, in different system, there is no option to create Web Service and Proxy Object. It's on SP17 as well. I'm going to do additional research since in that system I do not have proper auth. for SICF transaction.

    Hi
    Q :- we activate ICF service? How?
    Just goto TCODE - SE38 and run program - RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES
                                                                    SXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES
    some ICF service must be inactive
    Activating ICF service is a generic requirement.

  • No result while creating a service consumer with Web Service Wizzard

    Hi,
    I've tried to create a service consumer with Web Service Wizzard in SE80 by using URL/HTTP Destination but nothing happens. After the popup with logondata for the WSDL I get the CRM start screen and nothing has been created in the given package.
    technical details:
    I use a CRM 5.0 system with SP15 (SAPKB70015).
    I created the provider service at a 7.10 system with SP5 (SAPKB71005) via SPROXY, SOAMANAGER and WSPUBLISH and get the WSDL-URL from Service Registry.
    The Service Registry of the 7.10 system serves as central Service Registry.
    Has anybody an idea ?
    Christoph

    Guy,
    Thanks for your reply.
    This problem has been solved. Since I haven't turned on everything that to use transaction SOAMANAGER needs. After complete the switch-on works, the problem never happens again.
    Thanks again.

    the proxy is the object that make possible to use the service; even if service and consumer are on the same host, you need a proxy to use it.

    I need to consume web service in PI 7.3 and create file from response. I have WSDL for the web service. Now confused about datatype/message type. Is there any document/note to follow?
    ==>
    Hi,
    There are 2 ways you can do this :-
    If your sender is a file and receiver is a webservice and you want to map the response back to the file then :-
    Sol 1 :- Async-Sync Bridge using RequesResponse Oneway bean
    Sender File channel ---> Soap Receiver Channel
    Soap Receiver Channel brings the response back to the File Receiver Channel.
    Now this File Receiver Channel should be called inside the Sender File Channel using the above bean.
    Data Type :
    Src - File struc to SOAP request (WSDL used as an external definition)(mapping 1)
    SOAP response(WSDL used as an external definition) to Tgt File Struc (mapping 2)
    Sol 2 :- Async Scenario
    Make a Sender File Channel --> use SOAP lookup channel (pass the request payload through the SOAP receiver channel) --> Map the response back to the File using File Receiver Channel.
    Data Type:
    Src - File struc to Tgt File Struc (mapping 1). Since you are passing the request payload through SOAP lookup in the UDF itself.

    Hello Mithun,
    Does this section in the documentation help you:
    SAP Cloud Applications Studio Help -> Developers Desktop -> Web Services
    The entry "Task -> Create a Web Service" describes how to create a Web Service on your own BO
    The entry "Task -> Test a Web Service" helps you how you can use it in a foreign tool / application.

    public class MultiSecSSL {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            try {
                MultiSecuritySSLAuthImpl serviceInterface = new MultiSecuritySSLAuthImpl();
                SSLBindingStub service = (SSLBindingStub)serviceInterface.getLogicalPort(MultiSecuritySSLAuthViDocument.class);
                SecurityProtocol protocol = (SecurityProtocol) service._getGlobalProtocols().getProtocol("SecurityProtocol");
                AuthenticationContext auth = protocol.getAuthenticationContext();
                auth.setIgnoreSSLServerCertificate(true);
                auth.setUsername("cfpcompany");
                auth.setPassword("demo");
                String ret = service.pingText("Called service MultiSecurity via SSL");
                System.out.println(ret);
            } catch (Exception e) {
                 e.printStackTrace(System.out);
    Here comes the logical port information of the generated proxy:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <LogicalPorts Name='MultiSecuritySSLAuth' InterfaceName='priv.senw04.wsproxy.multisec_ssl.MultiSecuritySSLAuth'>

    To me, this looks consistent. Any idea, what is misconfigured on my machine ?

    Hi Martin,
    that is exactly, what I did.
    - Change Web Service Configuration in IDE
    - Build and Deploy the Service to my local Server
    - Check Service in Visual Administrator
    - Deleted and Regenerated the Standalone Proxy
    - Deleted and Recreated the link between CLient and Proxy Project in IDE
    - Started Client
    Here comes the section of the ws-deployment-descriptor.xml of the service. For me, it matches, what the proxy generated.

  • NetBeans 5.5 and creating web services top-down

    Is it possible to take a pre-written WDSL and create a web service from this in NetBeans 5.5. I've had a look at the NetBeans website but can't seem to find anything relevant to this. It only specifies how to create a web service bottom up from a Java class.
    Thanks.

    SoapUI is only really used for testing web services i.e. you give it a WSDL and it'll generate sample requests with which you can then make calls to the web service.
    I was thinking more along the lines of what Eclispse WTP allows you to do i.e. import an existing WSDL into your web project then generate the Java code for the web service (not client). This way the WSDL could be developed first before any code is written.
