Creating 'my account'

Hello,
Im using an access database with dreamweaver, asp and
javasript. Im currently working on a 'my account' function in my
shop. For this, I created a table with all the necesarry
information. However, creating a page on which you can log in, or
create a new account is not that easy. First of all, when someone
has an acoount, how can i let them retrieve this? With forms you
can retrieve stuff, but now I should only give them their
information when both the email and password is correct. Also, how
do I assign stuff like, the password need to be between 6 and 10
characters and how do I use the function of repeating the password
and only aprove their action when both (password and retyped
password) are correct? How does the function work where people ask
for their inlog information to be emailed?
I really have a few qquestions, so if you can point me to
some relevant information, or maybe a tutorial or wizard that can
create this I would be very thankfull.

DreamWeaver's user authentication related server behaviors
can help out somewhat, but the bottom line is that if you want to
do things outside of the normal behaviors, you are really going to
have to learn the programming language you are using on the
server.
