Creating appstore account

Hi, i have a problem. I would like to download some apps to my touch but i cant create a account in my country. I come from Slovakia, where it should normally work. When i try to enter my credit card number, the iTunes just wont take it. My touch is 2.1, iTunes 8... I have everything what i need but i still cant donwload anything... pls help

First, what's the country of the Store that you're trying to create the account in? It must be necessarily the Slovakian Store, as the Credit Card it's also from there.
Also, make sure you're typing all information correctly!

You can't. Apps and really all content purchased/downloaded through one Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. In the case of Apps they will always request that Apple ID to update as they are licensed to that Apple ID.
In reality, the Apps were licensed to that Apple ID by the developer. And cannot simply be given away to you for you to use.
He should have wiped the iPod clean so you could set it up for your use without any of his accounts or purchased content as you are not really licensed to any of those Apps.

Are you in the U.S?
Does your credit card have a valid billing address in the U.S?
Both of these things ahev to happen before you can use the itunes store in the U.S.

Creating an AppStore Account with an existing Apple ID WITHOUT Credit Card

I am trying quite diligently to create an account for use in the app store for free apps. I know the method everyone speaks of, of being in the app store and trying to purchase a free app. however I am trying to use an ID I have already created and it doesn't give me the payment option "none" Any Help??

I suppose so...if you had a credit card to enter on file. Plus people are pretty sketchy about credit cards these days...even if it is family. I know that someone was able to resolve this, I just don't know how. I even called apple Support and the Agent I was speaking to, although very polite and nice, didn't know...he just kept spinning in circles...I am just hoping that someone can help me with what seems to be a unique situation.

Itunes not letting you create a account without a credit card

Normally you can create an account without using a credit card, I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find someway to get around the not having a credit card or pay pal account, and yes I did read the article on how to get around it, but the problem is that when you create the account it doesn't give you the option of no payment at this time. HELP!!!???!?!?!?!!

sometimes I live in USE, sometime not. I have an USA address, but I don't have a USA credit card. Apple allows to have several apple IDs (see the link in my question). I don't want to make a card for only one reason - to by apps in USA appstore. I have a gift card and I want to use it, but seems that I can't because "None" type payment is not available anymore.

I changed my card details for my apple id since then i have been getting this error mesg whenever i try to download a paid app - or make payments for existing apps.
I created a new apple id and tried using that- but the error still pops up.

I believe that something is wrong with the App Store on Apple's end.
My issue is that my purchase history is completely blank when it shouldn't be.
I believe it's an issue on Apple's end because the same thing occurs on other iPads in the house & on my iPhone.
Sorry I can't be of more help, I'd just say wait it out.

settings -> iTunes & App Store
click on apple ID listed there
select Sign Out
sign in with the proper account
from then on, when the store ask for your password it should be with the correct ID

When creating iTunes account, my mom provided her credit card information and the system does not accept pre populated province and gives the error message ("please enter at most 3 letters or numbers for province") how does she get past this?

Yes, the email addresses need to be unique to each device. You may use the same Apple ID on each device, but the email address used by each device needs to be different.

I helped him create a new email address and new iCloud account on my Mac but when we try to register the phone with Apple it says: Maximim accounts limit reached for this device. When I checked the support site for Romania, you apparently don't have an Apple Care contact center. You "may" try calling the US Apple care number to verify the account and have the password reset sent to a different email address. 800-694-7466

How do you use an iTunes gift card without creating an account?

Just gave an iTunes gift card to my parents, as they do not use their credit cards on the internet at all. But I've run into a problem... I can't seem to figure out how to purchase music with the gift card. Every time I try to purchase something it asks me to create a new account, and register a credit card to that account.
I could have sworn there was a way to purchase music with a gift card, and no credit card at all. Is there something I am missing here?

Did you redeem the gift card first? You have to have something to set up an account gift card or credit card.
