Data Display table along with Graph

As per my knowledge we are not having any option currently for displaying data table along with graph.
This plot data table can have plot name along with current data.
See the sample below. Many times I need to display number of parameters on graph and current value need to see along with graph.
It will very useful if I get something like this in next version.

I'm working on a File to Proxy scenario, where the file names(10 chars length) are unique. These files will be available for XI in a source directory. My requirement is -- file name need to be decoded into 3 values and to be updated into a r/3 database table along with the file data.

You cannot see the field which stores the file name. The file name comes from payload at runtime.
Secondly no need to create any input parametes in your UDF, just edit your udf and delete the input parameter (default input is 'a') so that you don't have to map any constant to this UDF just map this UDF to target field.
e.g. UDF ---> target Field.
I did the same but am not able to activate the mapping.

Retrieve all column data of a table along with the number of records received

hi, i want to select all the records from a table along with the number of records received as i need to use that number in a loop to retrive data from another table
can i use

i tried your idea, i get error in at the over() . I am using sql compact edition and i guess it is not supporting over() function. But i am still going to use the code for example something like this assuming it will work in real time with

Displaying Images along with Drill Drown Results

I'm using MS access 2003 as my data base and CF as the web
language. I cannot find a topic in reference to displaying Images
along with Drill down results. My tables in access have a OLE
object included however I am clueless as how i can display the
images with my drill down results. I just cannot find a link that
talked about this issue already. Does anyone have a link to this
forum topic?

Sorry, no link, but I think you want to be looking at the
<cfimage...>
and|or the <cfcontent...> tags. One or both of these
tags should allow
you to deliver the image from the database to the client.
You are doing this in a bit of an unusual, but not unheard of
way. Most
people just store the image file in a handy directory
accessible to the
web server and then store the name|URL to this image as text
in the
database.
But it is definitly possible to server up binary image data
as well.
Though I have never heard of this in conjunction with MS
Access and 'OLE
objects'. I usually hear this discussed in relation to more
enterprise
database management systems and BLOB [Binary Large OBjects]
data fields.

Export data to excel along with Formulas

I want to design a WD ABAP table ALV or normal) with a forumula for each cell like we do in excel. And upon clicking export to excel it should export the data in the table along with the formulas in it. Is it possible?

NB if you do use the standard ALV you'll have to disable the standard export and build your own. I wonder how long (or perhaps it has already happened - Ivan could probably tell us) it will take for generic export from Web Dynpro ALV code to be available.
I've played with the exports that Ivan has been working on. They are very cool and I highly recommend them!

Copying tables along with their indexes between databases

I use sql server management studio express. I have a database that has some questionable schemas, roles, etc, so I decided to create a new database, with just tables, stored procedures, and user-functions.
So I used the "import data" feature, which allowed me to select several tables, that were copied along with their data.
Then, I scripted out all the user-functions and stored procedures from the original database, and pasted them into a query window for the new database, and executed the create statements for each.
Then I got a message that I was lacking a full-text index.
I then started examining some tables, and even regular tables with an integer primary key that is supposed to be an identity' field were not identity fields any more, and lacked the auto-increment.
I tried to change that, and make them auto-increment, and then sql server told me that I can't do that. I guess if there is already data inside an integer field, you can't make it auto-increment.
So how do I solve all this?

You cant modify a column to be of type identity. For that you need to do the below

But in your case what works best would be to script out the table along with identity and then use it to create the table in the new database.

How to export Tables along with Data and also Tables without data

Hi All,
I have a strange situation here. I have a 2 existing schema's under one database. Now the client wants to have 4 more schema's to incorporate the new branches of his company.
I want to know whether is it possible for me to run an expdp command by which i can have the data from the mentioned tables and only table structure of the remaining along with remaining database objects (procedure,functions,triggers,views,sequences etc).
Since there are some 32 Master tables, whose data i need to capture in db dump in order to run the batch under new schema and the remaining tables will be populated with data from the new branch employees hence the need is for table’s structure only.

you should run two different import comand.
The first import with only metadata, just to recreate the structure.
With the second import you will import data only for the tables you need.
I think this is the simplier solution.

Basically I have a report which needs to be downloaded to excel sheet. For each record there is a particular image in the first column for ex say my colums are img, desc. Now image column contains an image corresponding to each description. If its a file, a folder image is there; if its a document, a page image is there etc. Now i am can display the data of text fields in the following manner ie label =new Label(0,RowCount, wdContext.nodeVn_PortalExcel().getVn_PortalExcelElementAt(i).getVa_Role(), PortalRoleDataFormat);

but how do i display the image in the excel sheet?

Need help using GO URL to display table view (with sorting, pagination)

I'm trying to use the GO URL to get to a table view with the sorting and pagination functionality intact, but I don't want all the other links and input fields of a dashboard.
Is this possible?
I'm trying to consume table view report in an IFRAME within my web application using the GO URL, but without any luck.
For proof of concept, I'm trying to extend Sample Lite\KPI\Sample PKI which I can display as a dashboard in my IFRAME, but I would like the table view with the column sorting and pagination functionality intact without the dashboard links and fields up at the top.
I'm new to Oracle BI, specific explanation and step by step examples would help me tremendously.
I am on Oracle 11g v11.1.7.0 on RH linux.

SQLLoader: Uploading data file name along with data

I am using Oracle SQLLoader to upload my data from CSV files into a single table. My current CTL file is as follows:
LOAD DATA
INFILE 'trace_metals100.csv'
INFILE 'trace_metals101.csv'
APPEND
INTO TABLE TRACE_METALS
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
(STATION_NO, METAL_NAME, METAL_WT)
Just for my record I want to upload the data file name also along with the data into a fourth column. How should I do it using SQLLoader??

Do two loads using two separate control files:
LOAD DATA
INFILE 'trace_metals100.csv'
APPEND
INTO TABLE trace_metals
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
TRAILING NULLCOLS
(station_no,
metal_name,
metal_wt,
fourth_column_name CONSTANT trace_metals100.csv)
LOAD DATA
INFILE 'trace_metals101.csv'
APPEND
INTO TABLE trace_metals
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
TRAILING NULLCOLS
(station_no,
metal_name,
metal_wt,
fourth_column_name CONSTANT trace_metals101.csv)

Display records along with checkbox

im trying to do the following
get the records from database and display in jsp along with a checkbox for each record
ive done the database retrival and displayed in the jsp page as a tables.
but ive tried to create checkboxes for each record rows and at the end ive to send the hidden variable as the checkbox value . how could i do this.

While creating the checkbox u have to write variables in the checkbox's value atrribute.
When ur submiting the form u can also pass these check box variable values.

I am implementing the DATA_CELL method of table interface in webtemplate like this,

I am getting the requirement,but can someone help me how I can access the column based on KF technical name, here i placed the KF in column 9,so I took "when 9".But i dont want to use column number , I want to use technical name of KF.
