Creating multiple templates for an adobe form

Hi Experts,
I am using Adobe Designer 7.1 and using SFP T-code to design the adobe forms in SAP ECC 6.0.
I have a requirement where user needs to select a desired template from a set of custom designed layout templates and then, the abode form should be generated based on the selected template.
Is it possible to create different layout templates and select them at a run time to generate the final adobe form ?

    Hi Roger,
    FormsCentral does not currently support user-defined form templates. However, there are a couple of options available that you might find useful.
    To define/use a template for an entire form:
    1. Create a form that will act as your template.
    2. To create a new form based on that template simply click the "Duplicate" button in the My Forms dashboard.
    The new form will contain the same set of form items as the template form.
    To define/use a template for one or more form items that are common to many of your forms:
    1. Create a form containing the template form items.
    2. To use the fields in different forms you can:
         i. Open the template form.
         ii. Select the form item(s) and type Ctrl+C.
         iii. Create or open the target form.
         iv. Type Ctrl+V to paste form items into the target form.

    How can we create a Web Dynpro for ABAP applicaton to populate these fields into an Adobe Form?

    If you have created Fields or Table in Adobe form then you can populate those fields in Adobe form.
    When you give the name of Adobe form in the Template Source Property of Interactive UI then screen will pop up asking to make contexts for the fields in adobe form.
    If you click on yes, then you will have automatically created context corresponding to Fields or Table in your WD application.
    Write the suitable logic to populate the Contexts in Wd Do init or using supply funciton
    This way your Adobe form will be populated with values.

  • MSS-Create Requisition Request -Error in Adobe Form

    Hi all,
    We are trying to configure MSS -> create requisition request using standard adobe form ISR_MSSRCF_SRQ3.
    We have configured standard HCM process HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION for it. When entering all
    the mandatory fields in the form and clicking on 'check and send' , it displays an error
    "you must enter a requisition title'
    although we have already entered req. title in the field.
    Anyone faced this issue before?
    Please provide your inputs...

    What was the solution finally? Would be glad if you could share.

  • Printing to multiple trays from an Adobe form

    Hi,
    Does anyone know if it's possible to create a button on an Adobe Form that will send a print job to multiple trays? We have several Adobe forms that need to be printed in triplicate on different coloured paper. Ideally we'd like a button on the Adobe form that will send the print job to all 3 printer trays.
    Apologies if this is a basic question, hope someone can help.

    Please can anyone tell me, what INBOUND MAIL PROCESSING in SAP for Offline ADOBE FORM?
    What is concept and how to use it, is any program need to write for that or only need to configure it.
    I have searched the SDN, but only get topic how to configure inbound mail processing.
    I am new to this area; please any one put some light on it.

    Hi Pavneet,
    Inbound processing of an offline adobe form consists of several things -
    a) an email id to be created on the server (to accept the mail & process the adobe form - this needs to have the right roles)
    b) the smtp config needs to be done by basis
    c) the abap developer needs to create a handler class that gets called when an email is recd in SAP. This handler class has 3-4 methods (first to read the mail and extract the pdf, convert data in pdf to the abap variable, process the form to do the specific function in sap (which will vary from requirement to another).

  • Authorization Profile needed for ISR Adobe Forms

    Hi,
    We have a couple of Custom ISR's and PCR's that are launched in Enterprise Portal.
    Well my Development ID had <b>SAP_ALL</b> and <b>SAP_NEW</b> Profiles attached.
    Now, when we started testing with the sample Test id's which doesnt have SAP_ALL or SAP_NEW profiles, we are getting error in ENTERPRISE PORTAL saying that... 
    "<i>You are not authorized to use the Notification Type 99</i>"
    Can anyone help me out in knowing the exact Authorization Objects for our Adobe Forms to run in EP.
    I cannot attach SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles to all my users.

    Hi,
    Im new to the ISR framework implementation.
    We have a problem when we try testing a scenario using the adobe part, we have not done this before and we getting errors.
    We get the following errors:
    1. When using Administrator and Adsuser:
    com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsage(FPMConfigurationUsage): Active component must exist when getting interface controller. (Hint: Have you forgotten to create it with createComponent()? Should the lifecycle control of the component usage be "createOnDemand"?
    2. When i use my profile username:
    com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"https://10.142.252.157:50001/AdobeDocumentServicesSec/Config?style=document:50000/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=document"
    Can anyone advise me on what i should configure so that this can work properly...
    Is it an issue with the authorisation, because the ADS tests are all working.

  • How to create custom template for webcenter portal application

    Hi,
    I created webcenter portal application in my jdev using the webcenter portal application template provided by the webcenter framework.
    I tried to create custom template for my application by following steps:
    1. Created new application using webcenter portal application template with all default package structure.
    2. Right click pagetemplates folder under webcontent package and select new option.
    3. New gallery opens up.
    4. Selected JSF under webtier and JSF Page Template under items in the right hand side and clicked Ok button.
    5. New wizard opens up for creating new JSF page template.
    6. Gave template name(file name) and Page Template Name(template def name).
    7. Selected checkbox staing start a Quick Start Layout and selected three column layout and selected Ok.
    8. Selected checkbox for Create Associated ADFm Page Defination(so that page templates can be changes at run time).
    9. Created some Facet Definations (header, footer, content1, content2, LHN, RHN).
    10. Clicked Ok button which will create custom template.
    11. Added some Panel Group Layout component from Component Palette.
    12. Created new page (.jspx) with this template.
    Now when I try to add producer portlets created using Producer Portlet application template and connected to the above application using WSRP2.0, I'm facing problem.
    The prolem is that I'm not able to add more than one portlet in one single page?
    Kindly let me know whether the steps followed by me is wrong some where and needs to corrected and let me know how I can add more than one portlet to page?
    Basically I cant see more than one placeholders in my page to add portlets.

    In the step 9 I had mentioned that I created various facet definations (header, footer, content, content1 RHN and LHN).
    Is this is not facet you are talking about or should I drop facet ref from the resource palette?
    Can't I add moer than one portlet to my page at design time itself?
    Annoying since in weblogic portal we do this at design time(.portal).

    At product/category/sku level there is a property called template.
    Find the property in ACC/BCC and provide all the values including the URL property.
    In you jsp, you can use this property from product/sku like the way you retrieve any other property from sku/product.
    <dsp:valueof param="product.template.URL" />
    Using that property with <dsp:include> includes that page.

    But you could pass the user-agent as incoming claim type Client User agent. User-agents can be manipulated, so if that is an issue you can look into Device Registration and the Device OS type from there. That is also a incoming claim but requires DRS and
    DRS is not available for all plattforms.

    That is a quirk of Pagesthat  it applies only one record per page.

    I am trying to send an async RFC to XI. Since I use IN BACKGROUND TASK and COMMIT WORK I got following error in the SM58 of the back end system
    Server repository could not create function
    template for 'XYZ'
    In the XI, I see nothing (no message, no error)
    How can I fix this problem?

      You may need to have logical destinatio types for sender RFC. (and in the refernce entry you need to provide the actual destination)

  • HELP! I've created a template for event badges and have been instructed by the client to insert the (200 ) names and relevant companies into it...Is there a script that can do this in illustrator? Should I be using Indesign?

    An events client I'm working for have asked me to create a template for badges. Rather than ask the printers to insert the names and companies of the individuals present at the event though, they want me to create all of the pdf files for (200+) people!
    I have an excel sheet of the people that will be present. My question is: is there a way to automate this? to define editable areas in a template and run some sort of batch processing script?

    This would be a perfect job for Data Merge in InDesign. You can place your AI design into InDesign (minus the text fields), and then easily create a merge.
