Creating Technical System while using SOAP adapter as sender

hello friends
When I create a business system and technical system in SLD for a sender using SOAP adapter, can i create it as Third-Party. Or do I need to create it as anything else in the list.
Also, when do we create Web AS Java technical systems. I need to know when this option becomes MUST.

Yes u can use third party business system and technical system for SOAP system. Business service can also b used for the same purpose.
U should use webAS Java system in case of Java Proxies

Not able to see Message Content while using SOAP Adapter

Hi freinds
I am working on following scenario
Web Application ---> SOAP Adapter ---> XI ---> RFC Adapter ---> SAP R/3
Web application is using the WSDL file which I generated from XI.
Now everything is going fine & I am even getting the XML data in SAP R/3 ( Order is getting created ) but in RWB under message monitoring I am getting " <b>Content of message deleted to save memory</b> " for message content.
Even in SXMB_MONI for that timeframe it is showing " <b>No messages available for selection</b> ".
Can you tell me why I am not getting the message content & the message itelf in SXMB_MONI. What I need to do in order to get the message content while monitoring.

After adding the LOGGING_SYNC parameter with value 1. I am able to see the messages in sxmb_moni but they have status as " System Error - Restart not possbile " with the following error ::

As my payload was of 100 records with 15 fields I guessed that this can be the reason I am getting timed out. So next time I just send 2 records & this time no error & everything went fine.
Now one thing I need to do is to increase the TIMEOUT value with the help of <b>OSS Note 824554</b>.
But still in RWB ( with 2 records also ) under message monitoring I am getting " <b>Content of message deleted to save memory</b> " for message content.
My objective now, is to display the payload which is coming from Web Application via SOAP Adapter in RWB. Can you help me in this.

ERROR while using SOAP adapter with SMTP protocol

Hi,
The error i get is,
SOAP: error occured: java.io.IOException: server not responding OK to MAIL FROM; 454 5.7.3 Client does not have permission to submit mail to this server.
Please given your suggestions on the same.......
Also do provide more information on sending SOAP over SMTP.

The thing is that we tried a receiver mail adapter scenario with SMTP prptocol which is working perfectly fine... Its the same SMTP sever we are using even in this case.
What could be the network problems that you mentioned, could you throw more light on the same.

Error While Creating Technical System for SNC

Hi There,
I am trying to create technical system for SNC in SLD, I am not able to seee SNC as a s/w component/product in the list.
when I checked the list of components in SLD, I found SNC is there under product "SCMSNC" but this product is not in the list of products.
Please help me how I can get "SCMSNC" product in the product list.

Can you please explain it little bit clearly?
I think you first create product, then SWC and then try to create Technical system.
While you will create the Technical system, in the last step it will ask you for installed products.
There you can specify ur product.

Thanks for your response. i am working on XI 7.0 and when i go to SLD-> Adminitsrtion-> SLD Data Supplier. There i tried to add SLD CLient.
It is asking me for :
-URL of target SLD system, e.g. http://host:port/
-User
-Password.
What should i give here. WHat will be port for R/3 system to which i want to connect.
Just to add: I have already created Technical system for R/3(CLient 600). I added this through SLD only. But now it is giving error for Technical SYstem for same R/3(Clinet 812).

I have created jndi from console which I have mentioned in DBAdapter and I have provided details of JNDI to DbAdapter in deployment.
I am not able to solve this.
Can you please let me know solution for this or provide me link for tutorial of DBAdapter for stored procdure call?

while creating technical system of WEB AS ABAP i have few doubts
1) host name:(do we have to give sap system name or xi system name)
and while creating business system for this technical system am not able to find the option under RELATED INTEGRATION SERVER i.e xi3/sxi what ever it may be,so am facing very difficulty while creating communication channel and not able to select the integration engine under the ADAPTER ENGINE ,so please provide me suitable solution with screen shoits if possible ,it very urgent for me

You can create SOAP Request from WSDL using the following tool.

Host name you can find at same location. Not sure about message server port (Basis team shall be able to provide this information)....

Error while using DB Adapter in BPEL

Error:
An error occurred while obtaining stored procedures. Verify that the database connection is valid.
I have installed BPEL 10.1.2.0.2 and linked it to a local Oracle DB(not using Oracle Lite). Here, there is no problem invoking a stored procedure while using DB adapter.
Now, when I try to invoke stored procedure that is not present in local Oracle DB, it gave me above error.
I was able to make new DB connection, browse to correct schema and procedure. The moment I click <Next>, the error came.
Any pointer!!

To answer your question: The error happened during design time.
It was a mistake from my side. I did not see that JDeveloper put a default IN argument while selecting the stored procedure, whereas my procedure did not have any.
My issue was resolved once I put a dummy argument in my stored procedure.

IDOC to BPM-SOAP adapter is sending Empty envelop

Hello,
I have a scenario where im using BPM Async/sync bridge to realize the IDOC to SOAP adapter scenario.
The web services will take the request and send the response in string (CDATA). Everything is working fine upto the synchronous interface mapping. After the data gets converted, It calls the SOAP adapter.It is here that im facing the issue. The soap adapter is sending an empty envelop without any data. But in monitoring i can see the data that it is supposed to send.
Please, can anybody help me????

If I understand correctlty, you are doing a asynt to sync to asyn scenario. In this case you dont need an async-sync bridge.
Your BPM should have only a receive step, sync send and then an asyn send step. You might have one transformation wherever applicable. If you have opened any bridges in BPM, please remove them and try.
