Default timestamp is not working

This is driving me crazy, it is such a trivial thing but i can't solve it.
have a timestamp item (P10_date_created) uses sysdate as default value. Why the followng setting is not working when I press create in the form ? I kept getting ORA00904- date_created: invalid identifier. I know the column name date_created is a valid field.

That upper case is making the error msg disappear. But it looks like the field is not populated with the default value at all. How do people make this to work with default value on timestamp using the form process. I am aware of the trigger option. Just need to learn new stuff.

Default Maill app not working with Yahoo Mail.
It stopped working the other day. I tried everything but it wouldn't update new mail. The yahoo account itself is fine because I can see new mail on Yahoo or a yahoo app.

A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

My Time Capsule has stopped working. Restoring default settings does not work.

I have a 2TB Time Capsule (Model No. A1409). I think that it is approximately 20 months old. It has been working very well until around two months ago, when it began to display the flashing amber light. At that time I performed a hard reset, restoring the default settings. This worked and the capsule continued backing up perfectly for a further three weeks. However, about three weeks back the flashing amber light returned. As I have been busy elsewhere I was not able to attend to this untl recently. It does not seem to matter how many times I reset the device, I cannot return it to a working state.
The capsule has previously been set up to connect to the internet through my existing broadband service. As such, it was initially set up and subsequently restored wirelessly. I no longer seem to be able to achieve this. Has anybody else experienced similar difficulties and if so, were you able to remedy it.
Grateful for any advice. I feel another trip to the Genius Bar coming on.

Yeah absolutely - no problem.
I had the same thing happen where I did a restore on my personal TimeCapsule (TC),
and when I updated the device after installing it, it for some reason set the TC into bridged mode shutting off DHCP/NAT service.
Which means, that it doesn't reserve an IP for any client trying to attach. This is what it sounds like yours is doing.
So if you see that it says bridged, and that box with dhcp reservation is greyed out, change it from bridged to DHCP/NAT.
This will allow any client (computer/device) to attach and reserve an IP address for access to the internet.
Once that is set, and you update, hopefully the light should go green.
I would also recommend checking the "internet" tab, and making sure that your IP address is assigned using DHCP. (It probably is - but that part is essential for communication with your Internet Service Provider (ISP)...
SO - if the device goes green after the update:
If it does, then go back into the router and click on the wireless tab and confirm your wireless settings are correct, if any changes are made, update.
At that point, you should be able unplug your laptop to wirelessly connect to the router.

How to get rid of text in bookmark toolbar? the default reset will not work

HP Pavilion tx2500z - Default Function Keys not working

I have a HP Pavilion tx2500z (model: KD436AV) laptop with Windows 7 64 bit OS installed. Since last few months, I am not able to use default function keys (F1, F2...F12) and other keys at the top row of the keyboard, including Pg Up, Pg Down, Home, End, Insert, Delete. However, all the Action Keys available on these keys are working without pressing Fn Key (e.g. Sleep, Brightness, num lock etc). I get same Action Key behaviour even after pressing Fn Key.
It looks like, somehow system is locked in action key mode and I am not able to come out of it. I tried to upgrade Bios (currently on latest F.0F version) and also tried to disable the Action Key mode in BIOS, but Action Key mode is not available in BIOS of this computer. Even to enter BIOS, I faced problem because F10 key was not working to enter BIOS setup. I had to connect external keyboard to enter BIOS.
I am disperately looking for help to come out of this situation. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

An idea for you would be to test the keyboard in a different enviroment ro see if it's hardware or not.
We can check the keys by booting into the recovery partition and opening a command prompt.
Power down notebook
Press power button then tap F11 until the screen says recovery at the bottom left or says Windows is Loading files. If it shows a different menu on your screen you may have press it too late or continues to load Windows you may have an issue w/ the partition.
Next when it loads into the menu choose an option so the program is slected. I select "System Recovery" then at the next menu press FN+SHIFT+D
At the commpand prompt window that pops up test the keys w/ issues.

Default button behavior not working with melting group

Hi,
I just realize that the default button behavior, i.e. fill out form and press enter without clicking on the actual button, does not work if one or more input form elements are in a melting group. This is a bug, right? I'm using CE7.1 SP5.

I define a button as default, fill out the inputfields and press enter on the last one. As soon as I put this one in a melting group and press enter, the action of the default button is not triggered anymore. I can press enter in another field which is not in a melting group and the form is submitted correctly.
I just noticed that if the button is in a melting group (with or without an input field) it doesn't work either.
Can you reproduce this behavior?

Windows 8.1 default app is not working

However, several of them still refuse to function even after the reinstall, mostly it sees to
be the apps that came with Windows (Mail, Calendar, People, Music, and Video). I say mostly because Games would not work either but after I uninstalled and reinstalled it it started to work again, so it is not all the defaults apps, just some.
The problem is different now though, instead of saying they can't start it is almost like they launch but immediately minimize to the desktop. You can click their icon on the task bar and they well jump to full screen and then right back to the task
bar.Has this been the experience of anyone else and can anyone provide me with guidance on correcting this please?

Default Email app not working after update on 5/3 on S4. It checks mail but never downloads anything. Last updated screen stuck on date and time just before update

After the last update, the default email app is not working as expected. It can send email but when it checks email, it never downloads any new messages. The last updated display at the top of the screen shows that the last successful update was on 5/3 just before the update took place. I will probably just download an email app and can this one but thought I would ask in case there is an easy fix.

On my S4, a little message "Master sync turned off" blinks at the bottom of the email app when I tried to manually sync.
On another thread, I discovered that you have to go into the settings toggle screen (swipe down from the top, hit the little four-square icon in the upper-right) and find "Sync". That has to be turned back on. For whatever reason, it was off on my phone after NC5 installed, and the email program needs it to be on. Was it always there? I don't know.
There is a separate sync setting that you can change inside the email app for each account... but they all cease functioning if the "Sync" is off. So make sure the main "Sync" is on, and maybe that will restore your email function. Good luck!

Default ringtones do not work

All of my iPhone's default ringtones do not play now. By doesn't play, I mean no sound is emitted when the phone's ringing or when selecting in the settings menu. My custom ringtones work fine. What should I do?

Try resetting your iPhone. To reset the iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time until you see the Apple logo.
If that doesn't work, then try to reset all settings. To reset settings, Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Note: This will reset all settings. No data or media will be deleted.
If that still doesn't work, you can try restoring the iPhone using iTunes. To restore, connect the iPhone to your computer. When it appears in the Source list, click on Restore in the Summary tab. Note: This will delete all media and data. All settings will be reset as well. If possible, sync iPhone with iTunes before restoring to back up your most recent settings.

After updating my iPod touch 3rd generation to IOS5 some default apps are not working (anymore)

I updated my iPod touch 3g from IOS 4.x to IOS 5 last week and since then my iPod makes troublle!
First of all, during the update I did not see any Problems. After the update, I mean the step where the data will be restored to the iPod, I synchronized some APPS at the same time, maybe that was a big mistake. My iPod makes hard resets many times in a loop until it frozes.
So the only thing I could do here is pressing the home button and the power switch at the same time until it gets rebooted. The sync started again and it looked like everything runs fine.
As I tried to use iMessage first time I realised the first Problem: I am unable to loginto iMessage with my Apple ID. My Apple ID runs fine, I can by Apps and so on. I also enabled iCloud to see that my Apple ID is ok. But logging into iMessage I put in my Apple credentials and Password, click on next, wait 3 seconds and the screen flips back. So this feature is not working.
Next issue I see is that randomly my iPod hard resets itself. Even if I don't do anything with my iPod I can see that it resets itself, booting with the apple icon. This happens minimum three times a day... (Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV), Kern_INVALID_ADDRESSat 0x00000000)
Today I tried YouTube, an internal Application which I cannot reinstall. It's not working anymore, starting YouTube says: Unable to connect to YouTube!
I have no clue whats going on here because email and web is working fine.
In my eyes I would like to reset the whole device to a state before running IOS5 and I would try the update again. But my Question is how to reinstall IOS5?
If IOS5 will not run smoothly on my iPod, I would prefer to backref to iOS4x.
Is there anyone who could help me out here?

Found the rootcause. The battery was damaged and unable to have enough power to keep the device alive. After changing the device problem is solved.

Default spry css not working correctly

Hi. I made my first Spry tabbed panel, CS3 on a Mac. It
worked perfectly in Safari, and on a PC with Explorer. However the
panels were not "stacked" under each other in Firefox and Opera -
displayed all tab content as one long column . I ran a css
validation and it came back with two errors:
Property -moz-user-select doesn't exist : none
Property -khtml-user-select doesn't exist : none
What does this mean? Does anyone know why the tabbed panels
are not working in Mozilla browsers and how to fix?

There's no magic button to fix bad code. Adobe abandoned GoLive back in 2008 because it wasn't capable of producing standards compliant code. This is 2013. It would make more sense to re-build the site from scratch to be both web standards compliant and responsive in mobiles, tablets and desktops.

.rpt default setting Format not working?

I login to the administrator portal and right cilck on one of the report *.rpt and right click on it and properties, I see the default setting and format. So under format I choose format option, I choose Microsoft Excel 2003. and saved it. I then login as the user and ran the report, but by default it doesn't keep the setting, when I do a export I am prompt as my default .rpt format. I need it to be excel format. Even though I choose export to excel, but the setting are default, I need the setting i set . Anyone what I'm doing wrong?
Here is a screen shot of the format setting I need. When I login as the user and run the report, I am given an option to export to excel 2003, but I don't get the other print option. like Detail, and show gridlines?
Anyone know why? please advice..

Default Expand/Collpase not working in adf's af:tree component

I have a tree problem with a default events of expand/collapse.
I have a PathSet variable in the bean which I have linked to the treeState of af:tree in the jsp.
So, the page opens up with all the nodes expanded, but when I click on any of them, the tree doesn't collapse. I dont handle the DisclosureEvent since I thought that only customizes the event handling. If I dont link to the PathSet variable, then the page opens with all the nodes collapsed and the expand action doesn't work. I've tried with both request and session scoped beans, but it doesnt help. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated, have read the docs, but the problem remains.

The logic here is pretty similar to the one with folders and files. Folders are container types and files are just leaf nodes (can't contain other files).
I don't want under each folder node to have two new container nodes - one that hold other subfolders, and another one that hold just files. And that's just what I get now.
How to avoid that?

N95 8GB - Default Code 12345 Not working

I want to reset my phone to original factory settings and my phone does not accepts default code 12345, how can this issue be resolved.

post007, that is the case for some models but not all. On some FP1 based phones the hard reset actually reset the security code, I believe the N95 8GB was one of the models that this could be done on.
So it is worth taking grschinon's advice and giving it a try.
If it fails to solve it the only option is to contact a nokia care point.

Group Policy For 2008 Terminal Server Users Default Open With Not Working

I'm trying to change the default open with behavior for jpg files on my terminal server. I created a Group Policy that changed it to MS Paint to Office 2010 Picture Manager. The policy appears to apply correctly but jpg files still open in
Paint. When a user is logged on, if they look at the properties of a jpg, it shows Photo Gallery as the program to open it but when opened, it opens in Paint.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?
