Creation of a custom TAB in SAP standard Transcation

Hi Experts,
Request the ones who created a customized TAB in any standard trascation .Say in ME22N. We will have some tabs at Line item level. Now our requirement is to add one more tab. For that we need to know
whether we have to create screen through se51 and attach it to screen ? or we should use any user exit or badi to create screen or we need to create screen by using configuration?
If anybody having hand-on knowledge about this TAB creation...request you to share the same....Detailed information and fast response will be highly appreciated...Ofcourse reward points for suitable entry.....

IF you want to add one subscreen in the PO screen then use MM06E005 screen exit .
Create your screen and activate the exit and the screen will appear on the ME21n screen.
Other wise use the BADI for PO screen.

I've a requirement to include and populate 2 custom fields in SAP standard basic type DELFOR01 and Segment E1EDK09 (it is at hierarchy level 1 ) .
The requirement looks very simple but for this, as per my knowledge, I have to create a new Basic type with the copy of segment E1EDK09 and attach it to outbound process code and write my own function module to populate the segments.
It seems ok but the there are some existing codes in the user-exits for the SAP standard function module.These codes will not get triggered.(Or I've copy the user-exits code in my FM)
Can we do it any other way to handle this kind of situation?

Hi Phani,
You have done it correctly. ECC additional data to be moved to EWM, 1. you need to enhance the CIF for master data/ bapi to populate the data in the custom field in EWM. 2. Make your your are not enhancing only one structure. You need to do it in the CI includes so that the field is available in all the related tables/structures.
3. The BAPI/FM which updated these tables will take care automatically to update the custom field data if the field is correctly added in all the tables.
4. If the custom fields are added correctly and still the data is not getting saved , then need to check the mapping of the custom field and bepi extension.

Customer role from sap standard role SAP_SM_SCHEDULER_DIS or SAP_SM_SCHEDUL

according SAP Note Note 1054005 - FAQ: Job Scheduling Management with SAP Solution Manager we want to design a customer role with this roles as templates.
But:
There are a lot of open authorization objects.
We need proposal how to fill this role with adequate values.
Does anybody has designed customer roles from that standard roles ?
What values are advisable ?

Authorization Matrix that define "what position may have access to which authorization/ role" shall be developed by User (Management), with support from BASIS. User is the one who have the authority to decide, while BASIS should help User in understanding the technical knowledge of access authorization.

your transaction and also search for BADI's.

Custom fields on SAP standard screen - how to make them mandatory

Hi,
I have added 2 new custom fields [say zz1 and zz2] in the SAP Document Management System whilst creating documents in program SAPLCV110.
I want to have these fields set to mandatory only when the document type is say ZZZ.
Can you please let me know where abouts I need to go to introduce the code.

How to handle a custom tab in PCUI??

I have added a custom tab for the standard pcui opportunity application. If i click on that custom tab I want a new view or page to be dispalyed. Can anyone please let me know how to get this done or how to configure this.

Saving customer fields to SAP table (EXIT_SAPMM06E_012)

Hi All,
I would like to ask you guys a bit of a help with a user exit that I am working on as of the moment.
I am coding a user exit for a service purchase order (ekpo-knttp = 'K' and ekpo-pstyp = 'D') this is a service purchase order of cost centre category.
Since SAP does not allow the goods recipient (ekkn-wempf) to be modified for reasons specified in SAP Note 118008. I have used user exit MM06E005 FMs EXIT_SAPMM06E_017, EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 to the data in PBO and PAI for the transaction.
Now I tried using the two FMs EXIT_SAPMM06E_018 and EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 to pass this value to the table but it does not seem to get saved in table EKKN.
Using FM EXIT_SAPMM06E_018 the I have maintained the structure CI_EKPODB to include WEMPF and after debugging passing that user exit area the wempf is being tranfered to global data but this does not get saved in EKKN table (EKKN-WEMPF).
Although this is outside of the standard best practice of SAP since the account assingment belongs to the limits or the service line for service order but maintaining this recipient field for the PO item does not impact our system processes as the business acknolwedges goods recipient for service PO.
BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST has also been implemented under method PROCESS_ACCOUNT invoking the interface IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_ACCOUNT_MM but unsucessful in the operation.
If anyone of you guys has encoutered same scenario or implementation requirement please do give information on this or work-arounds are well appreciated as well.

We have worked on a similar requirement ,just check if its useful to you.
Requirement:
                     You have to add the custom field in SAP standard table EKKO. Then we have to place the field in ME21N screen. When user enters any input into the field it should get updated in the database.
Note:
                     EKKO table is meant for Purchasing document header, you should add the field in the header level for ME21n screen. There you are provided with customer sub screens where you can add the field in the screen.
Procedure:
1You have to create a field in the Custom Include of standard table, after creating activate it.
2.Double click on the include then you can add your custom field here.
Find out the Required Enhancements:
1.Go to SMOD. Press F4 in the Enhancement field. In the next popup window, click pushbutton u2018Information systemu2019.
2.Then mention the particular package name of the transaction you need to      enhance. Then you will be shown the list of Enhancement components for that particular package.
3.Note down the enhancements. Then, come to the initial screen of SMOD and view the documentation of each enhancement to find out which one is required for your development.
MM06E005 is the Enhancement component we are using here.
Development
Creating a Project to include the enhancement:
1.Go to transaction CMOD and create a project.
2.Enter a description for the project.
3.Then, click on the pushbutton u2018Enhancement Assignmentsu2019 in the Application Toolbar.
4.Click on the components in Application Toolbar.
5.Here you will be shown the function module exits, screen exits and Include tables.
6.Click on the custom screen SAPLXMO6 u2013 0101 in which it suits the requirement of adding the custom field to the layout
7.Click on layout and go to get from dictionary and select the field you need to add and click ok.
8.Place the field in the layout and activate it.
9.After that you come back and check the respective function module in which you need to implement the code. So, we need to import the data from sub screen for purchasing document header. Therefore we have chosen the EXIT_SAPMM06E_008.
10. Write code in the Function Exits to synchronize the programs:
                   Now, code has to be written in the function modules EXIT_SAPMM06E_008 so that data flows to and fro between the main SAP program and custom sub screen program. Double clicking on the exit we get the following screen.
11. Double click on the include and write the required code inside it. Then activate it.
TABLES:EKKOIF NOT EKKO_ZADD IS INITIAL.
MOVE EKKO-ZADD to e_ci_ekko-zadd.
move corresponding e_ci_ekko to ekko.
modiky ekko from ekko.
12. Now come back and activate the entire project.
13. Now go to ME21n transaction and create a purchase order by giving all the mandatory fields including custom field we have created. Here Test is the custom field we have created. After entering the data then press SAVE button, your data will be populated to the respective table.
14. Go to SE11 or SE16n, check whether the field got updated in the database or not in EKKO table.

How to add custom authorization object to a SAP standard transaction

Hi All,
I have a standard tcode IW22 (change PM Notification) and I would lock changing when some users modify the field Functional Location (field TPLNR).
Since this field does not have an authorization object associated, I've tried to solve this problem with the following steps:
- tcode SU20 - creation of new authorization field TPLNR with data element TPLNR
- tcode SU21 - creation of a new auth object in transaction SU21 with name ZPM and field (TPLNR, ACTVT and TCOD)
- tcode SU24 - insert of new authorization field e check indicator (green)
- tcode SU22 - check indicator - check (green)
After this we have created a new role with PFCG and add transaction IW22; the new auth.ZPM was added manually.
We have try to analyze log (ST01 trace) but it seems no check was made in the trace file.
It seems new authorization object was not checked.
My question is: "Is it possible to add a custom authorization object into standard transaction and implementing authorization check without writing abap code in exit or badi ?"

No .. not possible. The list of Auth. objects SAP proposed in SU24 for each Stnd. SAP TCodes are basically documentation of the Authority-Checks in the program for that TCode. The extra advantage of SU24 is to set the object status (means the proposal for availability in PFCG) among any of the four check indicators. So that we can provide our own value (customer specific values which are basically defined and separate from sap provided values) and reinforce the authorization concept of the organization.
So you need to provide a Authority-Check for ZPM in the program of IW22 to make sure that the fields you want to be checked are really being checked during execution of the tcode.

Can i use the SAP standard package for lock object creation ?

Dear Guru ,
I want to create a new lock ojbect for my abap program .
When i completed the creation , SAP required a new request and it said the object only can be imported to SAP standard package .
But i saw the help from SAP said :

Hi Carlos...
First , You will never be able to use any standard SAP Package for your custom programs. So don't go for it.
So in your case what you need to do is , when you save your Lock object ,
- if you want Transport request to be created , then
in the screen shown you need to enter the Z package name (the same package as that of your ABAP Program)
or
-if you want it to be stored as local object , then
specify package as $tmp

You have to modify below structure, as this structure is providing the field catalog for output display (ALV).
Here you can see there are a lot of include structures, so if you want to add fields in the output display you can add those fileds as an append structure to any of the below mentioned structures (Like ukm_s_account, ukm_s_bp_cms_sgm etc as per your requiremnt and positon at which you need to dispaly your fields.)

Another way is you can go to SE38, and you can create implicit enhancements.One enhancement point is available here in this required area. so create an implementation and add your fileds with data types.This way is also simple.

I really don't know what your actual requirement is , but if you want to know the objects as per the modification , then transport request will be much help to you .

Need to find All Custom Reports which are based on SAP standard reports

Hi Specialists,
I would like to find out all the customized reports which are a copy of SAP standard reports in the client's system.
For Eg. RPCP11G0 is the SAP standard report which has been customized & it's code has been re-written into a Custom report i.e. ZGBPPYMP001_P11D.
I would like to know all such occurences in the system.
Steps already done:
1) Tried searching with RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN & RS_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN.

it's only possible with an tool-program
when your developers have not change the line with the REPORT-command.
e.g.
standard-report is RAGITT01
copy is ZC_RAGITT01 or sth like this
but report line is unchanged in copy: "REPORT RAGITT01 MESSAGE-ID AB..."
solution:
select all reports from TRDIR/TADIR from your Z/Y-device classes
and analyse the reports with
read report ZC_RAGITT01 into wa.
and use find for searching 'report-command'.
and check whether the result of that finding is an standard abap

It looks both the tabs are custom ones. In that case, you can either use Export/Import statement or you can use Set/Get Parameter ID for setting value.
If one is standard subscreen, you can export value from custom subscreen and use line item level user-ext/enhancement to assign the value on standard subscreen.
