Database read error

Hello,
I have created a standalone schedule.
As I am new, I wanted to back-up, I have clicked on send project and send a e-mail to myself as it does not have any save button like traditional apps.
After that, I have noticed that the e-mail I have sent to myself is too small. Anyway, I clicked on send profolio and clicked all, after that something happened and now I cannot open my project.
When I click on Primavera and enter my password with referring to my 50 mb database in Documents, it says "Database read error Please Check C /PRBADDATA.TXT.
After hitting okay, it says Exception EConvertError in module PM.exe at ....bla bla....not a valid floating point value --> Data saved to c:\PRBADDATA.TXT
What should I do? In one post, someone says write these codes to your SQL. But I do not use any SQL app, I use standalone, with SQLite, so I do not need to deal with it.
Thank you for your hels.

You need to grant the windows user to be able to write the PRBADDATA.TXT in the C drive.

    Hi experts,
    Anyone of you knows why I am getting the next error Message when I try to log into Primavera through Citrix?. Also, someone could explain to me what is the function of the PRDADDATA.TXT file?
    +-- Error Message --+

    TCVirtualTable.RefreshAppend: TASK: TCCustomVirtualRow.GetValueList: NullRow has not values -> Data saved to c:\PRBADDATA.TXT
    I really appreciate any insight.

  • Read error on database

    Hi guys,
    When trying to click save, an error msg is displayed "Read Error on database /ISDFPS/FORCE" (Message no. /ISDFPS/FORCE100). This however, only appears if we execute this on WEBGUI, but doesn't happen using the SAP GUI thick client. I'm not familiar with ABAP. Can anyone please advise how i can go about finding the cause of this problem?

    Hello,
    In spite of the message text this is not necessarily a database error. If an error did occur at Oracle level there might be a record of it in the system log (SM21). The error could also be application-related however. Could you check whether note 703721 applies (it's quite old but you never know)? If none of this helps, debugging the transaction code is the logical next step but of course you will need the assistance of someone with ABAP knowledge for that.

    Mark

  • Unrecognized database format error when trying to access addin to Acrobat reader?

    I get an "Unrecognized database format" error when trying to access addin to Acrobat reader so I can use Pro to edit a pdf document?  What do I do so that teh ACCESS program aI am generating PDF's from uses Pro and not Reader?
    Thanks,
    Dan

    Adobe Reader and Acrobat Professional are 2 different products. Reader is for free and limited as to what it can do an support.
    Add-ins can only use features supported by Reader.
    You need Acrobat to edit PDF forms. Acrobat no longer supports access to SQL databases through Acrobat JavaScript.
    If you have an add-in and Acrobat can use it for filling a PDF form from Access, you need to talk to the developer to see if it can work with Reader.

  • Crystal Report throws Unexpected Database Connector error

    Hi,<br>
    <br>
    We are using Crystal report 2008 CR4E API to implement the crystal report in our application. We use the below code to reset the report data source with our application data source. It works fine for most of the simple queries. But if the query contains any function defined in the SELECT Clause it throws Unexpected Database Connector error. As per the log and analysis we believe the root cause of the exception is it consider that function as column in the table and throws the SQL Exception that "function is Invalid Identifier". Could you please help in resolving this issue?

    i'm also getting the same error when i'm trying to call stored procedure (that will fetch the result set and populate the report) through the query in the report-viewer.jsp. The result set is fetched i.e. when i print the result set it shows on tomcat but it is not getting passed to Table object to populate the report. However when i try to give the query explicitly in the form of SELECT statements, it works fine i.e. i can view the report in the browser. But giving query in the form of SELECT is a very naive way and is ok if u have too less reports not requiring too many joins, thats why i was using stored procedure. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Database Connection Error:BAPI Error #0

    I have a problem when I preview a report in Crystal Reports 2008 using BW MDX Query I had recieved the following messages:
    1.Failed to retrieve data from database

    2.Database Connection Error:BAPI Error #0

    Please anybody can help me

    Dear Ingo
    I had read this note
    I applied the following:
    1.I didn't found the lrfc32.dll in the windows/system32 in my BW server so I asked my basis administrator to upgrade the kernel
    2.after this step I didn't find it again so I had copied the file from the new kernel and copied it to system32 and sysWow
    3.I register successfuly the lrfc32.dll using the commanf regsvr c:/windows/system32/lfrc32.dll
    (note: this step didn't succeed until I had installed SAP GUI in BW server because as I observed that there is a need for C++ compiler which is installed by default when you install GUI)
    after all of this I cannot run any crystal report based on any BW query
    So Please anyboday can help

  • How do I fix the Database Organizer Error when using Acrobat 9 Pro on desktop PC with Windows 8.1 and 64-bit OS?

    After loading Acrobat 9 Pro on my desktop PC (Windows 8.1; 64-bit OS), opening and closing a previously saved pdf file, I constantly get a message pop-up that indicates a "database organizer" error.
    How do I fix this?
    I have read multiple responses at various forums and they do not seem to apply, or have not worked for others, with regard to the details of my version of Acrobat and Windows OS.
    I'm beginning to think that the only solution is to purchase the latest version of Acrobat Pro and install it on my PC, which, of course, I would prefer not to do, unless this is my only viable option.
    Can this problem, specific to my version of Acrobat and Windows OS, be fixed or is the simple answer:  purchase the latest version of Acrobat Pro, because there is no fix for my version of Acrobat/Windows OS?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Socket read error: connection reset by peer

    Hi.
    Has anybody experienced the error message Socket read error: connection reset by peer
    Please see below for detailed information.
    Appreciate your help
    Regards
    RT
    Enviroment specification
    Server: HP/UX 11.00 64-bit, Oracle RDBMS 8.1.6.0.0 64-bit
    2 firewalls between client and db.
    Client:
    Win 2000,
    SP3,
    Oracle Client 8.1.7.0.0 ,JDBC OCI (thin JDBC driver,class12.zip)
    JDK 1.3
    JRUN3.0
    The TCP protocol is being used in the communication
    Error messages
    Web Users receive:           Socket read error: connection reset by peer
    Trace files on the sever:      Read unexpected EOF ERROR on 18.
    Explanation: The error in the server sqlnet trace file, suggests that a client connection has terminated abnormally, i.e. client machine powered off, a cable removed or a network connection aborted without warning. No user has complained of such a problem and there is no client trace with an error.
    The problem
    The users of the java web application, experiencing an exception almost once or twice a day.
    The JRUN web-server reports broken connections to the db and client are receiving "connection reset by peer".
    At the moment when the errors occurs the users just have to wait a while(2-10 min) and then they can use the web application again.(no action is taken)
    This problem can not be reproduced. The problem happens only occasionally when the network is under heavy load and new DB connection is being created.
    The application
    The java web-application uses a customized connection pooling against the database. This pool is shared among all the users of the website. whenever a user process needs to fetch data from the database, a free connection from this pool is allocated. The application is testing if the connection is valid before making a transaction (select '1' from dual). When the error occurs a ORA-3113 end-of-file on communication channel is returned to the application.
    The path between the client and db involves at least two firewalls. The firewalls are opened for sql*net traffic. The network group can tell that enquiries from the app.server is not getting feedback from the db. They have not however, identified if the enquiries are reaching the db-srever, or if they are stopped earlier in the network.
    Around 1000 users, are using other applications which uses dedicated sqlnet connections against the db and they have not experienced any problems.
    Issues considered
    Connection pooling
    It is a customized connection pooling, developed by Lindorff developers.
    I have read through the source code for the connection pooling and it does the job as it should, and in case of bad connection, it tries to create a new connection.
    The log file shows that the call to the method DriverManager.getConnection() hangs until the server goes down, which is probably because of the fact that the method DriverManager.setLoginTimeout(), does not take effect and timeout value is Zero. ( According to oracle , Oracle JDBC does not support login timeouts and calling the static DriverManager.setLoginTimeout() method will have no effect).
    Firewall
    One thing to consider is when the firewall may decide to shut down the socket due to long inactivity of a connection. This will cause problems to JDBC Connection Pool because the pool is not aware of this disconnection at the TCP/IP level; until someone checks out the connection from the pool and tries to use it. The user will get a Socket read error: connection reset by peer.
    Jrun timeout paramter is less than the firewalls timeout so the firewall will not close a connection before Jrun does.
    Number of processes the DB can handle
    Processes parameter is 1300, , they have not experienced the Oracle error msg max # of processes reached.
    Port redirection through a firewall:
    Since the firewall has a sql net proxy Port redirection through a firewall is not a problem. Problems with port redirection only appear at connect time, but in this situation the connections fail long after the connection is established.
    The network group
    The network people who investigaged the problem at Lindorff report that there are a significant amount of "dropped packages" between the database server and the jdbc client (web-application) 24 hrs. The reason for this is "unknown established TCP packet" which means that the firewall does not consider these packages to be part of an already established session. The network group believes this happen because one of the hosts send a RESET or FIN signal which the firewall have noticed but are not received by the other host.
    It seems like the firewall are dropping packages bacause of "Unknown
    established TCP packet" from both the JDBC client and the TNSLISTENER on the database server. The dropped packages are SQL*Net v2 traffic so clearly Oracle products are involved

    Presumably something is working.
    Thus the problem is not with your code. At least not the database part that you have control over.
    That error occurs when the other side closes the socket. Presumably you are catching lost connection exceptions and trying to restore it.

  • Database Connection Error Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory

    Hello everyone,
    Background:
    I have a newly installed and configured Ubuntu server running Tomcat5.5 and Mysql 5.0. This server was created in an attempt to migrate from a Red Hat server in a similar configuration, running the exact same webapp. Most of the configuration/classpath differences between the two platforms have been ironed out.
    The Problem:
    When our webapp trys to connect to the database on localhost, an exception 'java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission localhost resolve)' is generated.
    The server.xml configuration is below:
    <Resource name="jdbc/EconDollarsDB"
    auth="Container"
    type="javax.sql.DataSource"
    username="user"
    password="pass"
    driverClassName="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"
    url="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/DBName?autoReconnect=true"
    maxActive="20" maxIdle="5"
    />I can connect to the database just fine using the command line client and the same username/password combo. This configuration has been working fine for at least a year on the older server. The only similar problems I have found on the net (meaning the same exception is generated) involve applets and attempts to connect to different hosts. This case involves a webapp, connecting to localhost, using a configuration that is known to work! I am simply baffled.
    The following stacktrace is generated:
    javax.servlet.ServletException: Database Connection Error

    Hi,
    Its clearly saying the connect permission is missing with the current available policy.
    you add the following permisson entry to the <installed JRE>\lib\security\java.policy file.
    (e.g) C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_08\lib\security\java.policy
    permission java.security.AllPermission;
    grant{
    permission java.security.AllPermission;
    If the application is running standalone then the code is allowed uncontrolled access but for webapplicatons running through browser, the security check is performed for the configured JRE.

  • Database Connection Error

    Hello,
    We have crystal reports published on the BOBJ system and the datasource is SAP BI system . The reports were working fine
    untill last monday when they started giving error " Database Connection Error " .
    This is what happening, when we run the crystal report , it will come up with a pop up for selection and upon giving the selection and click on execute , it is giving error.
    To start we have this issue in BOBJ dev system , but now we have the same issue in QA and Prod as well. I suspected
    this has to do with license keys, but my BOBJ Admin *** basis team thinks otherwise.
    I couldnt think of would have gone wrong or missing . Any ideas will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ravi.

    Ingo,
    I tested the reports using the crystal designer, and they ran fine without issues . The same report when we run on BOBJ/infoview it is giving data base connection error. The same is happening across all the 3 systems( Dev, QA and Prod ).
    I also tested the verify database on the crystal designer and it say " data is up to date".
    As the client level integration seems to be working fine, I'm thinking there is a issue with server level integration.
    Can you through some insight into the checks we can do get to the bottom?
    Thanks,
    Raju.

  • Crystal Reports: Unexpected database connector error

    Hi experts,
    I have a Web Module DC that uses JSP to show Crystal Reports. In my report I use POJO as datasource. The POJO itself is a JPA entity and is located in other EJB Module DC that has dependency with the Web Module DC. At design time everything looks fine and I can retrieve the data I need from other EJB Module with Session Beans but as a result I see the following error: "Unexpected database connector error". The architecture is the following:
    SessionBean EJB Module----
    |
                                                       >>dependency to >> Web Module DC with Crystal Reports
    JPA Entities EJB Module----
    |
    And in my report as datasource I use entity from the JPA EJB Module. And the source in my jsp is the following:
         Object object = null;
         try {
              Context c = new InitialContext();
              object = c
                        .lookup("ejb:/appName=sap.com/slauto_viewer_app, beanName=GeneralBean, interfaceName=com.sap.crs.slautoviewer.beans.GeneralBeanLocal");

              try {
                   //Open report.
                   Method method = getMethod(clazz,
                             "getGeneralDataByHostAndID");

  • Log4J-Error + Unexpected Database-Connector-Error

    Hello!
    I am trying to integrate a Report into an existing Java Eclipse-Project usind Crystal Reports for Eclipse.
    To do this I am modifying the example program which comes together with the installation. I am trying to pass the data to the report directly via a POJO using the call
    CRJavaHelper.passPOJO(...)
    Now, when I try to open the report I get the following error:
    log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (com.businessobjects.reports.sdk.JRCCommunicationAdapter).
    log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
    Unerwarteter Datenbank-Connector-Fehler
    (The last line would be "Unexpected Database-Connector-Error" in english.)
    What am I doing wrong? I included log4j.jar into the build path of the project.
    Thanx for your help!
    UPDATE: Most errors are sitting 50cm in front of the screen. Dumb error on my side. Fixed it and it's working.
    Edited by: QSOTech on May 18, 2009 1:33 PM

    Error is fixed.
    I created the report in Eclipse and used a Plain Old Java Object (POJO) as datasource. No other Database.
    The problem was that the Object wasn't instanciated properly.

  • ReportClientDocument throws - Unexpected database connector error

    Hi,
    We are getting a weird exception in Websphere 6.1 server when we try to open a crystal report using ReportClientDocument object. It is throwing an unexpected database connector error when we try to change the datasource of the report. It would be great if some one can help us with the solution.
    Code:
    ReportClientDocument reportClientDocument = new ReportClientDocument();
    reportClientDocument.open(REPORT_NAME, 0);
    Tables tables = reportClientDocument.getDatabaseController().getDatabase().getTables();
    ITable table = tables.getTable(0);
    reportClientDocument.getDatabaseController().setDataSource(resultSet0, tableName0 , tableName0+"_ResultSet");
    P.S: The same code works fine in Tomcat 6.0 server.

    It appears that you are trying to pass a resultset to the report, only things i can think of is, either the jar file needed for that type of connection is missing, or maybe the app servers are using different versions of java which causes it to act differently.

  • Unexpected database connector error---- Error code:-2147467259

    Hi, I am using Crystal Report for Eclipse 12.2.208).
    My rpt file contains a command with a simple sql query
    In eclipse I used this rpt and generated the Jsp file to export the report to Pdf format
    But exception is thrown in the following line of Jsp
    //Push the Java ResultSet into the report (this will then be the datasource of the report)
    CRJavaHelper.passResultSet(clientDoc, fetchResultSet(driverName, connectStr, userName, password, query), tableAlias, "");
    CRJavaHelper.java
    clientDoc.getDatabaseController().setDataSource(rs, tableAlias,tableAlias);
    While replacing the result set I am getting the following error.... Please help me on this.

    thanks...

    Hell Ted Ueda,
          Thanks for your reply, and did you downloaded my project files ? if not then please download it first.. because i retrieving data from the POJO not from any database.. from database its working fine but in case of POJO its not, because i wanna retrieve data dynamically from directly fields to report, means that user will fill all the information in the text box (Swing) and when he click on the button then the data from the text box should be pushed to report file and also should have to saved in the database.. so please download my project file... and help me...
