Debian java error in netca and dbca but succesful install in a vm ?!?!

I succesfully installed Oracle 11gR2 32bit on Debian 5.02 32bit in a virtual machine and created a database and a listener, everything works as expected. Now i tried the same installation on a hosted "real" machine with, as far i can see, the same minimalistic Debian 5.02 32bit installation as my virtual machine. The installation went fine on the "real" machine but if i try to start netca or dbca there is a java error:

Has anyone any idea? I spent many hours in different forums, but i found no answer yet. What coulkd be the difference between these machines? What this error means?
I know, Debian ist not officially supported, but in my experience, if some prerequisites are made, Oracle normally works fine with Debian ....

1. Please find out if there is any business reason that the 64-bit hardware is only running a
32-bit OS. If not, then Oracle recommends that you re-install a 64-bit OS and 64-bit Oracle to
avoid published Bug 8930861, “X86 DBCA, NETCA GIVE JAVA HOTSPOT ERROR IF ON X86_64 HARDWARE”
2. If there is some business reason that you must use 64-bit hardware running a

Since installing Mac OS 10.10.1 photoshop will not run, it will not launch. A window indicates that it needs JAVA SE6 to run. JAVA SE6 is installed. I have re-installed and restarted but photoshop will not run and I get the same message window that I need to install JAVA SE6. How do I make this work?

Have you added any Photoshop Add-on that uses an external JavaScript. Photoshop itself has is own ScriptingSupport Plug-in and does not use an external java. Also Java SE6 is old and has security issues you should update to version SE8

I get the above error, quotes and all, on my daughters computer recently. She is running Windows 7. The only change is that my husband recently did some network maintenence on her computer so that she could back up some of her media to the storage drive.
She was previously able to print from this printer (it's set up as a network printer, wireless for users) and had no issues. Now, she has this weird install loop. I was able to reinstall the printer despite the loop so that she could print again (it overwrote it with wrong data) but it still keeps trying to install and when the administrator permissions come up asking if we want to allow it, and we say no, then it cycles off and starts right back up again.
I have already followed the directions online for the re-regestering, and i have run a new virus scan.
What next?

I have just installed Oracle 9i on a new server, since we are moving our database server from one machine to the other, and after going through the installation without any problems DBCA was going to run but I have got the following error message:

Thank you for your reply, I have tried this method but it did not work, the problem remains the same.
Please notice that with the reference you've quoted the error is java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/sysman/emSDK/common/nls/MessageBundle while mine reports the error java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/help/Help.
So, if you have any other ideas I would appreciate it.

SAP Installation java error package j2sdk-1_4_2_16-fcs is already installed

I need one help.
I am trying to install SAP ECC 6.0 in REDHAT Linux 5.0 and Database Oracle 10.2.
I have downloaded the below two java files
j2sdk-1_4_2_16-linux-i586.bin
j2sdk-1_4_2_16-linux-i586-rpm.bin
I uncared the file j2sdk-1_4_2_16-linux-i586.bin. Then I searched and come to know we have to install the .rpm file, so I deleted the /java folder (perhaps a mistake, I didn't use the uninstall command).
Then I uncared the file j2sdk-1_4_2_16-linux-i586-rpm.bin and tried to run the below rpm command to install the java package. Now I am getting the below response
rpm -iv j2sdk-1_4_2_16-linux-i586.rpm
Preparing packages for installation...
package j2sdk-1_4_2_16-fcs is already installed
Please help me how correct this error.
I searched and found the below command to replace the already installed java file, with the new file.
rpm -iv --replacepkgs j2sdk-1_4_2_16-linux-i586.rpm
but it does not worked facing the below error
--replace:unknownoption.

I got an "Apple mobile Device' failed to start error during installation and itunes won't install.

For some reason I got an error message trying to update itunes on my Vista PC and for some reason could not run itunes. I uninstalled itunes completely and tried to download a new installation. Near the end of the installation I got this error message. "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." I was given the choices of 'cancel', 'retry', and 'abort'. I tried 'retry' and got the same error again. I tried 'abort' and the installation eventually ended in another error and suggested that I reinstall itunes. I was in the administrator's account when I attempted all these things.Has anyone had a similar problem or knows how to get the installation completed?? Thanks for any help.

In BW WAD is opening with some user IDs successfully.But for some user IDs it is giving jav error.
BW and portal integration is correct and SSO also configured properly.The problem is duplicate usermapping.How to find out ABAP ID is mapped to usermapping to java user vice versa.

Well I solved my problem.
What still doesn't make sense though is that dragging iTune audio files directly on to the iTunes application icon gave me the error message... which is why I originally discounted it as being a potential link problem. If I had been able to get files to open normally (i.e. without an error message) I would have known it was a simple link problem. Strange.
Anyway... relinking my folder of audio files did the trick.
If you don't already know how here are the steps...
iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > click on the "Change" button and browse to the folder that contains all of your iTunes audio files... that's it.

Error 500 and Java Error after BOBJ 4.0 installation

I have installed BOBJ 4.0 and I have also installed SP 1 and SP 2 with FP up to 10.
Now when I tried to launch CMC or BI Launch Pad I get following error. Following error started appearing after unsuccessful single sign on and SP updates.

first time I contact Apple Support Communities
I have re-installed Snow Leopard on a MacBook Pro(permissions = ok) and each Software update proposed by Apple.
After each software update installation, I have checked the permissions being ok.
But after install update 14 Java for Mac OS X 10.6.8 (proposed by Apple), I found 27 permissions errors. Disk Utility as well as Onyx cannot repair. (in fact they repair and if you check again you still have those 27 permissions errors)
It concern mainly System/library/Java/Java Virtual Machine + System/Library/Framewoks/JavaVM.Framework and System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.Bundle
Do you have an idea how to get rid of those 27 permissions errors.

As long as the report ends up with 'Permissions repair complete' then, as far as permissions go, you are fine. You can ignore the various statements in the report:

HT4117 for some reason my mac turns itself off after a while when it wants, i dont know the exact problem causing of this....but i have smc errors in consol and ive tried to reinstall my smc and it wont let me so what do i do now

i know my hardware is fine
