Cursor settings

Hi there ,
I found a javascript code in a thread Re: Cursor settings
OABodyBean bodyBean = (OABodyBean)pageContext.getRootWebBean();
String javawait = "javascript:document.body.style.cursor=\"wait\";";
pageContext.putJavaScriptFunction("update",javawait);
String javaS = "javascript:update();";
bodyBean.setOnLoad(javawait);
This code changes the cursor's default state to waiting state.
I tried using this code to change cursor during event handling. But as event is handled in processFormRequest , so its not possible to set a web bean property over there.
So is there any other way to change cursor to waiting state during event handling

Hi ,
I got the following Error , as i tried the above code in processFromRequest

  • Changing default cursor settings

    Hi,
I need to change the default cursor settings on an xy graph.  Currently the cursor positions itself at the beginning of each data set.  See attached.  You should be able to see the cursor displayed in bright yellow.  How do I change the default conditions for displaying the cursor at the beginning of each data set from say: 04:19:38 PM, 09/28/12, (as in the attached example) to say: 04:19:38 PM, 09/28/11.  I just changed the two digit year - to keep it simple!  Thank you.  John

    Hi John,
It sounds like you may not have your VI updating to show changes to controls when they are changed. I would recommend using an event structure in a while loop to poll for changes to the cursor and update them on the graph. I attached an example I wrote (opens in LabVIEW 2010 and more recent) to show you what I am talking about.
It is hard for me to understand what you are talking about with the small snippets of your code I am seeing. If you have further questions, please post an entire VI (or a smaller example VI that reproduces the issue) so it will be easier to help you.

  • Logic cursor settings

    Hello,
I'm a Pro Tools guys trying to learn Logic 9. I'm trying to find a simple setting that makes the cursor go back to where it started after playing. (like pro tools) Can this be done? I'm not sure what to search for in Logic help. So if anyone out there has come across this problem and solved it, please share!
    Thanks!

    Hi
In the Key commands you may set up a key strokes for 'Stop or Play from last position'.
Or click with the Marquee tool in the arrange and press play. You can return the playhead by pressing 'Stop' or playback from there by pressing Play.

  • Cursor changes to X shape at certain sizes

I currently am running Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7. When I am using the Brush or Pencil tools, sometimes the Cursor will change to a curved X shape. This appears to happen at certain sizes (between 65px to250px) and then goes back to the normal circle shape when larger or smaller. The brush itself paints normally but there are times where I need to know exactly what areas it is going to color. I am using the default brushes, no custom ones.
I have attached a picture of what the cursor looks like when it changes:
How do I make it so that this does not occur?

How are your Photoshop cursor settings set and does this happen for all brush types tips etc,

  • Adjusting the Local Layout (GUI settings) from abap

    Hi,
Is is possible to adjust the local layout (GUI settings) from abap program?
Ex. Local layout --> options --> cursor settings --> (cursor position) Automatic TAB at Field End
    Kind regards,
    Keld Gregersen

It's stored in registry of the local PC. I never tried, but with methods REGISTRY_SET_DWORD_VALUE & REGISTRY_SET_VALUE of class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES you might be able to set it.

  • Brush cursor vs painted area size

    Hi.
Does anyone know how to deal with the following issue I’ve encountered in PS CC?  It’s probably a simple setting adjustment, but I’ve been unable to reference it in the Photoshop Guide or elsewhere.
When using a large square custom brush the cursor preview projects about 10% larger than the actual area that it paints on the canvas. I think I've tried ever combination of the cursor settings in Preferences, and all the options in the brush menu’s to no avail.
I jumped from an earlier version of PS to the CC version, in the earlier software, as default, one simply placed the Full Scale cursor image over the canvas and the result was precisely the same when painted.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look under System>Preferences>Accessibility>Display and see if the Cursor Size is set to something other than Normal
(you want the Cursor Size set to Normal)

  • Multiple cursors...

    Hi!
I have a question that Natinst seems to know very little about. I have
two graphs. I need to set the x-value of two cursors per graph via my
program. The y-value is unimportant. How do I do that? I tried what
seemed to a good idea, the cursor x attribut node but nothing happened.
    Please help!
    Regards
    /Stefan

Ah. Well I was also misunderstanding your problem. If you want to progra
    mmatically
define a new cursor, you need to use the Cursor List. Assuming you want
    to keep the
current cursors, read the Cursor List, append a new element to it with
    all cursor
settings however you want them, then write the Cursor List. Active
    Cursor will always
pin to the currently valid cursors on the graph. It will never create
    new cursors.
It also sounds like you are breaking the attribute nodes apart. They
    execute from top
to bottom and can have intermixed reads and writes. This makes it
    easier to sequence
without introducing sequence structures or race conditions. Just grow
    the node to have
the number of terminals you need, then popup to select what you need and
    to make it a
    read or a write.

  • Mouse Cursor is red

The mouse cursor on the screen has turned red and become larger. Every time it passes by something it clicks on it. what can I do to fix this.

    Hello Dejay74464,
I see that you are having problems with the mouse cursor on your computer. I would like to help with this issue but I need some information.
What operating system are you using?
If you check inside of mouse properties can you change the settings for the pointer/cursor? To get to the mouse properties go to the start menu and type "mouse" in the search box under all programs. There should be a "pointers" tab where you can change the cursor settings.

  • My mouse cursor disappears behind the picture I'm working with!

While I was working on a picture in Photoshop, my mouse cursor disappeared. No crosshairs (I've already tried turning the caps lock on and off). It was just gone. I moved my mouse around and it appears whenever I choose a new tool or when I'm working with the layers or when I use something from the drop down bar, the mouse is there when I don't have anything open in Photoshop--just when I have the program open--but whenever I start working on a picture or a blank canvas it disappears, like it's going underneath the canvas (I found I can still draw and erase on the canvas, I just can't tell where since the cursor is gone). This is frustrating because I use Photoshop to create my digital artwork and my drawing pad is small, so I need to know where my cursor is in order to draw accurately.
Things I've done to resolve the problem thus far: I've downloaded the current Adobe update, I've tried adjusting my advanced properties settings on my computer, I've tried readjusting my cursor settings in my preferences, I've tried resetting my presets--thinking I might have miss clicked a combination of keys to make it happen--I've also tried closing out and going back into Photoshop, even turned my computer off, let it sit, and then turned it back on. But my mouse cursor continues to disappear underneath the canvas.
I plan on uninstalling and then reinstalling my Photoshop software--I hope that works. Otherwise, if that doesn't, does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Okay, so I figured this out how to resolve this issue a few days after posting my question. If you have the Nezumi Pro plugin for your Photoshop there is an option in the Nezumi settings to hide your cursor which can be easily activated by simply miss clicking F6. Once I figured this out and changed my cursor settings back to normal, my mouse reappeared.

  • I encountered my cursor at times start to click non-stop ( 12k clicks a day). Can somebody advise?

The cursor will sometmes, at random intervals, click very rapidly and whatpulse recorded around 12k clicks a day. The clicks are so rapid that it renders the computer useless until it stops. The cursor can still be controlled but will immediately click anything that it is over.

Check your trackpad/cursor settings in System Preferences.

  • Paint does not fill up brush

While working on an image tonight, i noticed my hard edged brush wasn't being filled with paint. Doing a simple mask, the brush circle is not filled with paint. There's a white space between the actual paint laid in the mask and the circle indicating the brush size. This makes it very difficult to control the mask edges!
Using simple round brush, hard edge, 100 % opacity, flow and fill.

I feel like I made an inadvertant key stroke that caused the change, but can't figure out what the heck I did!
    Help?
    Thanks,
    Barry

I showed you my cursor settings.  I never get a red preview I only get the current color as I paint.  With a clone stamp I do get a preview not red I get the sample area as a preview.  Windows PrtScrn capture do not capture the cursor so it would not show brush outline.  Os I did two video captures the show brush out line.  The fir one shows the Clone stamp preview I sampled in a green area and moved the cursor around in a white are. The second shows painting.  Brush hardness is changed and brush options are changed using the icons in the options bar for pen support during the video.

If you can not get it to fill the cursor some way check your display adapters driver is the latest and try turning off GPU support.

  • My cursur, trackpad, and USB mouse are going crazy

This all happen just today. I don't really have control over the cursur and I have no idea why. The trackpad doesn't really work and the mouse is just jumping around.
Any ideas? or anything I could reset?
    This litterally happened over night.....
    p.s.
this took about 20 mins to type...

I have this same problem with my MacBook Pro (only since updating to Snow Leopard 10.6.4 from Leopard). I do not use a mouse. Periodically, I will find that I cannot move my cursor or use my trackpad. I usually use 1 finger to move the cursor and when this happens, it takes 2 fingers and it is jumpy (not moving exactly where I want it). Sometimes I cannot select anything or enter won't work.
I originally thought I must have accidentally hit a wrong button when typing. It usually goes away on its own after several minutes and I don't know why or how.
It's as if some setting got changed, but when I went to the trackpad / cursor settings, nothing appears different and I don't see anything to change to put it back the way it was.
Either it is a legitimate glitch with the S/W that needs fixing or some kind of setting issue that has an easier fix than going through safe mode and doing whatever the other poster mentioned.
I am somewhat familiar with safe mode on a Windows machine, but not on my Mac. I am fairly new to the Mac (have had it about 10 months, but still a lot I don't know).
I want an easy fix. It does not appear virus-related (or user-error) as nothing else seems affected and it goes away as suddenly as it came. It is always when I am using the internet, but that is 95% of what I use the Mac for. Again, I never had this problem with Leopard, and I only upgrade to Snow Leopard within the past 2 months or so after months (about 8) of using Leopard with no problem.

  • Problem with brush preview in PS CS4

When my instructor shows the brush preview mode, his brush looks like the selected brush, which means that if there's a lot of feathering on it, he can see that. In the same mode and with the same cursor settings in the preferences, I only get a circle indicating the size of the brush. There's nothing to see about the relative hardness of it. COuld this be because I'm running on Windows XP? If not, how can I get to see the brush the way he does. Thanks for your help.
