Creating a cloum in ABAP QUERY

I need modify an existing ABAP QUERY REPORT.
I have user group and Report name.
I am using SQ03 T-CODE.
1) How can I add a colum for this report. this colum to be added between two existing columns.
2)I need to add two fields in selection screen. How can I add them?
3)How can I modify the existing query by adding more conditions with two fields included on the selection screen
please help me.

Dear do these steps.
1. Open SQ01
2, enter your query name.
3. Press Quick Veiwer button.
4. in new opened , enter change.
5. in the left side you have all tables joined , select new field from here to be added.
6.go to tab list fld. selected
select row where you want to insert your field and enter the same here
7. go to selection field tab
8. from possible selection fields insert new selection parameter.
9. save and see the output.

. Make a transaction with parameters transaction from se93 .
2. Put START_REPORT in the transaction
3. Check the skip intial screen checkbox
4. in the table control in the end of screen put these values
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE = AQ
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = <USER GROUP in WHICH THE QUERY IS CREATED> G
(G stands for GLOBAL AREA:)(Entered after a space)(G should come after 9
chanracters(8 char for user group,one space and then G)
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT = <QUERY NAME>

The requirement is that i want to create tcode for abap query and that query can be regenearted ,
in case of regeneration programe name i got answer programame name will be change, i created and modified query but i saw the same programe name ,,, may be it changed when it is trasnported if so then what ??
and also pls give me solution for asiging tcode for query which is going to be regenerated.

Dear Farukh,
As we know,
Query is created in Production server and a corresponding program is generated by System.
What we have to do is just to assign the program to the desired transaction code in Development server and transport it.
If you have any doubts please let me know.

I must create a SE38- report that simulate the selection of a query in sq02.
How can I do for call the query in my own report? (I know all...user group, name, structure name)
I can do other elaboration from data after the calling of the query data?

Thanks to all, it's allright.
I found the program using the other function in 'Query' menù and copy with all the includes in my own report.
Than, it was easy.

Creating TCODE for ABAP Query

Hello everyone! I have created my very first ABAP Query, but I still need to create/assign TCODE for the said report. Can anyone help me with it? Somebody told me to use SE93. I found out that there are 5 options in SE93 to create a TCode, I tried all options but I could not get through it because I was asked for a program name or a transaction. What should I put in there? The query name? Please help.

HI Ervyone! Got it Already. To Get the program name of the ABAP Query,
         1. Go to SQ01> Query Menu>More Function--> Generate Program
         2. Go to SQ01> Query Menu>More Function--> Display Report Name. Copy the Report Name that Will be displayed.
         3. Go to SE93 Enter the TCODE that you want to use, then click on Create BUtton. Choose the second option "Program
              and Selection Screen (Report Option)". The next screen will ask for your program name, Paste/copy the program
              name and save it.

Add 2 new fields to an existing ABAP query in a particular position

Hello,
I have added 2 new fields to an existing ABAP query. These have been successfully added and the query is also executing.
But these 2 new fields are displaying at last. I need to add these fields in a particular column position.
Also I need to change the heading of these 2 new fields.
I tried to do so from the basic list, layout design from SQ01.
But I could not.... whatever I do.. the 2 new fields are displayed at the end of the list...
Please help me

we want transport ABAP Queries from one SAP instance to another..these ABAP Queries under Global area (cross client).
please suggest me how to create a transport request to transport these old queries , one more thing is all standard area (client specific) queries are copied .

Drill Down in Abap Query

Hi experts,
i would like to ask how to create drill down in Abap Query. I would like to double click on my PO field and call transaction ME23N to display the particular PO. Please advise.

go to sq01 and enter your query and hit change button
On this screen - from menu hit Goto and click on the report assignment
on popup click on the insert raw (Green excel kind of symbol) and then hit other report and select transaciton and enter the tcode of transaction. in you case enter ME23N or ME23.
this will open the po once you click on the report line of the PO.

Universe Based on ABAP QUERY?

Can we create a universe based on an ABAP Query( As far as i know its not possible directly to create universe based on ABAP Query). Is there any other way i can create a universe based on ABAP query.

There is a prototype available from the Labs site which allows to create a Universe on top of an ABAP function and a report in WebIntelligence. It is using the Data Federator technology to translate SQL into ABAP.

How to create an ABAP Query with OR logical expression in the select-where

Hi,
In trying to create an ABAP query with parameters. So it will select data where fields are equal to the parameters entered. The default logical expression is SELECT.. WHERE... AND.. However I want to have an OR logical expression instead of AND.. how can I attain this??

You cannot just replace AND with OR in an ABAP QUERY. ABAP QUERY is a self generated SAP code. You'll just declare the tables, input parameters and output fields to be displayed and it will create a SAP standard code. If you'll try to change the code and replace the AND with OR in the SAP standard code, the system will require you to enter access key/object key for that particular query.

Like what I have said, this is a standard SAP code so we can't do your suggestion.
I have already tried to insert a code in the ABAP query (there's a part there wherein you can have extra code) but that didn't work. Can anybody help me on this.

Performance tuning for ABAP Query (created from t-cd SQ01)

Hello all,
We created ABAP Query report from transaction SQ01.
But the generated report has an appropriate SQL statement which causes performance problem.
To solve this issue, I guess the easiest way is;
0. Give up to use it.
1. Copy it to another object in the customer namespace.
2. Ajust SQL statement.
But I'm wondering if there're appropriate ways to adjust SQL statement of Query.
Could anybody give me any better idea?

You can try this: Create 2 ranges, for objnr and cdtcode and fill like:
ra_objnr-sign = 'I'.
ra_objnr-option = 'CP'.
ra_objnr-low = 'OR*'.
append ra_objnr.
ra_code-sign = 'I'.
ra_code-option = 'CP'.
ra_code-low = 'CO*'.
append ra_code.
SELECT objnr udate utime
FROM jcds
INTO TABLE it_jcds
WHERE objnr IN ra_objnr
AND stat = l_tj02t
AND cdtcode IN ra_code
AND inact = space

Use Table BSIK <Open Items of AP > & BSAK <AP Cleared items>......
For Query you can use SQ01.
USE BSID & BSAD for AR open/clear items...
LFA1, LFB1 are vendor master data tables
