  • Where we maintain the CST & VAT numbers for a plant which is not a register

    Hi All,
    Where we maintain the CST & VAT numbers for a plant which is not a registered for Excise?
    we are printing it on the invoice output. on debugging it is known that it comes from the table AUSP, after checking the table CABN.
    Any body knows about these two tables? let me know the purpose of these tables
    thanks in advance,
    Venkat

    Mr Big Screams.....
                      I hope you have neigther read my reply completely nor understood correctly.
    Let me tell you, maintaining record in J1ID in Plant address details doesnt declared that plant is registered under Excise act until unless you maintain ECC details. ( ECC -Excise Control Code number which will be alloted by the Central Excise dept).
    You will find CST / VAT fields in J1ID which is actually given to maintain Plant address details for INDIA localization.
    Hope its clear.

  • CST file replacement for existing Director app

    I've got an existing Director application that I want to
    update via swapping out an existing CST file for a new one. I can
    create a new CST file on my Mac and when i re-launch the Director
    app the new cast member works great.
    But on windows... the updated CST file is rejected by the
    Director executable. Even if i re-rebuild the cast member from
    scratch on a PC after first re-saving my assets (24 bit BMP files)
    on the PC.
    Any ideas?

    I'm trying to use this (vals is a FILE_LIST variable):
    vals := WEBUTIL_FILE.DIRECTORY_FILTERED_LIST('\\srv\fld1\jpgs','*.jpg',TRUE);
    first_file_name := vals(0);
    But I get: identifier 'FILE_LIST' must be declared.
    Are there any steps to check if I have properly installed the datatype FILE_LIST? I suppose that's the problem now.
    Thanks for your help!
    EDITED: I solved that reinstalling webutil, and now I can use FILE_LIST. But the error message has changed, and is "oracle.forms.webutil.file.FileFunctions bean not found. WEBUTIL_FILE.GET_ATTRIBUTE_INT will not work". What's the meaning of this? Thanks.

  • Error in :Posting keys for account determination

    Hi, Gurus,
          please suggest the solution for the following problem.
                we are selling two  types of materials, one is the  product material and the second one is the scrap material.Different type pricing procedures, sale order,delivery and billing types were configured for the same. For CST and VAT   same condition type  :"ZCST - for CST " and  ZVAT - for VAT" were used in both pricing procedure and the standard account keys : MW1 for ZCST and MWS for ZVAT  and  same G/L accounts configured .
    .                                                   key combination for the condition types as mentioned below:
    .                                                        ZCST:  Country/PlntRegion/Region/TaxCl2Cust/TaxCl.2Mat
                                                             ZVAT: Country/PlntRegion/Region/TaxCl1Cust/TaxCl.Mat
         Now we want to capture  CST and VAT seperately for both the materails.For that two new account keys created and incorporated the same in scrap pricing procedure and  and new  G/Ls created and assigned .Now the system is throwing  following error while while releasing the billing document to accounting document.
    Posting keys for account determination for transaction Z48 do not exist
    Message no. F5598
    here Z48 is the new accounting key created for  the  CST tax.We tried all the possibilities, but system is throwing the same error.
    with regards
    sam

    Thank u for ur response.Now it is solved when OB40 and OBCN maintained.Here I am facing a new problem.pl. provide the solution.we configured twoseperate  pricing procedures for our product and scrap material.We have configured same condition types for VAT(ie.condition type:ZVAT) and CST(cond type:ZCST), in both pricing procedures. Now We want to maintain  seperate condition types for VAT and CST for pricing procedure for Product material and Scrap material. I have created two new condition types for scrap sales ZSCT- cst for scrap and ZSVT-vat for scrap by copying the same from existing conditions ZCST & ZVAT, and the same is included in the scrap pricing procedure. And also maintained OB40,OBCN,OVK1,OVK3,OVK4, FTXP,FV11 and VK11.
    now I am facing the following problems.
    1. while creating the Material master & customer master, in tax category sub screen all conditions i.e. conditions defined for  product material( ZCST,ZVAT) and defined for scrap material (ZSCT, ZSVT) displaying and these are compulsory fields.
    2. While creating the sale order for scrap material, system is considering the TAX classes from ZVAT/ ZCST (defined for product material) and taking the condition value from the condition type ZSVT/ ZSCT with the TAX class values of  ZVAT/ZCST.
    Now I would like to know is there any procedure  to assign the Material type and Customer group to Tax category.
    Thanks & Regards

  • CST or VAT determination automatically in sales order

    Dear all,
    I want to determine the CST or VAT both in a single sales order for different Items based on plant regions and customer region.
    for more details let me give you an example.
    I have,
               2 plants - A(Maharashtra), B(Delhi)
               Customer - X (Delhi), Y (UP)
               Material - M
    now I create an order for customers X and Y with the same material M
    Scenario 1
    SP - X (Delhi)
                 -Matl <----->  Plant  <--
    >  Taxes
                 -M    <----->  A (MH) <----->  CST
    Scenario 2
    SP - X (Delhi)
                -Matl <----->  Plant  <--
    >  Taxes
                 -M    <----->  B (DL) <----->  VAT
    Scenario 3
    SP - Y (UP)
                -Matl <----->  Plant  <--
    >  Taxes
                 -M    <----->  A (MH) <----->  CST
    Scenario 4
    SP - Y (UP)
                 -Matl <----->  Plant  <--
    >  Taxes
                 -M    <----->  B (DL) <----->  CST
    Are the above scenarios possible automatically?
    what kind of  settings required in the pricing procedure and how the Condition records should be maintained?
    If I am giving any wrong example technically.
    Just suggest me the settings in pricing procedure and condition record maintenance
    to determine CST or VAT for the same material depending on the different combinations of Customer Region (State) and Plant Region(State)
    Thanks alot in advance for the time spent and helping me out by solutions.
    Best regards,

    Hi
    It can be determined automatically in sales order
    but for this you have to maintain in Material master (CST & VAT maintain the Tax classification)
    and also for the Customer master cst & vat tax classification
    create condition table for both the condition types with fields
    Country/PlntRegion/Region/TaxCl2Cust/TaxCl.2Mat
    maintain the condition records as per the matrix combination

  • Is it possible to assign a TIN number to more than one Vendor?

    Hi there. This is my first post ever in this community. I have little experience with SAP and had come across the following situation: I have two different W-9 forms for 2 vendors with different addresses and names but with the same TIN number. These two entities are related. One provides us with the fuel cards service and the other one with lodging cards service. Our current SAP configuration only allows one TIN number per vendor. SAP configuration is determined by our Head Office in Spain and this rule is applied across all subsidiaries worldwide.   Question is: how do US companies handle this situation in SAP? Thanks.

    Hi!
    You can mention up to 4-5 tin numbers for a single vendor at 'Control' tab in master data T.Codes: XK01 or FK01. But you cant get the reports per tin number wise. You have to contact your developer to get this report.
    Thanks

  • Change in CST form 3% to 2%

    Hi,
    Our Company has recently go-live with MySAP-ECC-6.0 & TAXINN.
    The Govt of India changed CST form 3% to 2% recently.
    I have two options to change the same.
    a) By Creating New Tax Code -- this is OK with New PO but what to do with existing PO.
    b) IN FV12 by changing 3% to 2% but It changes the Tax Rate for existing PO also & crerate the problem with existing pending MIRO ( as system throw 2% CST IPO 3% for old GR also ).
    Please give your expert view on above.
    Regards
    Shyam Kogta

    Hello,
    I'd suggest to create a new tax code and assign 2% to it.
    Coz, you may be having Open Invoices raised earlier with 3% rate. You may receive the payment now. So there shuld not be any prblm with this change as you'd create a new tax code.
    Hope this helps

  • VAT and CST problem

    Hi All,
    I am facing two problems one with order and one with the invoice,
    1.While creating sales order for and intra state customer by default the system is picking the amount of the CST also along with VAT condition.Can any one help.And the same is not getting picked up into the invoice.Conditions records are maintained for both the condition types.
    2.The second one is that the tax conditions are not getting picked into the invoice.
    Can you please help me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ramesh.

    Dear Ramesh,
    When you are creating intra state sales order then only VAT shouls be applicable. normally system determines the VAT rate based on the following combination
    368     Country/PlntRegion/Region/TaxCl1Cust/TaxCl.Mat
    Here Plant region and region plays a major role in determining VAT or CST i.e., for VAT you should maintain condition record with Plant region and Region as same and also in case of CST plant region and region should never be same.
    TaxCl1Cust -- will determine wether the customer is taxable or not.
    TaxCl.Mat   -- will determine wether the Material is taxable or not.
    Note:in customer master under billing tab if you find your VAT condition type as first then the same should be there in the material master.
    If you have found in customer master VAT as first condition type and in material master VAT as second condition type then you should take care in changing the key combination accordingly.
    Carry out analysis (Go to conditions tab and click on analysis ) to find which key combination had determined both the condition types.

  • FREIGHT AFTER ED AND BEFORE TAX (CST/VAT)

    Hi Friends,
    We need the freight to be calculated after Excise duty and before Tax ( CST/VAT). For example
    Basic Value = 100
    ED 10% = 10
    ECS 2% = .2
    SECS 1% = .1
    10.3
    Freight = 10
    120.3
    CST 3% = 3.60
    Total Value = 123.90
    In our case Freight is calculation after TAX. But we need to calculation of CST/VAT includes freight.
    Kindly suggest how to make changes in pricing procedure.
    I created one condition in pricing procedure for freight, but the same is not transferring to tax procedure for calculation. I also created one condition in tax procedure. But value is not passing to tax procedure.
    Knidly give the solution at the earliest.
    Regards,
    Shital Deshpande

    Check in tax procedure(OBQ3) whether freight condition(Z*) is included after ed subtotal ?
    Whether you maintained condition record(FV11) for lumpsum Z* freight condition ?

  • TIN Creation algorithms in Oracle 11g

    In the Oracle 11g Developers Guide http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28400/sdo_intro.htm#sthref99 it mentions that "Oracle TIN generation software uses the Delaunay triangulation algorithm, but it is not required that TIN data be formed using only Delaunay triangulation techniques." I was wondering how would one go about implementing other TIN Algorithms such as Bowyer-Watson for the updating of existing TIN data in the SDO_TIN feature type.
    The fact that other Algorithms can be selected is also mentioned in the Oracle 11g Spatial book but no guideance on how. Has anyone implemented this either for 2.5D TIN or for full 3D TINs

    If you have different databases on same node you could choose to not set ORACLE_SID in shell init file but use instead interactive oraenv Oracle script to set the right ORACLE_SID.
    Please read Configuring the Operating System Environment Variables in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e10897/em_manage.htm#ADMQS12369
