CUCM SQL Query - MGCP EPs IP Addresses

Hello,
CUCM 9.x.
Could you please advice me the CLI sql query to get registered MGCP endpoints IP addresses?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
these IP's aren't stored in the SQL DB.
Try RISDB:
admin:show risdb query gateway
----------- Gateway Information -----------
Number of Gateway entries: 412
#registered, #unregistered, #rejected, StateId, #ExpUnreg
216, 14, 182, 13605, 0
Seq#, Gateway Name, IPAddress, IPv6Address, Desription, DChannel #, DChannel Status, Perf Object, Reg Status, Model Type, Http Support, #Reg Attempts, Prod Id, Box Prod Id, RegStatChg TimeStamp
1, BRI/S0/SU0/[email protected], 10.14.71.44, , BRI/S0/SU0/[email protected], 0, UP, 12, unr, 121, no, 0, 90, 30060, 1425375416

  • SQL query to find IP addresses in CUCM

    Hi ,
we are using CUCM version 7 and need to find the IP addresses of applications like Unity connection, UCCX,Third party billing server  by running SQL instead of seeing through GUI.
    Please advise.
    regds,
    aman

admin:run sql select name, ipaddr from appserver
    name             ipaddr
    =========   =============
    CUC8            10.x.x.x.
    CUC9            10.x.x.x
This will give all entries under System > Application Server.

  • CUCM SQL Query AND statement

So either I'm dense or it just doesn't exist. All I really want is a report of what devices are associated to an application user. We have a situation wherein we have two CTI applications and if a single device is associated to both the world comes crashing down. I wasn't able to find this in the GUI interface so I took to the CLI via SQL and I have my query working.
The following syntax will spit back all associated devices for user X:
    /*Show Devices associated with PBC-Genesys User*/
    select d.fkdevice,dv.name as DeviceName
    from applicationuserdevicemap as d
inner join device as dv on d.fkdevice=dv.pkid
    where fkapplicationuser = '5cad9858-2934-82ae-e5a4-6822ac390ed0'
And by simply changing the fkapplicationuser I can see devices associated with user Y:
    /*Show Devices associated with WBC-Genesys User*/
    select d.fkdevice,dv.name as DeviceName
    from applicationuserdevicemap as d
inner join device as dv on d.fkdevice=dv.pkid
    where fkapplicationuser = '0bbacbb2-0c38-7023-936c-733aedd8a9d8'
Now I would think a simple AND at the bottom of this query would return me a list of devices that happened to be associated to both but that isn't the case. Is this possible? Here's what I tried that doesn't work.
    /*Show Devices associated with PBC-Genesys AND WBC-Genesys Users*/
    select d.fkdevice,dv.name as DeviceName
    from applicationuserdevicemap as d
inner join device as dv on d.fkdevice=dv.pkid
    where fkapplicationuser = '5cad9858-2934-82ae-e5a4-6822ac390ed0' AND fkapplicationuser = '0bbacbb2-0c38-7023-936c-733aedd8a9d8'
I'm the first to admit I suck at SQL but I'm trying slowly to wrap my head around it.
    Thanks.

This should give you the required information:
    admin:run sql select d.name, d.description from applicationuserdevicemap audm1, applicationuserdevicemap audm2, applicationuser au1, applicationuser au2, device d where audm1.fkdevice=d.pkid and audm2.fkdevice=d.pkid and audm1.fkapplicationuser=au1.pkid and audm2.fkapplicationuser=au2.pkid and au1.name='Service1' and au2.name='Service2'

  • UCM Data Dictionary SQL Query for Determining IP Address

    Forum,

    I am open for suggestions...thx.

If, in CCMAdmin, you've got server hostnames rather than IP addresses, CallManager will use DNS to get the IP addresses of the other servers.

  • SQL query or function...

    Hi everyone,
Please help me to clarify this question
I have a "patient" table and a "address" table. And each patient has differnt types of addresses
like PMI,Mailing and default address i need to pick patient address in the order of preference
    (PMI,Mailing ,Default)
I have two options to get the address of a patient.Either write a SQL query to get the address of a
    patient(according to preference)
or write a function which checks
if there is PMI,Mailing and default
      take PMI
    or
If there is mailing and Default
    take mailing
    or
    take default.
which one is the best method to get the address of a patient?  SQL query or function..
Definitely everyone will say that it should be direct SQL query instead of multiple function calls.
But in my organization there are many developers which will get "patient address" in their application
or SQL code or PL/SQL code or from some
    'X' Business intelligence tool.
At this scenario is it best to have a function which every one will call and get a standardized output
    for every one.
    Question:
In my scenario which one is the best to have "SQL query or function"?
if i choose "function" i have to sacrifice the performance
if i choose "SQL query" i am not sure whether each and every developer querying the same way as it would be
Sorry if it is a dumb question to ask.
    Thanks in advance
    phani

question for hoek: what if i have to choose between SQL query and function? (suppose they dont accept to create a view)If views are not accepted (which is very strange imo), but you do need some 'standard object' which everybody can use, then you'd choose to use a function instead of everybody having 'their own query'.
It's a trade-off between maintaining standards and performance (calling PL/SQL from SQL is usually to be avoided due to context-switching, the other way around is OK).
One advantage of a view: no hassle with parameters you have to enter but never will use, you just pick the columns you need and there you go.
Other one: it's straightforward, simple and clear.
    It's easier to maintain.
But it all depends on what your function will return.
    Perhaps a REF CURSOR?
Your question reminds me of this interesting discussion:

  • Using a SQL Query in an Alert and Matching a String

I've created an alert in 12.0.4 using a SQL Query and the field that I'm trying to match is a string.  Originally the query returned multiple rows but when the alert still didn't fire, I modified the query WHERE clause to return only one row:
    NAME                                RESPONSE
    Are area lights working?            No
My expression in the metric is RESPONSE.  In the Monitor I'm matching a string equal to No.  (Do I need double quotes around the matchvalue?  Single quotes?  No quotes?)  The metric is in the 15min scan group, the role is xMII Developers and I'm in that role. The monitor alert string is ' =  '.  Both metric and monitor are active and I've subscribed to the monitor.  Other alerts in the 15min scan group (all based on tag queries) are firing off properly.
Why is nothing showing up in the Alert Log?

    David,
Did you figure out the answer?  If not, I will try to find someone to address your question.

  • HELP!   SQL Query:  Other ways to reorder column display?

I have a SQL query report with a large number of columns (users can hide/show columns as desired). It would be great if the column display order could be changed by changing the order of the columns in the SELECT list in the Report Definition, but that doesn't work -- it puts changed or added columns at the end regardless of the order in the SELECT list of the query.
Is there some other way to reorder the columns displayed without using the Report Attributes page? It's extremely tedious to move columns around using the up/down arrows which redisplays the page each time. Am I missing a way to change display order, or does anyone have a "trick" to do this? It's so painful....
When defining forms you can reoder columns by specifying a sequence number for each column. Just curious as to why reports were not done the same way, and are there any plans to address this in a future release?
    Karen

Yes, reordering columns is extremely painful.
It is supposed to be much improved in the next version.
    See
    Re: Re-ordering columns on reports
Moving columns up/down in Report  Attributes
    See my example at
    http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=24317:141
Basically, let the users move columns around until they are blue in the face, provide a Save button to save the column order in a user preference and reorder the columns when the page reloads.
Or you can use Carl's PL/SQL shuttle as the widget to specify the columns shown and their order. The shuttle is at http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=11933:27
    Hope this helps.

  • Can we generate the output of SQL Query in XML format ..

    Hi Team,
Can we generate an XML doc for an SQL Query.
I've seen in SQL Server 2000.It is generating the output of an SQL Query in xml format.
select * from emp for xml auto
    The output looks like
    <emp EMPNO="7369" ENAME="SMITH" JOB="CLERK" MGR="7902" HIREDATE="1980-12-17T00:00:00" SAL="2800" DEPTNO="20"/><emp EMPNO="7370" ENAME="SMITH" JOB="CLERK" MGR="7902" HIREDATE="1980-12-17T00:00:00" SAL="2800" DEPTNO="10"/>

Just a little bit of short hand.
Get the XML out of your database, via HTTP
Of course the easiest method is just to return an XMLType from a stored procedure and let the calling routine figure out what to do with it. Instead
of that way though, I'll show you how to do it via HTTP. It's all completely built into 10g and is super easy to use.
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW emps_and_depts AS
    SELECT e.employee_id AS "EmployeeId",
    e.last_name AS "Name",
    e.job_id AS "Job",
    e.manager_id AS "Manager",
    e.hire_date AS "HireDate",
    e.salary AS "Salary",
    e.commission_pct AS "Commission",
    XMLFOREST (
    d.department_id AS "DeptNo",
    d.department_name AS "DeptName",
    d.location_id AS "Location"
    ) AS "Dept"
    FROM employees e, departments d
    WHERE e.department_id = d.department_id
Some people hear web and immediately start salivating about security issues. Let me address that quickly. Just because you have the HTTP and/or
FTP servers running in the database, that does not mean you have a security problem. For one, I would hope your databases are behind a firewall.
Second, with the correct architecture (DMZ, app servers, etc) you can make this data available outside the firewall fairly transparently and third,
just because it's on the web does not mean the data MUST be available on the internet. This is a good way to make your data available on your
intranet. If you are worried about people INSIDE your firewall, that still doesn't preclude web based access. Follow Oracle security guidelines.
Before I show you how to get to your data, let's talk about URLs and URIs. A URL is a Uniform Resource Locater and URI is a Uniform Resource
Identifier. A URL is the way you would identify a document on the net, i.e. http://www.oracle.com is a URL. A URI is a more generic form of a URL.
Oracle supports three types of URI: HTTPURIType - basically a URL (which would be like the URL above), XDURIType - a pointer to an XDB resource
(usually an XML document but can be other objects), and DBURIType - a pointer to database objects.
It's the DBURIType that we're going to concentrate on here. The DBURIType let's us reference database objects using a file/folder paradigm. The
format for a DBURI is /oradb/<schema>/<table>. Oradb is shorthand for the database; it is not the database name or SID. My database is named XE
but I still use oradb in the DBURI. For example, the view we created above is in my XE database, is owned by HR (at least in my case) and is called
EMPS_AND_DEPTS. This can be referenced as /oradb/HR/EMPS_AND_DEPTS.
If the view had many rows and you wanted only one of them, you can restrict it by including a predicate. The documentation for XDB has a great
write up on Using DBURIs.In our case, we are going to write out the entire document. Now that you understand that the DBURI is a pointer to
objects in our instance, we can use that to access the data as a URL.
The format for the URL call is http://<machinename>:<port>/<DBURI>
In my case, my XE database is running on a machine called mach1 and is listening on port 8080. So to see the view we created above, I open my
    browser and navigate to: http//mach1:8080/oradb/HR/EMPS_AND_DEPTS
The created URL will be as http//mach1:8080/oradb/PUBLIC/EMPS_AND_DEPTS
If your database is set up correctly and listening on port 8080 (the default), your browser should ask you to login. Login as the user who created the
view (in my case HR). You should now get an XML document displayed in your browser.
And that's it. It doesn't get much simpler than that. If you get rid of the descriptive text above, it basically comes down to:
    Create a table or view
    Open your web browser
    Enter a URL
Enter a user ID and password
    View your XML
If you notice, Oracle formatted the data as XML for us. Our view returns scalar columns and an XML fragment called Dept. Oracle formatted the
return results into an XML format.
And as a side note, if you look closely, you'll see that my URL has PUBLIC where I said to put HR. PUBLIC is a synonym for all objects that your
logged in user can see. That way, if your user has been granted select access on many schemas, you can use PUBLIC and see any of them.

  • How to pull Roles and Policies from backend using SQL query in OIA

    Hello,
I have Roles and Policies defined in OIA with mapping each other and there is no direct extract report from OIA Web console.
Is there any oracle SQL query by which we can get the data and filter the Policies based on the role ?
Note: We have one Role having more than one Polcies defined in OIA.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks

I am quoting this from MOS Doc Id "Why would multiple session records be present in the User Sessions screen in P6 Web, and why might some of them have different IP addresses? (Doc ID 1600172.1)"
Multiple sessions show up for users since different sections of P6 Web have their own sessions associated with them. If a user is authorized to use multiple areas of the software they will have multiple sessions each time they log in. Additionally, if users are closing their browsers before logging out of P6 Web Access you might see some past sessions still appearing in the list. These will eventually be cleared out by background jobs, however you can also reset the sessions in the software by clicking the "Reset User" link (Administer > User Sessions > Manage User Sessions), or by choosing the "Reset All Users" link (Administer > User Sessions > Manage User Sessions) to do this for all past sessions.
Multiple IP addresses for sessions can happen when a user logs in from different machines. For example, a person may login at their desk, but then go to a colleagues workstation to discuss a project, and log in from there. Doing so will leave them with multiple IP addresses in the session records.
    Hope this helps

  • CUCM Database Query

We are in need of cross referencing or somehow consolidating our End User fields (user ID, Controlled Devices, and Primary Extension) with our phone DN fields (Directory Number, Associated Devices, and Line Text Label). I'm thinking the best way to go about this is through a SQL query but I'm just not familiar enough with the syntax or the CUCM database schema to get anything useful. There are a number of reasons we want this information:
    1. We sync with LDAP and want to be sure that the Line Text Label field not only exists but also matches the LDAP synced User ID field.
    2. Some end users have physical phones however do not have them assigned under Controlled Devices in End User configuration.
    3. Some end users do not have the Primary Extension assigned to them under End User configuration or it is incorrect.
    4. We want to verify that the Telephone Number field pulled from LDAP matches up with the users actual DN.
    Thank you!
    Michael M.

Under CUCM documentation, look for the Data Dictionary. Near the end there are a few pages where they show the relationships for some basic/core scenarios. (e.g. users, lines & devices)
Just be careful with the User<>Device association: There are multiple ways a user can be associated to a device!
You can either run SQL queries from the CUCM Command line ("run sql SELECT description FROM device WHERE name='SEP112233445566') or via AXL (A SOAP based API used to wrap SQL queries)

  • Emailing results of a SQL Query....

I am new to Oracle and was wondering if there is a way to create an email task that could be used to email results of a sql query. My query returns emails addresses that meet a specified criteria. I want to use an email task that takes these addresses as variables and sends out an email to the specified email address.
Anyone provide any help with how I might do this?

    Hi,
The odiSqlUnload has a "select" command. Is possible, at your process, work with the "LPAD()" and/or "RPAD()" function to complete the necessary whitespace at each column?
To the column heading I suggest you use the "union" like: (I put the lpad and rpad fuctions as example...)
    select col1, col2, col3
    from(
    select 1 as internal_order, 'header_col1' as col1, 'header_col2' as col2, 'header_col3' as col3
    from dual
    UNION
    select 2 as internal_order, RPAD(col1, 10, ' ') as col1 , LPAD(col2, 50, ' ') as col2 , col3
    from your_table)
    order by internal_order
Do you think this will work for you?

  • 401 Unauthorized after too many tables in AXL SQL Query

    Hi...
I have an app that sends several AXL calls. All work fine with the exception of one accessing MGCP data via the AXL SQL QUERY command. I have found that if I only do a couple of tables it works fine, but if I had in more than 3 I get a 401 unauthorized return. Now, I know the commands are built correctly becuase its working for every other command in the set and like I said if I only do 3 or less tables the query works. Also, if I SSH into the CM locally and do run sql with the full command, it returns all tables fine, which leads me to believe this is a restriction in the return of the axl soap call...
    Help?
I am using CM 6.0. The full query being passed in that returns 401 unauthorized is:
    SELECT MGCP.pkid, MGCP.DomainName, TypeProduct.Name AS GatewayProduct, CallManagerGroup.Name AS CallManagerGroup, MGCPSlotConfig.Slot, TypeMGCPSlotModule.Name AS UnitModule, MGCPSlotConfig.Subunit AS SubUnitIndex, TypeMGCPVic.Name AS SubUnitProduct, TypeMGCPVic.MaxNumPorts, MGCP.VersionStamp, MGCP.SpecialLoadInformation FROM TypeMGCPVic RIGHT OUTER JOIN MGCPSlotConfig ON TypeMGCPVic.Enum = MGCPSlotConfig.tkMGCPVic LEFT OUTER JOIN CallManagerGroup RIGHT OUTER JOIN MGCP ON CallManagerGroup.pkid = MGCP.fkCallManagerGroup LEFT OUTER JOIN TypeProduct ON MGCP.tkProduct = TypeProduct.Enum ON MGCPSlotConfig.fkMGCP = MGCP.pkid LEFT OUTER JOIN TypeMGCPSlotModule ON MGCPSlotConfig.tkMGCPSlotModule = TypeMGCPSlotModule.Enum ORDER BY MGCP.DomainName, MGCPSlotConfig.Slot, UnitModule DESC, MGCPSlotConfig.Subunit"
Again, this works locally on the CM machine, it works if I pull back some of the tables... The AXL trace logs do not have errors, they just stop (with a return soap call that isnt passed back because 401 is recieved).

Either the statistics are not up to date, the data values are skewed or you have some optimizer parameter set to none default to force index access.
Please post explain plan and optimizer* parameter settings.

  • Sql query runing slow with lower cost

    Hello
I am working on Oracle 11g and AIX.I have one sql query which is ruing slow as reported by user.
When i am commenting few line of code it is runing fast.
I noticed that the execution plan cost of first query is less and second ...as cost of sccond qurey is more. But users are say it is runing fast.
    How it can possiable ?
Any idea why second query is runing fast after commenting few columns in select and group by clause.

This doesn't address your question, but let me suggest that for your own sanity you start brining some formatting to your sql. And for the sanity of those on this forum of whom you expect assistance, you preserve that formatting through the use of the code tags (see the FAQ for details).
I've done the first one for you, as an example of what I mean
