Hi,
Is there possibility to cut object from function diagram?!!! I can't do it.

morganlars,
There is no need to think about transparent bacgrounds: basically, there is no background.
You may View>Show Transparency Grid, then hide it again.

  • How to remove an object from a diagram

    Hello,
    Is there are way to remove (cut) an entity from a diagram (sub-view) in Data Modeler? I can only find a delete function which will delete it from the model altogether. I'd like to just remove the entity from the diagram and leave it in the model (and any other sub-views it may be in).
    Thanks in advance,
    Beatriz.

    In my case, if an entity is shown in more than one views, a dialog box is displayed to ask if I want to completely delete the entity (from all views) or just hide it from current view.
    You probably don't have your entity in multiple views. :-)

  • Cutting object from photoshop and pasting in word

    How do I cut an object from a pic using photoshop and paste just that object on a word doc? Everything i've done so far has given me a square box with white in it? Thanks

    That is expected and inherent how the office apps work. You need to save the files as a PNG or TIFF with transparency and properly import them into Word using the Insert Graphic function.

  • JDev 10g: Problem when generating database objects from UML diagram

    Hi,
    I have noticed following problem.
    I made some business components through UML diagrammer in 9.0.3. From the diagram I generated database objects. It worked fine.
    When I doing the same thing in 10g, the generation fails on several tables with the message that the "identifier is too long".
    Looking at the SQL produced in one of the failing tables. In 9.0.3 following is produced:
    create table sfs_document_def (
    id number constraint document_definition_id_check not null,
    caption varchar2(100) constraint document_definition_caption_ch not null,
    index1 number,
    owner_type number constraint document_definition_owner_type not null
    alter table sfs_document_def add (constraint documentdefinition_primary_key primary key (id));
    And in 10g following is produced:
    create table sfs_document_def (
    id number,
    caption varchar2(100) constraint sfs_document_def_caption_check not null,
    index1 number,
    owner_type number constraint sfs_document_def_owner_type_ch not null
    alter table sfs_document_def add ( constraint documentdefinition_primary_key primary key (id));
    alter table sfs_document_def add ( constraint document_definition_id_check check ("id" is not null));
    alter table sfs_document_def add ( constraint sfs_document_def_caption_check_10 check ("caption" is not null));
    alter table sfs_document_def add ( constraint sfs_document_def_owner_type_ch_10 check ("owner_type" is not null));
    It seems that column that are set not to be null in 10 g first get a constraint creating the table and then when altering the table. Furthermore, notice that the name of the second constraint is longer than 30 chars, which is reason to the error when creating the tables.

    Thanks for reporting the issue. I have managed to reproduce your problem and logged a bug to get the problem fixed.

  • Returning objects from functions

    Hi,
    public HSSFRow someFunction() {
       HSSFRow returnrow;
       Iterator rowiterator = someobject.rowIterator();
          while(rowiterator.hasNext()) {
             returnrow = rowiterator.next();
       return returnrow;
    }My problem is this, I want to pass a HSSFRow object back from a function, but the constructor to this object is protected so i cant initialize an object, this code wont compile because it says that the returnrow object might not have been initialized. How do i get round this problem?

    Hey-
    You could just initialize returnrow to null and check for null whenever you call someFunction(), that should do it.

  • Reference object from function?

    I still can't get a hold of how in flash you're supposed to
    reference objects in the display list.
    I have created a main container. Placed other containers
    inside that will act as layers. Then I've placed items inside those
    layers to animate using TweenLite.
    Everything builds correctly but when I call my startAnimation
    function it has no idea about the movie clips I'm trying to
    animate. I gave them names during the addChild process so why
    doesn't it work?
    root1( main Timeline)
    mainStage ( object mainStage)
    ballLayer ( object ballLayer)
    basketball_mc ( object BasketballMC)
    I added the basketball from the libraray and gave it a .name
    of basketball_mc. During my animation function I'm trying to just
    say:
    Thanks!

    >> root1( main Timeline)
    mainStage ( object mainStage)
    ballLayer ( object ballLayer)
    basketball_mc ( object BasketballMC)
    If I understand, I think you could do:
    TweenMax.to(root1.mainStage.ballLayer.basketball_mc,

  • Delete Database Object or database diagram

    Hello.
    how could I delete a database object? I tried using right click but dont know how to delete the database object. The same problem is qhen I try to delete a database diagram, please could you help me?
    Thanks a lot!

    Emilio,
    If you are talking about Offline Database Objects and want to completely remove them, you can select the appropriate node in the Navigator and then do 'File | Erase from Disk', the same is true for the Database Diagram. If you want to remove a Database Object from the Diagram, then you can invoke the context menu and again choose 'Erase from Disk' to fully erase the object, or you can choose 'Delete' to just remove the object from the Diagram bur remains in the Navigator.
    Hope that helps,

  • Problem in getting the function template object from the repository.

    Hi all,
    I have created a par file. I have a JCO connection in that. I am facing problems in getting the function template object from the repository. This thing is running successfully when i try to deploy it in Tomcat. But i am facing problems when i try to deploy it in SAP EP 6.0.
    Below is statement which is giving error after being deployed to SAP EP6.
    This is executing fine when executed in Tomcat Server.
    // getting the object of function template

    Note : YADDNEWUSER is the name of the RFC which I am calling from my JAVA Code.

    This sounds like a bug in the smart upload code. I have used this stuff before, but it's probably an older version, so maybe they broke something. Enumerations aren't usually guaranteed to keep things in any particular order. I would say for now, make a method to take the enumeration and a param name to find the value. And write to the JSPSmart people.

  • Placing objects in Smart Cut Pro from Illustrator

    I know in CorelDraw, you can create a contour of the object, break it apart and place it into the cutting program and be able to cut out both shapes. I was wondering if it is possible to do something like that with an outlined object created in Illustrator. Also, can you just copy and paste an object into Smart Cut Pro from Illustrator?

    FCP has limited tools for this, because, after all, it is a NON-LINEAR EDITOR, not a compositing or visual effects program. And what you are trying to do falls squarely in that catagory.
    Shake, After effects...these are what you need to look for. And ROTOSCOPING...

  • Making arc shape cut-out from multiple objects

    As seen in the attached image, I want the red arc shape to cut out from the green logo it is sitting on top of, while also having the red arc dissappear and reveal the transparent bg. I have tried a bunch of different ways that I have read from these forums but none of them seem to work. Obviously I'm missing something. The green shield logo is made of multiple objects. The closest I got was the arc shape cut out from some of the objects of the green logo, but not all of them, and the arc shape didn't cut out as an arc, but rather as the original rectangle. The arc is created with a regular rectangle with arc effect.

    That worked. So please explain to me what the "Expand" does? I only selected the two objects that make up the shield, which one is a green outline with white fill, and the other no outline with green fill. I was only allowed to do Object > Expand, not expand appearance. What is the difference between expand and expand appearance and what does expand do?
    The below picture shows the result I wanted. Thank you.

  • [iPhone] Calling Objective-C function from a standard-C function

    How can I call an Objective-C function from a standard-C function?
    I can call standard-C functions from an Objective-C functions but I can't do the inverse, how can I solve the problem of the *error: 'self' undeclared* ?
    Here below is the example code:
    - (void)animateView: (UIImage *)image fromPosition:(CGPoint) location1 toPosition:(CGPoint) location2
    - (void) touchesEnded:(NSSet*)touches withEvent:(UIEvent*)event
    [self animateView:newImage fromPosition:location1 toPosition:location2];
    void dessineItemesAnim(int iteme, int final)
    [self animateView:newImage1 fromPosition:location1 toPosition:location2];
    *error: 'self' undeclared (first use in this function)*
    }

    Either add another parameter that contains a reference to the instance you are trying to call (just like many of the various API functions that use a 'C' language callback offer a 'user data ' parameter that can be used for this purpose) or create a global variable reference to the instance.
    Once you have the instance reference, then you can use it in the same way that you would from within an obj-c function.
    Of course, all of this assumes that you are using the standard GCC compiler that is told that your source is objective-c.

  • Flush()ing shared object from a function

    i seem unable to flush/save to file the 'data' items of a
    shared object from within a function, any ideas please folks?
    i can get the code to work from the 'main body' of the script
    BUT if i try the same/similar thing from within a function it
    doesn't want to play! could it be due to some consideration
    regarding scope of variable (which i kinda understand - and kinda
    don't?!?)

    o-k-a-y kglad
    you da man, my man, we have a right result mon ami.
    it worked first time, thank you.
    i suspect i wouldn't have found that 'configuration' in a
    long time - it's easy when you know how, but getting there can be
    hard work.
    many thanks for your time and contribution, i appreciate
    both.

  • Moving Objects from Layer to Layer

    Yes I knwo this is probably a very naive question but I'm
    learning Flash 8 here and it says nothing in the documentation
    about moving an object from one to layer to another. I'm sure in
    Flash 5 you selected the object and then simply clicked the layer
    which you wanted it on. This seems to have changed and Adobe/MM
    have forgotten to say how you do it now.

    When you say "move" an object from layer to layer - you
    simply want to cut the object on the stage
    in one layer and paste it in place on another? You will have
    to manually cut and paste it. Flash 5
    or any previous version never had an "auto-move" feature,
    esprcially the way you describe: "...you
    selected the object and then simply clicked the layer which
    you wanted it on..."
    That type of functionality would be disasterous - if any
    object on stage was selected and then you
    clicked on a layer would force that object to move to that
    layer, would cause major headaches and
    render the program unusable - because 99% of the time, anyone
    who was not wanting to move the object
    would have a very hard time keeping them on the intended
    layer while tying to use other features in
    flash (like renaming layers, or moving the stacking order of
    layers, or creating layer folders or
    motion paths or mask layers, etc...
    Are you really asking about "merging" 2 layers together?

    Hi,
    Which SAP product of wich release of which SP are you using ?
    The procedure is documented in help.sap.com and in blogs and SDN forum messages.
    It means that the use of the SEARCH button should give plenty of answers...
