Datetime pickers

i need to add some time and date pickers to my aplication, it's a jdeveloper 10g adf bc swing application, but i don´t know how to find this pickers, can someone help me?.. i need a tutorial or something like that.

ADF contains a control called < af:selectInputDate > which ought to do the trick. It seems to pop the calendar up in a separate window, though. I'm trying to do a test automation using codedUI. This is a Windows application based on WPF.
I recorded the events and when playback I get a error.
There are two datetime pickers in the same form and when doing a playback one is picking up the date correctly where as the other datetimepicker is throwing the error as below.
Window '' is blocking the control 2015. Please move the window '' or make the control 2015 visible and retry the action. I tried even manually selecting some offset points but still the calendarfield shows empty.

Apex and Ajax - Update a part of a page

Hi guys,
I have six regions on my page. One of the region has a submit button and two datetime pickers with a flash chart. When i choose datetime intervals and press button ,
only this region should be refreshed not the entire page , so i need to use ajax. Do you have any idea?

At first please tell us more about your environment. Which version of APEX do you use and so on.
If you are on APEX 4.0 or 4.1 i would use a dynamic action and trigger a refresh on that chart.

SSRS Datetime Parameter value should display in DD/MM/YYYY format

we have 2 Datetime parameters in my report , where the value is shouwing in MM/DD/YYYY format . i have modified the language type of report to Fr-BE but there is not change . Users want to see the date value in DD/MM/YYYY format . how can we achieve this

I have this same issue on my new laptop (suffering with it for about 9 months actually). I used to work around it by launching Visual Studio as a different user. That doesn't work anymore as I can't get the report preview to display when run
as another user (apparently that's an issue reported in other forum threads).
I lodged something on Connect about this quite a while ago and the op there was also quite unhelpful. Using expressions and so on is NOT an option. It's impossible to preview a report using date pickers now as it seems the control validates using
one format and then the engine seems to immediately validate using the other. I suppose an ambiguous date like 3/2/2013 (Feb or March?) would "work" but is hardly nice. There's a lot more detail in this thread

The new SQL 2012 tools that were released a couple of months ago that us VS2012 as the designer still have the same flaw. I've just tried opening a Microsoft support incident but the issue opening tool seems broken as any selection of a SQL Server
product results in 404s :(
Anyway, the other forum thread may be able to help others or at least help clarify the problem we're experiencing. I'm apply CU4 for SQL 2012 at the moment plus I saw there's a release of the VS2012 "BIDS" tools to get on the CU4 page - maybe it's
a new version? I'm hoping so :)

Can you help me get the time format to match XML dateTime?

XML has a dateTime format which looks like this:
2002-10-10T12:00:00-05:00
and Im using XMLElement() functions in some queries to produce an xml document however it truncates the time portions of the data stored so it's just MM/DD/YYYY.
i would use a to_char function but I'm not sure what date format in Oracle to use to match the timezone portion at the end (-05:00) and how to get it to accept that 'T' in there as a separator as defined in the XML Schema spec:

To put boilerplate (that is, fixed) text , such as the letter 'T', in the output, include it in double-quotes.
TZH is the format specifier for Time Zone Hours, and TZM stands for Time Zone Minutes.

Détecter carte pickering 50-295-121-10/12 sur cible déportée dans MAX

Je suis en train de développer une application de test temps réel dans laquelle je dois piloter une carte Pickering de type "50-295-121-10/12". J'aurais donc plusieurs questions qui sont pour l'heure sans réponse.
Premièrement, je cherche à détecter cette carte dans MAX afin d'avoir son identifiant pour communiquer avec elle. Cette carte est intégrée dans un bus PCI sur un PC cible RT. J'ai pour le moment déployé la dll "pipx40_32.dll" ainsi que les fichiers "inf" sur ma cible RT. Or je ne peux toujours pas la voir. Est-ce du au fait que la carte que j'utilise est une carte PCI et non PXI? Quelle doit être la marche à suivre pour parvenir à la détecter dans MAX? Deuxièmement, je souhaite utiliser le custom device fournit nativement par NI lors de l'installation de Véristand pour piloter cette carte, à savoir :"Custom Device Pickering 40-295". Etant donné que la carte que j'utilise est une 50-295 et non une 40-295, vais-je pouvoir tout de même utiliser ce Custom Device où alors va-t-il falloir que j'en développe un nouveau?

Votre PC de développement est-il différent du PC RT dans lequel est insérée votre carte ?
Si ce n'est pas le cas, avez vous un accès depuis le réseau à ce PC RT ?
Par ailleurs, il pourrait être bon de savoir si le service windows NI Device Loader est bien actif, il permet la bonne communication entre un PC et un équipement, quelque soit le bus d'interface utilisé (USB, PCI, PXI... ).
Assurez vous également d'avoir tous vos drivers à jour.
En ce qui concerne un custum device sous Veristand :
Vous pouvez tester le custom device existant, mais le bon fonctionnement de votre application n'est pas garanti, et il pourrait donc être nécessaire de créer le votre.

Catch datetime exception and custom error message in SSRS

I currently working on create report by using SSRS. I have 2 parameters: [Start date] and [End date] to filter data from database and show it on report. I want to validate 2 datetime parameter as describe above. Please tell me a solution to do this.
For example:
When user type the text like: 4/15/2014mmm => System validation thrown a message: [The From Date not correct type]
But in my case, I want to receive a custom error message by myself.(Look like: [Date Invalid!])

According to your description, you have a report with two parameters for user to input. Now you want to validate these two parameters and display custom error message when the date is invalid. Right?
In Reporting Service, it doesn’t provide any interference for us to modify the system error message (the text in grey color). That means we can’t modify the system message when error occurs. However we can create a textbox in this report, use custom code
and expression to display the custom error message. But this all based on the report is successfully running. So if error occurs during report processing, all the custom code and expression will not work. In this scenario, we find a workaround for you. We
use custom code to judge if the date is valid, if the users type an invalid date, we return a default value to make sure this report can successfully run. Then we use expression to control the visibility of tablix in this report and create a textbox to show
the custom error message. Your case has been tested in our local environment. Here are steps and screenshots for your reference:
Go to Report Properties. Put the code below into custom code:

Use the expression below to set the visibility of the tablix:

Create a textbox, put the expression below into it:

Datetime parameter from stored procedure

I have a report written in CR10 which uses a stored procedure as the datasource. The stored procedure has 3 input parameters, two of which are datetime data types. When the crystal report is run, it prompts the user for the 3 parameters & runs just fine except...For the date parameters, it prompts the user to enter a time as well. In previous versions of Crystal, parameters that were datetime data types in the stored procedure were just prompted for the date when the calling crystal report was run.I attempted to edit the parameters in the report, but the "Value Type" is grayed out (I assume since the parameter is associated with the stored procedure, rather than being a user defined parameter within the report). These date parameters are used in a BETWEEN statement in the stored proc, so if the user just enters a date but accepts the default time, the returned data gets flakey due to the addition of the time value passed by the parameter. I tried setting a default value for the time, but I have to enter a date along with the time, which the report then uses as the default. The user then has to uncheck the "Pick from defaults" checkbox in order to enter their own date. This is really unwieldly for the end user, especially when they were previously able to just enter a date and not have to be concerned with a time at all.Does anyone have suggestions on working around this issue? You mention that you are using CRW version 10 for this. What's the data source you are reporting against (you mention a stored procedure - but are you running against Oracle, SQL Server, DB2?). Are you connecting natively or using ODBC?

Null value for int and datetime date type in xml schema

Hmm..Why do you need to change it in production?
What I suggested was to tweak the setting in dev machine so that it interprets the Excel file datatypes correctly when doing development. Once mapping is set correctly then it will work fine when in production or in any other environment. The tweaking is
just to make sure it interprets the datatype correctly at design time and has nothing to do with production deployment

How to return a single datetime from multiple rows of MAX(value) in DAX

I have a Results table with ResultTime, Balance, Equity which is updated with a new row every 5 minutes. I've used SUMX to find opening and closing balances and it has worked so far.
Res_OpeningBalance:=SUMX(TOPN(1,Results,Results[ResultTime],1),[Balance])
Res_ClosingBalance:=SUMX(TOPN(1,Results,Results[ResultTime],0),[Balance])
But when I tried it with dates, the whole thing fell apart.
Res_MaxBalance_Date:=SUMX(TOPN(1,Results,Results[Balance],0),[ResultTime])
Since the highest Balance is likely to be represented through many rows due to it lasting more than 5 minutes, ResultTime (which is unique to each row) is summed up and returns messed up dates well into the future. How to return only one date (first or last
datetime) from the rows where Balance is at max?
I tried a TOPN of TOPN, but Excel was not amused.
=SUMX(TOPN(1,Results,Results[Balance],0),TOPN(1,Results,Results[ResultTime],0))

I still don't understand RANKX, but I figured it out anyway. I get the correct data by using:

DateTime format

Hello,
We're currently working project that uses SharePoint 2013 platform to do the heavy lifting. One of the requirements we have is that system must comply with various acts which includes date and time formatting.
The problem we're having is that our locale has two ways of formatting date values but only one is allowed in official documents and we can't find a way to force SharePoint to use the one we need. It doesn't seem care what format is set on the server regional
settings nor it allows to specify format on the site settings. But it does seem to be related to regional settings somehow since using different versions of Windows Server has different results:
Windows Server 2012 - uses yyyy-MM-dd which is what we need.
Windows Server 2008 - uses yyyy.MM.dd which is what we have.
Neither creating derived datetime field, nor creating calculated fields is an option for us. Using 2012 server is also of the table.
Any ideas as to how could we make this work?

Not able to convert element of type xs:date to dateTime in XSLT 2.0

I am trying to subtract 2 dates and get the month difference between the two using XSLT 2.0
This is what I have done

I tried formatting the date in required format but still the transformation fails
Can someone please help in solving this issue..

How to calculate the time duration on a datetime column?

I've done some search on this forum and everywhere else but I can't seem to get this right, at the beggining it sounded like something very simple to accomplish, for the instance with Excel but I'm struggling to get it to work with Crystal Reports on Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.
I have a datetime column (SQL Server 2000) that I wanted to calculate the the time duration on the report group footer, unfortunatelly the built-in SUM function cannot be applied and I've tried several formulas that I've found on the internet without any luck. I'm using a datetime column to store only the time because I'm stuck with SQL Server 2000 which doesn't have a time data type.
Would you guys know how to do it by any chance?

Guess what, by further testing the code on the website mentioned above I got it working.
Pus, I needed to change the grouping on the code, so I had to come up with a way to update the formulas based on the groupping field.
Considering "call_date" is the field that you are groupping by on the designer use the following code to update the formula:

Crystal Report that reads from an XML file Datetime or Date

I have a Crystal Report 2008 that reads from an XML file, the source File XML Date data looks like this: 2008-03-10
But the Crystal Report interpreted by datatime, I need the Crystal Report to look like this: 2008/03/10 (date) not 2008-03-10T00:00:00-05:00 (datatime)

You could always reformat the field to only display the date portion:
Format Field > Date and Time tab; choose the date style you need here.
Or create a formula to extract just the date and use this field in your report:
date({table.field})

SharePoint 2013 - What are all requirement components for People Pickers to list, search, display, and assign users permission

Hi All
the past few months, I have been working with permission issues related to SharePoint 2013 site permission settings using People Pickers to list, search, display users to assign or check permission.
Our environment include multiple domains and few forests. Our SharePoint farm is installed on one domain but the good thing is our AD structure are configured to have all other domains and forests with 2 ways trusts with this domain so domain
users are authenticated and can access SharePoint just fine. Also SharePoint use default claim authentication.
The problem is People Picker is not display all domains user accounts when site owners need to assign permission. So to resolve the problem, I had provisioned
SA - User profile service and Import AD domain user accounts (one way) into Sharepoint.
I configured stsadm.exe -o setproperty -pn peoplepicker-searchadforests -pv
for all domains and forests (eventhough, as mentioned we do have 2 ways trust)
and sometime tried different query (user last name, domain\logonname, email address) if one is not showing.
With all that added, People Pickers seem to find and display user account for all domains now.
My question now is do UPS and all AD domains users need to be imported into SharePoint and STSadm configuration are required in order to have all domains user accounts to display in People Pickers so the site owners can
find them and assign permission when needed?
Please share your advices, comments as they are really valuable to me.

UPS and people pickers are virtually unrelated. The only connection between them is to do with caching and updating user names and emails if they change over time, or in other words not relevant to your situation.
To answer your question directly; Nope, you do not need to set up synchronisation connections to a domain to be able to pick up a person in a people picker. As you've seen you may need to run some STSADM commands to make sure they are checking the right
places.
