Define skin bundle in Skin resource ?

Is it possible to define a skin translation bundle to a skin resource defined in the generic-site-resources.xml ?
The only possible way that i found is the ADF way by declaring it in the trinidad-skins.xml, but then you cannot modify the skin at runtime.
<resourceType name="skin" resourceBundle="">
      <resource contentDir="/oracle/webcenter/siteresources/scopedMD/shared" createdBy="system" createdDate="2012-02-13T18:51:07.481+01:00" description="Default Portal Skin" displayName="Default Portal Skin" guid="gsrb01fc392_b112_41dd_9727_6f7152fec940" metadataFile="/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/skins/portal-skin.css" modifiedBy="system" modifiedDate="2012-02-13T18:51:07.481+01:00" resourceBundle="oracle.webcenter.framework.translations.TranslationsMDSResourceBundle" seeded="false" usesCustomSecurity="false" version="11.1.1.4.0" visible="FALSE">
         <customAttributes>
            <customAttribute name="skinId" seeded="true" value="portal.desktop" visible="ALWAYS"/>
            <customAttribute name="skinFamily" seeded="true" value="portal" visible="ALWAYS"/>
            <customAttribute name="skinExtends" seeded="true" value="fusionFx-v1.desktop" visible="ALWAYS"/>
         </customAttributes>
      </resource>I tried overriding the resourceBundle attribute in the example above but that didn't change it. Don't know what it is used for also.
Thx in advance

  • Define Bundle in Skin

    Hi,
    I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.0.0. I define a skin to my ADF application and use a custom bundle class for it and change trinidad-config.xml for using my skin .
    <skin>
    <id>mySkin.desktop</id>
    <family>mySkin</family>
    <extends>blafplus-rich.desktop</extends>
    <render-kit-id>org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.desktop</render-kit-id>
    <style-sheet-name>css/GlobalCss.css</style-sheet-name>
    <bundle-name>oes.platform.view.bundle.FundationlBundle</bundle-name>
    </skin>
    every thing is OK except some text don't change. for example I add
    org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.UIXEditableValue.REQUIRED also oracle.adf.view.faces.UIXEditableValue.REQUIRED and REQUIRED_TIP keys to my bundle class for required validation
    messages but when a required validation fire I see default messages.
    please help me.
    Thanks very much.

  • What do the Score Bundles cost ? (Resource Central) SB CS5

    I am considering buying Soundbooth CS5 and understand that I can purchase additional royal free music scores by using Resource Central within SB.  What do these bundles typically cost? Is there a link I can go to see what is offered before I buy SB? I called Adobe and after speaking with 3 different representatives, none could tell me prices or what is available.

    Are you looking at the SCORES panel in Soundbooth, or the SCORES section within Resource Central?  Soundbooth itself ships with 2 scores installed.  The remaining scores are downloaded via Resource Central, which has separate tabs for Sound Effects, Scores, and News.  Under the Scores tab, there should be a dropdown to select different genre's, each of which should contain several scores for preview and download.

  • Skin or No Skin?

    What's the current thinking on skins on the iphone?
    I have one on my wife's Touch and it seems to work fine.
    We will both be getting 3Gs soon and am wondering whether to order skins.
    Thoughts?

    Are you talking about a case or the Skinit? I have gone through 7 different cases for my iPhone. I just got the Otterbox Defender case through Amamzon.com 2 weeks ago and so far it's the best I've had. It does make the phone bulky but I was needing something to "ruggedize" my iPhone. I definetly recommend using some sort of protection on the iPhone, something more than the rubber "skin" that you can get just about anywhere now.

  • Skin resource bundle

    Hi,
    I'm using a paged af:table and getting in the logs "<RenderingContext> <getTranslatedString> Could not fetch resource key Page from the skin myskin.desktop" (roughly translated).
    Solution in non-portal application is to specify resource bundle with specified key in trinidad-skins.xml/skins/skin/bundle-name but what is the proper solution in a portal application if I still want to allow for runtime selection of skin?
    The "update portal resource" dialog does not provide input of resource bundle name.
    The generated generic-site-resources.xml contains a reference resourceBundle="oracle.webcenter.framework.translations.TranslationsMDSResourceBundle" that indicates there might be some proper place to put skin bundle resources. (I tried editing the xml manually testing changing resourceBundle="MyBundle" and also adding <customAttribute name="skinBundleName" seeded="false" value="MyBundle" visible="ALWAYS"/> but to no avail).
    Best bet, if it is indeed possible to translate the "???Page???" in an af:table in a portal application, would be to add something to ResourceLibraryBundle but I don't know what trans-unit id.
    There's a handful of this exact question (e.g. https://forums.oracle.com/message/10620083) but no answers, either the solution is very obvious or there is no solution other than hard-coding the skin (which would not be that much of a problem).
    Any ideas?

    Thank you again!
    I'm using JDeveloper 10g.
    First, I've created a custom resource bundle (com.ieci.mugeju.view.resource.MugejuResourceBundle) and overrided the default resource string values.
    Second, I've created the file adf-faces-skins.xml like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <skins xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/view/faces/skin">
    <skin>
    <id>MugejuSkin</id>
    <family>MugejuSkin</family>
    <render-kit-id>oracle.adf.desktop</render-kit-id>
    <bundle-name>
    com.ieci.mugeju.view.resource.MugejuResourceBundle
    </bundle-name>
    </skin>
    </skins>
    Third, I set the skin-family property of the file adf-faces-config.xml to 'MugejuSkin'.
    If I follow all these steps, I achieve to change the text in ADF Faces components, as I wanted, but I lost the oracle styles (skin-family = oracle) that I had before following these steps.
    I must be doing someting wrong. I would like both, to mantain the oracle styles and to change the text in ADF Faces components.
    Thank you very much.

  • Skin's resource bundle

    Hello,

  • New Skinning For ComboBoxes

    Does anyone know a good resource for Skinning Comboboxes?  I know basic skining, and have been able to skin the text fields, and the 'openButton' for comboBox, however I am looking to do more.
    Specifically, I want to skin the BG of the dropDown so it will look similiar to this: http://screencast.com/t/NzY5YjYx however, with the BG scaling properly.
    Right now the BG is a MC i made in Flash (cs4) with 9 Slice enabled, and turned on. The skin that I currently have set on the box is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

    Hi,
    If you set the constraints rather than width and height it should work
    <mx:Image source="@Embed('src/com/mindspark/SkinTest1/assets/testSwf.swf#box2')"  id="background"
    top="1" left="1" bottom="1" right="1"/>

  • Error: Unable to resolve resource bundle "fiber" for locale "en_US".

    Hi all,
    Im trying to create a resources.swf file for the purpose of dynamic localization of our application. However, I keep getting this error thrown when I try to run the ant script.
    Im running Flash Builder 4, the sdk is Flex 4.5.1 with AIR 3.0 and a Windows 7-64 bit machine (just mentioning as a few posts associated it with the OS).
    After searching some of the forum posts, ( http://forums.adobe.com/thread/606383)
    1> I checked the eclipse.ini file and found the following lines already in there.
         -nl
         en_US
    2> My compiler options already has -locale en_US specified.
    3> I tried including the swc files as suggested in the referenced thread, both as a referenced library and by manually copying the swcs to the project, but neither of them helped.
         "import 2 swc folders (Under Properties -> Flex Build Path -> Library Path):

    I did import the swcs first as a referenced library, by
    Project-> Properties -> Flex Build Path -> Library Path -> add swc folder.
    Secondly, I manually copied the swcs from the folders at

            <s:SkinnableContainer id="mySkinContainer" test="bruno"     skinClass="components.ScrollPanel1" x="179" y="65"/>
    it doesn't work , i tried another thing , but never good result.
    thank for your help

    You've defined test on the skin, not on the component.  You can follow our
    patterns of proxying properties to the skin.   Just about any property on
    our SkinnableComponents should be an accurate model.
    Or cheat and try:
            <s:SkinnableContainer id="mySkinContainer"
    skinChanged="mySkinContainer.skin['test'] = bruno"

  • Component labels not rendering correctly after applying fusion skin

    Hi
    I have been using ADF 11g with blaf-plus-rich skin. Recently I upgraded to 11g R1 Patch Set 1 . I applied the new fusion skin and after that labels on the components are not appearing in the right color. They are appearing in white color as the back ground color of panel box in which they are in.
    Any help is greatly appreciated

    are rendred correctly , but text values in disabled input text appear as white.

  • BUG-JDev 11G 5407-Project level resource bundle usage messes the page

    When you define a resource bundle on the project properties and if you are using templates the page is not properly rendered in the design view but it runs fine.
    What happens is , JDev adds a JSTL set tag just before the *<af:pageTemplate>* tag and this confuses the designer. To workaround I defined the bundle variable in faces-config, it worked fine for the existing texts but when you add a new text to the page JDev keeps adding this set tag at the beginning of the page and you need delete it each time.
    It looks like a bug to me ..

    Hi,
    we have the same issue and therefore do not use the feature of the property inspector.
    Instead we open the *.properties file in jdev and edit it manually.
    There is bug 7537379 around this c:set tag which MAY BE fixed in the next release (11.1.1.2.0) but I don't know if this bug also covers exactly your problem.

    Hi,
    The setup looks okay. However, Trinidad is an Apache project and all questions should be asked on the Trinidad mailing ([email protected]) lists. This forum here will start answering Trinidad questions when ADF Faces consumes it in JDeveloper 11.
