Hi,
can any body know how to create WSDL from peoplesoft.
Thanks In Advance
Karthik

Dear,
I 'm able to use the top down approach to create the web service using WSDL/XSD file. The problem i 'm facing is that if i want to return multiple values from the web service, how do i set them as output parameters. With one output parmater it works fine as i have the following in the code:
return result;
Any assistance will be highly appreciated
Thanks,

  • Creating WSDL

    Hi All:
    While creating WSDL what does the Step 3 : Specify the interface means in ID>Tools->Define WS
    Here I am creating SOAP to File (Asynch Scenario)
    So while creating .wsdl from ID...what I have to specify in the Step 3 of the Define Webservice window.
    is it the receiver interface(in my case inbound interface of File??) or it will be the Outbound interface i.e for SOAP?
    Will Rewards points for currect answer
    Thanks
    Farooq.

    Select your outbound interface, also you can refer the section  3.1 of this How to guide to create a wsdl.

  • How to create WSDL

    hi all
    how to create WSDL in webservice model
    Thanks
    jay

    Abstract wsdl's are not supported in OSB. You will require atleast upto bindings section in the wsdl that needs to be used in osb. By'used' I mean wsdl's that can be associated to a wsdl based business or proxy service.
    If you need to maintain abstract wsdl's, the best way is to define your message types and port types in an abstract wsdl and then import it into a concrete wsdl where you can add additional bindings and service tags. Use the concrete wsdl in the wsdl based proxy or business service.

  • Creating wsdl from a bapi

    I need to create a wsdl from a bapi. I would appreciate any reference materials on this topic. As an example, I need to create a wsdl for business object sales order and my wsdl should include create, change, and  display. We are on ECC 6.0.  When I go to a bapi, under tools, I don't see the option to create wsdl. Suitable points will surely be awarded.

  • Create WSDL from SOAP request, response and endpoint URL

    We have a program that does not create WSDL for us but we do have a SOAP request, response XML file and the endpoint URL as well.
    How can I create WSDL file from these?
    If that is not possible, how can I create a Java web service client (JEE 5.0) when I have only the SOAP request and response XML and the endpoint URL? Some tutorial or any explanation to point me to the right direction would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you very much,
    Genti

    The endpoint is:
    http://servername/appname/service/rpcrouter
    and we have SOAP request and repsonse that we can build from the application but also the documentation that is provided
    The documentation says about the web service:
    Built on top of a pre-Axis version of Apache SOAP
    No WSDL support
    Uses literal encoding for Web Service calls
    Adding WSDL at the end of the endpoint does nothing at this point.
    Thank you for the reply though,

  • "Unable to load URL" error when importing VS2008 created WSDL

    One of my developers created a simple web service in Visual Studio 2008 that queries a database on our SQL Server 2005. I can view the web service results in a web browser with no problems. I can also pull up the WSDL in the web browser with no problems (http://<ip address>/Service.asmx?WSDL). However, when I try to load WSDL into a Web Service Connection in Xcelsius 2008, I get the "Unable to load URL" error.
    I've also tried to use the web service as a data source in Crystal Reports 2008, but I get another error:
    Logon failed.
    Details: Schema file is invalid
    error: src-resolve: element 'schema@http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema' not found
    I've seen a post in which it looked like Crystal acknowledged this as a bug in the XML driver used by Crystal products, but it should be fixed in a service pack update. I've got the latest service packs and fix packs installed for both Xcelsius 2008 and Crystal Reports 2008.
    I scanned the information being sent/returned to Xcelsius using Fiddler and it looks like the request is getting through and the actual WSDL file is being returned to Xcelsius, so it shouldn't be an authentication issue. It seems like Xcelsius doesn't like the WSDL file for some reason. However, it is automatically generated by Visual Studio 2008.
    Any ideas as to how I can get Xcelsius to use this test web service?

    Having the same issues here also.
    I can see the wsdl file being accessed successfully in the web access log, but Xcelsius v5.3 return "unable to load URL"
    Only thing I can guess is that the schema is "untyped"
    So, nobody in SAP has a solution?

  • Pbm creating WSDL in Weblogic Server 9.2

    Hi,
    I deployed my web service in Weblogic Server 9.2. I tested the web service from the generated test script. Everything seems to work fine. Now I tried to create a stand-alone Java Client from the WSDL using MyEclipse.
    MyEclipse is complaining this:
    "Error resolving component 'java:FotoInqResult'. It was detected that 'java:FotoInqResult' is in a namespace 'java:com.dps.foto', but components from this namespace are not referenceable from schema document 'http://localhost:7001/FotoWebservice/FotoInq?WSDL'. If this is the incorrect namespace, perhaps the prefix of 'java:FotoInqResult' needs to be changed. If this is the correct namespace then an appropriate import tag should be added to 'http://localhost:7001/FotoWebservice/FotoInq?WSDL'."
    Here is my WSDL:

  • Error creating WSDL file

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to create a WSDL file with wsdeploy from my server classes, but it fails. My build.xml process-war syntax is somewhat similar to that of the Hello example, and the procedure is just the same; first create WEB-INF, then create portable war-file and finally create deployable war-file. The deployable war, src-jaxrpc.war is created, but it doesn't contain the WSDL file. Here are its contents:
    META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
    src/Harj2IF.class
    src/Harj2Impl.class
    WEB-INF/classes/src/LibImpl.class
    WEB-INF/classes/src/LibIF.class
    WEB-INF/web.xml
    WEB-INF/jaxrpc-ri-before.xml
    WEB-INF/Library_model.xml.gz
    WEB-INF/web-before.xml
    WEB-INF/jaxrpc-ri-runtime.xml
    The error message I get with wsdeploy is this:
    [exec] info: created temporary directory: D:\Service\build\wsdeploy-generated\jaxrpc-deploy-ec04fc
    [exec] info: processing endpoint: Library
    [exec] error: class java.lang.StackTraceElement does not have a public accessible empty constructor
    [exec] info: created output war file: D:\Service\dist\src-jaxrpc.war
    My config.xml looks like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <configuration
         xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jax-rpc/ri/config">
    <wsdl location="http://localhost:9080/src-jaxrpc/src?WSDL"
    packageName="src"/>
    </configuration>
    And my jaxrpc-ri.xml looks like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <webServices
    xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jax-rpc/ri/dd"
    version="1.0"
    targetNamespaceBase="http://com.test/wsdl"
    typeNamespaceBase="http://com.test/types"
    urlPatternBase="/ws">
    <endpoint
    name="Library"
    displayName="Example Library v.1.0"
    description="A simple Web application"
    interface="src.LibIF"
    implementation="src.LibImpl"/>
    <endpointMapping
    endpointName="Library"
    urlPattern="/src"/>
    </webServices>
    My LibIF.java looks like this:
    package src;
    import java.rmi.Remote;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import javax.xml.parsers.ParserConfigurationException;
    import org.xml.sax.SAXException;
    import java.rmi.RemoteException;
    public interface LibIF extends Remote {
    public boolean initDocument(String fileName) throws IOException, ParserConfigurationException, SAXException, RemoteException;
    public boolean addB(String fileName) throws IOException, RemoteException;
    public boolean removeB(String fileName) throws IOException, RemoteException;
    public boolean showB(String fileName) throws IOException, ParserConfigurationException, SAXException, RemoteException;
    public boolean findB() throws IOException, RemoteException;
    public boolean rewriteB(String fileName) throws IOException, RemoteException;
    Could someone even suggest any solution based on this information?

    Are u trying out the example frm that Web Service Book frm that some publisher, He must be using xrpcc. Ok
    .........For WSDL file not to be created there are few reasons and in them I kno one. For wsdeploy tool to create the wsdl file it reads the jaxrpc-ri.xml file and the war file.
    ........for the proper working of this, the impl file shd have methods which throw Remote exceptions and no errors, of course It does compile in the earlier command execution but.. few minute errors like the above might prevent the creation of wsdl file, chk these and try
    ........Hope it wrks..........|ABY|

  • Problem in Creating .wsdl file and mapping.xml with ant

    hi
    i am created my .wsdl file and mapping.xml file with wscompile tool but when i run this by ant tool it show a problem.
    the command runs on command prompt but when run throught ant file it shows a following error :-
    Execute failed: java.io.IOException: CreateProces: wscompile -define -mapping build\classes\META-INF\mapping.xml -d . -nd build\.................and so on
    so if anybody have any idea then plz help me asap
    thanx

    The following Ant snippet is the way I've defined my wscompile task. I'm creating a web application and it looks like yours might be an EJB endpoint, but you can adjust where necessary:
    <taskdef name="wscompile" classname="com.sun.xml.rpc.tools.ant.Wscompile">
         <classpath refid="compile.classpath" />
    </taskdef>
    <target name="init">
         <echo message="-------- ${appname} --------" />
    </target>
    <!-- This target compiles the server components using an existing WSDL as the driving document.
           The configuration file must use the <wsdl> element giving the location (local file system
           or URL) of the WSDL document.
           Note: the fork argument is needed to over come a bug when using the mapping argument. See
           http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=592994&tstart=0
      -->
         <target name="generate-server-from-WSDL" depends="init">
              <wscompile fork="yes"
                           keep="true"
                           base="${basedir}/WebContent/WEB-INF/classes"
                           import="true"
                           features="wsi"
                           xPrintStackTrace="true"
                           verbose="true"
                           mapping="${basedir}/WebContent/WEB-INF/jaxrpc-mapping.xml"
                           sourcebase="${basedir}/src"
                           config="${config.server.doclit.file}">
                   <classpath>
                        <path refid="compile.classpath" />
                   </classpath>
              </wscompile>
         </target>
         <target name="compile-server-from-WSDL" depends="generate-server-from-WSDL">
              <javac srcdir="${basedir}/src" destdir="${basedir}/WebContent/WEB-INF/classes" debug="${compile.debug}">
                   <classpath refid="compile.classpath" />
              </javac>
         </target>Just make sure that the named destination directories exist before you run the script.

    it depends on the selection algorithm you have on the proxyservce
    on the fourth tab you can dispatch based on soapaction/body/header/etc
    you could dispatch on the soapaction and skip the body

  • Creating WSDL for Java Application/ JSP Page

    I am looking for creating a Webservice(WSDL) for a Java application which connects to the R/3 System Backend. I have tried to connect to the Backend using JCO in JSP page and was successful, but I need to generate a WSDL file which when consumed performs the connection and looks up for the data in the Backend. The FrontEnd can be a JSP application or a Java Application in NetWeaver.

    The easiest thing to do is put it in a JAR file with an appropriate manifest. That way it retains cross-platform functionality, which is kind of the point of writing things in Java. The JAR file will be double-clickable.
    If you absolutely must put it in an .exe for some reason, there are applications on the web that will do it.
    Either way, a google search is your next step.

  • Cannot creat WSDL from......

    Hi,
    I am trying to download a WSDL file throught the webservices navigator. I get the error as
    <b>Cannot download WSDL from ...<URL>...Cannot connect to ...<URL>... Network is unreachable: connect</b>
    When i give the URL in the internet explorer, i can see the WSDL.
    Please let me know what should be done to solve this.
    Regards,
    Raghu

    i guess in your case the network would have a proxy. So in visual admistrator you need to do the proper settings to connect to the WSDL via the WS navigator link.
    Note: From the WS navigator help page;
    <i>Enter WSDL
    Web Services Navigator is a tool that gives you a short overview for a specific Web service, based on its WSDL and allows you to create and send a client request to the real endpoint.
    <b>In order to continue specify the location of the WSDL. Note the WSDL URL must be reachable from the server where this Web Services Navigator is installed. If http proxy is needed, be sure it is configured properly from the Visual Administrator.</b>
    A tree with the local for the server web services is shown too. Expand it in order to get the WSDL in a specific style.</i>

  • Creating WSDL file using Netbeans and JAX-WS

    I have created a web service called calculator in Netbeans IDE.
    I build the project and deployed in Tomcat.
    When I accessed WSDL file i getting as follows
    *<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>*
    - <definitions xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:tns="http://actions.calculator.com/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" targetNamespace="http://actions.calculator.com/" name="calculatorService">
    - <types>
    - <xsd:schema>
    *<xsd:import schemaLocation="http://localhost:8080/calculator/calculator?xsd=1" namespace="http://actions.calculator.com/" />*
    *</xsd:schema>*
    *</types>*
    etc.......
    here schema is imported from another file...
    I need schema to included in the WSDL file itself.
    How can i get a WSDL file like this??
    I am using Netbeans 5.5 and JAX-WS 2.0

    Hi,
    Change the <soap:binding style="document"... to <soap:binding style="rpc"... and see if that works.
    I'm not sure how to get <soap:binding style="document"... working yet - I'm not that experienced in web services yet.
    Hope this helps and is not too late.

    Greg Nye
