I can't find the standard object library stndrd20.olb, can anybody tell me how to find it?

Pl/sql to extract data with form: extract data is a text file

Hi dear all,
to be straightforward here is the problem: we currenlty developing with oracle tools :" Developer Suite 10g version 10.1.2.0.2" an interface .
Using oracle forms, we would like to program a command button that will be in charge of pooling the data from the database and offer the client to save it on his desktop. The extracted data should be a one single flat text file having a one single continuous row. and the data extracted are from a 10 g database( one table having one column(varchar2(240); and 192 rows );

what's your problem with this? You posted a lot of useful information like version infos and code (Hint: when you post code you can do this with the tags so it gets formated), but I cannot see what exactly is failing or behaving unexpected, so you might share that too ;)

Report with Form Passing date to form from report issue

Hi All ,
I got stuck up in the below issue .Can anyone point out the issue behind it and how to get rid of this.
I have created a report page with form page .The report page have 2 column identified as conjugate primary key.the col1 is varchar2 and col2 is date .
The report page have one link on col1 field which is passing the Item_value for both col1 and col2 to form page .
In the DB level the col2 data type is date (for e.g : 26/07/2007 07:08:56) .But the probem is when we are clicking on the link of col1 it is displaying error like Error like ORA-01403: no data found .
But if the data in DB is only in format of DD/MM/YYYY removing the timestmap the link is working fine and returing data for other fields in the form page .
Could anyone pls pointed out the problem and let us know the issue.

Hi Deba,
I suppose your problem is due to the : in the time.
You're passing these values with the url I suppose? Have a look how APEX generates/constructs the url, it uses : to separate things.
I'm not sure why you want a date in a Primary Key?

How to genetare reports (ssrs) with form library's data in sharepoint 2010.I am saving infopath(2010) xml form data in form library.I have 500 and more forms in the form library( more forms can come in future).How to generate reports from this xml data (i
want to make it automate)? Reports should get updated automatically when any changes made to data and if new form entered in the library.
Please suggest possible solutions.I can not go for code base solution.( somthing SSIS, BCS or web service ....etc or anything else will be fine)

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to generate SSRS report with form library in SharePoint 2010.
In order to use the data stored on the InfoPath form, you need to add the controls on the form to be columns in SharePoint(This is the OOTB way without code).
You can add the control during the publish process:
Then when you create the SSRS report using the form library as the data source, you can use the fields just as the fields created in SharePoint.
There is a tool called InfoPath DB in codeplex, you can have a look at it.

How to run report with selected data in form?

Hi,
Imagine I have a form with a Data block with this inside :
Code | Name
1 | Product1
2 | Product2
I want to run a report that will only select these 2 records from the table "product".
I manage to run a report from forms, but it's a pre-defiined report that will always display the same things. (all the table)
Maybe it's with the paramlist, would you have an exemple or tutorial about that?
Edit : When I create the report object in the form, I can give the source Data Block, but how to use in the report Data Model?

One way to achieve this is to use a "temporary" ID-table.
Create a table with just two columns RUN_ID and ID
Then, in forms before starting the report, create a new RUN_ID, e.g. by using a sequence and then, for every record in your block, create a record with the RUN_ID and the record's PK-column-value, in your case this might look like
RUN_ID ID
4711     1
4711     2Commit that data in Forms (e.g. with using an autonomous transaction).
Now, pass the RUN_ID as a parameter to the report, and in reports, restrict your query like
SELECT ..
FROM YOURTABLE
WHERE ID IN (SELECT ID
                FROM ID_TABLE
               WHERE RUN_ID=:PARAM_RUN_ID
             )To be clean, delete the data with the run_id in the AFTER-REPORT-trigger of the report.

How to retain form data with cfpdf flatten option

I created an intertactive form from an existing pdf using
Acrobat 8.0/Live Cycle designer. Now I am trying to use it in my
application where I use cfpdfform tag to first populate the pdf,
and then create a flattened copy of the form using cfpdf
action="wrtite" flatten="yes" command. But when I flatten the form,
the form data is lost. This does not happen with other government
forms like Form I-9 or W-4 that could be downloaded as interactive
forms from their respective sites.
I came across this article through a Google search

If you scroll down about half the page you will see this:
"You can use the cfpdf tag to assemble interactive PDF form
files into a single PDF document and flatten forms created in

Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES."
This is confusing - why can't the forms created in LiveCycle
be flattened? What other tools we have to create interactive forms
that can be flattened with form data?
Please assist me with your pointers and responses. Would
appreciate an early reply.

Here's how I did it. LiveCycle form does work in ColdFusion. It even includes an image wich works untill I flatten the form.

My friend just sold me her ipad she got Jan 2013. The software says its up to date with iOS5.1.1, but when i try to download certain app it tells me I need to update to iOS6.0 or later but when i go to the setting there are no updates. so how do I add these apps? The person i bought it from doesnt know what generation becuase it was a present to her.

The way you download older apps for the older, original iPad 1, as I understand it, is if you have iTunes installed on a computer, you purchase / download the new, current app, in the iOS App Store in iTunes on your computer. Then, go back to your iPad and go to the App Store app on your iPad and find the same app there and download it.
When You select app to update/download, a message pop-up window appears asking if you want to download the last compatible version for your device (if one still exists ) tap OK and that should be it.

Can I Create A Data Entry Form with iWeb?

I want members of my club to be able to make data entry selections each week directly to my web site via a data entry form, and have those entries stored for my retrieval and later posting. Can this configuration be set up in iWeb? Thank you in advance for pointing me in the right direction.

Data entry form problem - form in query-only mode

Hi there,
I am trying to create an data entry form to insert recordacross 2 out of 3 tables. The last of the four tables already have details and does not need to have record inserted into.
This is the scenario, my four tables are Factory, Employee, Works_in. Works_in resolves a many to many relationship between Factory and Employee
Now for a person to be employed in a factory, he must be assigned to a factory.
I have a list of factories already in the database. After choosing a factory from the database, I want to insert records to do with his Fname, Lname, Hiredate bla, bla, bla to the Employee table.
I have a single form with Factory as the master, and 2 tabs each for Employee and Works_in.
After linking all my tables with the ability to choose a factory first on the master form from a combo box and after inserting records into the other forms, it says form running in query-only mode.
What do you think?

I think that's too much of the wrong information.
It sounds like you have multiple forms. Are they Modal or Non-Modal?
What code do you use to call the form that's not working?
Does it work initially and then stop working?

How to populate new record on data entry form based on search results?

I'm new to jdeveloper im using version 11.1.2.1.0.
Usually Im using forms 10g.
I created search panel with table and its working but problem is how to transfer/populate all the field value according to that search result to New data Entry Form
by clicking the table record or a button.
Given :
TABLES,EO
1. PatientMasterIndex
2. PatientTransactionMaster <<---- master
3. PatientTransactionDetail <<-- detail relation
Here the scenario,
After Search of any patient, when i clicked one or more patient (which Jdeveloper allow multi select on jtable) on the table record it should automatically transfer or copied to the text field, i want to show on the form of PatientTransactionMaster like PatientNumber,PatientInsuranceNumber etc. to be save on db as new record, also non database field for view only like patient Name,address,age.
IN forms i can do that by :PatientTransactionMaster.PatientNumber := :blocksearch.PatientSearchNumber ,etc.....
or an item trigger to populate the said PatientTransactionMaster block. ( select .... into :PatientTransactionMaster.PatientNumber,etc....)
Any suggestion,links,sample is highly appreciated.

Do you want to create a detail record that will include some values from your master record??
Or do you want to create a record with values from your Search criteria, only in the case you do not have any results?
if it is the second case.
When do you want to do that? After a press of button? or immediately?
In general you have to handle the values from search criteria.
Additionally, if you use ViewCriteria, you have to have bind variables for your search criteria that you will want to use.
So in general, you have to know the values by using bind variables, understand that the query has no results (This can be done in many ways, depending on your implementation. if you are using a button, you could make a disable condition with iterator.estimatedRowCount property.)
Perform the insert operation with the values from the bind variables.

ERROR RENDERING PDF IN SERVLET WITH FORM method="post"

we are trying to render a dinamic PDF document in a servlet building with XSL:FO apache or itext.
The problem ocurs when we sending a Form data with method post, the output of the servlet is a blank page instead of the pdf document. Also if we send the form data with method "get" we can view the pdf document corretly.
But we need to send amount information, and can?t use method get.

You can always use GET to send information by generating a dynamic URL in the query string (after the '?'). Granted, you don't want to send file data that way, but it will work for small numbers of arguments where privacy is not a concern.
As to why you see the PDF in one instance and not another, I'm not sure. There is no difference from an HTTP standpoint. You sent a request, you are getting a response. The browser should treat the response the same, regardless of GET vs POST.
Are you setting the content-type to application/pdf? Are you doing something fishy with Javascript? Do you have conditional logic in your code that fires on a POST but not on a GET that actually has a bug in it (since GET works but it was designed for POST)?

With Forms Central can I set up a form to send out an automatic PDF document like a quote? In other words when my customer fills out the form and puts their email address on the form it automatically sends them a PDF quote on a piece of merchandise that I have. If not is Form Central compatible with Web Merge?

At this time FormsCentral does not have the ability to send the PDF in the "Email Reciept", you can set up Email Reciepts to send the form filler a reciept with the form data, but it does not attach a PDF of the form.
FormsCentral is not compatible with Web Merge.
