CSQ Stat Screen in CAD-BE

Can someone tell me how to configure either the Windows CAD or the CAD-BE to display that CSQ Stats screen within the main windows with the smallest footprint possible? Also, I would be interested in opinions on the pros/cons of CAD vs. CAD-BE. Our agents run a couple of simultaneuos applicatios, so screen real estate is at a premium.
Thanks

CAD or the CAD-BE to display that CSQ Stats screen within the main
windows with the smallest footprint possible?
I presume you are referring to the basic calls waiting statistic available to the agent through the Reports button?  If so, this cannot be integrated into the main CAD/CAD-BE window. If you have a third-party wallboard product you could put that in the Integrated Browser if you have a Premium license.
opinions on the pros/cons of CAD vs. CAD-BE
CAD allows for workflows and the integrated browser while CAD-BE does not. CAD-BE relies on Java which could be a pro or a con depending on your environment. At the moment, CAD-BE is typically used for customers who do not meet the install requriments of CAD.

I just wanted to follow up and post my finidings on "CSQ Stats" I found here on the board. I had trouble getting it to work initially becuase it was written for UCCX 7 and below, and we were running 8.5(1).
Attached are the files we are using. Has the modifications to make it work with informix in UCCX 8 and above as well as one code fix. Great program, thank you to the creator. Just wanted to post the modified files to make it easier for others to use.
Here is a screen shot of how we have it configured.

    Hi Caud..
    1] High Cardinality..
High Cardinality means that this dimension contains a large number of characteristic values. This information is used in accordance with the individual database platform in order to optimize performance. For example, an index type other than the standard may be used. Generally a dimension is perceived to have high cardinality when the dimension is at least 20% the size of the fact tables in terms of the number of entries each contain. Avoid marking a dimension as having high cardinality if you are in any doubt.
Cardinality creates indexes on the Dimension table entries and there by you would see an improvement in performance.
With Oracle DB, setting the Cardinality option causes a b-tree index to be built instead of a bitmap index even if it is not a line item dim.
Setting it as a Line Item dim also causes a b-tree index to be built instead of a bitmap index, but also embeds SID directly in the fact table, eliminating the dimension table.
As it changes from bit map to B-tree, u have to be careful as the SAP recommends the Bit map.
2]As indices increased the performance tremendously, u have to consider when ever the performance is main factor. it is very easy for query to access the data in the data target if it already indexed.

  • UCCX 8.5: CSQ Name Displayed in CAD Integrated Broswer?

    Cisco Forum:
Can UCCX 8.5 for the Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD) provide the CSQ Name in the Integrated Broswer portion of the CAD?  That is, the CAD can be used to pop a web link to agents on incoming calls.  While the CAD can show the CSQ Name by default, it does so in a reasonable small font amid other data.  Can some call script variable be set for the CSQ Name which would then be used to dynamically pop a unique web link on CAD Integrated Browser which would then display whatever is configured as a web link to display?
As an alternative, can agents using the CAD also have a IP Phone display of the CSQ Name.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions.
    Dan

Before you can pass the CSQ name to the integrated browser you must first have the script pass the CSQ name to the CAD. It needs to show in the top left panel where the ANI is currently displayed.
See this link for an example of how to create a layout and the script changes to pass a value to CAD.
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3478154#3478154
You can then build a dynamic URL in the desktop administrator with the CSQ name.

  • HELP: UCCX 7.0(1)SR05 CSD Queue Stat Display

CSD doesn't display the overall queue stats. Agent status/state okay, just no overall CSQ stats display in the Real Time Displays.

Thanks for the quick response. I checked and there's no other options. I saw a screen-print on what is should look like, but there's no options under "Skill Groups". Granted we're not using skills, just a resource group ... but from what I understand that's where it should show the name of the CSQ, but ours is empty.

  • Dynamic Selection option in the selection screen

    Hi ,
    I have a requirement like this ....
The user wants some fields to be default available in the selection screen. But they also want to be able to select the data based on additional fields (all the remaining fields ) which they want to see in the dynamic selection .
The basic list for selections should be limited to the fields listed in the specifications provided to me and the remaining fields should be made available through the dynamic selection option.
In the transaction FBL3N , this facility is provided.
    Kindly help me with this..
    thanks,
    Sumit .

  • Start daemons with screen: rtorrent, irssi

    Hello, community!
I run a headless server and, as of now, it boots with rtorrent as a daemon, using screen, like so:
    #!/bin/bash
    # file: /etc/rc.d/rtorrentd
    USER=myusername
    . /etc/rc.conf
    . /etc/rc.d/functions
    case "$1" in
    start)
    stat_busy "Starting rtorrent Service"
    su $USER -c 'screen -d -m -S rtorrent $USER' &> /dev/null
    if [ $? -gt 0 ]; then
    stat_fail
    else
    add_daemon rtorrentd
    stat_done
    fi
    stop)
    stat_busy "Stopping rtorrent Service"
    killall -w -s 2 /usr/bin/rtorrent &> /dev/null
    if [ $? -gt 0 ]; then
    stat_fail
    else
    rm_daemon rtorrentd
    stat_done
    fi
    restart)
    $0 stop
    sleep 3
    $0 start
    echo "usage: $0 {start|stop|restart}"
    esac
    exit 0
The usual, as per our wiki and rtorrent documentation.
I would like to do the same with irssi, but maybe I can't due to not completely understanding this statement:
    screen -d -m -S rtorrent $USER
I know the "-d -m" part initializes screen and does not attach to it. "-S rtorrent" names that screen as "rtorrent" (I can check that doing
    C-a "
    when inside a screen)
But that is as far as I know... I tried using the same script and replacing rtorrent -> irssi, but to no avail, it doesn't start by doing sudo /etc/rc.d/irssid start
I don't need irssi to start at boot, but it would be nice just to
    sudo /etc/rc.d/irssid start
and have my IRC setup ready. Any hints? Common mistakes?
    Thank you for your time
edit: I also tried to follow irssi's guide but I can't create another screen session. (as in: only rtorrent has its own screen)

Well, after messing with .screenrc I ended up doing it with a little help from the wiki.
    Now, my /etc/rc.d/irssi has:
    #!/bin/bash
    . /etc/rc.conf
    . /etc/rc.d/functions
    DAEMON=irssi
    USER=<username>
    PID=$(pidof -o %PPID $DAEMON)
    [ -r /etc/conf.d/irssi ] && . /etc/conf.d/irssi
    case "$1" in
    start)
    stat_busy "Starting $DAEMON Service"
    [ -z "$PID" ] && su $USER -c 'screen -dm -S '$DAEMON' -c ~/.irssi/.screenrc_irssi' &> /dev/null
    if [ $? != 0 ]; then
    stat_fail
    else
    add_daemon $DAEMON
    stat_done
    fi
    stop)
    stat_busy "Stopping $DAEMON Service"
    [ -n "$PID" ] && kill $PID &>/dev/null
    if [ $? != 0 ]; then
    stat_fail
    else
    rm_daemon $DAEMON
    stat_done
    fi
    restart)
    $0 stop
    sleep 3
    $0 start
    echo "usage: $0 {start|stop|restart}"
    esac
    exit 0
    and in ~/.irssi/.screenrc_irssi I have
    screen -t irssi irssi
    And it works!
Is it overkill? Why do I need to have
    [ -z "$PID" ] && su $USER -c 'screen -dm -S '$DAEMON' -c ~/.irssi/.screenrc_irssi' &> /dev/null
with '$DAEMON' instead of $DAEMON ? Otherwise it does not work... Probably something to do with bash

  • Query about screen as a structure used in table control.

    hi all,
plz explain the fields in screen(structure).
when and how it is used.
    specialy i/o, o/p,active,
    plz give example.

    hi,
The screen elements text field, input/output field, status icon, group box, radio button, checkbox, and
pushbutton all have general attributes, Dictionary attributes, program attributes, and display attributes.
The elements subscreen, tabstrip control, and table control have general attributes, and special
attributes relating to the respective type.
We can divide the attributes of an element into:
Statically definable attributes that cannot be changed dynamically
Statically definable attributes that can be changed dynamically
Attributes that can only be changed dynamically
At the beginning of the PBO, the runtime system reads the statically-created and dynamically-modifiable
attributes of each screen element on the current screen into a system table with the line type SCREEN.
Dynamic changes to the attributes of screen elements are temporary.
Using this technique to modify the attributes of a screen element (for example, to change whether an
input/output field is ready for input), you can replace long sequences of separate screens, which are
more costly in terms of both programming time and runtime.
The system table with line type SCREEN will be called SCREEN system table in the following unit.
When a screen is processed, the SCREEN system table contains an entry for each element created in
the Screen Painter for that screen.
The system table SCREEN is initialized at the start of the PBO event for the current screen. To do this, a
system program copies the statically defined attributes of the individual screen elements into the table.
You can then change the dynamically-modifiable attributes of the elements on the screen in a module at
PBO using the following statements: LOOP AT SCREEN.
    MODIFY SCREEN.
    ENDLOOP.
To do this, you use the structure SCREEN, which is created automatically by the system, and filled with
the values of each successive line of the system table in the loop. Set attributes have the value '1',
attributes that are not set have the value '0'. To change the system table, use MODIFY SCREEN. within
    the loop.
To find the element whose attributes you want to modify, you can use a LOOP on the SCREEN table,
and query one of the following fields: SCREEN-NAME, SCREEN-GROUP1 to SCREEN-GROUP4.
You can change the attributes of several screen elements simultaneously at runtime, by including them
in a modification group in the Screen Painter. Assign all elements that will be changed within a single
processing step to a group in the Screen Painter.
To do this, enter a group name for each of the relevant elements in one of the fields GROUP1 …
    GROUP4.
You can include each element in up to four modification groups. You can choose any three-character
sequence for the group name. You can assign elements to a modification group either in the element list
or the layout editor in Screen Painter.
You must program your screen modifications in a module that is processed during the PROCESS
    BEFORE OUTPUT processing block.
You use a loop through the table SCREEN to change the attributes of an element or a group of
elements. (LOOP AT SCREEN WHERE . . . and READ TABLE SCREEN are not supported).
To activate and deactivate attributes, assign the value 1 (active) or 0 (inactive), and save your changes
    using the MODIFY SCREEN statement.
Note that elements you have defined statically in the Screen Painter as invisible cannot be reactivated
    with SCREEN-ACTIVE = 1. Instead, use the statement SCREEN-INVISIBLE = 0. However, elements
that you have statically defined as visible in the Screen Painter can dynamically be made invisible. This
has the same effect as the three statements SCREEN-INVISIBLE = 1, SCREEN-INPUT = 0, SCREENOUTPUT
    = 0.
There are three steps involved in displaying buffered data from the internal table in the table control:
The system loops through the lines of the table control on the screen. The lines of the screen table are
processed one by one. For each line, the system carries out the following steps:
The current line of the internal table is placed in the work area of the internal table. (Note that it is
possible to scroll in the table on the screen).
The data from the work area of the internal table is copied into the relevant line of the table control.
When you use table controls on a screen, the automatic field transport sequence changes.
In the PBO processing block, data is transferred from the ABAP program to the screen after each loop
pass in the flow logic. The rest of the screen fields are filled, as normal, at the end of the PBO.
In the flow logic, the loop statement
LOOP AT <itab> INTO <wa_itab> WITH CONTROL <tc_name>
starts a loop through the screen table, and reads the line of the internal table corresponding to the
current line of the screen table, placing it in <wa_itab>.
<itab> is the name of the internal table containing the data, <wa_itab> is the name of the work area for
the internal table, and <tc_name> is the name of the table control on the screen.
If the fields in your table control have the same structure and name as those in the work area <wa_itab>,
the system can transport data between the ABAP program and the screen automatically (step 3).
If you are not using the same structure for the table control fields and the work area of the internal table,
you must call a module between LOOP and ENDLOOP that moves the data from the work area
    <wa_itab> into the screen fields (MOVE-CORRESPONDING <wa_itab> TO …) .
The system calculates the value of <ctrl>-TOP_LINE when you scroll, but not when you scroll a page at
a time outside the table control.
In order to transfer changed values from the table control back to the internal table the following three
    steps must be carried out:
The system loops through the lines of the table control. The lines of the screen table are processed
one by one. For each line, the system carries out the following steps:
The data from the current line of the table control is copied into the header line of the internal table.
The data in the work area must then be placed in the line of the internal table corresponding to the
line of the table control that is being processed. (Note that it is possible to scroll in the table on the
    screen).
In the PAI processing block, all screen fields that do not belong to a table control and that are not listed
in a FIELD statement are transported back to the work fields in the ABAP program first.
The contents of the table control are transported line-by-line to the corresponding work area in the ABAP
    program in the appropriate loop.
As usual, the fields that occur in FIELD statements are transported directly before that statement.
The structure of the screen tables contain.
    NAME
    GROUP 1
    GROUP 2
    GROUP 3
    GROUP 4
    OUTPUT
    REQUIRED
    LENGTH
    INTENSIFIED
    INVISIBLE

  • F9k2 - Unable to add Business partner as Bank statement recipient

    Hello experts,
I am having trouble with adding a BP number under the Bank statement tab of Change Bank account screen, i.e. bank account change: Account statement screen. Can someone please help me understand, why is this happening. How can I make this field appear as changeable?
I have already posted payment item in this current account of the subsidiary

    Manish,
You should have created the BP in the role of BKK030- Bank statement recipient to add to the Accounts statements TAB.
In this screen the system will accept only those BP who are created as 'Persons' and not 'Organization'. If you want the system to accept BP who are created as 'Organization' then you should do the following setting:
    SPRO-IMG-Treasury and Risk Management-Basic Functions-SAP Business Partner for Financial Services-General Settings-Business Partner-Basic Settings-Business Partner Roles-Define BP Roles
In this ensure that BKK010,BKK020,BKK030 under 'Possible BP Role categories' all the three(Organization, Person, Group) are checked for all the three roles.

  • Batch Input Session empty while posting Manual Bank Statement T.Code FF67

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to do the Bank Reconciliation by T.Code FF67.
The statement is getting saved  but I could not see the Batch Insput Session (T.Code SM35) to post the entries.
Please help me in this issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Priya

    Hi,
Saving Bank Statement Data and Posting Statement are two different transactions.
Once both amounts (in FF67, Amounts Entered, Statement Amount at the bottom) are matched then if you save, it will save the data in FF67 format.  In that screen only if you save again then it will post statement and create batch input session.  Similarly you also processed or differently?
Check again in FF67 statement screen & revert back.

  • Manual Bank Statement - Posting in FEBP Issue

    Hi Experts,
Our Test scripts on Manual Bank Statement Processing requires us to 1. Process Manual Bank Statement in FF67 and 2. Post the entry in FEBP.
We were able to process the transaction in FF67, but not able to post in FEBP. We have tried by giving following parameter in FEBP:
Bank St Details like date, statement number, house bank id, account id and company code and Pstg Param as Post Immediately, Assign Value date to Account and Output Cntrl as Print Bnk Statemetn and Print Posting Log.
We are getting the following Error: "List Contains no data"
But we are able to Post this transaction in both FEBAN and FF67. I like to get some experts opinion on this issue to fix it. Thanks in advance!
    Ganesh

    Thanks for your Input.
Just thought of further detailing my scenario and get your inputs to proceed further:
When I say, I have updated FF67, I have updated the Transactions in Process Manual Bank Statement Screen and hit Save Icon and I have not posted the transaction in FF67.When I come out of FF67, it was giving an warning message that transaction was not posted still want to Exist? I was then giving Yes and going to FBEP to pull out those details and post through FEBP, it was giving above mentioned error. List Contain no data.
But I was able to Post it either in FF67 itself or through post processing transaction FEBAN. Is there any GL Posting Assignment setting relating to this issues?

  • Uploading to Manual Bank Statement while configuring BRS

    Hi,
Please help me in uploading the Manual Bank Statement while configuring BRS.
I have entered into ff67 and tried uploading the Bank statement, but it is not entering into the statement screen and giving message "no statement is available".
    Your input please..
    Regards,
    PP

Actually, if your uploading a Manual Bank Statement, and your getting that message, you're probably hitting the enter key before you have created your first bank statement.
Bear in mind that you should first call up tx FBL3N (it's a good idea to print it or have it opened in another session, since you should reconcile according to what has been posted previously).
Hope this will get you going.
The other reply that you got for this question is, I think, intended for Electronic Bank Statements.
