I installed it. The phone is de-activated cuz the call quality was bad. If I find some postive reports about improved call quality, I may activate the phone again - BUT - I'm pretty happy with the call quality of my RAZR2, may just stick with it until it dies.
ETA - I am not suggesting anybody else do it - just stating I did, on an unactivated phone.

well i will say this, my girlfriend has the droid 2 which comes with froyo 2.2 and this morning she got an update on her phone that said 2.2 update. i guess there were some bug fixes in this new update because her phone did lock up sometimes and after this update it is faster and so far it has not locked up on her yet, of course its only been a day. maybe they are just rolling out the bug fixes for the current froyo users first and then plan to get to us after that? i too have the incredible and have not recieved my update either and it is now Aug 28th 1:40 EST

we run Exchange 2013 + Outlook 2010
as i was investigating an Outlook Sync Error, for a secondary mailbox, i figured out that the Mailbox has more than 500 Folders and that i can see the Evnet ID 9646 (Mapi session exceeded the maximum of 500 objects) on the Exchange Server.
Now i found a fix for Exchange 2010 but not for Ex2013, is the old fix for EX2010 still valid?:
Navigate to HKLM > System > CurrentControlSet > Services > MSExchangeIS > ParametersSystem. Create a new key in ParametersSystem named
MaxObjsPerMapiSession. In MaxObjsPerMapiSession, create a DWORD named
objtFolder with a decimal value of 600. Create a second DWORD named
objtFolderView
anyone an idea on this?

I requested to unlock my iPhone 6. I was told to wait 'up to 7 days' to receive unlock instructions. It's now been a lot more than that and I haven't heard anything. I need the functions of an unlocked phone as I am in another country for 2 months. Help, Tutkun

Do you have a signal at all ? If you do not then you will not get them they are sent by text.
Just put a SIM card from a carrier that supports the iPhone in the device. ( sells it )
Then go to Settings>General>Software Update.
If the unlock has been done and you have been billed then you will get a carrier update on your device. Install that update.

Passed 17 days but still waiting for app release

Creative already made the Sleek's firmware for the US devices. It wasn't ready for the UK release but since Creative had it ready for the US devices they just used those for the UK ones.

2 days and still waiting for some of my posts to be approved.

Day five, and still waiting

It is now day five, and I am still waiting for my PDF's!

It would be nice if they just let us know what was going on...how hard would that be to put up a banner???? I didn't realize it was going on for so long...it's only been 3 days for me.
This is pathetic and horrid customer service. I will not be renewing my subscription after having them refuse to answer my questions unless I paid more money. It's not my system that is the problem it is ADOBE's, they should let us know what is going on and when it will be fixed. A tentative timeframe at least!

Quickbooks does not support Parallels anymore. I hear Apple Bootcamp is an opton. Are there any recommendations for running Quickbooks Pro 2010 on Mac?

QuickBooks Pro 2010 for Mac is not supported in Lion. QB Pro 2011 will work, but I just got an email today that 2011 will not be updated to work in Mountain Lion. QB Pro 2012 will be updated for ML.
Be aware that the Mac version of QuickBooks is shamefully lacking in features compared to the Windows version. I do use the Mac version, but it has more features than I need for a small business, so it doesn't affect me. No one knows why Intuit seems to hate Mac users, but they show it every day.
If QB Pro 2012 for Mac can be downloaded as a demo, I would strongly suggest testing with it before making a final decision. You will be able to import the Windows data, but possibly not all of it, depending on the Windows version features you use.
Boot Camp allows you to install Windows on its own, bootable partition. When you boot to it, you are of course running Windows in every sense of the word. Just on Mac hardware rather than typical PC gear. Your Windows version of QB will work there without issue. The problem is having to boot back and forth between Windows and OS X, depending on what software it is you need to use at the time.

I have one scenario whereby an employee has resigned in the month of March 2010. He requested for his EA Form Year 2010 to be printed out at the same period in the month of March 2010. Seek your advice on the following question as below:
1) I believe that the system can cater to generate the EA Form Year 2010 in the same period. However, Is there any implication in the system since the EA form generated in Year 2010? This process is suppose to be run in Year 2011.
2) In the EA form preparation, RPCTSQL0 (Tcode: PC00_M14_CTSQ) seq.no generation. What is the impact if user process twice in year 2010 and 2011.

Once I came ascross similar requirement, but not for 1 year. It was quota generation as a result of work on public holiday that had to be valid for 3 month. Obviously different employees had different validity start and end date.
I did a custom function to address this requirements, but at the end of the day it complicated whole set up. So got rid of the idea of custom function.
The solution was to create separate quota for every month. In your case it would be as following:
1. Create 12 quotas with validity of one year.
2. When employee has overtime on public holiday generate Q1.
3. In the end of the month transfer quota Q1 to Q2, or Q2 to Q3, ... , Q11 to Q12.
4. When quota is Q12 then compensate it or delete it - depends on your requirements.

One of my apps is "waiting" for an update. Its been "waiting" for 4 days. It wont delete (so I can re load it). Sadly its not in i tunes as I put it on after the last sync and it wont for some reason sync either. Any ideas?

One of my apps (actually on my daughters i phone 5) has been "waiting for 4 days to update. Rebooting doesnt cure it nor does trying to delete it - it wont delete. I have looked at her i tunes account but she hasnt sync that for ages and the actual app isnt in i tunes but just on the phone. For some reason the syncing isnt working either in realtion to this app. There is adeqaute memory - good strong wifi signal. Any ideas??

Download the app on iTunes under her account (you've already paid - you won't have to again), then sync the app across to the phone that way and it should clear it up.
It's possible the app is too large to do over the air and it started on wifi but wasn't able to continue and got corrupted.

Oh boy! Acting kind of weird seems to be an understatement, aquaequus!
What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

Project Server 2010 Jobs All 'Waiting To Be Processed'

Hello,
We have installed Project Server 2010 for evaluation and are running into an issue when creating new projects in the Project Center. The installation included SharePoint 2010 and is a single-machine install (i.e. DB and WFE on same machine).
We can access the site without any problem and when accessing the Project Center and electing to create a new project from Basic Project Plan template, the interface processes the request and then informs us that the request was taking a long time to process
and to check the Manage Queue Jobs interface for status.
Reviewing the queued jobs reveals four queued tasks for Project Create, Project Publish Notifications, Project Publish and Start Workflow, all with a Job State of 'Waiting To Be Processed'. When we originally ran into this issue, we realized that the
User Profile Synchronization Service was configured to run with the Network Service account and that the two relevant ForeFront Identity Manager services were not running. We had read that this may cause the queue to not process requests, so we reconfigured
the system to use a domain account and started the User Profile Synchronization Service Application (which in turn started the ForeFront Identify Manager services).
However, this did not help and the jobs (as well as new jobs) are still waiting to be processed. We don't see any errors listed in the queue and can't really find relevant errors in the SharePoint logs or event viewer.
Has anyone else run into this problem who can provide some insight? Thanks.

Another thing to check John, and you may well find evidence in the ULS logs, is that the queue service is really running. Just looking in Services isn't enough. When the queue service starts it will check for the presence of PWA sites within
each and every (probably just one) Project Service Application you have running. It will then spawn an extra process for each Service Application it finds that has one or more PWA instances. So you should always see at least two Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.Queuing.exe
processes running within Task Manager -and if you just see one the looking in the ULS logs should give an indication why it didn't start up (re-starting will give you a fresh entry in the log - which will be easier than searching through lots of logs.

Period 001/2010 is not open for account type S and G/L 799999

I am in SD. I am trying to create stock for newly created material, movement type 561. system give error Period 001/2010 is not open for account type S and G/L 799999.
I use the T. Code OB52, i am confuse which combination i.e. variant, A, from Account, To Account, from per. 1 Year, To period, Year, from per. 2 year, To Period, Year, I should choose, can some one send me detail reply and solution which may display after this t. code OB52. I also have questin which movement type i should use.
Using T.Code MMPV, i have created new period (from company code 1000, To Company code 1000, period 01, Fiscal Year 1020.
I was reading previous solution, one of them was i should close period 2009. I tried to do this using using MMPV, i entered fiscal year 2009. Error display The specified year 2009 is not the current calender year.

First see for your company code what is the posting period varient maintained in OBY6
Say if it is 1000
Then in OB52
Maintain a setting like this
1000-S-BLANK-ZZZZZZZZZZ-1--2010122010-13--201016--2010
Then save it
This is for Account type S that is GL accounts
Preferably maintain the same for A, + , D, K, M, V
