DACTree in OnlineOrders Tutorial Sample

I get the following error when I try to run the DACtree example:
System Error: oracle.dacf.dataset.DataSourceOperationException: SessionInfo: Application module creation failed; className: OnlineOrdersModule
The test of the applicationmodule works fine.
Does anybody know what's wrong.
I've build the tabels and there where no errors and my connection is working as well.

I've added the two paths (Sample/... and AQJMS) the two libraries but he still doesn't find the order:
oracle.dacf.dataset.DataSourceOperationException:
SessionInfo: Application module creation failed;
className: OnlineOrdersModule
void oracle.dacf.dataset.ProducerObject.open(boolean)
void oracle.dacf.dataset.SessionInfo.publishSession()
void DACTree.Frame1.<init>()
void DACTree.Application1.<init>()
void DACTree.Application1.main(java.lang.String[])
I searched in the folder of OrderEntry/classes and I don't see/find any applicationmodule.class file.
I first tested the applicationmodule but I don't find any class-file.
What I did encounter is that the java-file is called OnlineOrdersImpl.java and the class-file of this file exists.
I changed the module-name in the java-source file but that didn't help either.
Thanx for your reply, Nathalie

Unless you created your DACTree project in the same directory that contains the OnlineOrders project, your new DACTree SessionInfo won't be able to locate the app module class. To remedy this, you can modify your DACTree project properties by creating a Library for the needed classes. After that you will also need to add another Library for AQJMS to your project properties definition. Here is the procedure to perform these tasks:
1. Right-click your DACTree project and select Properties.
2. Choose the Libraries tab and click the Libraries button.
3. In the dialog click New to add the Online Orders classes. In the Name field type "OnlineOrders" and in the Class Path field type (or browse to this directory): "D:\<JDevHome>\samples\BC4J\OrderEntry\classes"
4. Click Ok to close the dialog and return to the Libraries tab.
5. This time, click the Add button.
6. In the chooser dialog, the first library should be AQJMS. Leave this selected and click OK to add the library to your project and return to the Libraries tab.
7. Confirm that both you new libraries appear in the list. Click OK to exit.
8. Save your project and run again.
Now your SessionInfo will be able to locate the classes.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

    Any Tutorial / Sample to create Single PDF from multiple source files using PDF assembler in a watched folder process. I have a client application which will prepare number of source files and some meta data information (in .XML) which will be used in header/footer. Is it possible to put a run time generated DDX file in the watch folder and use it in Process. If possible how can I pass the file names in the DDX. Any sample Process will be very helpful.

    If possible, make use of Assembler API in your client application instead of doing this using watched folder. Here are the Assembler samples :  LiveCycle ES2.5 * Programming with LiveCycle ES2.5
    Watched folder can accept zip files (sample : Configuring a watched folder to handle multiple input files and write results to a single folder | Adobe LiveCycle Blog ). You can also use execute script to create the DDX at runtime : LiveCycle ES2 * Application Development Using LiveCycle Workbench ES2

  • Tutorial Sample not running

    Hi,
    I am very new to both Illustrator SDK and Adobe Illustrator software as well. My objective is to develop an illustrator plug-in for processing some eps file (for some other application). I downloaded the Illustrator SDK and tried to build the samples using Visual Studio Express Edition 2012. I got stuck as the samples seem to have used the MFC header file <afxres.h>, which is not included in VS 2012 Express Edition. Another forum member kindly pointed out that the samples do not use any MFC and advised me to replace afxres.h by windows.h. After this change I could build all the samples successfully. However, when I am running the Illustrator, I could not properly execute the main Tutorial (and several other) plug-in. For Tutorial, I see a menu option "Object->Filters->SDK->Tutorial..." coming and it gets enabled if I open a file in Illustrator. However, when I click this option nothing seems to happen (As per Adobe Start-up Guide, I should see a modal dialog box coming up), Same thing is happening in several other sample plug-ins like SnippetRunner, TransformButton, Webter etc., all of which are supposed to open a panel, but does not seem to be doing anything. However, some other plug-ins like Annotator, Multi-Arrow Tool, MenuPlay etc., which does not open a panel or dialog box but are related to user interface, are functioning properly. What can be the reason of this strange behavior? Is there any Illustrator option, which is preventing these panels from being created? Or is it somehow related to the afxres.h issue? I really think it is the first and being absolutely novice to Illustrator, I am missing out some obvious setting or something. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I really need to see the Tutorial sample as it has some functionality I want to use.
    Thanks in advance,
    Joydeep Ray

    Hi Leo,
    Many thanks for your answer. I also tried to debug the tutorial application today and noted the presence of these ...UI folder with the css, JavaScript files in them. I was wondering how to include them in the final output. Your reply has been very helpful. However, I don't see any .zxp file in my Adobe Illustrator SDK or even Adobe Illustrator installation. There is a .mxi file in each UI folder (e.g. TutorialUI.mxi). May be this is the installer. I will check with Adobe Extension Manager, which also I don't seem to have. Anyway, after going through the source code of the Tutorial code, I have understood some of the things previously unclear to me. So, I will leave installing these extensions and concentrate on my main task of opening and processing .eps files from a FileFormat plug-in, as you suggested.
    Best

               System.out.println(amount);
               amount = currencyConverter.yenToEuro(param);
               System.out.println(amount);
               System.exit(0);

  • Missing Oracle Reports tutorial sample files

    The Oracle reports tutorial version 10.1.2, which I just downloaded along with Oracle reports, specifies where the sample files can be found in the prerequisites section. It says,
    You can download these files from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Oracle Reports 10g page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/reports/index.html): click Getting Started with Oracle Reports. Navigate to the index, then click Examples. On the Examples page, you will see a link to Oracle Reports Tutorial.
    There is no "Getting Started with Oracle Reports" on that web page. I've looked around for the sample files for this turorial and I can't find them. Does anyone know where they are located?

    I found the sample code for the Oracle Reports tutorial. It's at:

  • Why cant  ibuild tutorial samples?????

    I am new to J2EE and i have been trying to learn how to build and deploy applications. i downloaded the samples bundle availaible on the sun website and this i what it states :
    To run the asant scripts, you must set common build properties in the file
    <INSTALL>/j2eetutorial14/examples/common/build.properties as follows:
     Set the j2ee.home property to the location of your Application Server
    installation. The build process uses the j2ee.home property to include the
    libraries in <J2EE_HOME>/lib/ in the classpath. All examples that run on
    the Application Server include the J2EE library archive
    <J2EE_HOME>/lib/j2ee.jarin the build classpath. Some examples use
    additional libraries in <J2EE_HOME>/lib/ and
    <J2EE_HOME>/lib/endorsed/; the required libraries are enumerated in
    the individual technology chapters. <J2EE_HOME> refers to the directory
    where you have installed the Application Server or the J2EE 1.4 SDK.
    but i dont quite understand all of this. i opened the build.xml file and there is no such thing as a j2ee home. am i supposed to create a new one or is there simply something i am doing wrong?
    please help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Thanks for the reply. The Toggle display does stretch out the clips but doesnt still won't show frames. This is all I can see in the timeline view.
    I'm using quicktime movies. I notice on the help images the movie files are AVI. could that be the issue?

  • Copy Webdynpro Tutorial Sample Code

    Hi Experts,
    There are plenty of tutorials and sample codes available on SDN. Can anybody please specify how to import these applications. It always gives me a classpath error when I try. The steps I use are
    1. Create a new Webdynpro Application.
    2. Import - Filesystem and select the folder that contains the code.
    Please do guide as to where I am going wrong.
    Regards
    Abdullah

    Hi ,
    The classpath errors are because they refer to some jars which are in a different path.
    Right click on the imported webdynpro project - > Properties - > Project Build Path ..
    Remove those jar assignments with errors (warning icon on them) and add those jars from your local system.
