Custom layout for Bid comparison..

Hi all,
For a bid invitation, we can see a Compare button, which when clicked gives a comparison of all the bids submitted for that Bid Invitation.
But our customer wants a custom Bid Comparison form(layout) to be called in a format required by them, when the Compare button is clicked.
Is it possible to call a custom smartform on the button click?? If so, how do i achieve it??

Hi,
Creating a layout for any report is very easy.
Go to TCODE FBL1N, in the output screen, below the menu options, you will find few buttons. you will find the button select layout, click on any one layout, and then click on the button select fields and copy the hidden fields from the select fields option, add the fields you wish to add and then save the layout with a new name. Or you can also go through menu options - Settings ==> Special Fields - Include your special fields from the available tables. (This is cross client configuraiton)

Custom Layout for Web Page Composer

Hi everybody,
I'm tring to follow a guide, to create a custom layout for the web page composer.

I builded the portal project and I deployed it on the portal.
Actualy i can see and select my custom layout and i can drop the element on the container from the page builder, but, when i save the content I can't see any elements anymore.
If I publish the page I see my custom Layout... but empty, without any paragraph or article.
Do u have any idea on why this could appen ?

Create a Custom Layout for page

I'm trying following the example -> Example 7-4 Sample Code for the example.layout File

I've found it's worthwhile spending time fiddling and adjusting Lightroom's templates and saving to Custom Pages but I haven't found a way of removing a custom page layout once I've finished using it or tweaked it some more. Can you say how to remove one, please, johnbeardy? I can put them in and out of Favourites but the Custom Pages list just gets too long.

Custom layouts for Address book - plugins? utilities?

I checked out Dr. Mac's site (I think that was the name) instructions on creating custom layouts which will also work with address book. It didn't help since I want to design my own layout and be able to preview it in address book. Unfortunately that feature doesn't seem to exist (unless I've missed it) so I'd like to find either a utility or plugin that allows me to do this within address book. I want to set the column widths, the widths between each column, where to put the page number etc.
Your comments and/or suggestions would be most welcome.

you can't. there is nothing like this in address book. no plugins or 3rd party tools for this either. and I don't understand what you really mean by a custom layout when talking about address book. address book just lists addresses. you can customize which fields and address book entry can have but that's it.

Custom Layout for Web Dynpro Proxy page

Hey all
I have a requirement to display 4-5 Web Dynpro for ABAP iViews on a page.
I have the option of using the standard PRT page to display these iViews for which I can create a custom layout using com.sap.portal.layouts.default.par and the simple JSP layout file in it.
However, they should really be on a Web Dynpro Proxy page but custom layouts created using above component wont work.
In the document [Integrating Web Dynpro and SAP NetWeaver Portal|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/0c7b2f25-0c01-0010-f2a2-f8a65a9dcad9] it says -
Within the SAP NetWeaver 04s release it is not possible to define application specific page layouts for Web Dynpro pages. Within the SAP NetWeaver 07 release this will be possible. Layouts for Web Dynpro page are implemented then as Web Dynpro components implementing a special ILayout Web Dynpro component interface.
Has this been released as yet?
Anyone find the APIs or workaround for this?

I have the same question, but can't find any good solutions for this.
For standard portal applications you can use com.sap.portal.design.layouts and modify layouts via JSP. But all webdynpro proxy pages are using their own layout.
I'd like to change that layout too.

Custom layout for product list view

Hi all,
Can I create a template .tpl that is assigned only to either the product detail or list view?......or has any created a workaround for this below?
I want to display a list of products in a particular category, with a sub-menu down the left hand side of the page, but the detail view of the individual product to be across the full page width. I have several categories each with it's own sub-menu ( for the side).
I currently have a few templates, containing the various side menus, formatted to display as I need, but of course, this layout gets assigned also to the detail view, which is what I don't want.
Would be great to see other ideas.

Do you have any info on when this might be happening? Hoping to have this site completed in 2 weeks. Best workaround option atm is to have separate pages ( with their custom side menus) with individually tagged products displayed. The detail view for the product can then have the full width view. - Bit of a long winded way around, but I don't see any other option if this is the desired result.

Make a custom layout in IH01 transaction for all users profile..

i have a problem..
today my co-worked asked me to find a way to make a layout in T IH01 which is the same for all the users who log in the system..
i explain:
i choose functional location
press F8 and see my functional location selected..
now i want to see other fields going to settings --> field selection.. and choose all the field i want..
now i have my custom layout for this standard transaction..
but i want to keep in that way also for the other profiles.. ( ex: i use prophile DEVELOP, i want to make the same for DEVELOP1, DEVELOP2 and so on...)

Hi
Select the fields and Create /DEVELOP layout.
Save it by giving Standard namespace /DEVELOP.
Next save layout with /DEVELOP1, /DEVELOP2....
Repeat the above steps for the required times.
To Save the layout
Settings -> Layout -> Save As Variant.

Portlets not coming as per layout for the Cutomized layout structure

I have created new Customized layout for our application.
I could see the cutomized layout properly in Workshop. When i am adding the portlets to all of the placeholders in layout and running the portal , out put i could see all the portlets are coming in vertical and not as per structure as per i defined.
COuld not understand why it is happening when it is displaying properly in Workshop IDE.
One more issue i could not define the Height attribute to the placeholders .How to have cutomized heights for the placeholders?

First test it using ADF Business Components tester. Does it work there?
If not, check your view link definition.
If so, make sure you have defined the correct View Object Usages in your application structure file.

How to give link between 2 customized layout in f110 transactions.

I am developing customized layout for f110 transaction.I have developed layour for cheques as zcheques and for payment advice,i have developed layout as zpayadvice.When i am running f110 transaction..it is giving output of cheques only,it is not giving payment advice report.when I am using standard prenumbered cheques form and it is diplaying my customized layout of payment advice(zpayadvice)..this is my porblem..Is there any interlink between customized layouts in f110 transaction.how can i solve this problem.

Another layout for outbound call in ICM 7.5

WorkFlow Help for BID Acceptance

Hello Experts,
I am having an issue with SRM standard workflow for BID acceptance. The workflows I am referring are these.
WS79000010 Without approval,
WS79000002 One-step approval
We have implemented WS79000010 Without approval, and we want to implement a custom workflow for bid acceptance to send some notifications for some business reasons.
When I accept a BID(BUS2202), and when I check the event trace in "SWEL" tcode, there is an event with object type BUS2200 and an object GUID. But when I check the GUID in BBP_PD, the guid is actually linked to BUS2202 which is actually what i processed.
I am guessing there is a system issue and I need your help to rectify this. Is there any OSS message which I was not able to find?
If this is a standard behaviour, then please help me to understand why this is happening and how to go about

Hi,
The workflows (WS79000010 Without approval,WS79000002 One-step approval)you mentioned are for BID approval.i.e as soon as the bidder created a Bid in the system for a Bid invitation,these workflows should get triggered.
The OBJECT TYPE for Bid invitation is BUS2200 while for Bid/Quotation is BUS2202.So what you see in SWEL tcode if the event trace for the BID INVITATION (BUS2200) workflow which you might have aslo activated in your system.
Please check again in tcode SWE2 whether the event linkage is active for the Workflows WS79000010 and WS79000002 after which they should get triggered on the event of BID creation.

Why custom layout not take effect if navigating from left tree

Hi,
I specified a custom layout for a repository in KM Content. The layout is a duplicate of AdminExplorer, which contains a tree structure in the left panel.
The problem is, when I navigate the repository in the right panel, the custom layout is always in effect. However, if I navigate from the tree structure in the left panel, the custom layout doesn't take effect.
Anyone knows why? I wonder if I forget to configure something, or this is indeed not supported?
