Customize Javadoc for different comment style

Can we customize the java doc to look for a different comment style i.e. look for ## My comments # rather than /** My comments */

Actually I wanted to use JavaDoc utility on some other programming language which has same syntax as Java and differs only in Commenting style.
Is it possible to use the Javadoc utility on some other programming language to generate the docs

    How to call hr_location_api.create_location for different address style with only those fields that belongs specific to  that address style. It should decide at run time means at run time it will come to know the type of address style and based on that only the fields which belong to address details mapped to calling hr_location_api.create_location.
    Thanks in advance.

    You can create a wrapper package on top of the API (hr_location_api.create_location)
    In the wrapper package you set all the values dynamically based on your requirements(say the style and add_line columns are populated on your conditions) and then you call the API.
    Does that not work ?

  • Creating a PDF that is customizable/interactive for different companies and representatives

    I am rather new to Adobe, however I am able to use most of the software (illustrator, indesign, Photoshop, LiveCycle)  just fine.
    My issue is I am not sure which program/technique I should use for an interactive PDF I need to create.
    I am trying to create a PDF document that will be around 50 pages.  This document I will distribute to representatives in my company who work for many different financial institutions.  I somehow want to create this PDF for them to be able to customize by inserting their financial institution's logo and date to the footer and insert their name to title page (and any other applicable pages).
    If possible, I was hoping there was a way to include a page where our representatives could select from a checklist which of the 50 pages of the PDF they wanted to include in their document.  The representatives also are not that tech savvy and think just telling them to delete the pages from the PDF could cause potential problems.  Also a checklist would be simple and look much more professional.
    The representatives would not have access to any Adobe design software, so the final document would have to be some sort of interactive/customizable PDF through Acrobat.
    I am kind of lost as to how I can create this PDF and so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!  It's also possible I may be in the wrong program forum.  So apologize if I am.
    Thanks!

    This can be done using Adobe Acrobat yes.
    You need to decide how many uses this item will get. The reason is you have to specially enable the forms so that the users can use Reader to save the changes afterwards. These enabled files have use restrictions. You can send them to 500 people and they can use them as many times as they want or you can send them to as many people as you want but can only collect the item back 500 times.

  • MDS Customize metadata for different user. Jdev 11.1.7

    I have a VO, ExampleVO. and i have 2 user, user1, user2.
    I want customize MDS
    user1 add one attribute , attr1, to ExampleVO through MDS session. ( using session to get MetadataObject, and get DOM, then add new attr1 to the DOM)
    but user2 not.
    I want the VO only display attr1 to user1. When user2 login, user2 can't see attr1.
    How can i customize this?
    I have changed SiteCC(), in the getValue() method, i return different value for user1 and user 2.
    But when I add attr1 using user1 and logout.  Then login as user2, can also see the attr1. This is not what i want.
    I am new to this. If my explanation is not clear, pls let me know.
    Thank you very much.

    I am able to fix this issue. After a series of R & D I was able to find that the root cause is %APPDATA%\jdeveloper. Deleting the relevant directory will solve this issue. In fact, I tried to delete the entire jdeveloper directory under %APPDATA% and the jdev 11.1.1.7 form generation issue got resolved. Those who find "referential integrity" issue may follow this approach.

    I would like to apply different paragraph styles to the text, depending if it is viewed on portrait or landscape mode, but everytime I change one the other changes automatically. Is there a way to break this link?

    Unfortunately, iBA doesn't provide a lever to pull that can make a particular text style orientation specific.

  • How can i set different font for different tabs/pages

    I want to set different fonts for different tabs/pages?
    is it possible to do the same? If yes how?
    I can change the fonts under tools>options>contents>advanced. but that changes global settings.
    tried some add ons too- but that too changes the global settings.
    some pages like tweetdeck do not display icons etc properly under custom fonts.
    when i check "allow pages to select their own font" tweetdeck shows up fine but a number of other pages show fonts that are too big or some non standard fonts.
    Is there a way where i can select site default fonts for some sites/tabs, and custom fonts for other sites/tabs?
    otherwise i have to open different sites in different browsers- say i use my custom fonts- which apply globally, and open tweetdeck etc in Internet Explorer or Chrome etc. if i can have all tabs in one window/browser, that would be great.

    It's not a built-in feature to override a page's styles on a tab-by-tab or site-by-site basis, but perhaps someone has created an add-on for this?
    It also is possible to create style rules for particular sites and to apply them using either a userContent.css file or the Stylish extension. The Greasemonkey extension allows you to use JavaScript on a site-by-site basis, which provides further opportunity for customization. But these would take time and lots of testing to develop and perfect (and perfection might not be possible)...
    Regarding size, does the zoom feature help solve that part? In case you aren't familiar with the keyboard and mouse shortcuts for quickly changing the zoom level on a page, this article might be useful: [[Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages]].

  • Javadoc for private classes methods

    I know the Javadoc tool is primarily used for documenting a public API.
    Is it considered bad style ever to use it for internal documentation.... description of what private methods are for, why they were selected, etc. It seems like that could be useful too.
    Thanks for any thoughts,
    John

    Hi,
    As stated above, javadoc will not be generated for private methods if you don't use that switch. But that's not what I want to say...
    javadoc should be used to document what a method does, and the expected arguments etc. It should not say how it solves it's problem (with a few exceptions, e.g. a sorting algorithm can state if it is stable or not, and best/wors case scenarios and execution times).
    So I have adopted to some thins I saw a very long time ago, but I can't remember where. I usually document code in the following format.
    * Javadoc
    * Documentation of the method, arguments, etc.
    /* Impl note:
    * A note about how the method is implemented / a short note
    * about things one have to think about etc.
    public void method() {
    }So I use both javadoc and implementation comments. (But implementation comments are only used if a method is complex or hard to understand)

  • Re: Running the same (Forte) application multiple times -for different

    Hi
    We had the same problem - how to deploy a number of identical applications, using each their own db.
    (for training).
    The solution we used is to wrap the entire application into different applications by using a very small
    module called KURSUS01, KURSUS02 etc, that did nothing but call the start procedure of the main app.
    Then in the dbsession connect, we made a call appname to get the application name, and appended the
    first 8 chars to the dbname. Thus our dbnames now points to logicals name: rdbdataKURSUS01, rdbdataKURSUS02 etc.
    All this allows us to deploy the identical apps in the same env, or change one version, and run both the old
    and new program on the same pc and server at the same time (eg. KURSUS01 and KURSUS02).
    I also think this is a kludge - but it works nicely!

    Subject: Running the same (Forte) application multiple times - for different business clients.
    Hi All
    We have a number of different business clients all willing to use our
    application.
    The (forte) application is to run on our machines etc for these (business)
    clients.
    All (business) clients will have their data kept in separate Oracle DBs
    (instance).
    The problem now is that the entire (forte) application is written using
    DBSessions.
    Now, depending on what business client needs to be serviced (so to speak) we
    need to attach to the right DB - or use the "right" SO.
    The two options we can think of are:
    Option1:
    Programatic change to somehow "know" what (business) client (DB) I'm talking
    about and then use the right DB.
    Pro:
    Only one forte environment to maintain
    Can run multiple (business) clients on same PC at the same time
    Con:
    Requires many program changes
    bending O-O rules(?)
    can't dynamically name SOs so can it be done at all? (ResourceMGRs maybe?)
    Option2:
    Use separate environments! One for each business client.
    Pro:
    More defined separation of app and data,
    SLA-easy
    Con:
    Maintain "n" number of environments
    Can only run the application for one environment (business client) at a time
    on one PC - Big Negative here!
    Not knowing any feasible solution to option 1 (without much code changes and
    developer moaning) I would go for option two; as I have already worked on
    multi-environment setups on VMS back at the Hydro (hi guys).
    I would appreciate any comments from anyone who has solved this problem.
    How, Why Pro Con etc.

  • Payment terms for different products from a single vendor

    Hi Pundits,
    Our client has a requirement to assign different payment terms for different products. Each product he buys from his vendor has it's own payment terms. He wants us to customize in such a way that when he/user enters the invoice, not only the vendor number is shown along with the product name but also the payment terms for that particular product are calculated.
    I know that only one payment term can be assigned in the vendor master data. Is there anyway to get around this?
    Creating the same vendor multiple times and assign payment terms looks a possible option but that looks quite hectic cause he has close to 1000 payment terms.

    Taurian, thank you for that suggestion!
    I can maintain as many existing payment terms as the client has with his vendors and let him choose the payment terms at the time of invoice entry.
    The only problem is that he might have to change it according to the current market rates for that product. So maintaining any payment term is of little use.

  • Multiple "vserver" for different apps in a single VLAN (Bridge Mode)

    Hi,
    I'm deploying Cat6500 with CSM-S & FWSM modules. Doing bridge mode for the CSM (and FWSM will do the inter-VLAN routing upfront).
    There are 3 (three) different applications (Vidiator, BEA & XIAM) placed in the Internet VLAN. Each application consist of multiple servers. Two applications (BEA & XIAM) need to be load-balanced, and the other one (Encoder) in the same VLAN does NOT need to be load-balanced.
    The questions are:
    - Is it possible to create multiple virtual servers (vserver) for different applications (BEA & XIAM) on the same VLAN client/server ?
    - Is it also possible to do Load Balancing only for some Servers (BEA & XIAM) on one VLAN, while other servers (Encoder) on the same VLAN do NOT need load-balance? If, so what is the method? If not, what should be done?
    Below is the script for CSM-S that I'm planning to deploy, please kindly provide your comments and advices.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Gilles,
    Thanks a lot for your respond.
    1. For the multiple vservers.
    Both applications provide HTTP service but think that I could run them on different port number: 80 and 8080. Will this work?
    2. About the non-loadbalancing apps (encoder).
    There are two servers and future adding is possible. They can work independently of each other. Both servers just provide FTP access, for content provider to upload files.
    Since both servers will run the same service (FTP) and port number, I don't think we can create two vservers for them, right?
    You also said that I could have the server in the internet vlan and client accessing it directly. Is this mean that no vserver config needed? So, from FWSM the client traffic will go straight to the servers (without passing the CSM)?
    If this is possible, sound like good option to me.
    Please kindly provide your advice/comments.
    Thanks again.
    Best Regards,

  • Multiple Views of same Universe with DIFFERENT rendering style, possible?

    I am trying to create a CAD-style application that uses several views to display the objects directly from the front, the side and the top using parallel projection and another view that shows the same objects from a freely moveable camera using perspective projection. Everything is working so far, but I would like to display the objects as wire frame in the parallel projection views and fully textured in the perspective view. I have found options to change the rendering of a shape, but that would change it for all views. Is there a way to set different rendering "styles" (i.e. vertex only, wireframe, flat, shaded, textures) for different views of the same universe?

    hi
    i've tried to do that some time ago and i had to give up... unfortunately i think java3D can't use various rendering modes for the same universe

  • Apply different font styles in single text frame

    hi all
    how can i apply different font styles in a single text frame using indesign script ?
    for example :
    "dasdnasndasndlasndnasdlasdasdas"
    may i know is it possible to do that and how to do that ?
    thanks

    You can set (as well as read) every single property of any text range with scripts. This is javascript; it assumes you text cursor is inside a frame with some text.
    * Setting some specific characters to a color:
    app.selection[0].parentStory.characters.itemByRange(5,10).fillColor = "Red";
    * Change the font of words:
    app.selection[0].parentStory.words[3].appliedFont = "Arial\tBold";
    * .. or just the style:
    app.selection[0].parentStory.lines[2].fontStyle = "Italic";
    * .. or any other attribute (this one requires you to have at least 5 characters selected):
    app.selection[0].characters[5].underline = true;
    Of course these operations are not limited to something you select; they work the same with any text frames you can refer to.
    app.activeDocument.textFrames[1].paragraphs[2].appliedCharacterStyle = "charstyle";
