Custom1, creation date in PDF

Hi
I have a verity collection that I want to order by creation
date, now I know I need to make use of a custom field in verity to
do this, how do I customise the style.sfl file to allow for
creation date, this is really testing me and I am sure it is very
simple, any assistance would be greatly appreciate, I am usin CF
7.01.
Regards
MW

Dear Manus,
Not sure what you mean by "Medium" format in Systems Preferences.  I tried the "Date & Time" preference. Switched from Digital to Analog.  No difference.
As you can see the "Date Imported" is different both in content and format than Date Time Original.  I am looking for the "long" version of the Date & Time.
Thanks.

  • How to change pdf metadata - creation date

I have a number of old documents that have been scanned and converted to pdf's. I would like to change the metadata in each of these to reflect the documents ORIGINAL creation date on paper (not the scan date). Is there any simple tool to do this? (Each document's date is different so I will have to manually change it.)
I can not find a way to do this in OS X, and the tools that I have found like A Better Finder change the creation date in the File Info panel, but if I open it in Adobe Acrobat 8 the metadata remains unchanged.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you. I did find this also on Adobe's website. It is an option, but since I an archiving a number of documents over a 30 year creation period, each of which has a different creation date it seems cumbersome as I would have to create and save a different XML file for each pdf I wanted to update. I was hoping for a more efficient tool that accomplish the task.

  • Want to get placed images Dimension and Creation Date in Catalog

Below is the script which is free with CS4. Is there anybody who can modify this script in a way which provide the creation date and dimension of the images in image catalog.

//Each file can be labeled with the file name, and the labels are placed on
//a separate layer and formatted using a paragraph style ("label") you can
//modify to change the appearance of the labels.

  • Changing creation date on adobe acrobat 9

I've got a folder full of old PDF files at work. They are all labeled DD-MM-YY to signify the date they were made but the pdf's were originally in Word format and when they were all converted to PDF's, they all took that day as their created date. I'm looking for a way to change the created date on these hundreds of PDF's to match the date in the file name. Is there an easy way to do this?  I have to print the documents and organize them chronologically by date.  However, I need to also have corresponding creation dates with the documents.  I'm not good with scripting or programming however I am great at following step by step directions.  I would greatly appreciate help on this since this is a semi time sensitive project.
    Thank you.

Acrobat does not offer any way to change creation date. It is correct: by definition, it is the day when the PDF was made, it is not supposed to be set to a different date that might be more convenient.

  • What changes Modified Date in PDF Tab of Properties?

I have a PDF file.  When I click on Properties and then click the PDF tab it shows me a Creation Date and a Modified Date.  The Created Date appears to be the date the file was actually created by someone else on another computer.  The file was emailed and then downloaded from a second computer to a flash drive, and then uploaded to my computer.  What is the Modified Date recording?  When I try to repeat the procedure by emailig, downloading and then uploading the Modified Date doesn't change.

Any modification of the file changes the Modified Date.

  • Import from backup-lost creation date

Help! I had to wipe my hard drive . . .reinstalled Iphoto. When importing photos back into Iphoto, there are no long any original creation date, just the dates of the backup, and the new import.
I know that I can batch change to the original creation dates (after looking up the original dates), but I have thousands of files. Is this a fixable bug? Any help will be really appreciated! Thanks . . .

    peabodyonline:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. There's an application, PhotoInfo, that can batch change folders of files. However, all of the files will have the same date with a user added delta time added. The downside to this is that iPhoto won't recognize the change unless those files are imported into iPhoto after the edit. Well, not exactly right. There's Joe's iPhoto Date Applescripts and one may read the date in the file, after changing with PhotoInof, and write to iPhoto's database file so they are recognized in iPhoto. Check out the scripts here: http://www.joemaller.com/iphoto/iphoto_scripting.html
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application, iPhoto dB file backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • No Data in PDF file in FTP server

    Hi All,
I am trying to place a PDF file in FTP server.
    Used
CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF to convert spool to PDF
    SCMS_TEXT_TO_XSTRING
FTP_R3_TO_SERVER to transfer data to FTP.
I am able to see PDF file in FTP and no of pages matches with that of R/3 but there is no data in PDF file.

To get pdf file , you need to set the itcpo-tdgetotf = 'X' and need to pass in the exporting parameter (options in open_form  function module ).Then in close_form function module take all the data of otfdata table into an internal table . Then use SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_OTF_PDF function module to convert it to pdf.
I will show with an  example.
    tables itcpo.
DATA: ch_otf  TYPE  STANDARD  TABLE OF  itcoo.
    DATA: w_otf TYPE itcoo.
DATA: w_pdf TYPE solisti1. "For PDF
    DATA: i_content_txt TYPE soli_tab.

      DATA: w_transfer_bin TYPE sx_boolean. "Content
      DATA: i_content_bin TYPE solix_tab, "Content
            wa_content_bin TYPE solix,
            i_objhead TYPE soli_tab.
    itcpo-tdnoprint  = 'X'.
      itcpo-tdpreview = 'X'.
      itcpo-tdgetotf = 'X'.
These three parameters need to be passed along with other required parameters
      CALL FUNCTION 'OPEN_FORM'
           EXPORTING form = xformular
                     language = ekko-spras
                     OPTIONS = itcpo

    LOOP AT ch_otf INTO w_otf.
        CONCATENATE w_otf-tdprintcom w_otf-tdprintpar
        INTO w_pdf.
        APPEND w_pdf TO i_content_txt.
      ENDLOOP.
converting otf file to pdf file
      CALL FUNCTION 'SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_OTF_PDF'
        EXPORTING
          format_src      = temp1        "'OTF'

          OTHERS          = 2.
Then open dataset and transfer to ftp of the content of table content_bin(i_content_bin) as shown in above example.
I think this will be helpful for you

  • Help with exporting data from pdf form

I have about 100 pdf forms that I created in adobe forms central and distributed as a pdf form (rather than on the web). I am trying to export the data into a spreadsheet but when I export it, the fields are all jumbled in the csv file, as in they are not in the same order. I need to export the data all together so I'm going to the forms menu and selecting "manage form data" and then selecting "merge data files into spreadsheet". I tried exporting a single file but that gave me something really weird.
Please help, I have a deadline next week to analyze this data and can't make sense of it once it is exported to a spreadsheet.

Would you please share your form with me and send me one of your pdf forms and some of the csv files?
You can share your form by doing the following:
    1. Click on the “Share” icon on the bottom left corner.
    2. Click on “Add Collaborator” on the popup menu.
    3. Enter [email protected] under “People to share with”.
    4. Set subject to "Export data from pdf form"
    5. Click the “Share” button on the bottom right of the dialog.
    Thanks

  • Payment Program Creation Date and User (is this in any table in SAP R/3)?

    Dear Experts!
The treasury guy asked me whether there would be a way to recover the "Payment Program" Creation Date and Created by (User) from Payment Program Executions (F110 transaction).
I searched on the REGU* tables and I didn't find out this information.
Does anybody know whether there is any table where this is recorded?
NOTE: We cannot use the information from "Proposal Log" because the log is removed from the Productive System and only the last 3 (three) days are remaining.
    Thanks and Kind Regards,
    Daniel Carvalho.

    Hello "The Wirtschaftsmann",
Thanks for the reply. However, I need the Creation Date and Creation by of the Proposal / Payment Run steps.
Not sure if this information is available nowadays at SAP. I opened an incident with SAP, let's see what they reply to us.

  • How can I change the file creation date?

I recently downloaded more than 1,000 photos from my vacation. I'm preparing to burn DVDs for a friend, and I noticed that when I copy the photos to the desktop, they don't all have the same date. I have read a couple of discussions here about the difference between photo creation date and file creation date, and I understand the difference. But something seems odd to me.
For purposes of illustration, let's take two photos: "A" was taken with the camera in the landscape position (how one normally holds a point-and-shoot); "B" was taken with the camera held in the portrait position (rotated 90 degrees). The photos were taken on April 24, about three minutes apart, but not imported into iPhoto until May 19.
In iPhoto, both files show the actual creation date. Yay!
The problem is with the files after having been copied to the desktop.
When copied to the desktop, the info panel for photo "A" shows April 24 for both the "created" and "modified" dates. Photo "B," however, shows May 19 for the "created" and "modified" dates.
Apparently, when the "B-style" photos were imported into iPhoto, the app automatically rotated them so that they are viewed correctly (without having to turn your head sideways). This is a very nice feature, but the result is that the file date changes.
Is there any way to change this? I want the DVD to show the date the photo was created, not imported to iPhoto. Picky, I know … but I'm like that.

Apparently, when the "B-style" photos were imported into iPhoto, the app automatically rotated them so that they are viewed correctly (without having to turn your head sideways). This is a very nice feature, but the result is that the file date changes.
Correct.  Your camera has an Auto-Rotate feature. However, the camera does not actually rotate any pixels in the file, but instead flags it with an instruction: "Display me this way". This is a tag in the Exif metadata. When you import a file with this tag iPhoto creates a modified version. It does this because most of the apps that integrate with it -  email clients, word processors etc - simply don't understand this Exif tag. So if you used the shot in a word processing doc, uploaded it to many Web site etc, the shot would come out sideways.
iPhoto has nothing to say about File dates. There are various file utilities that will edit the dates on Files
