Default server startup error messages
my system: Win 2000 professional
when i tried to start the WL default server from the Start->Programs...
windows menu, a dos screen poped up, and then I can access the web console
so i know the default server WAS started. the problem is the dos screen just
hanged after such line is displayed: "<NT Performance Pack> NATIVE: created
IoCompletionPort successfully. IoPort=0x00000408". Is this phenomena
correct? I suppose not.
then i tried to start the WL default server by executing startWebLogic.cmd
directly from the directory. I can also access the web console so the server
WAS also started. but I got 2 extra error lines in the Command Prompt
window:

I don't think the server is hanging, I think it's running. It is waiting
for work to do (servlets to be invoked, ejb's to be called). Once it is up
and running, you should only see output when errors are encountered.

then what about the error message "<HTTP> <[WebAppServletContext

The log output is correct - you should see the following messages similarto the
following immediately prior to the IoPort message:
<Wed Oct 18 13:13:29 CDT 2000> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <WebLogic Server
started>
<Wed Oct 18 13:13:29 CDT 2000> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <Listening onport
7001>
<Wed Oct 18 13:13:29 CDT 2000> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <Listening onport
7002>
This indicates that your server started successfully.

Can somebody help me with this ? Which key I need to put into the properties file ?

Can anyone help on this ?

it seems that you try to deploy your application but it's taking a very long time that exceeds the timeout.
Are you deploying your application from Eclipse (oepe) or from the admin console ?

ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at line 4
I have a few questions about the above message:
1. How can I see which database startup trigger is having this error? Is there a way to determine that?
2. Is there a way I can disable all triggers that fire on database startup? (just like we can disable triggers on a table)
3. Any idea what ORA-36961: Oracle OLAP is not available. means?
Thankshey..thanks for the reply, I have checked to see if any triggers are enabled on startup from the USER_TRIGGERS
SQL> select TRIGGER_NAME from DBA_TRIGGERS where TRIGGERING_EVENT='STARTUP';
no rows selected
SQL>
But when I start my database, I again see this error message:
Error in executing triggers on database startup
*** 2005-12-12 05:32:40.778
ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at line 4
Is there any way I can check what trigger Oracle is complaining about?
Also, how can I disable OLAP so that I don't see the OLAP error message?
Thanks -

Hi,
I had deployed my website on Iplanet webserver 6.0 and It was working fine. Now i've installed an instance of Sun One Webserver 6.1 (iplanet server 6.1) and deployed the same source code. The issue is that when the server is started and hit, it gives the following error ----

Can anyone help me out.You don't have to call[i] FacesContext.responseComplete().
There are several reasons for that error occurring.
!) Low VM size memory
2) The server went out of memory.
3) etc...
Put a trace of the error in here. -
"Cannot Find Server" Constant Error Message
I've been having this problem for quite some time. I will attempt to connect to a website only to wait forever and then get a "Cannot find server" error message. It's not just with one site, it happens with many.
It's also random. Sometimes everything connects fine and fast, and then inexplicably I get "Cant' find server" for sites like Facebook, Amazon, even Apple. It can start working again for a few minutes and then in an instant I'm getting error messages again.
However, my email always works fine.
And this is NOT a Safari problem. I also get the same trouble when I switch to Firefox or Explorer. My ISP says it's an Airport / Mac issue since it all works fine if I direct connect to the laptop and because my email is also working.
In addition, when I'm having this problem, my iPhone also cannot connect to the WWW but can get email.
I've tried powercycling the modem and the airport numerous times. It's really becoming a pain.
Any thoughts?Me too I tried everything. I am an Apple fan with 2 computers,3 iPods. I have no idea what the problem is. I had to re-run the disk each time to find the internet. Finally tried a Linksys Grouter worked first time-laptop anywhere in the house strong signal. I have had similar problems with an Airport Express-never got it to work-so tried the Extreme. I returned it-I didn't want to but I just could not get it to work.

How to fix "server problem" error message when trying to use PhoneGap build service.
I have a site that is now optimized for mobile devices and want to use the PhoneGap Build service in Dreamweaver CS6 to make a native app. Unfortunately, I keep getting the "We seem to be having server problems." error message when I try to create a new project. I did notice that the configuration file was created at the site root. I've seen a few other similar threads on this, but no solution. I've checked on any firewall issues (none) and know that the PhoneGap server is not down. The problem is on my end.
Thanks,
LorenNot an answer to the server problem, but I have posted the PhoneGap Build process here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4669054#4669054. It might help anyone still having problems.

SQL Server 2005 Error Message - when Right Clicking a DB Properties
Hi
We are running SQL Server 2005 SP03, we have x15 databases (excluding SBO-COMMON, RSP, Coresuite), all x15 databases have Maintenance Plans setup, tasks ticked:
- Shrink Database
- Clean Up History
- Back up Database (Full)
- Maintenance Clean-up task
These Maintenance Plans have been running for over 5 months now, we have recently changed our VMware Virtual Server over to a Hosted VMware Virtual Server, now when I right click on a certain database and select "Properties" I get the following error message with SQL Server:
Property Owner is not available for Database '[Turquoise_Moon_Live]'. This property may not exist for this object, or may not be retrievable due to insufficient access rights. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)
Could the Maintenance Plan be preventing me to run the Properties against a relevant DB (I have tested this by restoring a DB that doe not have a Maintenance Plan and the Properties works, tested this on SBO-COMMON and it works as well)
Can anyone agree with me or let me know what else might be the issue as I have checked the Server Roles & the Users Credentials for SQL and all seems well.
Regards
Kurt WaltersHi Gordon
This solution did not work, but I needed to delete the Maintenance Plans anyway to set it for 1 month instead of 2 Months. I am thinking as we have changed Domains, were the last one was IS Domain and the new one is Hosted Domain, the security issues are probably coming from this (as I am able to access the Properties of the IS Domain SQL Server even with the Maintenance Plans running).
Any thoughts on correcting this as we have changed Domains? (I have created a user as HOSTED\example, the old one was IS\example)

I upgraded to Itunes 11.1.0.126 yesterday....
Getting this message when I check for updates: "The Itunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection, or try again later."
Also, I get this error message, when trying to connect to the Itunes Store: "Itunes could not connect to the Itunes Store. An unknown error occurred. (-3212)"
I also upgraded my Iphone 4 to iOS 7 yesterday.
Wish I would have left well enough alone....Anybody else having these issues? Thankyou.Seems to be working now....

Ping iTunes server returns error message
Help!! I have tried to ping the server following the instructions on the Tech Specs page (http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html), but whenever I put the URL w/podcast id into my browser, I simply get an error message back from Apple and the XML file is not updated immediately.
Here's the URL I used:
https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?id=108627247 where the id is my podcast (Harpeth Hall LIbrary). Am I missing something?
Here's the error message:
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
An invalid character was found in text content. Error processing resource 'https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.wo...scoutwert
The call was intended to be basically a one-way notification. No real return value per se other than the http 200 success header if your message is received. Having said that, it's certainly pretty gross looking if you ping in a browser. A bug has been filed against this behavior so that in the future you can get a more friendly assurance in a web browser that your ping went through. In the meantime you might consider just pinging on the command line like this:
curl -I https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?id=108627247
If it was received by the iTMS server, you'll see:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
in the output. That 200 means the ping was received not that it has run yet.

AFAIK it's not possible to get the information from SQL Server; you could only try to capture the failed logins with SQL Server Profiler.

Please can you assist me on this issue. The error message states a communication link failure has occurred.
This is most likely a network related error and usually is transient.
Try to generate the snapshot again and see if the error still occurs. If the error still occurs, you will need to have a network admin check the links.

The National Instruments Domain Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I checked the forums at NI and found a similar problem with a computer with Windows Vista installed. I have Windows XP Professional installed on the computer, but tried the update through the self updating feature of the NI software.
After the update the problem remains exactly the same.
To find out more about the error, I checked several Windows properties to identify the cause of the problem. One thing I found was on the Services control, under Administrative Tools. After the error message during boot, the services window shows up 2 services whose status is "Stopping" and the startup type is "Automatic". This services are:
Lookout Citadel Driver
National Instruments Time Sincronization
I'm using an IBM ThinkPad T30 (Type 2366-BG1) with Windows XP Professional with 768Mb of memory, 80GB HDD.
Can anyone give me some hints on this matter?
Thank you in advance.Good morning.
I tried the steps suggested but the problem remained. I then decided to try some aditional steps and apparently the problem is solved. I describe the steps I took bellow.
The problem was related to my antivirus / firewall solution, Panda Antivirus + Antispyware 2007.
1. I changed the previously mentioned Windows services startup to "Manual" instead of "Automatic".
2. Rebooted the computer.
3. Opened the services control in Administrative Tools.
4. Selected the first service "Citadel..." and pressed the "Start" button.
5. After a few seconds, the firewall solution presented a window stating that the program was attempting to access the internet (or my LAN). I selected "Always allow".
6. I repeated this step for all the others NI services. Some produced the same feedback, others didn't.
7. Changed the startup type of the services to the values I had written down before.
8. Rebooted the computer and everything worked fine.
It seems my firewall solution is unable to cope with a program trying to access the Internet (or network) before a user logs in.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Alexandre Ventura
